In the early 1980’s, I pursued an understanding of Zōē, ζωή.  Zoe is: life

a) of the absolute fullness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs to God, and through him both to the hypostatic "logos" and to Christ in whom the "logos" put on human nature

b) life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous, devoted to God, blessed, in the portion even in this world of those who put their trust in Christ, but after the resurrection to be consummated by new accessions (among them a more perfect body), and to last for ever.

This “zoe” life is spoken of in Romans Chapter 8. and in John Chapter 10 Jesus spoke:

John 10:10   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life (zoe), and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

Romans 8:2   For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Jesus clearly stated that HIS purpose was and is to bring forth this “zoe” life, not sickness, dis-ease, death, plagues, etc.  We have been conditioned in our minds to believe sickness and disease are inevitable.  A headache is not the absence of an aspirin, it is an inflammation caused by some toxin.  The body’s immune system is designed to remove toxins.  As we pursue “death” and “destruction”, we send messages (whether actively or passively) to our body to “accept” the destructive interference and let it reside in our energy field. 

Each of us has an aura (energy field) and it is detectable and measurable.  As we pursue this zoe life, it enables our bodies to operate a peak performance.  As we pursue death, our bodies respond as well.  There are plenty of reports of people “giving up” on life then die.  The heart of man is an intelligence separate from the brain.  The body responds to this “intelligence” in a very efficient manner.  The mind is dualistic by nature, similar to a computer.  Garbage in, garbage out.  In its dualistic nature, it wants to judge everything based on its database of experience.  “Based on my experience” you do this or that!

When we pursue the Mind of Christ, we make our mind subservient to Our Heavenly Father’s perfect plan, will, and purpose for us.  Life becomes delicious.  We begin to head in the direction of this abundant zoe life Jesus proclaimed.  Removal of toxic thought is just as important as the removal of toxins in our body.

When we judge other people, we begin to separate ourselves from this zoe life.  Who can claim to know the fullness of the other person’s purpose in life?  Was the creation of the other person a mistake by Our Heavenly Father?  Can we look at our enemy and forgive him?

Unforgiveness  is a major barrier to the flow of life.  In our EDS project, we can detect a person’s “constitution” and whether it is out of balance.  A person’s constitutional state can be so strong, it can prevent the person from being tested.  This constitutional state is tied to the person’s “intelligent heart” and the endocrine system responds accordingly.  Practicing forgiveness will help move your constitution back in balance.

Are these toxins, chemicals, bacteria, viruses real?  Yes, they are simply illegitimate interferences in our bodies.  What do I  mean by illegitimate?   Illegitimate means:  contrary to or forbidden by law; "an illegitimate seizure of power"; "illicit trade"; "an outlaw strike"; "unlawful measures".  These invaders have illegitimately been given power to operate and flourish in our bodies.  Is there any invader that can stand before the Presence of Our Heavenly Father?  Did Jesus walk around with an aspirin bottle for that occasional headache?  We have been conditioned to give power and authority to sickness and disease in the most subtle ways.  I don’t deny their existence, I deny their “right” to prevail.  We must guard our hearts for out of hearts flow the “issues of life”.  We must correct our “stinkin’ thinkin’”.  As we de-clutter our thoughts, walk in love, and forgive others, the healing and restoration begin.

As we each accept this zoe life flowing through us and remove all of the learned beliefs of death and destruction, we open ourselves up to health, healing, and life more abundantly.  Nowhere does Jesus say that you should physically suffer as being HIS will or plan for you.  We should not judge others because of their infirmity.  We should pray that this zoe life flow through them in an uninterrupted  manner.  If we truly want to be lawful, we should focus on the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.  As Jackie Chan said to the “karate kid”, your focus needs focus!

Titus 1:15   Unto the pure all things [are] pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving [is] nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled

In our quest to know Love, the Character of Our Heavenly Father, we must cleanse our minds of all the “crap” that we have consumed over our lifetime.  Men’s traditions, revelations, and earthly knowledge hinder our ability to proceed to the higher levels of revelation.  “As we think so are we” is a reality that must be dealt with first.  We have been inundated with the “power” of disease.  In the U.S., there is a drugstore on every corner now preparing for the baby boomers and their need for pharmaceuticals.  Cancer technology is being advertised every night on television.  The new healthcare bill will probably bankrupt the country in years to come unless a revelation comes forth.

Have you ever noticed how some people seem to draw problems to themselves like a magnet?  Whether it be disease, financial stress, or emotional issues, some people never seem to get a break!  Other people live with chronic infirmities as though Our Heavenly Father is punishing them for some act they committed or their forefathers.  My esteemed colleague with over 40 years of medical experience has told me more than once, “The body is designed to live forever and is designed to heal itself”.  Why are we sick?

If our Creator designed us in HIS likeness and image, why are we giving so much power to dis-ease?  Disease is a destructive interference in our body’s operating systems.  Remove the interference and you will begin the healing process.  However, the spirit and soul both trump the body’s physical processes.  A spiritual issue can and will provide the destructive interference to healing.  Conversely, the spirit will remove a destructive interference by placing the body into equilibrium and evoking command over the cellular processes to return to normal.

Jesus healed the multitudes and never put a sickness, disease, or chronic condition on anyone.  Why do we tolerate any other condition?  We give power to the destructive interferences whether we do it in an active OR passive fashion.  The mind or ego will always rationalize why we are sick.  “It’s my ministry.”  “It’s in my genetics”.  “I deserved it because I am unworthy.”  Wrong!

We must take our thoughts captive and get back to the basics.  Our Heavenly Father created us from a motivation of Love and Divine Intent.  HE made no mistake when HE put each of us here at our appointed time.  Jesus was the PERFECT sacrificial lamb for our sins and sicknesses yet we have give power to sickness as though it is more powerful than Our Heavenly Father’s Love.  Am I denying the existence of disease? No.  I’m denying its rights and power over my body.  Jesus must be our example.

It is time we pursued revelation directly from Our Heavenly Father concerning sickness and disease.  Our focus has been on the problem thus we draw the problem to ourselves like a magnet, “As a man thinks, so is he”.  If you have health problems, pursue the Presence of Our Heavenly Father.  In HIS midst, sickness and disease cannot prevail. 

James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
