I have a history with Roberts Liardon dating back to the early 1990’s. I had listened to many of his audio cassette tapes. His ministry office was in Minneapolis. I had a business trip to the area, and I enquired about where he went to church himself. I went there on Sunday morning and met only one person out of five hundred attendees, a prophet. Later, through this prophet, I met a second prophet, Martin Paulat, a well-known prophet. He prophesied to me on multiple occasions, and they all came to pass.
Since then, I have been contemplating the following passage:
Isaiah 45:
1 “Thus says the LORD to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held– To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut:
2 ‘I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.
3 I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.
The name Cyrus means: “possess thou the furnace”; the king of Persia and conqueror of Babylon; first ruler of Persia to make a decree allowing the Israelite exiles to return to Jerusalem. Cyrus was a heathen king used by GOD.
