Celebrating Christ

Christmas is the day we celebrate GOD’S Will for this earth!

What is GOD’S Will for this earth?

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 11:

1 Now it came to pass, as Jesus was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”

2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our Father in Heaven,

Hallowed be Your Name.

Your Kingdom come.

Your Will be done

On earth as it is in Heaven.

3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

4 And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.

And do not lead us into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.”

We celebrate the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Christ-mas day.  This was the beginning point of GOD’S Kingdom coming to the earth.  After Jesus’ earthly ministry, He sent The Holy Spirit to continue GOD’S Will for the earth and HIS Kingdom continues to expand daily.

FATHER intends for us to be directly involved in bringing forth HIS Kingdom as we mature and prove the Will of GOD to the unsaved.  How do we proceed?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect Will of God.

How did Jesus prove what the Will of GOD was?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 11:

1 Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities.

2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples

3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

Jesus proved the Will of GOD in His response:

4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:

5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the Gospel preached to them.

We are also called to “prove” the Will of GOD.  The ultimate celebration of Christ is to fulfill His Great Commission.  Let us light up the world!
