Heavenly-Minded

Tuesday, September 30th, 2025

We should focus on being Heavenly-minded!

I remember a well-known faith teacher spoke these words as a criticism, “He’s so Heavenly-minded, he’s no ‘earthly good.’”   It’s impossible!  The only way to be of earthly good is to be Heavenly-minded.

At all times, we should live our lives with Eternity in mind.

Paul penned this prayer by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 1:

17 I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of Wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know Him through your deepening intimacy with Him.

18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in us, His Holy ones!

19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power

20 that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the Heavenly realm!

Each of us has a unique calling to be manifested on behalf of The Kingdom.  Our power and authority come from Heaven, not the earth.  We must live with Eternity in mind.  We should invest in the big picture; it’s not all just about here on earth.

My desire is for Jesus to speak these Words to me:

In Matthew 25:

21 “Commending his servant, the master replied, ‘You have done well, and proven yourself to be my loyal and trustworthy servant. Because you have been a faithful steward to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of your master, who will say to you, “Enter into the joy of your Lord!” ’

Eternity is the cornerstone of logic and reasoning.  Once we remove eternity from the equation, we lose all sense of wisdom, all sense of accountability, all sense of purpose.

Many people do not have an appetite for Eternity, because they have so little invested there.  We have appetite for where we invest.  Are you making calculated, deliberate investments in Eternity?  Sharing your faith is an investment in Eternity.  These writings are intended to recalibrate you for Eternity… to become Heavenly-minded.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st John chapter 4:

17 By living in God, Love has been brought to Its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world.

18 Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But Love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached Love’s perfection.

19 Our Love for others is our grateful response to the Love God first demonstrated to us.

I can only Love H:IM in the measure I’ve received Love from H:IM.  Receiving the Love of GOD gives me a capacity for Love I did not have before.

I was designed to be a Lover of GOD with everything that I am, every aspect of my being.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 12:

30 And you shall Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Everything within me has been prepared to Love GOD completely.  We have an emotional capacity to Love that must find expression in my relationship with GOD and it is a lifetime journey.

We are meant to keep going forward toward full maturity in our relationship with Our Heavenly Father.  As we do, we become Heavenly-minded resulting in us producing good fruit on the earth.

Two Types Of Prayer

Monday, September 29th, 2025

Differentiate between two types of prayer!

In Matthew chapters 6 & 7, Jesus spoke on two different types of prayer.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 6:

5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

In this instance, you are praying about a basic need such as food.  You don’t have to convince FATHER with repetition to provide food for HE knows you need food.

Then in chapter 7, Jesus spoke in:

7 “Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you.

8 For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.

11 If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is your Heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask him?

One chapter says ask but don’t keep asking; the other says to ask and keep asking.  What’s the difference between the two?  In chapter 7 above, your prayers focus on the righteous desires and dreams of your heart.

Persistence in prayer changes you where you become a person that can properly steward the manifestation of your dream or desire.  Maturity of stewardship is the issue.

Why does GOD discipline HIS children?  So HIS blessings don’t kill us!  If we ask for an oak tree, HE gives us an acorn.  Can you steward the answer in its embryonic form?

When I properly steward, I become a different person, my strength increases my resolve, my sense of priorities change.  Suddenly, I am willing to pay any price to achieve the dream.  Persistence in prayer is connected to breakthrough.  Where there is not the prayer of persistence, there is an absence of breakthrough.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 11:

24 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’

25 And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.

26 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”

And in John chapter 7:

38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

The man whose heart is a dry place, has not sought the flow of Presence of GOD by His Holy Spirit Who brings forth living water.  We are not to give place to the devil and his influence by walking in prayerlessness.  Prayerlessness creates vacancy in the heart of a person.  Prayer fills the vacancy in our hearts.

Prayerlessness

Sunday, September 28th, 2025

Don’t be forced into an opinion in a situation where you have no responsibility!

Once again, do not criticize a servant to his Master.  We are to pray for those who oppose us rather than form an opinion in our own mind that would exalt us above that person.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st John chapter 3:

20 Whenever our hearts make us feel guilty and remind us of our failures, we know that God is much greater and more merciful than our conscience, and He knows everything there is to know about us.

If you form an opinion about someone, in essence you have done so with very little knowledge about that person and his circumstances and intent.  Only FATHER knows, so don’t take a position in such a situation.  Judge not lest you be judged.

James wrote in his epistle by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 4:

2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.

Prayerlessness creates lack; prayerlessness fuels lack; prayerlessness is what lack wants to consume.  When we face a need and there is prayerlessness, it actually fuels lack instead of causing the need to be solved and disappear.  You have not because you ask not.  So, prayerlessness actually sustains need and lack.

Most of the time, GOD is waiting for me to do something.  HE gave you and me that authority over the earth, but we must express authority with our faith-filled words and prayers.

The weightiness of what you are facing should determine the weightiness of how you pray!

And in James 4:

10 Be willing to be made low before the Lord and HE will exalt you!

When you pray, you are humbling yourself before THE LORD.  You have the problem and HE has the solution.

And in James chapter 5:

16 Confess and acknowledge how you have offended one another and then pray for one another to be instantly healed, for tremendous power is released through the passionate, heartfelt prayer of a Godly believer!

We must not be casual in our prayers to FATHER.  Casual prayers get casual answers.  If you want Heaven to move, let your heart be moved!  We are to pray with sincerity and intense conviction.  We are praying to THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY so don’t pray a casual prayer expecting the King of The Universe to respond.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 18:

1 One day Jesus taught the apostles to keep praying and never stop or lose hope. He shared with them this illustration:

2 “In a certain town there was a judge, a thick-skinned and godless man who had no fear of others’ opinions.

3 And in the same town there was a poor widow who kept pleading with the judge, ‘Grant me justice and protect me from my oppressor!’

4-5 “He ignored her pleas for quite some time, but she kept asking. Eventually he said to himself, ‘This widow keeps annoying me, demanding her rights, and I’m tired of listening to her. Even though I’m not a religious man, and I don’t care about the opinions of others, I’ll get her off my back by answering her claims for justice and I’ll rule in her favor. Then she’ll leave me alone.’ ”

6 Jesus continued, “Did you hear what the godless judge said—that he would answer her persistent request?

7 Don’t you know that God, the True Judge, will grant justice to all His chosen ones who cry out to Him night and day? He will pour out His Spirit upon them. He will not delay to answer you and give you what you ask for.

8 God will give swift justice to those who don’t give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting, in the same way as the widow. Even so, when the Son of Man comes back, will He find this kind of undying faith on earth?”

There is a tipping point in prayer in which the answer is released.  The widow was persistent in her prayer, so should we.  Her persistence got her the breakthrough.

Prayerlessness allows the absence of breakthrough to become the norm.  We must be diligent, persistent, and fervent when we pray if we truly want a breakthrough.

Heaven Has More

Saturday, September 27th, 2025

Heaven is withholding certain things until the Sons of GOD are manifested on the earth!

Those who aspire to be manifested Sons (and Daughters) of GOD, will take on FATHER’S attributes and be known in the spirit realm.  When this level of maturity is achieved, you are using your authority to come before a Perfect Father, and you are using it to actually pray FOR someone who has opposed you rather than AGAINST such a person.  We are to pray for their blessing and welfare, not for their cursing or personal loss.

Wisdom spoke in Proverbs chapter 30:

10 Never defame, criticize, or slander a servant before his master, for you will be the guilty one and a curse will come upon you.

We must watch over our words!

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 18:

11 “The Son of Man has come to give life to all who are lost.

12 Think of it this way: If a man owns a hundred sheep and one lamb wanders away and is lost, won’t he leave the ninety-nine grazing the hillside and thoroughly search for the one lost lamb?

13 And if he finds his lost lamb, he rejoices over it, more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.

14 Now you should understand that it is never the desire of Your Heavenly Father that a single one of these little ones should be lost.”

When you view lost sheep as FATHER does, your identity in Christ becomes manifest.  HE is in the restoration business; we should be as well.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.

All of creation is travailing, waiting for the manifestation of The Sons and Daughters of GOD.  Our intention is to teach and encourage those who want to mature into the manifested Sons and Daughters of GOD.  We have no other agenda.

When you reach maturity, your identity becomes established, firm, and revealed.  When we reach this level of maturity, the things that are being withheld of the purposes of GOD in the earth, will come forth for HIS Glory.

It is essential that we step into identity and one of the clearest ways is to pray for those who oppose us.

Again, Jesus directed us in Matthew chapter 5:

44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

When we pray earnestly in this manner, we are truly Sons and Daughters of Our Heavenly Father.  The world would have us do the opposite thus keeping us in bondage.

There are realms in GOD, in the manifestation of Presence in the Kingdom of power; there are realms that HE has withheld from the earth, only willing to release them upon a people manifested as Sons and Daughters of GOD.

When we come before THE LORD in Holy Communion, acknowledging what HE paid for you and me, we move toward a greater state of maturity.  My wife and I now take Communion daily, even on trips.

If we are to expect breakthroughs, we must pray effectively according to The Word.

The Effective Prayer Life

Friday, September 26th, 2025

What does prayer do?

Prayer makes unseen things that are actually more real than what is visible.  When we pray, we are drawing on a strength that is superior to everything else we could possibly accomplish or access.  Prayerfulness unclutters the eyes to see what is real.

Those who have been focused on cleansing the soul are in a position for a more effective prayer life.  The world wants you focused elsewhere.  FATHER will sustain us no matter what is happening in the world right now.  HE will navigate us through every situation that confronts us.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of Your Father in Heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

What would have happened if Jesus would have cursed those who persecuted Him?  They would have been dead within 24 hours, similar to the fig tree.  We are to pray FOR them who spitefully use us and persecute us.  He is addressing those who are born again to rise up to be sons and daughters that have been “perfected” in their walk.

When you exercise your right to come before THE ALMIGHTY GOD and use the opportunity to pray on behalf of someone who has opposed you, it is made clear in the entire spirit realm that you are a child of GOD.

You are using your authority to come before a Perfect Father and pray on behalf of someone who has opposed you.  Your identity in Christ becomes manifest.

Jesus also emphasized and spoke in Luke chapter

6: “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies and do something wonderful for them in return for their hatred.

28 When someone curses you, bless that person in return. When others mistreat and harass you, accept it as your mission to pray for them.

29 To those who despise you, continue to serve them and minister to them. If someone takes away your coat, give him as a gift your shirt as well.

30 When someone comes to beg from you, give to that person what you have. When things are wrongly taken from you, do not demand they be given back.

31 The way you want others to treat you is how you should treat everyone else.

35 Rather love your enemies and continue to treat them well. When you lend money, don’t despair if you are never paid back, for it is not lost. You will receive a rich reward and you will be known as true children of the Most High God, having His same Nature.

Be like Your Father Who is famous for His kindness to heal even the thankless and cruel.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing (unveiling the glory of Jesus Christ) of the Sons of God.

20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;

21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious (unveiling and) liberty of the children of God.

When I can truly say, “As He is, so am I”, I will be unveiling His glory to people around me.  I must pray as Jesus directed.

Kids In Need Update

Another Testimony:

We had a meeting with a parent yesterday. One of the issues we discussed was that we have recently been having an issue keeping the his shoes on- a lot of this is due to shoes not fitting him properly because of medical braces (AFOs) that he has to wear. This causes him to run around his classroom and the school with nothing but socks on. His mom is trying so hard to get her feet back on the ground, but there have been a lot of set-backs. Most recently, the child has had some significant health issues causing her to have to miss quite a bit of work to stay home with him. In his meeting yesterday, we discussed getting him adaptive shoes that are designed to be worn with his AFOs. The student’s physical therapist was in here and knew that Target sells the type of shoes that would work for him. We were able to get online and let the PT and the student’s mom pick out some shoes for him and get them ordered for them.

Thank you so much for giving US the gift of being able to meet a big need on the spot!

Pray!

Pray without ceasing!

Prayerlessness causes you to deal with circumstances you never should have faced.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 22:

45 When Jesus finished praying, He got up and went to His disciples and found them all asleep, for they were exhausted and overwhelmed with sorrow.

46 “Why are you sleeping?” He asked them. “You need to be alert and pray for the strength to endure the great temptation.”

Jesus found it necessary to pray, we should too.  The disciples failed to pray and did not have the strength to endure what was about to take place.

Prayerlessness robs us of creativity, strength, discernment, and Wisdom from Above.  It robs us of who we are in Christ.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

43 “Your ancestors have also been taught ‘Love your neighbors and hate the one who hates you.’

44 However, I say to you, love your enemy, bless the one who curses you, do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them.

45 For that will reveal your identity as children of Your Heavenly Father. He is kind to all by bringing the sunrise to warm and rainfall to refresh whether a person does what is good or evil.

46 What reward do you deserve if you only love the loveable? Don’t even the tax collectors do that?

47 How are you any different from others if you limit your kindness only to your friends? Don’t even the ungodly do that?

48 Since you are children of a Perfect Father in Heaven, become perfect like Him.”

Are we complaining about our enemy or are we praying for those who have wronged us?  I must admit that in the past I have complained about those who have been unjust toward me or my family, whether it be personal, political, or social in nature.  I have had to repent for those words that have been unrighteous.  Complaining is a form of cursing someone.

Jesus also spoke in Mark chapter 11:

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

25 And whenever you stand praying, if you find that you carry something in your heart against another person, release him and forgive him so that your Father in Heaven will also release you and forgive you of your faults.

26 But if you will not release forgiveness, don’t expect your Father in Heaven to release you from your misdeeds.”

Most of us have focused on verses 23 and 24 of these Words of Jesus.  However, they are conditional on our willingness to forgive and release others who have wronged us.  If we retain unforgiveness in our hearts for anyone, we cannot expect our prayers of faith to be fulfilled.

Jesus prayed often and so should we.  Praying daily and in the morning prepares you for the day at hand.

Our Words

Wednesday, September 24th, 2025

What words we speak are vital to our future!

We must carefully watch over our words for in them is contained life or death.

Wisdom speaks in Proverbs chapter 18:

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

In other Words, your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 11:

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

You don’t go talk to GOD about your mountain; you talk to the mountain about GOD.

You speak to your problem, and you say to it, such as an inanimate object such as pain, depart in the Name of Jesus!  You must not doubt in your heart for your faith to operate in such an effective manner.

How do you develop to such a level of faith?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 10:

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Faith grows as you immerse yourself in the Word.  If you focus on what the world says, your faith will become diluted and ultimately become of none effect, you will become void of The Word.

Jesus enlightened us as He spoke concerning the parable of the sower in Mark chapter 4:

13 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?

14 The sower sows the Word.

15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the Word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the Word that was sown in their hearts.

16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the Word, immediately receive It with gladness;

17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the Word’s sake, immediately they stumble.

18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the Word,

19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the Word, and It becomes unfruitful.

20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the Word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

When you focus on the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things, you become unfruitful.  It is your decision on what you allow yourself to watch and hear.

I urged you to participate in the 30-day soul cleanse to remove worldly seeds that have been planted in the past.  Each of us determines the level of faith we want to walk in, and what impact we want to make through our words in our daily lives.

Who Is FATHER Seeking?

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025

Is FATHER seeking you?

FATHER is seeking those who have a true heart for HIM.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 4:

23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth.”

How many people offer worship in lip service only?  True worship requires not only words but actions as well.

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 14:

24 But the disciples, who were now in the middle of the lake, ran into trouble, for their boat was tossed about by the high winds and heavy seas.

25 At about four o’clock in the morning, Jesus came to them, walking on the waves!

26 When the disciples saw Him walking on top of the water, they were terrified and screamed, “A ghost!”

27 Then Jesus said, “Be brave and don’t be afraid. I am here!”

28 Peter shouted out, “Lord, if it’s really You, then have me join You on the water!”

29 “Come and join Me,” Jesus replied. So Peter stepped out onto the water and began to walk toward Jesus.

30 But when he realized how high the waves were, he became frightened and started to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he cried out.

31 Jesus immediately stretched out His Hand and lifted him up and said, “What little faith you have! Why would you let doubt win?”

32 And the very moment they both stepped into the boat, the raging wind ceased. 33 Then all the disciples bowed down before Him and worshiped Jesus. They said in adoration, “You are truly the Son of God!”

Here, the word worship denotes three aspects: to bow, to kiss, and to pay homage… all three are included in this verse.

To pay homage means to show deep respect, admiration, and honor to someone or something, often publicly, by offering tribute through actions or words. It’s a way to acknowledge someone’s significance, achievements, or influence.

Are we truly paying homage to Jesus in our words and actions?  Recently, I urged the readers to purge their souls for thirty days.  Peter speaks of the purifying of our souls.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Peter chapter 1:

22 Now, because of your obedience to the Truth, you have purified your very souls, and this empowers you to be full of Love for your fellow believers. So express this sincere Love toward one another passionately and with a pure heart.

When we focus on walking with a pure heart, we worship Our Heavenly Father by our actions.  What is the result?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

Do you honor and worship GOD with your tithes and offerings?  When we do, we acknowledge HIS supremacy over our lives and finances.  In turn, this allows FATHER to fulfill HIS Covenant of blessing over our lives.

Jesus spoke this Truth in Luke chapter 6:

38 Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! The measurement of your generosity becomes the measurement of your return.”

My wife and I can testify of this Truth!

Do you qualify as a true worshipper if you don’t offer tithes and/or offerings to HIM?  Ask HIM.

Understanding The End Time Mystery of Trumpets
