Forget The Past

Tuesday, July 31st, 2018

Our Beloved Brother Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Philippians chapter 3:

12  Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own.

13  Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,

14  I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

15  All of us who are mature [pursuing spiritual perfection] should have this attitude. And if in any respect you have a different attitude, that too God will make clear to you.

16  Only let us stay true to what we have already attained.  AMPL

This passage is critical for us to embrace as Paul did in his life.  WE MUST LET OUR PAST GO!  It is no longer relevant to those who have been redeemed by the Blood of The Lamb.  Many of us have had to forgive those in the past who have negatively impacted our lives.  Those deep-seated hurts have been like heavy weights keeping us from ascending higher.  As we forgive because of our revelation of unconditional Love, those weights are cut away and we are no longer held down by our past.

Some have been hurt by parents’ words and actions.  Those events are often walled up in our hearts so that the pain is encapsulated in order to protect our consciousness.  We must bust down those walls and remove those events by means of expressing our forgiveness.  When can speak forgiveness to those even though they may have physically passed away.  As we vocally express our forgiveness, we release the past and the associated pain.  It matters not if the other person changes even though it is our hope that they do.  When we forgive, it changes us!

As we remove those weights, we can focus on the “now” and reach forward to what lies ahead, our upward call of our purpose.  Paul notes that as who have matured will have this attitude in our pursuit of spiritual perfection.  Those who have yet embraced this revelation will receive it as FATHER makes it clear.  Let us not keep revisiting the past for it only serves to draw our focus away from the present.  Paul also wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

17  Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

We too have done harm in the past but we are no longer that old “man” for we have been reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit.  Let us ask to be forgiven as is applicable and move on.  Some will accept our apologies and some will not.  If those we have wronged don’t accept our apology, it is now their problem, not ours.  Jesus clearly stated in Matthew chapter 6:

14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

Forgiveness is the cornerstone of moving forward in life.  It allows people to forget the past and move on toward maturity.  Let’s deal with the past once and for all so that we can fulfill our purpose!

Seeing Faith

Monday, July 30th, 2018

By THE SPIRIT, it is written in Hebrews chapter 11:

27 By faith he (Moses) forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.

28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.

Moses was used mightily by FATHER to deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt because he acted on faith in GOD.  He heard The Word and acted upon It and when the angel saw the faith of the Israelites during the first Passover, the angel honored their faith and did not destroy their firstborn.

In Luke chapter 24, Jesus spoke:

46 Then He (Jesus) said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And you are witnesses of these things.

49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

By faith, the disciples did as Jesus instructed and were rewarded in doing so.  They saw Jesus’ faith when He submitted to the cross for the benefit of mankind.  They saw an empty tomb which reaffirmed their faith in the Words of Jesus and then He appeared to them and spoke to them in the above passage.  Then they acted on their faith and proceeded to Jerusalem and because of their faith, they continually praised and blessed GOD:

50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.

51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.

52 And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

53 and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.

Their praise occurred before the manifestation of the Day of Pentecost.  The disciples’ faith saw the coming of the Comforter in THE SPIRIT before the manifestation.  Shouldn’t we praise and bless Our Heavenly Father for the fulfillment of the feast of Tabernacles prior to its manifestation?  Are we able to see by faith its full impartation?  Does FATHER see your and my faith, expecting to be endued with power from On High?  Let us set our expectation of being fully matured Sons and Daughters as we continue to praise and bless Our Heavenly Father for bringing forth the fullness of anointing into manifestation.  The past is the past so let it stay there and do not live in it any longer.  Now is the time for our faith to express the expectation of full maturity coming forth and rising up within us.  We are enduring the current circumstance as we are seeing HIM Who is invisible bring forth the fullness to those of us willing to see by faith.

Prophetic Fruit

Sunday, July 29th, 2018

Mark Taylor, a retired firefighter (like my friend Kemper), prophesied of Donald Trump’s election before Donald Trump announced his candidacy.  This prophecy produced its intended fruit.  There are other prophetic words which are now coming to pass.  As Mark says, GOD does not tell him when or how these prophecies are going to come to pass.  Yes, Mark has opinions about the prophecies’ implications, but let us focus on the prophecies and allow him to give his commentary based on his current understanding.  The following interview provides us with some of those prophetic words:

As always, we are to be fruit inspectors.

A Warning

Saturday, July 28th, 2018

By THE SPIRIT, Jeremiah recorded the WORD of GOD to warn both those who prophesy:

25 “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ 26 How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, 27 who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.

28 “The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream;

And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully.

What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the LORD.

29 “Is not My word like a fire?” says the LORD,

“And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

30 “Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says the LORD, “who steal My words every one from his neighbor. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets,” says the LORD, “who use their tongues and say, ‘He says.’ 32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” says the LORD, “and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all,” says the LORD.

33 “So when these people or the prophet or the priest ask you, saying, ‘What is the oracle of the LORD?’ you shall then say to them, ‘What oracle?’ I will even forsake you,” says the LORD. 34 “And as for the prophet and the priest and the people who say, ‘The oracle of the LORD!’ I will even punish that man and his house. 35 Thus every one of you shall say to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, ‘What has the LORD answered?’ and, ‘What has the LORD spoken?’ 36 And the oracle of the LORD you shall mention no more. For every man’s word will be his oracle, for you have perverted the words of the living God, the LORD of hosts, our God. 37 Thus you shall say to the prophet, ‘What has the LORD answered you?’ and, ‘What has the LORD spoken?’ 38 But since you say, ‘The oracle of the LORD!’ therefore thus says the LORD: ‘Because you say this word, “The oracle of the LORD!” and I have sent to you, saying, “Do not say, ‘The oracle of the LORD!’ ” 39 therefore behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you and forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and will cast you out of My presence. 40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.’ ”

When men pervert the Words of Our Heavenly Father, they subject themselves to judgment.  Those who listen and rely on their words, will begin to see less fruit in their own lives… even no fruit.  Their callings will become unproductive due to their reliance on the false prophet’s words.  Does a Word filled with 90% Truth and 10% error produced good fruit?  No.  We are to live by the pure Word of GOD, not tainted by man’s bias and ego.

In the past, I unknowingly have been swayed by the words of false prophets and caused myself much grief as a result.  Their words seem to be true but were hard for me to confirm because of their complexity surrounded by “facts”.  They appealed to my ego thus I more readily accepted them as Truth.  Didn’t the same thing happen to Adam and Eve?  This is why I advocate each of us pursuing the revelation of Love and being led by The Holy Spirit so that we know FATHER’S Voice and we know HE will guide us unto all Truth.  HE will confirm HIS Word given to us by those who claim to prophesy of future events.

People tend to have short memories when it comes to unfulfilled prophetic Words.  People who don’t know the Word will readily embrace a prophecy if it appeals to their soulish man.  Others will hear the prophecy and will disregard The Holy Spirit’s warning.  Let us no longer be taken in and have our focus redirected from the pure Word.  As we grow closer to FATHER, we will be able to discern whether men’s and women’s prophecies are true or false.  FATHER will judge the false prophets thus we should steer clear of them and should not be surprised when judgment arrives for HE will cast them out of HIS Presence.

Fully Embracing HIS SPIRIT

Thursday, July 26th, 2018

Isaiah wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 11:

1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,

And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,

The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

The Spirit of counsel and might,

The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Jesus transitioned us from the external to the internal when He went to FATHER and sent The Holy Spirit.  Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 24:

49 “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

Are we willing to accept the same promise as the disciples?  We have been lulled into believing that there is something further required to be sent on some future date in order for us to walk in HIS power and authority.  If The Holy Spirit resides on the inside of us, shouldn’t we come to expect the fullness of HIS SPIRIT’S operation to come forth at some point within us?  Do we dare to believe we have within us everything we need in order to arise into full maturity as Sons and Daughters of THE MOST HIGH GOD?

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 1:

20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,

22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee (an earnest).

An earnest is: a pledge, i.e. part of the purchase-money or property given in advance as security for the rest.  I have heard this passage preached many times that we only received a portion of The Holy Spirit versus that which Jesus walked in, as though we are incomplete.  Yet Jesus proclaimed we would do greater things than Him because He goes to THE FATHER.  The earnest or guarantee is as a seed which must be watered with the Word and will grow stronger within us.  We have a sufficiency in having The Holy Spirit in us so that the Kingdom will grow within us until we are fully mature and walk according to FATHER’S Word and expectation.

Our biggest hindrance is our mind in its orientation to scarcity and low expectations.  We need to no longer restrict our expectations and allow The Holy Spirit full reign within us.  We should expect The Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into the fullness of walking in THE SPIRIT.  As we do, we will improve our ability to hear FATHER’S Voice and directives.  As this occurs, peace will prevail in all our thoughts and actions though there may be chaos all around us.  Anxiety will depart and depression will not be found among us.  We will no longer be moved by evil reports because we know Our Provider and Healer will prevail over our situation.  Let us full embrace HIS SPIRIT for FATHER has established us in Christ and has anointed us to fulfill HIS Divine Intent.  Now is the time to expect the anointing to come forth.

The Spirit Of Counsel

Wednesday, July 25th, 2018

Isaiah wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 11:

1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,

And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,

The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

The Spirit of counsel and might,

The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

The Hebrew word `etsah means: counsel, advice, purpose.  I learned a long time ago to seek counsel from those I deemed “experts” in their field.  I submit to the counsel of my CPA when he completes my tax return and I do not challenge his classifying and handling of the various transactions reported.  I submit to his anointing and purpose.  My expertise in economics, finance, and information technology was obtained specifically by FATHER’S directives.  FATHER directed me to every job I have had since 1972.  As it turns out, HIS Wisdom saved me heartache in looking back at those companies I left.  Little did I know that eventually they would either downsize and close local offices or sell to another entity.  In every case, I had a positive impact on the company or division because of FATHER’S anointing on me.  Clearly, I give FATHER the credit for those successes.  I have learned to give advice in the area of my anointing and direct the individual elsewhere when my anointing does not apply to their situation.

When we are anointed, our counsel is superior to those whose purpose and anointing are not applicable to the situation.  Do you ask an attorney for counsel concerning a tax question?  Do you ask an IT professional for advice about how to add an addition to your house?  Do you ask one who is called to be a teacher of Scripture advice concerning an International investment?

As we become mature as Sons and Daughters of GOD, we will know when to give advice and counsel according to our purpose and not allow the ego to advise others because of its desire to exalt itself in the other person’s eyes.  I have seen many instances in the past when people seek the advice of someone who is anointed in an area which is not applicable to the issue at hand.  How many of us have a file of bad investments or decisions from the past where we listened to someone who had no business advising us.  Their pride and arrogance rose up and convinced us to act on their unfounded assurance that the advice was sound.  Their advice turned out to be fruitless causing us to suffer loss.

The best counselor is The Holy Spirit.  FATHER’S Wisdom expressed by HIS SPIRIT spoke in Proverbs chapter 8:

12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion.

13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.

14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.

Let us be fully sensitive to The Holy Spirit in all matters affecting our decisions.  As I look back, when I submitted to The Holy Spirit’s direction, I was successful.  Other times when I suffered loss, my ego was the source of the poor decision.  Let the Spirit of counsel rise up and be fully activated in us as we come into full maturity.  The fruit will attest to this reality.

Properly Setting Our Expectation

Tuesday, July 24th, 2018

The “spirit of might” is one of the seven spirits of God resting upon the sons of God.  Isaiah spoke by THE SPIRIT in Isaiah chapter 11:

1 “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of His roots:

and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord”

The seven spirits of God rested first upon Jesus, the Head of the many-membered body of Christ, and it is from Him that all the sons of God receive this anointing.  John wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 2:

27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

The Spirit of Might which belongs to the sons of God is the Spirit of Jesus, for He upon whom the sevenfold Spirit first rested is called THE MIGHTY GOD.  Isaiah revealed this Truth in chapter 9:

6 For unto us a Child is born,

Unto us a Son is given;

And the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called

Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

It is only “in Him” that one can become mighty!  There is a glorious company of people, who along with Jesus the Mighty God, is termed “the Mighty.”  Asaph, the song and praise leader of Israel, prophesied of this company as he wrote in Psalm 82:

1 God standeth in the CONGREGATION OF THE MIGHTY; He judgeth among the gods.”

6  “I have said, YE ARE GODS; and all of you are THE CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH

This company of “the Mighty” in whose midst God stands is none else but those who are “in Christ” who is “the Mighty God” and are thus “strong in the Lord” and “in the power of HIS MIGHT.”  And the Word of the Lord through Asaph declared plainly that “the Mighty” are, every one of them, the sons of the most High, truly, the manifest sons of God.

To be included in the group known as the Remnant, we must shed the old man’s history for we are a new creation, old things past away.  We must embrace the anointing the has been at least partially dormant within us.  This anointing must become fully operational in us for us to walk in the spirit of might along with the other six characteristics of Christ’s anointing.  Those of us who are drawn to this fullness will not be denied and so let us set our gaze on walking in this fullness.  We care not about past failures and weaknesses for we will no longer be subject to the old man in any shape or form.  The spirit of might is one quality we should expect as we enter into the fullness of the anointing of Christ so don’t be surprised as this spiritual quality rises up and comes forth in our words and actions.

Corresponding Action Required

Monday, July 23rd, 2018

By THE SPIRIT, James wrote in chapter 2:

14  What is the benefit, my fellow believers, if someone claims to have faith but has no [good] works [as evidence]? Can that [kind of] faith save him? [No, a mere claim of faith is not sufficient—genuine faith produces good works.]

15   If a brother or sister is without [adequate] clothing and lacks [enough] food for each day,

16  and one of you says to them, “Go in peace [with my blessing], [keep] warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do?

17  So too, faith, if it does not have works [to back it up], is by itself dead [inoperative and ineffective].

Consistent, corresponding action is required to walk in faith.  As we exercise consistent faith in the Word given to us by Our Heavenly Father, the manifestation of our expectation will occur.  FATHER is not obligated to respond to unbelief or self-centered requests but HE watches over HIS Word to perform it.  Self-centeredness often revolves around money since it can perpetuate self-gratification in its various forms.  FATHER is not opposed to giving you the desires of your heart (including finances) as long as those desires don’t promote corruption and draw you away from HIM.  It is up to each of us to know HIS Word in the area of our need so that we ask accordingly.

It is FATHER’S Will to heal us if we are sick.  Every person, rich or poor, is subject to sickness and disease so we should not disregard HIS Word in this area.  We should equip ourselves to pray for those who are sick when the situation presents itself.  If we are reluctant to pray, it is an indication of our lack of faith in HIS Word concerning HIS willingness to heal all.  We should not allow a person’s unbelief as a deterrent to our willingness to pray for we are to be a light unto the world.

Faith becomes ineffective if we do not have corresponding works to back it up.  We must not allow ourselves to become discouraged and give up while we wait for the manifestation of faith to occur.  We must have or develop the tenacity to continue in our unaltered expectation for the manifestation of our faith to occur.  We are to act according to the expected result and not be moved by any perceived delay.  FATHER always responds “just in time”.

When FATHER speaks to me, I fully trust HIS Word and take corresponding actions.  By faith, I expect HIM to speak to me because I fully believe HIS Word.  There are times when HE is silent concerning a situation but I am not moved by that silence.  I simply wait on HIM and quiet my soul until HE speaks.  If HE directs me to take action even though it defies my understanding and logic, I simply respond to HIS Word and know that HE will tell me the “why” later.

We must be careful when it comes to our relationships with others.  If they are consistently promoting unbelief and walking according to the ways of the world, they will negatively impact us as we are exercising our faith prior to physical manifestation.  When Noah was building the ark, the multitudes were constantly challenging his faith and were ridiculing him.  He did not embrace their blindness and as a result, he fulfilled his purpose.  Abraham gave glory to Our Heavenly Father in spite of the fact that both he and Sarah were old and beyond the normal child-bearing years.

In Acts chapter 5, the apostles were not moved by being in jail because they had faith that FATHER would deliver them so they could fulfill their commission to preach the Gospel:

19 But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said,

20 “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life [the eternal life revealed by Christ and found through faith in Him].”

21 And when they heard that, they entered the temple early in the morning and taught. But the high priest and those with him came and called the council together, with all the elders of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

22 But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported,

23 saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

24 Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these things, they wondered what the outcome would be.

25 So one came and told them, saying, “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!”

The apostles’ faith caused them to be unafraid of the high priest and elders.  They simply walked in faith expecting FATHER to deliver them from harm.  Their faith in what they heard, caused corresponding actions and they continued to preach in public without concern of being locked up again.  Be assured that they asked FATHER to free them from their bondage so that they could continue to walk according to their purpose.  HE sent HIS Word by HIS messenger as a result.  Shouldn’t we also expect FATHER to respond in the same manner on our behalf?
