Today’s Online Bible Study Broadcast: Raising the Remnant

Sunday, November 24th, 2013

At 3 PM Central Time (CST) we will have our next Bible Study live on the Internet. Servias Ministries offers this to allow our brothers and sisters around the world to pursue the most important characteristic of Our Heavenly Father with us. HIS Love is the primary motivation in which all of creation is framed. All aspects of understanding the depth of Scripture require us to view revelation from a standpoint of Love.

Notify your friends of our Bible Study and give them an opportunity to join us. As the Revelation of Love expands our the globe, people’s lives will be transformed.

This week we will continue our study that follows Kemper Ditzler’s new book: "Raising the Remnant".  We will again continue in chapter 1 in this broadcast.  We made it to page 3 last week!

Present Yourself

Tuesday, November 19th, 2013

Paul urges us in Romans 6:

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

We have the responsibility to stay away from sin.  We do not have to submit to lusts.  Its our choice.  Worst case, do nothing until you have received guidance from Scripture to begin a walk in righteousness.  It is clear that Paul states we have a choice in the matter and we are not destined to be vessels of dishonor.  It is our decision whether or not we present ourselves as instruments of righteousness to Our Heavenly Father.

An instrument has a specific purpose for one who knows how to use it.  Tools in a craftsman’s hands produce a superior result.  We should expect Our Heavenly Father to use us as HIS instruments on this earth and create a result second to none.

How do we know if there is an unresolved issue in our life?  As we study HIS Word, those subtle issues of the ego surface with some conviction.

Hebrews 6 explains the importance of Scripture:

12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Our Heavenly Father’s Words are full of life and power and are given to us by Love.  Who better to open our eyes to our unrighteousness than a Father who loves us!  We are not isolated and distanced from HIS presence.  HE is not in some distant galaxy but HE is THE discerner of your thoughts and intents.  We will all give account of our thoughts and intents.  Those who are quick to seek mercy and HIS grace will find their correction to be more tolerable.  Either way, an accounting will occur.

My advice: Take your pain early.  Our Lord Jesus Christ understands our challenges and He is our example to follow.  You have not been subjected to any temptation greater than what He was exposed to and overcame.  The throne of grace is for our use in our time of need:

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

As we are transformed from vessels of dishonor to vessels of honor, we will become instruments of Our Heavenly  Father as HE establishes HIS Kingdom on earth, as it is in Heaven.  We should not expect to simply be observers as this manifestation comes to pass, but instead be squarely in the middle of what HE is doing on earth.  But first, we must present ourselves.  Those who do this are members of the Remnant.

Remnant 2 Parts A, B, C

Monday, November 18th, 2013

Yesterday’s Bible Study had some technical challenges.  The connection was dropped a couple of times but we were able to restart it.  I have noticed there has been a high level of spiritual activity recently.  This typically precedes a major revelation and I trust we are a part of this big picture.  Jezebel’s spirit has been attempting to corrupt the path to the greater revelation of Our Lord Jesus Christ.  This happened in earnest 16 years ago.  Once again we are aware of this spirit but with greater wisdom and understanding.

Do not be moved by the distractions that would prevent you from fully grasping the fullness of the revelation of the Baptism of Love.  I believe we are on the cusp of this unfolding mystery.  My wife’s sensitivity to the Spirit has been activated to a greater degree, just like it was in 1997.  Our maturity and seasoning will keep us “on point” and undeterred from breaking through to the next level of understanding awaiting those who will not be denied.

Remnant 1: Bible Study Note from Kemper

Monday, November 18th, 2013

At the last online bible study (Remnant 1) we started by reading the preface of the book. Isaiah 1:9 was read; ”Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.” This remnant preserves the Earth until the Day of The Lord, and is the salt (a preservative) referred to in Matt 5:13. The Father assembles the remnant with His call of grace. Paul says he was called from his motherʼs womb by the grace of God. Titus 2:11 states that the grace of God has appeared unto all men. Therefore all are called, but only a remnant respond.

Life is similar to a poker game with the Heavenly Father being the dealer. The cards are dealt to each one of us. Each of us have different hands based on the quality of the cards we hold. Each hand represents our lives. Some are dealt what we might consider good hands and others are dealt poor hands. On the surface we might think that the good hands are more desirable and reflect Godʼs favor, but thatʼs not so. We forget God is the dealer and He has a hand as well. Unbeknownst to us the Lord has a royal flush which cannot be beat. Those who have a poor hand are quicker to fold not needing to see the Lordʼs cards. Matt 5:3-6, “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Whereas those who hold a good hand, being pleased with the cards dealt to them, tend to hold out to the bitter end. In 1 Cr 1:26 it states, “For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.”

Once we fold our hand we are able to sit beside the Lord and watch the remainder of the game play out. Upon moving to His side, we that have folded begin to see His cards. His hand, being a royal flush, represents His love which never fails. The more of His cards we see, the more we encourage the other players to fold. Some fold believing our words, others scoff being pleased with the cards they hold.

As the hand continues to play out, we continue to see the Fatherʼs cards in fullness, and as we peer at His cards we begin to take on His nature. This can happen only because we folded the hand we were dealt (this is wisdom). We canʼt see His cards until we fold our own. This “seeing of the cards” is the understanding of His ways. The glory of His hand shows in our faces. As in 1 John 3:2 refers, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” The knowledge of the Father fills us with His nature. As His nature begins to manifest in our lives, the more convinced the other players become of the unbeatable hand of the Father, thus folding their hands as well and joining the remnant. Those that play out the hand to the end “go all in” depleting their soul. The remnant folded earlier, therefore their souls arenʼt totally depleted but are transformed by the renewing of their mind as they present their bodies Bible Study – Remnant 1 a living sacrifice. This sanctifies their soul and manifests the life of Christ in their flesh (Gal 2:20). This is needful so that the Fatherʼs hand can be revealed through them in the end for all to see. 2 Thes 1:7-10 speaks of this; “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe…” We that have already folded should have compassion on the unbelievers, as thereʼs no telling if we might have played out their cards any differently.

The Pool of Water

Monday, November 11th, 2013

Isaiah 41:

17 “The poor and needy seek water, but there is none,

Their tongues fail for thirst.

I, the LORD, will hear them;

I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

18 I will open rivers in desolate heights,

And fountains in the midst of the valleys;

I will make the wilderness a pool of water,

And the dry land springs of water.

19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree,

The myrtle and the oil tree;

I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine

And the box tree together,

20 That they may see and know,

And consider and understand together,

That the hand of the LORD has done this,

And the Holy One of Israel has created it.  NKJV

In our Bible Study yesterday, my wife was describing a vision given to her by Our Heavenly Father when she read page 1 of Kemper’s book.  However, we failed to fully explore its implications.  Her discussion of this began 20 minutes into yesterday’s study.  The vision revealed to her that “the wilderness” is our individual body.  As we partake of HIS Word, HIS Living Water starts flowing through our veins.  This Living Water makes it to our heart and begins to totally encompass our “arid” heart, changing it.  Once changed, we begin to be fruitful.  Our desert is no longer barren but will be productive by its new nature.  It is Our Heavenly Father Who plants the trees to enable us to be fruitful.  HE opens the rivers and fountains of Living Water.  The desolate heights could be seen as our minds.  The Remnant are the ones thirsting after HIM and HE responds by satisfying the thirst within us.

The cedar tree was used for purification. (wisdom)

The acacia tree was used to build the walls of the Tabernacle. (understanding)

The myrtle tree’s branches were used to “wave” during the Feast of Tabernacles.

The oil tree produced the oil for light. (revelation)

The cypress, pine, an box trees provided for the structure of the rest of the “House” of THE LORD:

Isaiah 60:13… “The cypress, the pine, and the box tree together, To beautify the place of My sanctuary”

As Pamela saw in her vision, “We are the wilderness being transformed” into a dwelling place for HIS use.  HE is providing us wisdom, understanding, and a full revelation of Tabernacles as HE is building a dwelling place to reside… US!
