Where Do You Place Your Faith?

Everyone has faith but the question is where is their faith directed?  Is it in the government, the church, the medical profession, yourself, money, or the Creator of Heaven and earth?  In Mark chapter 11, Jesus said:

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God”.

How do we build up our faith in FATHER?  By pursuing a direct relationship WITH HIM and placing our focus ON HIM to the point we realize we are IN HIM.  As you pursue this course, HE will reveal HIMSELF to you and ultimately will work through you.  Jesus goes on to say:

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

What a bold statement yet it is absolutely true for Jesus proved it by His fruit.  We too are called to produce fruit in like manner as we become pure in purpose.  These writings are intended to encourage you to ascend into full maturity and walk as Jesus walked.  He is our example.  Now is the time to resolve in yourself to make this your highest priority.  John wrote in his first epistle, chapter 4:

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

19 We love Him because He first loved us.

The day of judgment is forthcoming and we must be prepared.  Money will not protect you or provide the answer.  Your government is made up of people and none of them have the answer.  Only FATHER has the answers to sustain us in what lies ahead.  In Hebrews chapter 13:

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

We should trust in the words Jesus spoke and not place our trust in man.  Jesus produced good fruit that His disciples were able to observe thus confirming FATHER’S Word to mankind.  There has been no other person who has walked the earth that could claim to have impacted mankind in a similar fashion.  The fact the I have been miraculously healed, pulled away from certain death along with other such events is sufficient evidence that what I am proclaiming is true.  There is sufficient fruit to confirm HIS Word.

I expect we will soon see that those who trust in money will suffer extreme disappointment.  I saw a lady on the airplane yesterday check the stock market the moment we landed.  It is obvious where her trust lies.  She wore a “Siesta Key” beach shirt where a tornado went through at 3 AM Sunday morning, one of four in the area.  I guess the number one beach in the U.S. is not truly a place of “rest”.

FATHER has instructed me to take various actions according to HIS Word specifically to me.  I fully trust IN HIM thus I respond accordingly.  As I do, HE confirms HIS Word to me by various events that cannot be called coincidence.  Last week HE directed me to cut down the “groves” which I did.  HE told me what the cost would be and that is the exact amount of the bid.  The counterfeit came first and I knew it wasn’t the path to take.  Faith and obedience go hand in hand thus when HE instructs you to do something just do it!  When HE says to cut down and remove the idols, don’t delay.  HE alone is worthy of our attention and focus.

I find people with money tend to have the greatest difficulty in parting with their money thus that tells me where their faith lies.  Jesus knew it when the rich young ruler approached Him in Matthew 19:

21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Where, what, or with whom do you place your faith?
