In Unity

We are to be in unity with Our Lord GOD Almighty!

When we align ourselves with Our Lord Jesus Christ, we come into full and complete unity with Our Heavenly Father.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 6:

35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe.

37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

38 For I have come down from Heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him Who sent Me.

39 This is the will of the Father Who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise them up at the last day.

40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise them up at the last day.”

You can come into unity with other groups that will lead to death and destruction.  Many groups form and promote unity to support their own self-serving agendas.  Those agendas encourage unity with a common cause to attract those who are disengaged and looking for worldly fellowship.  Often, they are easy to indoctrinate by using humanistic arguments.  The instigators will subtly redefine words to fit their agendas.  Scripture is absolute Truth thus is the only standard I can rely on.

Jesus continued:

41 The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from Heaven.”

42 And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from Heaven’?

As I wrote yesterday about the law of familiarity, the Jews missed their encounter with Christ.  They could not come into unity with Christ because of their mindset.

53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no Life in you.

54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has Eternal Life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.

56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.

57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will Live because of Me.

58 This is the Bread which came down from heaven-not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this Bread will Live forever.”

What greater expression of unity with Christ than taking Holy Communion as He commanded!  When we take Holy Communion, we reaffirm our intent to be in full unity with Him.  We are pledging to observe and do His Commandments so that we will be seen as faithful Sons and Daughters of The Most High.

59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?”

61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you?

62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?

63 It is the Spirit Who gives Life; the flesh profits nothing. The Words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are Life.

Jesus’ Words to us become Spirit, and that Spirit gives Life.  By focusing on The Word, your spirit man will be infused with Life and then you will begin to see outward signs of transformation.  Your mindset will change and move into unity with Our Heavenly Father.  You will then reject any attempt to sway your unity to an alternative.
