HIS Manifested Presence

The Fear of THE LORD is the greatest force of confidence, comfort, and protection available to any being in the universe!

Holy Fear can be broken down into two major categories: To tremble in HIS Presence and to tremble at HIS Word.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 89:

7 You are a God Who is greatly to be feared as you preside over the council of Holy ones. You are surrounded by trembling ones who are overwhelmed with fear and dread, stunned as they stand in awe of you!

8 So awesome are You, O YAHWEH, Lord God of Angel Armies! Where could we find anyone as glorious as You? Your faithfulness shines all around You!

9 You rule over oceans and the swelling seas. When their stormy waves rise, You speak, and they lie still.

10 You crushed the strongholds of Egypt, and all Your enemies were scattered at the mighty display of Your glory-power.

11 All the heavens and everything on earth belong to You, for You are the Creator of all that is seen and unseen.

12 The four corners of the earth were put in place by you. You made the majestic mountains that are still shouting their praises to Your Name.

13 Breathtaking and Awesome is Your power! Astounding and unbelievable is Your might and strength when it goes on display!

14 Your glorious Throne rests on a foundation of righteousness and just verdicts. Grace and Truth are the attendants who go before You.

The phrase “You are surrounded by trembling ones who are overwhelmed with fear and dread, stunned as they stand in awe of you!” says it all when we are in HIS Presence.  I assure you that you will be trembling and unable to move in HIS Presence.  HE is greatly to be feared!  You will not find HIM where HE is not reverenced and feared.  There is such a casualness found in most church services; it is no wonder that HIS Presence is not in attendance.

I am not referring to HIS Omnipresence as found in Psalm 139:

7 Where could I go from Your Spirit? Where could I run and hide from Your Face?

8 If I go up to heaven, You’re there! If I go down to the realm of the dead, You’re there too!

9 If I fly with wings into the shining dawn, You’re there! If I fly into the radiant sunset, You’re there waiting!

10 Wherever I go, Your Hand will guide me; your strength will empower me.

11 It’s impossible to disappear from You or to ask the darkness to hide me, for Your Presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night.

As HE said in Hebrews chapter 13:5 For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

I am referring to HIS Manifest Presence.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 14:

21 Those who truly Love Me are those who obey My commands. Whoever passionately Loves me will be passionately Loved by My Father. And I will passionately Love him in return and will reveal (manifest) Myself to him.”

The word manifest means: to show one’s self, come to view, appear, be manifest.

In the Book of Daniel, we find an excellent example of coming into the Manifested Presence of THE LORD through HIS angel in chapter 10:

9 As soon as the angel began to speak to me, I fell unconscious with my face to the ground, as in a coma.

10 Then I felt a powerful hand grip me and help me to my hands and knees. I was trembling with fear!

11 He said, “Daniel, you are greatly Loved and a precious treasure to God. Now, stand up and understand the Words that I am about to say, for God has sent me to you.” So, I rose to my feet, still shaking like a leaf.

12 He reassured me by saying, “Daniel, don’t be afraid, for I have come to bring to you the answer to your prayer. From the first day you sought to understand the revelation and humbled yourself before God, your words were heard in Heaven.

If Daniel who is greatly Loved responded in fear and trembling, we should expect the same when the manifested Presence of GOD comes, even if HE sends one of HIS angels from the Throne Room.

Continuing with Daniel’s response:

15 Upon hearing these Words, I bowed facedown and was left speechless.

16 Then suddenly, One who looked like a man touched my lips, and I was finally able to speak. So, I said to the one standing in front of me, “My lord, this vision has left me overcome, undone, and overwhelmed. I feel totally weak and helpless.

17 My lord, how can I, your servant, even talk to you? I have no strength, and I can barely catch my breath!”

18 Once again, the one who looked like a man gripped me and imparted strength to me.

19 He said to me, “Be strong! Be very, very strong! Do not be afraid, for you are greatly Loved and a precious treasure to God. God’s peace is yours.” As he spoke those words, I felt strength pour into me, and I said, “Now, I’m ready to listen to you, my lord, for you have given me strength.”

Those who truly walk in The Fear of THE LORD are also greatly Loved and are precious treasures to GOD.
