From the poet Robert Frost, “How many things have to happen to you before something occurs to you?”
Selah!
Paul wrote in Ephesians chapter 4:
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
What it the primary purpose of a fruit tree? Is it to consume water and nutrients? Is it simply to provide shade? No, it is to produce good fruit to be consumed and promote life. This is a picture of our purpose here on earth. FATHER gave us the five-fold ministry for the purpose of bringing each of us into full maturity so that we can produce effective results for the Kingdom.
I have no issue with people attending church but attending church day in and day out is like becoming a professional student, never really becoming a productive member of society. If you stay in school forever then what is the point of your education? A fruit tree is called to be fruitful, not just take up space and suck the life out of the soil with no tangible result. The intent of the church should be to mature the saints so they can become productive members of the Kingdom and spread the Gospel in some fashion with Love as the intent.
To edify means to build up and cause to grow. If the church is not promoting growth and spiritual maturity then what is the point of opening the doors each week? Each of us should be coming into full maturity in Christ so that we too will allow the Gospel of the Kingdom to flow not only to us from Above but through us to others. We are called to become spiritually mature and fruitful else we are simply taking up space.
Children are tossed to and fro because their minds are not spiritually mature enough to stay the course. Each week they need a new spiritual “high” and have developed little or no patience for the Word to take effect in their lives. They are impatient for results. They end of producing no fruit of any value. The fruit they do produce is not enough for others to be supplied for these little ones tend to consume all the fruit they produce on themselves. They are self-serving.
A fully matured believer will produce healthy, mature fruit day in and day out. You can trust their continuous production of fruit for they have proven themselves over time. They are faithful to their calling and are open to the deeper aspects of the Kingdom. Their reliance is on FATHER rather than on man. They consider what others are saying as possible revelation but weigh their words as possibilities until FATHER confirms the Word. They don’t look for signs to confirm a word but instead signs follow them as they walk out HIS Word. They know FATHER’S Character and ways rather than just HIS acts.
They become sensitive to the needs of others so they can minister and supply needs as FATHER directs. They promote unity rather than division but they are uncompromising when it comes to those who come forth in cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting. They are unwilling to compromise the Word and will not condone those who do. They are able to inspect the fruit coming forth to discern whether the fruit is good or bad.
The Body of Christ is to become mature without spot or wrinkle. Each member must mature into their particular calling so that the entire body will not be lacking in any aspect. We must focus on being givers not takers. Let our resources be for HIS use and purpose as we supply every joint. Let nothing prevent us from achieving full maturity.
In Romans chapter 5, Paul wrote:
17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
By HIS nature FATHER is in the abundance business and we should expect nothing less. Sin, sickness, and death prevailed in the world before Jesus came with the fullness of the solution. He did not die for just 5% of the global population but instead He died and shed His Blood for all mankind. The solution to our problems are not found in the opinions of carnally-minded men and women who have yet to embrace the Wisdom from Above but our solutions are found in the Throne Room of Heaven.
No matter how severe the problem, grace abounds and is greater than any situation you find yourself in. Just as Adam’s sin spread from one to many, the gift or righteousness will spread to men in even a greater fashion for it is a free gift requiring no one to be deserving of such a gift. FATHER’S grace is sufficient enough that all men are covered by the Blood of Christ. This is the hope of the Gospel of Christ and this is exactly why we are told by Jesus in His resurrected state to go into all the world without limitation. One man’s sin (Adam) is not greater than the Blood of the manifested Son of GOD.
FATHER’S abundance through grace does not stop with salvation even though many people have a difficult time grasping the reality of abundance in other areas addressed by FATHER. HE performed many healings in the Old Testament which was incomplete relative to the new and better covenant of the New Testament. FATHER’S Characteristic of provision was not delayed or held back until the manifestation of Jesus. When Abraham was in the midst of making a covenant with FATHER, he was prepared to sacrifice Isaac yet FATHER in HIS Love provided another form of sacrifice. In Genesis chapter 22:
13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.
14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”
FATHER’S Name of Jehovah Jireh, the LORD of Provision, was revealed before even the Law was given. FATHER’S Grace is found throughout history, not just dependent or restricted to certain situations or time frames. FATHER is constantly expanding HIS abundance through HIS grace and today is no different. HE expanded the inclusion of HIS provision through Christ so no man would be left out of HIS grace and mercy. HE did this through the priesthood of Jesus Christ as revealed in Hebrews chapter 5:
14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest
16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. 17 For He testifies:
“You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
18 For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness,
19 for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
The universe is ever expanding just as when seeds are planted the harvest surpasses the amount of seeds planted. FATHER instituted the Law of Abundance in all areas. The limitation arises only in our minds and flesh for the flesh thrives on scarcity whereas the Kingdom of FATHER thrives in abundance. Aligning yourself with FATHER will move you toward abundance in grace as well as other areas. Psalms chapter 34 speaks of this reality:
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
In Romans chapter 8, Paul wrote:
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Each of us has the decision-making ability to determine our future. We all have a choice or else there would be no point for having a Bible to lead and guide us through this physical life. Throughout Scripture we are told to do and pursue certain things and likewise steer clear of other actions. There are laws to live by and if you do so the results will promote life and health whereas if you choose to defy the basic laws you will surely die by way of the path of destruction. Will you choose a life of Love or will you choose another path? The decision is yours… choose life.
The choice is simple until your flesh gets involved. The flesh wants its way and will enslave you if you allow it to take control of your life. It relies on your five physical senses to promote its agenda and strengthen its hold on you. When you allow your mind to focus on satisfying the needs of the flesh, the result is ultimately death and destruction.
When you set your mind on the things of the SPIRIT and begin to live according to the SPIRIT, life and peace are the result. You realize that life becomes less complicated and your Love for mankind increases. You become more sensitive and compassionate to those in need and you do not see war and conflict as the answer to life’s challenges. Your fleshly desires are no longer in control of your life and you don’t dwell on thoughts which would pursue the path of death and destruction.
In Paul’s letter to Titus we find:
15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
Your flesh seeks to direct your thoughts away from purity and focus on the fleshly desires. Yet as you continually set your mind to the things Above, you will cleanse and purify your heart and mind until you finally perceive a purity of purpose. Once you get to this point you gain clarity in your purpose and calling. When you rise up above the complexities created by the flesh, you will then see the futility and emptiness created by living in such a manner. You will be astonished at the waste of time, energy, and other resources that take place when living according to the flesh.
What happens as a result of a setting your mind to the things of the SPIRIT? Your heart becomes pure and Jesus shares the results of such a heart in Matthew chapter 5:
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see GOD.
Your eyes will be opened to how FATHER is in everything. You will gain appreciation for every aspect of life and look at all challenges as an aspect of your Spiritual growth and maturity. You will become one with nature since FATHER is the Creator of every living thing. Suddenly the beauty that has been hidden in plain sight will be noticed and honored for FATHER’S Divine Intent is found throughout the universe. You become more sensitive to the children as they fix their gaze upon you because you are emitting a pleasant aura. Yes, that is a scientific reality that everything and every person emits a vibrational state that is visible to those who are able to see it. Babies can easily perceive auras and that is why they will cry when certain people get close to them. As your heart becomes pure, your vibrational state increases and all aspects of your being moves toward life and peace. Jesus continues in Matthew chapter 5:
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
By setting your mind toward Love and life, you begin the process toward becoming a mature Son. It is a simple and straightforward path but very narrow. Only those willing to crucify the flesh will stay on the path but it can be achieved or else we would not be instructed to pursue it.
Any Truth in Scripture can be misused for selfish motives. There have been many books written about the power of positive thinking and generally they are at least half true. Some believers have distanced themselves from basic Spiritual Truths due to publicized misuse of those Truths. For example, a used car salesman may confess success over and over again as he misrepresents the value and condition of a car to a prospective buyer. Does that negate positive confession? Not at all. Misuse of revelation for personal gain does not undermine the basic Truth behind the Spiritual Law.
In Philippians chapter 4 Paul wrote:
10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
What a positive confession! Shouldn’t we all think and ponder about the promises given to us by Our Heavenly Father? Shouldn’t we confess those promises even in the face of adversity? The Beloved Disciple John write in 1 John:
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Is it a lie to confess what FATHER has spoken about you? No, we should be willing to express HIS Truth in our life no matter what circumstance we find our self in. There is power in our words and we should confess HIS Truth rather than accepting the temporary circumstances before us. Are we to deny the circumstances or adversities we are facing? Of course not. Denial doesn’t result in a solution, confessing HIS Promise concerning the circumstance instills hope and expectation of the resolution or deliverance needed.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
If you have a disease, you need to place your hope and faith in FATHER’S Promises in the area of your need. You actually acknowledge your sickness when you proclaim your healing because healing only comes after sickness is detected. Confession plants the seeds of Truth in your mind, will, and emotions and both your spirit and your soul can and will effect change in your body.
The power of positive thinking without Truth supporting it will only be partially effective. When you stand on FATHER’S Word you energize your thinking which will maximize results. In Romans chapter 10 Paul wrote:
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Believing and confessing are basic Scriptural principles we should all embrace. Our current circumstances are temporary and as we truly believe and confess HIS Word, those circumstance become subject to change. That is a fundamental Truth of Romans 10:10 else a sinner could never be saved and a believer would not be healed.
In the above verse, the word salvation comes from the root word sōzō. This word means: to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction; to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health. Our confession needs to line up with FATHER’S promises of health and healing. Our mouth can be a hindrance to hope, faith, and the manifestation of healing. We should guard our words.
What if someone belittles you because your words have not manifested a change to the situation? Who cares? Let them remain subject to circumstances while you trust IN HIM. Abraham was not moved by his age or the barren state of Sarah. Moses was not moved by the power of Pharaoh. Joshua and Caleb were not moved by the giants in the land. If FATHER says it, believe it, and confess it before men. It is HE who has the power to change the temporary and as you align yourself with HIS Word in your thinking and speech, you will truly tap into the power of positive thinking.
An appropriate video for today:
Today we celebrate the resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. I am truly grateful that FATHER sent HIS Son to redeem all of mankind which includes my family, our friends, our acquaintances, the stranger, and even our enemies. Yep, that covers everyone! The Beloved Disciple John wrote in the 3rd chapter of his Gospel:
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
The term “whoever” denotes all, anyone, and does not infer any exclusions. The “world” encompasses all of mankind thus we should purpose to move toward unity rather than supporting division and associated divisive behavior. Jesus was FATHER’S manifested Example of Divine unconditional Love and we should live our lives in the same manner. Jesus specifically dealt with this topic in John chapter 13:
12 So when He (Jesus) had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.
17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
If you want to truly honor the resurrection of Jesus Christ then serve mankind in the same manner. The act of washing feet was not the point, the intent behind the act is where we should focus. Give of your life to your brother and sister… He did! Look for ways of being a blessing to others rather than look for ways to extract from them to feed your ego or your pocketbook. There are many people who make poor decisions and want others to “bless” them in order to justify their past mistakes. We are to be a blessing rather than to seek a blessing from others.
Some people focus on the customs surrounding Easter and spew forth divisive words of criticism about the term “Easter”, egg hunts, etc. Does Love beat up everyone else and while doing so exalt one’s self at the same time? FATHER isn’t moved by the customs and traditions of man but HE is moved with compassion toward mankind and HE understands the need of people to have something in common. We need to look for what we have in common with others rather than slicing them up by attacking their customs and traditions.
Everyone is at least partially blind to the Truth of the Gospel. I look back at some of the doctrines I held in the past only to find how mistaken I was once FATHER opened my eyes to deeper Truths. Consider the disciples. They walked with Jesus for 3 1/2 years yet only one disciple showed up at the cross. Of course it was the Beloved Disciple John who had a revelation of Love. The others had scattered out of fear. Peter denied Christ three times out of ignorance and blindness yet Jesus restored him. That is what Love does.
We should look at today’s celebration as an opportunity to Love and unify all those people FATHER created who are in our circle of influence. Let the children hunt for eggs in their desire to play. Be a light of joy and Love rather than an isolationist who is condescending towards others who have less revelation. Celebrate the Resurrection in Love for that was the motivation of Resurrection to begin with. Hallelujah, The KING has risen!
Angels are FATHER’S messengers provided for our benefit and are given to us out of HIS Love. Their responsibility is to minister according to our Divine purpose in life and will intervene on our behalf when called upon to do so. They have been active throughout Scripture and they are actively carrying out their mandate today.
Psalm 34:7 The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.
Our angels abide with us as we journey through life. They perform specific tasks for our protection, encouragement, and instruction. My family has had many occurrences where angels have intervened and we are truly grateful for their presence especially in times of eminent danger.
We each have an angel assigned to us and may have additional angels summoned as the need arises. In Matthew chapters 1 and 2, an angel appears to Joseph in a dream and gives him directives concerning the birth of Jesus and the movement of the family to and from Egypt for their protection:
1:20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
1:24 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife,
2:13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”
2:19 Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.”
When our son was three years old (1978) he was awakened by a demonic presence in the hallway just beyond our bedroom door. The demon could not come any closer but frightened our son. Our son told my wife the next morning about the encounter in a “three year old’s vocabulary”. That evening we prayed throughout the house and were satisfied that we had dealt with the adversary. In the middle of the night he crawled in bed with us and the next morning my wife inquired of him. He awoke again but this time he said, “There were “two tall men” in the hallway and they took my hand and talked to me about Jesus! Mommy, they were angels.” Since the topic of angels had not come up in the past, we knew his experience was genuine and accurate. The child was at peace.
Angels are meant to assist us in reaching Spiritual maturity and purpose. Jesus was targeted by King Herod to be killed in order to keep Him from fulfilling His calling. Joseph responded and kept the family safe. When you are miraculously saved from certain death you realize that your purpose is yet to be fulfilled. FATHER has provided these ministering spirits as one aspect of HIS Love for us.
Angels reveal FATHER’S Plan to us. In Luke chapter 1, Zacharias was in the Temple:
11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.
15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.
16 And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.”
We are not to worship angels for we are only to worship Our Heavenly FATHER. However we should respect their ministry knowing they have been mandated specifically by FATHER to carry out HIS Will. They do not serve at the whim of the one they are protecting but instead their high calling promotes FATHER’S plan and purpose for that person. In Acts chapter 5, the Apostles experienced deliverance by the hand of an angel:
19 But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said,
20 “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.”
I can personally attest to the ministry of angels in my own life. As many of you know I was involved in a biking accident but was pulled away from certain death. However, the bike didn’t make it. It was returned to us by the police in easy-to-carry parts. Without direct intervention by my guardian angel, I would not have written this blog today. That day reaffirmed that my purpose on earth was not fulfilled. FATHER, I am truly grateful for your deliverance!
The word “forget” means to put out of one’s mind; cease to think of or consider. I trust these writings will keep you from forgetting HIS benefits. In Psalms 103, David writes:
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.
I prefer to spend the beginning of the day in FATHER’S Presence and Word. As HE speaks to me I write according to what is on HIS agenda rather than mine. In my early years much of my interaction with HIM was to petition for needs to be met. As I have matured my needs are much less and simply fellowship with HIM is my focus. I see how HE simply meets the needs as they arise and our relationship is no longer based on what HE can provide but WHO HE is. David recounts this reality concerning Moses:
7 He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.
There is so much noise being generated these days from the output of technology, it is easy to get distracted away from what is truly important. I recently served on jury duty and was included in the first group of 35 to be selected for a trial. As we were waiting outside the courtroom, about 30 of the 35 were absorbed in accessing their cell phones. Nowadays most people cannot be quiet when they are by themselves, they must be distracted. In Psalms 46, we are reminded:
10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
I was more interested in hearing FATHER and allowing HIM to show me anything noteworthy. I ended up only having to report one of the normal three to five days, an unusual occurrence. What a blessing! Hallelujah!
There is a well known phrase “Use it or lose it.” If you quit exercising your body, it will grow weaker. If you quit exercising your mind, it too will grow weaker. What about your spirit? When Jesus was declaring the signs of the end times in Matthew 24, He addressed this issue:
11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved
How can you be deceived if you are spending time with FATHER and listening to HIM? You can’t unless you are forgetting HIS benefits. How can lawlessness abound and your Love grow cold if you are in the midst of the Lawgiver? I can see the writing on the wall as people spend more time on their cell phones texting “noise”, taking pictures of their meals to share on Facebook, surfing the 300 cable channels, etc. There is nothing wrong with using technology in moderation but when it becomes the center of your attention it is now a distraction. These distractions will cause you to forget HIS benefits and we have been warned against such distractions which prevent us from giving FATHER our full attention.
Are you having problems? Maybe you should look back at the day and check your priorities. Are you afflicted? Do you know how to deal with your afflictions?
Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
And Jesus Who manifested FATHER’S Love:
Luke 7:21 And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight.
As we keep our minds renewed and immersed in HIS Word and spend the firstfruits of our time with HIM, we will not forget HIS benefits. HE will lead us and guide us throughout the day.
FATHER has many names which reflect HIS character. The following lists some of HIS Names:
Today’s focus is on Jehovah Rapha: The Lord That Heals. We know that FATHER is willing to heal for that is one of HIS many names. What people must reconcile in their own minds is: Will HE heal me and does HE want to heal me today? The answer is a resounding “Yes!”. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians chapter 6:
1 We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
2 For He says:
“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
As I have written in the past, FATHER said to proclaim “Now is the time!”. Yes, FATHER has healed countless people in the past and yes HE will heal and restore in the future but HE is ready and willing to heal now. FATHER did not wait for Jesus to go to the cross to begin healing. He healed all of the children of Israel who entered the wilderness from Egypt. In Exodus chapter 15, HE revealed HIS Name Jehovah Rapha:
26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.(Jehovah Rapha)”.
This name denotes restoration in the “now” not later. We must embrace each of HIS Names in our lives if we are to come into full maturity of Divine Unconditional Love. Some people want to focus on only one or two of HIS promises because they are unwilling to be “all in”. Their spiritual immaturity is brought into the light. They lack the wisdom, understanding, and patience to become fully mature in Christ. Those are the ones who rise quickly then fail miserably. They thrive on emotion rather than commitment as many teenagers act in the same manner. They are impatient and will pick the fruit before it has matured and is suitable for eating. They are unbalanced in their revelation of the Word.
In Psalm 105 we find the result of FATHER’S Name “Jehovah Rapha”:
37 He also brought them out with silver and gold,
And there was none feeble among His tribes.
Every person among the tribes of Israel heard and responded to the healing power of Jehovah Rapha. Did they have a greater or better covenant than us? Had one person received salvation through the Blood of Christ? No. Our Creator is in the restoration business yesterday, today, and forever. We must not restrict HIM by simply proclaiming HE is “willing”. HE will heal us in all manner of sickness and disease. It is HIS Will today. There is no aspect of your life that HE can’t restore.
You may not need physical healing today but you may need emotional healing and restoration. You may need deliverance from a bad habit. Whatever the need, know that HE is not only willing but WILL heal you. I am amazed that people place their trust in a little pill prescribed by a man or woman in a white coat who is subject to error as the ones they are treating yet we have such a difficult time trusting FATHER, the ONE WHO created us.
Your will determines your path and you can choose life or death, health or sickness, peace or fear. As you spend time with HIM and immerse yourself in HIS life-giving Word, your physical body will begin to respond. The rate at which you make the transition will often determine your rate of restoration. A miracle will dramatically speed up the process. Doctors don’t work miracles but FATHER does. In Romans chapter 12, Paul states:
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Now is the time!
