Take Responsibility!

Saturday, May 31st, 2025

We are individually responsible for strengthening ourselves in THE LORD!

Whatever appears to be the most dangerous, cluttered, distracting, abusive, whatever it may be, is actually my finest moment Because Jesus prepared the table for me to feast.

David recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 23:

1 The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want (I will lack nothing, possessing more than enough: spirit, soul, and body).

2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

It is the table of nourishment, the table of fellowship, the table of intimacy, the table of tenderness, the table of genuine friendship.  Jesus prepared the table and makes the devil watch!  The enemy can do nothing about it.

David was prophesied to be king, yet David was rejected by Saul.  He was rejected by Israel.  He was rejected by the Philistines.  And now he’s rejected by the guys that owe him their life.  That will make you question the prophecy.  Did he hear right?  The case was being built stronger and stronger that the Word given to him was not right.

He spent 13 years being chased by a crazy man named Saul.

And it is written by The Holy Spirit in 1st Samuel chapter 22:

1 David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him. 2 And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him.

David entered the cave alone.  However, 600 men finally came to support him but they were in a state of distress, in debt, and discontentment.  Ultimately, he would lead them out of the darkness they were in.  Later, their commitment to David wavered.

In chapter 30:

6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD His God.

There are times when you and I will have no one fully supporting us in our individual challenges.  We must strengthen ourselves in THE LORD.  Let us always go to THE LORD to be strengthened and encouraged.  We are never truly alone.

We learn the ways of THE LORD when we review our own histories of dealing with lack and when we were in abundance.  What was it that brought breakthrough?

In my own life, I did three things:

I go into the Word of GOD and read Scriptures.  I immersed myself in the Heart and Mind of GOD in the area of my situation.  It is impossible to expose yourself to the Heart and Mind of GOD and not experience change.  It may be little by little at first, but change is occurring.  I like the “and suddenly” of GOD more that the “and slowly” of GOD.  I keep reminding myself of the Heart of THE LORD.

I worshipped THE LORD.  There is something that takes place in HIS Presence.  Worshipping HIM includes dancing.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Samuel chapter 6:

14 Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.

15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.

David wrote by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 33:

3 Sing to HIM a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

I chose to rejoice IN HIM regardless of the absence of joy, my breakthrough would come.  The willful act of joy is often the fastest way out of the cloud of oppression and difficulty.  This may be the greatest expression of faith.

Thirdly, having fellowship with other believers who will share with you what GOD is doing in their life.  You don’t need to share your problem, bringing attention to yourself.  You allow The Holy Spirit to work and minister to you through them.

Take responsibility for your own strength!

How To Deal With Fatigue

Friday, May 30th, 2025

Fatigue gives birth to unbelief!

Fatigue creates a jaded heart and causes us to lose enthusiasm.  We are tired and can become disillusioned in many aspects of our lives.  We learn just to live in the routine.

We become accustomed to activity in the place of a relationship with THE LORD.  This doesn’t happen overnight, it is a gradual turning.  However, we allow a distance to be formed in that tenderness, that intimacy with THE LORD.  We get in the mode of doing rather than being.  We become too busy.  We become resistant to the very things that we are crying out for.

Let’s look closely at a well-known Psalm.

David recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 23:

1 The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the House of the LORD Forever.

When the enemy is loud and harassing me, Jesus responds.  HE prepares a place to feast in the presence of my enemies so I can be nourished from the meal that’s in front of me.  GOD intentionally prepared a banquet so that the enemy could see.

When things look dark, turn your head to the Light!  In HIM, there is no shadow.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 1:

17 Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of Lights, Who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.

18 God was delighted to give us birth by the Truth of His infallible Word so that we would fulfill his chosen destiny for us and become the favorite ones out of all His creation!

Jesus spoke in John chapter 4:

34 To clarify, Jesus spoke up and said, My food is to do the Will of Him Who sent me and bring it to completion.”

This is the table set before us… to do His Will and fulfill our destiny.  There is something nourishing about being in the center of what GOD is saying and doing.

As I remove my focus on what’s working against me and I turn my focus to Who is working for me, I no longer see what is before as a dark moment.  Instead, it will become a training and preparation encounter.  It could be a health scare or a financial crisis, but we are meant to overcome the issue by focusing on Our Provider and Healer.  Pretending that it is not there doesn’t help, but not letting it rule my heart does help.

Real faith doesn’t deny a problem’s existence; it just denies the problem a place of influence!

Kids In Need Update

Thursday, May 29th, 2025

Bob,

We are ending this year with a bang, and I had to share with you! Every quarter, elementary teachers submit a student from their class for an award called Sensational Citizen. This is a student that has demonstrated exemplary behavior and modeled the school’s core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Readiness. It’s not uncommon for the same kids to receive the award year-after-year through their elementary career. And while they are very deserving and work hard for this honor, it always stands out when someone unexpected receives the honor.

Today was that day. I was quite honestly shocked when I heard this student’s name called because I know some of the struggles his teachers have gone through in the past with him. And then his teacher sent out a message to the staff that said: “I need you all to know that I have not lost my mind, but this boy right here has had a complete and total change, and has truly done what is needed to earn this award this last quarter of school! He has overcome so much! Love on him if you see him! I hope and pray it carries into his future years.”

I wish I could describe the way his face lit up when he heard his name called. This is a kid who NEVER expected to be honored like this. As I kept thinking about it throughout the day, I realized that he was an original Villager. Mrs. Kirkpatrick and I each had specific kids in mind when we dreamed about The Village program, and his face is on that list. He has not always been easy to love.  When we say “It takes a village,” there are no words more true to describe his elementary career so far. So many people have provided emotional and physical support for this kid. Thanks to Servias Ministries, he has received 2 winter coats, shoes, lots and lots of clothes and probably hundreds of dollars of snacks and food over the years! But one of the things I will never forget is when we gave him and his brother bicycles. His Villager picked one out for him, you ordered it, our maintenance staff assembled it, and those boys were so excited that they rode their bikes down the hallway and out the doors of the building because they couldn’t wait to get on them!

There are so many kids that we give everything we know to give. We lose sleep over these kids because we feel like nothing we can do will ever make a difference. A lot of times we never get the privilege of seeing the rewards. And then sometimes, after 4 long years, we see the Light and it makes it all worth it. This is a kid that I’m not sure we would have been able to reach without your support. His teachers would have loved him and cared for him, but I truly believe that he learned to trust us because we were able to meet him in tangible ways.

Confront Adversity

Wednesday, May 28th, 2025

Resistance and adversity are invitations for breakthroughs and advancement in The Kingdom!

As overcomers, we must change our mindset to embrace adversity.  We tend to see adversity differently than THE LORD does.  If I am not positioned well in what I am willing to speak, confess, and declare over my life, then I can actually partner in thought and in conversation with the enemy’s reason for sending the adverse winds.  I actually empower what the enemy meant for evil, and it will suddenly have the effect of destruction.

The enemy has no authority over you or me.  We have the authority, and we are not to give the enemy authority by our words, confessions, or declarations.  Don’t bow your head to adversity, do not accept defeat!

King David wrote by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 24:

7 So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of Eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for He is about to come through you.

8 You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” YAHWEH, armed and ready for battle, YAHWEH, invincible in every way!

9 So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Fling wide, you Eternal doors! Here He comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in.

10 You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” He is YAHWEH, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One, the invincible Commander of Heaven’s hosts! Yes, He is the King of Glory! Pause in His Presence

Jesus is The Lion of Judah, and a lion doesn’t cower when challenged by an adversary, neither should we.  We need to be ready for battle.  King David was made ready for battle against Israel’s adversaries even as he tended sheep.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in 1st Samuel chapter 17:

26 Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the Living God?”

David was not intimidated by Goliath, and neither should we be intimidated by our own Goliaths who appear bigger than life.

David reflects back on his past challenges with the lion and bear.

36 Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the Living God.”

37 Moreover David said, “The LORD, Who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you!”

We should refer back to past deliverances and expect Our Heavenly Father to deliver us as we face our current challenges.

King David also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 34:

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Joshua, as well as David, was a type and shadow of an overcomer.

THE LORD spoke to Joshua in Joshua chapter 1:

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

We are to take ground for The Kingdom no matter what resistance or adversity we encounter!

Being A Partaker

Tuesday, May 27th, 2025

We are to be partakers of HIS Divine Nature!

Do you believe we are manifested Sons and Daughters of GOD?

It is written by The Beloved Disciple in John chapter 1:

12 But those who embraced Him (Jesus, the True Light) and took hold of His Name He gave authority to become the children (Sons and Daughters) of God!

Once we received Christ, what should be our highest priority?  To mature in Christ and walk in His authority, to become Christlike.  You and I determine our own progress toward becoming mature in Christ.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 1:

2 Grace (enablement) and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus Our Lord,

3 as His Divine power has given to us all things that pertain to Life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him Who called us by glory and virtue,

4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Lust leads to corruption.  Promises lead to Divine Nature.  The Promised Land in the Old Testament was an inheritance of geography.  Now, we are given promises of transformational miracles such as jobs, healings, and abundance in all areas affecting our lives through which we are partakers of HIS Divine Nature.  We access Heaven’s resources to bring forth fruitfulness on the earth.

When you experience fulfillment of a promise, it’s never just GOD doing something for you, HE’S also doing something in you.  In Acts chapter 3, the lame man gets healed through Peter’s words and actions.  He’s walking (physically healed), he’s leaping (emotionally healed), he’s praising GOD (spiritually healed).  His understanding of Who GOD is has ascended to a higher level.  The promise, the fulfillment was a miracle, but the lame man was healed and transformed emotionally and spiritually.  Peter wrote about what he had experienced firsthand.  The lame man became a partaker of Divine Nature.

As we manifest Heaven on earth, we ascend to a higher level of being a partaker in HIS Divine Nature.  The fulfillment of promise gives us access to live at a level in grace that we did not have before the miracle.

When we experience or see a miracle before us, our faith is positively affected.  Any unbelief within us dissipates. Our boldness increases.  We are now ready for the next miracle to manifest.  You start thinking differently, there is nobody outside GOD’S Intent to experience HIM.  There is nobody outside HIS reach.  The lame man had been crippled from birth and was without hope.  Suddenly, his life was full of hope.

We are to be agents of change on behalf of The Kingdom.  How are we to do this?  Peter continues:

5 So devote yourselves to lavishly supplementing your faith with goodness, and to goodness add understanding,

6 and to understanding add the strength of self-control, and to self-control add patient endurance, and to patient endurance add Godliness,

7 and to Godliness add mercy toward your brothers and sisters, and to mercy toward others add unending Love.

8 Since these virtues are already planted deep within, and you possess them in abundant supply, they will keep you from being inactive or fruitless in your pursuit of knowing Jesus Christ more intimately.

Peter provides us the path to fruitfulness.  Those who do not devote themselves to maturing in Christ, are said to be blind:

9 But if anyone lacks these things, he is blind, constantly closing his eyes to the mysteries of our faith, and forgetting his innocence—for his past sins have been washed away.

10 For this reason, Beloved ones, be eager to confirm and validate that God has invited you to salvation and claimed you as his own. If you do these things, you will never stumble.

As we mature in Christ:

11 As a result, the Kingdom’s Gates will open wide to you as God choreographs your triumphant entrance into the Eternal Kingdom of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Messiah.

When the Spirit of Wisdom and revelation comes on you to know about Him, it creates in you a capacity for fruitfulness that you didn’t have otherwise.  The knowledge of His Nature creates in you an ability of fruitfulness that you didn’t have otherwise.

HIS Promises take us to manifesting His Divine Nature!

Making A Difference

Monday, May 26th, 2025

We are here to make a difference!

Jesus gave us the right and expectation to bring forth Heaven to earth.  He was the One Who expressed FATHER’S Divine Intent when He gave the disciples The Lord’s Prayer:

The Kingdom come Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

7 But if you live in life-union with Me and if My Words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done.

Many Christians don’t want to touch this verse.  They simply want to escape from this earth without doing what Jesus commanded.  Isn’t this a case of selective acceptance of Scripture, especially the Words of Our Lord Jesus Christ?

My role as a co-laborer is to pray and have results happen.  Jesus continued:

8 When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are My mature disciples who glorify My Father!

Jesus expects us to be fruitful on behalf of The Kingdom.  Those who do nothing will receive their just reward… nothing.  We need to consider what or who we can impact each day, no matter how great or small.

Jesus emphasized this Truth in Matthew chapter 16:

27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

And in Revelation chapter 22:

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Remember, it isn’t how you start, it’s how you finish!  There is still time to be fruitful and walk in His commandments.

GOD spoke the worlds into being by Words from HIS Voice.  What world are you creating through your voice?  If I constantly speak negative words, they will undermine my prayers.  We need to guard our words from nullifying our prayers.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 5:

15 And the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up, and if they have committed sins they will be forgiven.

If someone does not get healed after you have commanded sickness or disease to depart, don’t be deterred.  Don’t be disappointed or discouraged.  Continue to trust in GOD’S Word and don’t allow unbelief to enter in.  Continue to immerse yourself in the Word concerning healing.  When you prayed, you did your job, don’t quit.

Heavenly encounters release our instinctive awareness of what we have the authority to release.  Yes, we do have the authority to release healing and restoration to those who have such a need.

Of all the Epistles that Paul wrote, only the church at Ephesus had no words of correction.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 1:

17 I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of Wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know Him through your deepening intimacy with Him.

18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in us, His Holy ones!

19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power.

Have we become an effective advertisement of His immense power?

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 1:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus Our Lord,

3 as His Divine power has given to us all things that pertain to Life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him Who called us by glory and virtue,

Notice that we have been given, not will be given all things.  This is because of what we know about Him, i.e., through the knowledge of Him.  GOD wants us to use our brain to discover HIM.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 77:

6 Then I remembered the worship songs I used to sing in the night seasons, and my heart began to fill again with thoughts of You. So my spirit went out once more in search of You.

As we meditate on the Scriptures, we will embrace all things that pertain to Life and Godliness.  This empowers us to be fruitful in every good work including praying and commanding healing to come forth.

Arrogance Versus Humility

Sunday, May 25th, 2025

We encounter Jesus, we respond in humbleness, not arrogance!

In Acts chapter 9, the Superior encounters the inferior and there is no mistake which one Paul is.

Jesus spoke in Acts chapter 9:

3 As Saul journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from Heaven.

4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a Voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, Whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

7 And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one.

8 Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.

9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

Saul went from arrogant to humble as Paul in one encounter with Jesus.

Paul later write by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 2:

1 Look at how much encouragement you’ve found in your relationship with the Anointed One! You are filled to overflowing with His comforting Love. You have experienced a deepening friendship with the Holy Spirit and have felt His tender affection and mercy.

2 So I’m asking you, my friends, that you be joined together in perfect unity—with one heart, one passion, and united in one Love. Walk together with one harmonious purpose and you will fill my heart with unbounded joy.

3 Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves.

4 Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests.

5 And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let His mindset become your motivation.

As we mature in walking in the Divine Nature of Christ, we will walk in the mindset of Christ.  We will see people as Jesus sees them.  We will no longer be reluctant to pray for the sick.  Our generosity will increase as will our compassion for those in need.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 14:

7 When Jesus noticed how the guests for the meal were all vying for the seats of honor, he shared this story with the guests around the table:

8 “When you are invited to an important social function, don’t be quick to sit near the head of the table, choosing for yourself a seat of honor. What will happen to you when someone arrives who is more distinguished than you?

9 The host will bring him over to where you are sitting and ask for your seat, saying in front of all the guests, ‘You’re in the wrong place. Please give this person your seat.’ Disgraced, you will have to take whatever seat is left.

10 Instead, when you’re invited to a banquet, you should choose to sit in the lowest place. When your host comes and sees you there, he may say, ‘My friend, come with me and let me seat you in a better place.’ Then, in front of all the other guests at the banquet, he will honor you by seating you in the place of highest respect.

11 “Remember this: everyone with a lofty opinion of who he is and who seeks to raise himself up will be publicly humbled. And everyone with a modest opinion of who he is and chooses to humble himself will be raised up before all.”

We are to prefer others over ourselves.

12 Then Jesus turned to his host and said, “When you throw a banquet, don’t just invite your friends, relatives, or rich neighbors—for it is likely they will return the favor.

13-14 It is better to invite those who never get an invitation. If you invite the poor to your banquet, along with the outcast, the handicapped, and the blind—those who could never repay you the favor, then you will experience a great blessing in this life, and at the resurrection of the Godly you will receive a full reward.”

As we walk in power and authority in the Name of Jesus Christ, it is critical to maintain humility.  We must not allow ourselves to be exalted but instead point to Christ in every situation.  After all, we are simply the delivery person of His power and authority.  You don’t praise and exalt the UPS delivery driver for doing his job.

Binding And Loosing

Saturday, May 24th, 2025

We are to walk in the authority of Jesus Christ!

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 16:

15 Jesus said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.”

17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in Heaven.

18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church (ekklesia), and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

The gates of Hades represent authorities and powers.  We are to be on the offensive against those gates.  When Jesus said, “shall not prevail”, the is a promise you can count on.  The authority that Christ has put in you is His authority.

His Word through your mouth is as powerful as His Word through His!

The power is in the Source and the Source is Jesus and He only said what THE FATHER is saying.

19 I will give you the keys of Heaven’s Kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in Heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in Heaven.”

Heaven is the model for us to follow when binding and loosing.  There is no sickness or lack in Heaven.  That should be the basis by which we bind and loose in the power and authority of Jesus Christ.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 1:

1 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen,

3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

Why did Jesus find it necessary to spend 40 days teaching on the things pertaining to the Kingdom of GOD?  His death and resurrection provide us with a new relationship versus Old Testament Law.  The disciples changed from walking in fear to that of walking in boldness.  Jesus taught them of the power and authority of His Name to be used in confronting the adversary.  He also prepared them for the Baptism of The Holy Spirit of power being in them.  This would enable them to be witnesses to the end of the earth.

The one with an ascended lifestyle knows what is in Heaven that has no earthly parallel, thus he knows what to bind and what to loose.

The Beloved Disciple recorded by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 4:

1 Then suddenly, after I wrote down these messages, I saw a portal open into the Heavenly realm, and the same trumpet-voice I heard speaking with me at the beginning said, “Ascend into this realm! I want to reveal to you what must happen after this.”

We also have the ability to ascend to the Heavenly realm to see and hear.  As we worship The Lord with no distractions, we set ourselves up to ascend.  Your ascended lifestyle is not leaving the ground; it is more and more being wrapped up in the Spirit of GOD with what HE is saying and doing.

Back in the 1970s-80s, the phrase “You are so Heavenly-minded, you’re no earthly good” discouraged us from focusing on being Heavenly-minded.  We should be saying “You’re Heavenly-minded, now you will be earthly-good and are able to provide something that the planet desperately needs.”

We know what to bind because we know that the adversary comes to kill, steal, and destroy.  So, what do we loose?  We pray to FATHER to reveal what to loose in a given, unique situation.  If you bind the spirit of deception, we are to ask THE LORD what that particular person needs to open his or her eyes that will address the deception.  Since we have the authority of Jesus Christ, we can loose whatever is needed to replace what we bound.

Pursuing The Walk

Friday, May 23rd, 2025

We are to demonstrate the Kingdom by the life we are living, and it is based on His Abiding Word being in us!

When we bear much fruit, we glorify Our Heavenly Father and Christ Jesus.  We are to be significant and have purpose IN HIM.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

7 If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

In other Words, if you live in life-union with Me and if My Words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are My mature disciples who glorify My Father!

Jesus spoke in John chapter 5:

36 But I can provide more substantial proof of who I am that exceeds John’s testimony—My miracles! These works (miracles, signs, and wonders) which the Father destined for Me to complete—they prove that the Father has sent Me!

37 And My Father Himself, Who gave Me this mission, has also testified that I am His Son. But you have never heard His Voice nor seen His Form,

38 But you do not have His Word abiding in you, because Whom He sent, Him you do not believe.

How do you obtain Eternal life?  It is by believing in Jesus Christ, the person.  How did the Jews believe?  Jesus answers them:

39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have Eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

There is a huge difference in being a Biblical scholar and knowing Jesus.  Paul is an excellent example of the difference.  As Saul, the Biblical scholar, he was an enemy of Christ.  As Paul, he was a disciple of Christ.  The entire Bible points to Christ yet many have failed to keep the number priority of Christ in their teachings.  The Scripture is the launching pad into the encounter with Jesus.  Scripture points to Jesus Who gives life.  If we never point to Jesus, people will not get saved.

There are a lot of people who know Scripture but do not have the ability to demonstrate the Kingdom!

The Jews searched the Scripture because they thought salvation was in print, not a Person.  With revelation comes invitation.  Jesus doesn’t’ reveal Himself as the Healer so that you can stay sick.  Jesus doesn’t reveal Himself as the Deliverer so that you will remain captive.  Jesus doesn’t reveal Himself as Provider so that you can remain in lack and insufficiency.  Do you get the picture?

Jesus is always asking us to come and to know Him in every way.

Wisdom wrote in Proverbs chapter 3:

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

The word acknowledge means to come to know experientially.  Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and He will lead you wherever you go, in every area of your life.

19 And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.”

Peter is not the rock but the revelation of Who Jesus is given to him by Our Father.  This revelation is what the true church is built on.

The Greek word ekklesia means a legislative assembly or “selected ones.”  It is not a religious term at all, but a political and governmental term that is used many times in classical Greek for a group of people who have been summoned and gathered together to govern the affairs of a city.  For Jesus to use this term means He is giving the keys of governmental authority in His Kingdom to the church.

The gates of Hades shall not be protected by our assault on the adversary’s kingdom.  With this revelation, we will overtake the enemy, and his gates will not stand against us.

As you can see, we are moving toward a full activation of walking with signs and wonders following.  A passive believer will not participate in taking down those gates.

Co-laboring With Christ

Thursday, May 22nd, 2025

We are to demonstrate the Kingdom by the life we are living!

Does it do any good to tell people GOD is My Provider, yet I have no provision.  Does it do any good to tell people GOD is My Healer, yet I have no testimonies of Divine healing.

We are to live from Heaven towards earth as Jesus did.  If we live from earth towards Heaven, we ask GOD to come and fix a problem. When you live Heaven towards earth, you co-labor with Jesus and declare the problem fixed, solved, or changed.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians 2:

4 But God still Loved us with such great Love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy.

5 Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, HE united us into the very Life of Christ and saved us by HIS wonderful grace!

6 He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with Him into the glorious perfection and authority of the Heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!

It is vital that we transition from being earthly-minded to being Heavenly-minded.

The miracles, signs, and wonders Jesus performed proved Who He was and is.  In like manner, we are to operate with the same proof.  Embrace this Truth rather than rationalize why you can’t walk in the same manner.  As these writings transfer from your mind to your heart, you too will do greater works.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 10:

37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me;

38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”

His fruit testified of Who He is, His identity!  The prophets announced who Jesus was.  John the Baptist came and announced who He was.  The star in the East announced who He was.  Angels showed up and announced who He was.  Jesus in essence said, “You can ignore all those announcements if I don’t do miracles.  If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe me.”

Jesus spoke to us in John chapter 14:

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

Mark recorded works of Jesus in Mark chapter 6:

56 Wherever Jesus entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.

Now consider greater works that were recorded by Luke in Acts chapter 19:

11 God kept releasing a flow of extraordinary miracles through the hands of Paul. 12 Because of this, people took Paul’s handkerchiefs and articles of clothing, even pieces of cloth that had touched his skin, laying them on the bodies of the sick, and diseases and demons left them and they were healed.

Paul was not unique in ministering healing and so we should not limit ourselves to anything less than what Paul did.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 20:

19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

As we fully understand and accept our position co-seated with Christ, we will operate in the same manner as Paul, Peter, and the other disciples.  Our mission field is where we are at.
