As we walk in Holiness, we will pursue HIM night and day!
King David wrote by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 63:
1 O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.
3 Because Your Lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
6 When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.
7 Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
8 My soul follows close behind You; Your right Hand upholds me.
9 But those who seek my life, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 They shall fall by the sword; They shall be a portion for jackals.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him shall glory; But the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.
King David sought THE LORD early in the morning and late at night. He understood the importance of keeping THE LORD before him throughout the day. His life counted on it!
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 7:
21 Through my experience of this principle (the flesh versus the spirit), I discover that even when I want to do good, evil is ready to sabotage me.
22 Truly, deep within my true identity, I Love to do what pleases God.
23 But I discern another power operating in my humanity, waging a war against the moral principles of my conscience and bringing me into captivity as a prisoner to the “law” of sin—this unwelcome intruder in my humanity.
24 What an agonizing situation I am in! So who has the power to rescue this miserable man from the unwelcome intruder of sin and death?
25 I give all my thanks to God, for His mighty power has finally provided a way out through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! So if left to myself, the flesh is aligned with the law of sin, but now my renewed mind is fixed on and submitted to God’s righteous principles.
Our flesh will battle daily with our spirit if given the opportunity. Paul was given the revelation of this conflict and understood the necessity to renew his mind daily.
And in chapter 12:
1 Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be His Sacred, living sacrifices. And live in Holiness, experiencing all that delights His Heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.
2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His Eyes.
My mind is being transformed daily as it is renewed by The Word, proving what is that good and acceptable and perfect Will of GOD!
Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 1:
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His Will in all Wisdom and Spiritual understanding;
10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the Knowledge of God;
11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;
I have personalized and I pray these two verses every morning:
I walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the Knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy
12 giving thanks to the Father Who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love,
I pursue a closer relationship with FATHER, My Lord Jesus, and The Holy Spirit throughout each day… I trust you are doing the same!
