Your lifestyle should reflect that Jesus Christ is in charge!
Each of us has a Promised land specific to our individual callings. What is preventing us from entering in? Trust. Trust is firm belief in the reliability, Truth, ability, and strength of The Lord God Almighty. You look nowhere else for your guidance and protection.
The children of Israel who left Egypt, a picture of sin, except for two, did not learn their lesson. The wilderness was one of great difficulty and challenges. They had to trust GOD every day for manna on the ground. This was an ongoing miracle that GOD trained them with in the wilderness. HE intended for them to trust HIS Word.
The daily provision of manna was not the Promised Land, it was the training for the Promised Land. They ate manna for over 14,400 days. You would think that they developed trust in THE LORD. They didn’t but their children did.
Character is the container that blessing is to rest in, and it doesn’t leak out!
When others succeed, do you rejoice or are you envious? What comes forth reveals your character. Character holds the blessing that the LORD would like to put on our life.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 5:
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through Whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the Love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit Who was given to us.
Trials and testing develop our character.
Paul commended Timothy as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 2:
19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your state.
20 For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state.
21 For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus.
22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the Gospel.
23 Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it goes with me.
Because of Timothy’s proven character, Paul trusted him by sending him to the Philippian church. Timothy was found to be trustworthy.
FATHER is always preparing us for greater breakthrough. GOD disciplines us so HIS blessings won’t kill us. If you improperly handle increased anointing, it will result in pride. That is why many cannot handle greater financial wealth. They will begin to believe that they are entitled and special.
Wisdom spoke in Proverbs chapter 16:
18 Your boast becomes a prophecy of a future failure. The higher you lift yourself up in pride, the harder you’ll fall in disgrace.
19 It’s better to be meek and lowly and live among the poor than to live high and mighty among the rich and famous.
20 One skilled in business discovers prosperity, but the one who trusts in God is blessed beyond belief!
Can we navigate greater recognition by others when our fruitfulness increases? Will we remain humble? Increased anointing gives us more access to pride, arrogance, independence, and other things that are dangerous to us.
Our character needs to be proven so that we will successfully navigate through the challenges of a greater anointing. Can you be entrusted and truly reflect Jesus Christ in a greater anointing? Our words and actions should reflect the Jesus is in charge!
