What are the reasons for failure in Divine Healing?
Our Heavenly Father’s Divine intent is for us to always live in Divine health. Jesus was never sick as He walked out His earthly ministry. As joint heirs, we should attain that same level of Divine health.
Have I been sick? Yes, but it was not necessary. Have I walked in Divine health? Yes, but I have also yielded to sickness and disease due to being void of The Word.
In the early 1980’s, I was walking in Divine health for years and then suddenly came down with hepatitis from shellfish. I asked FATHER why? HE told me I was void of His Word in the area of healing. I had not studied the Scriptures on healing for some time. I repented and immediately immersed myself in those Scriptures. I supernaturally recovered. It was all about renewing my mind.
Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 17:
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
If we want a continued harvest in the area of Divine healing, we must continually plant the seed (The Word) concerning Divine healing. We shouldn’t expect to live on a single harvest in years to come.
Jesus also spoke in Mark chapter 7:
13 making the Word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”
Sacred Cow Definition: A Sacred Cow is a belief or tradition that is held regardless of the Truth, and one that keeps people in bondage and even allows sickness or death to be accepted, rather than change.
We have been inundated with pharmaceutical commercials promoting an alternative to healing. They would have us believe that our only solution is their product. They provide an “out” for the believer rather than trusting in The Word.
The only hindrance to healing Is that you believe there are hindrances to healing.
What The Bible Says About Divine Healing?
1. Divine healing is the right and responsibility of every Christian.
2. Any hindrance to the healing of any Christian is not of God.
3. Our Heavenly Father is not our problem; HE is our help.
4. Any hindrance to healing is on the part of the enemy.
5. Any sickness or disease can be overcome by a Christian if the Christian will exercise faith and power.
6. The enemy is not a serious hindrance and can be overcome by any Christian using the available tools and weapons provided by FATHER.
7. The enemy can only be truly defeated by spiritual weapons and not by carnal/natural weapons devised by man.
8. Christians and non-Christians, without faith for healing, can be healed when Christians exercise Kingdom authority.
9. All sickness and disease is a work of the enemy and is to be defeated whenever and wherever they are encountered.
FATHER’S solution to healing sickness and disease is through HIS mature Sons and Daughters. Jesus was our perfect Example and He called us to minister Divine healing throughout the world. We will focus on carrying out this aspect of the Great Commission in the coming days/weeks.
