Unity or Division

June 2nd, 2016

Is it better to be right all the time or be in unity?  I marvel at how the ego of a person promotes strife and division.  Everyone has a unique set of beliefs based on their makeup and history of interaction with others.  Life’s experiences play a part in what each individual believes and that belief system is often the source of strife between two people.  In Mark chapter 3, Jesus spoke:

24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Jesus spoke the above parable when the scribes accused Him of being associated with Satan because He had the power to cast out demons.  But Jesus presented a Truth which is applicable in many situations: strife and division cause destruction whether in a household or a nation.

Who determines right and wrong?  Only Our Heavenly Father has the complete picture of the situation whereas neither party knows all aspects of the issue at hand.  Divorce In America is as prevalent among Christians as it is among non-Christians.  Why?  People would have you believe that it is mainly due to money but I would say it is due to lack of unity in the marriage.  Typically one or both spouses in the marriage have an ego issue.  They have a greater need or desire to be right rather than be in unity.  If they based their marriage on Love, unity would prevail.

Your ego demands you to be superior and exalted above the other person and is the source of your motivation to be right all the time.  Love has a willingness to consider the other person whether they are right or wrong for it seeks unity.  Oh yes, there are times when you must take action to protect the one who is wrong but it is the exception, not the rule.

One of the primary reasons for the ministry of Jesus Christ was to bring us into unity with FATHER.  How can we be in full unity with HIM if we cannot be in unity with one another?  FATHER has brought forth by HIS expressed Word the standard of Truth for us to refer to in all matters.  Further, HE has provided us the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us in our individual walks.

In Philippians chapter 1, Paul wrote:

15 Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill:

16 The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains;

17 but the latter out of love,

From what standpoint do you operate from- selfish ambition or Love?  Ambition is an earnest desire for some type of achievement or distinction.  When you add “selfish” to ambition it denotes an intent to achieve something at the expense of another.  If you are hurting others in a quest to be right, you are not walking in Love and you have further need to mature in Christ.  You are causing division among the brethren.

Each of us must die to “self” and that includes having to be right all the time.  In a marriage when unity is sought, the strength within is magnified for there is peace in the household.  This allows FATHER to bring forth greater blessing in all areas.

Proverbs 6:14 reveals the core issue with strife:

Perversity is in his heart,
He devises evil continually,
He sows discord (strife).

The person who promotes division and strife has a “perversity” in his heart.  That person is difficult to deal with and is contrary, argumentative.  Do you sow discord in your sphere of influence or do you promote unity?  If all believers would simply move toward unity rather than look for ways to separate themselves from others, there would be a major change in each nation.  You must see if you have a bond of Love to work from.  If Love is in the midst to two people, all other issues can be resolved because Love is the “glue” allowing full unity to come forth.  When division arises, often you will be missing the key ingredient… Love.

The City of Zion

June 1st, 2016

In Psalm 87:

1 His foundation is in the holy mountains.

2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God!Selah

4 “I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to those who know Me;

Behold, O Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia: ‘This one was born there.’ ”

5 And of Zion it will be said,

“This one and that one were born in her; and the Most High Himself shall establish her.”

6 The LORD will record,

When He registers the peoples: “This one was born there.”Selah

7 Both the singers and the players on instruments say, “All my springs are in you.”

The City of Zion represents the dwelling place of FATHER and those who belong to HIM.  Its foundation is Love and its walls represent Truth and faith.  The walls separate those whose hearts are pure from all others.  Within this “city” dwells those whom FATHER has registered as being designated to bring forth life to a dying world.  It is the light set upon the hill to guide all into HIS Truth.

It is HIM WHO establishes each one of us for HIS purpose and we sense this as we continue our walk.  As you are led to read these words it is not by coincidence but part of HIS Divine Plan working in your life.  You hunger for the fullness of HIS SPIRIT to operate in your life and be assured that it is HIS Divine Intent for that purity of desire to take place and come forth as a wellspring of life.  There are many who would attempt to divert your attention and they may succeed on a temporary basis but you return to the City of Zion knowing that it is the dwelling place of THE MOST HIGH.

Registration is required for citizenship.  FATHER knows the location of all HIS sons and daughters and has dispatched angels to insure their mandates be completed on schedule.  Know that any apparent delay has been accounted for in your walk and purpose.   FATHER knows the end from the beginning and everything in between.  As we mature in our revelation of Love and its application to others, we see the necessity for all of our encounters.  Some of those encounters may be emotionally challenging but we must not let those emotions overtake and divert our attention from our calling.  We will be tested and tried so that we can be assayed and found to be 100% pure, allowing for extra purging to attain the level of purity required for registration.

100% pure gold is transparent whereas 99.999% isn’t.  Let us ascend forth to the City of Zion and enter its gates with praise and thanksgiving.  Let Truth be our guiding light and protection.  Let the wisdom and understanding undergird our individual dwellings as we inhabit the City.

In Revelation chapter 21, the beloved disciple wrote:

22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.

25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).

26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

We must not let lies nor deception be found among those whom we dwell with for those traits disqualify entry into the Holy City.  If sin enters the “camp”, it must be removed and not allowed to take root.  We must take a stand and prevent our emotions from dictating our actions in this area.  We must stand behind the Truth in all matters.  Being registered in the City requires us to be uncompromising as we walk out our specific purpose on behalf of mankind.  FATHER will protect HIS City and its inhabitants by all means necessary.

There is a music originating out of this City that is unlike any other.  My wife has heard a few of the songs and singers as of late for the time is near.  Let this be encouraging to us all as we ascend up the mountain and enter through the gates of this great City.

The Troubled Sea

May 31st, 2016

The people of the earth are described as a sea of humanity in Isaiah chapter 57:

20   But the wicked are like the troubled sea,
When it cannot rest,
Whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

There are people who live in the Heavenlies, those who are earthly, and finally those who live in the troubled sea.  The seas are definitely troubled these days and are beginning to rage at times.  This sea of humanity is depicted in Matthew chapter 14:

22 Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.

23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.

24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.

This particular story provides us with much instruction applicable to today’s situation.  Jesus sent the disciples into the midst of the sea knowing they would be subjected to the challenges of humanity.  At the same time He went up and separated Himself with FATHER to commune and receive instruction.  As expected the sea became contrary and challenged the disciples for there was no peace.

25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.

26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.

27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

Here they are in the midst of a raging storm and Jesus says “Be of good cheer?”  He was not moved by the troubled seas or contrary wind for He knew FATHER had given Him command over the situation thus He trusted the Word spoken to Him while He was alone with FATHER.

28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

For a few moments Peter embraced the same empowerment Jesus walked in while the others remained in the boat.  As a fisherman, Peter knew better than the rest to remain in the safety of the boat during a storm however that past experience did not keep him from stepping out into the raging sea.  Jesus was able to walk above the troubles of humanity and not be subjected to the lawlessness, fears, adversity, and perversity causing the seas to be troubled.  As we look to Him as our Example, we too will be able to rise above the calamity and walk on the water.  Not just a few steps as Peter, but as Jesus walked without any fear whatsoever.

We should be of good cheer knowing that FATHER has placed us here at this specific time in history to be a light unto the world.  The sea may be raging but we should be at peace.  If not, separate yourself unto FATHER until peace prevails in your heart.

Jesus did not keep the disciples from experiencing the troubled sea and neither will we be removed from the troubled sea of humanity.  We must not walk in fear of what is transpiring all around us but instead walk in faith.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

We must not doubt FATHER and HIS Plan.  If we are called to step out of the boat then be assured FATHER will have us operate in a higher law than that which causes us to sink.  Jesus understood the higher laws and operated in them as the need arose.  Let us do the same as we seek fellowship with Our Heavenly Father.  HE will equip us for every situation and we will rise above the troubled sea in faith and walk out our calling.

The Great Revealing

May 30th, 2016

My wife and I marvel at the disintegration of the current society.  Those in charge perpetuate the illusion that all is well yet all of the indicators lead us to believe otherwise.  The so-called 1% are doing well but I am concerned about the 99%.  FATHER has made it clear to not lose hope but know that HE is fully aware of the current situation and HIS plan is firmly in place to bring forth Heaven to earth.  The nations will be judged and HIS deliverers are being prepared as the fullness of time approaches.

The story of Joseph provides us an excellent example to reference.  Thirteen famines are recorded in Scripture and Joseph played an important part in one of them.  Even though his brother intended harm to him and he went through many trials and tests, it was all part of Joseph’s training and purpose established by FATHER.  In the end, Joseph came to appreciate it as he referred to it when he revealed himself to his brothers in Genesis chapter 45:

3 Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph; does my father still live?” But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence.

4 And Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come near to me.” So they came near. Then he said: “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.

5 But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.

6 For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting.

7 And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity (remnant) for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

8 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

We must be encouraged that FATHER in HIS Divine Intent of Love will deliver this earth once again of the sin and lawlessness which has spread throughout the land.  FATHER has always raised up a remnant and protected that remnant in spite of man’s attempt to eliminate those who are called to be a standard of righteousness in the land.  Even the leaders will look to the remnant as “fathers” to seek wisdom and counsel in bringing forth Heaven to earth.  There will be a great revealing as the remnant is fully empowered to come forth in the midst of this moral famine.  As HE spoke through Isaiah in chapter 41, FATHER says to us:

10 Fear not, for I am with you;

Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you,

Yes, I will help you,

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

11 “Behold, all those who were incensed against you

Shall be ashamed and disgraced;

They shall be as nothing,

And those who strive with you shall perish.

12 You shall seek them and not find them—

Those who contended with you.

Those who war against you

Shall be as nothing,

As a nonexistent thing.

13 For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand,

Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’

We are Light

May 29th, 2016

In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus spoke:

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

As the world grows darker, our light will become brighter and we must be careful not to live in isolation.  When Jesus began His ministry, there were no other lights to be seen.  John the Baptist could be “heard” but Jesus came so that we could “see” as well thus Jesus is our example.   He is the first of many Sons and we should pattern our lives in the same manner for He expresses FATHER’S pure Divine Intent of Love.

A lampstand is meant to be placed strategically in a room so that all can see no matter where they are in the room.  We should not become hidden from the world but are meant to be pure standards in the world expressing HIS Love for mankind.  We need not judge the individuals whom we come in contact with for FATHER will take care of that responsibility but instead we are to provide hope by establishing what life is truly all about.

In Romans chapter 15, Paul wrote:

1 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves.

2 Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.

3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED YOU FELL ON ME.”

4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

5 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus,

6 so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The strong should bear the burden of the weak.  Our egos and frustrations would demand the weak bear their own burdens which ultimately leads toward failure.  Do we perpetuate failure by isolating ourselves from the weak or are we willing to take on the burden of their weakness out of Love?  Forbearance means: patient self-control; restraint and tolerance.   In Ephesians chapter 4 Paul further wrote:

1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;

5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

How can we be in unity if we are always isolated from each other?  Each of us are at different levels of maturity and understanding but that should not keep us from fellowshipping and bearing one another’s burdens.  If we become judgmental we will not fellowship with anyone because we will always find an area where the other person is missing the mark.  We must judge not lest we be judged.  Let Love prevail and be the “glue” that allows us to overlook others’ weaknesses and let us look to be in agreement wherever and whenever possible.  Let us allow our light to shine forth as we go into all the world.  A light in an empty room has little or no value.

Don’t Lose Hope

May 28th, 2016

In 1 Peter chapter 3:

8 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;

9 not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

10 For

“He who would love life

And see good days,

Let him refrain his tongue from evil,

And his lips from speaking deceit.

11 Let him turn away from evil and do good;

Let him seek peace and pursue it.

12 For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,

And His ears are open to their prayers;

But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.”

FATHER’S Eyes are on each of us as we pursue our daily activities and HE is our True Witness to the path of righteousness.  HE has called us to unity and thus we should look to see what we have in common versus what would separate us from fellowship.  We all have different priorities since we all have different callings but the one thing we have in common is our Love and Truth.  If only Christians would have the same Love for their brothers as they claim to have for Our Heavenly Father and HIS Most Holy Son Jesus Christ.

Are you tenderhearted or has your heart become cold?  Only you and FATHER know the answer to that question.  Are you in the mode of blessing others or are you always in need yourself?  People will rationalize away why they are not givers but in the final analysis it is a heart issue.  Those who are mature and strong should help the immature and weak.  Who else is there that FATHER can and will use?

Everyone wants their prayers heard and answered.  If you are truly a vessel who FATHER can use, be assured HE will answer your prayers for HE knows you are willing to be used of HIM in all situations.  The flow of Heaven has not ceased but only a blockage in our hearts will keep the flow from proceeding through us to all of mankind.

Our hope is to see “good days” which are positive and prosperous.  As we walk in Love we will prosper in the manner that promotes life.  The beloved disciple wrote:

3 John 2:  Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

The word prosper denotes success in whatever you are involved in.  It does not refer to lack or wanting.  When you walk in Love and Truth your soul is prospering and as you apply Love and Truth in all that you do you will be blessed in whatever you set your hand to for FATHER rewards those who diligently seek HIM.  People want to apply this passage directly to finances which is not its primary intent.  If finances are needed for your calling as you walk in Love and Truth, they will be provided.  However, you should always be content in whatever state you are in knowing that FATHER is your Provider.

Don’t lose hope when you are waiting for an expected outcome.  Be patient.  Know that FATHER will respond at the appointed time and understand that any apparent delay has purpose behind it.  When you are being pressured, view it as preparation.  When frustration comes, consider it a barometer to your level of maturity in the area of steadfastness.  Look for the good in every situation and know that FATHER hears and responds to your prayers as you walk in Love and Truth.

Love, Light, and Wisdom

May 27th, 2016

FATHER has instructed me twice now to focus on Paul’s letter to the Ephesians and specifically chapter 5.  First Paul instructed them to walk in Love:

1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Secondly, Paul instructed them in walk in light:

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),

10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Thirdly, Paul instructed them in walk in wisdom:

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,

16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Finally Paul addresses the relationship of husband and wife:

22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.

24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.

If a husband truly Loves his wife as Christ Loves the church, the wife will have absolutely no issue in submitting to him.  Instead, she will be completely willing to submit to him as he is being led by THE SPIRIT and walking in the fullness of Love.  As I submit myself to Jesus Christ and all His attributes, His anointing will flow to me, through me, and to my wife.  I will look to her as my second witness and if we are not in one accord, I will take no action.  As I honor her gifts and sensitivity to THE SPIRIT, our lives together promote life and peace.

The husband has the responsibility to walk in Love, light, and wisdom.  If a man is in sin and lawlessness, how can he expect his wife to submit to his path toward destruction?  Out of Love, the husband should initiate and follow the path of righteousness and the wife will respond.  Setting conditions for your spouse will only delay unity.  If you follow Christ and walk in Love your spouse will ultimately be convicted of his or her error.  Some repent quickly and some take time.  Let FATHER take on the responsibility of opening the eyes and ears of your spouse.  You simply need to walk in Love, light, and wisdom.

Only Two Groups

May 26th, 2016

In Romans chapter 6 Paul wrote:

16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

All of us fall into one of two basic groups: those of sin and those of righteousness.  In essence we are all slaves to the one whom we follow and the distinction is becoming quite clear these days.   We should not be surprised by all the sin and lawlessness that is being promoted from every corner of the globe.  The perversity of the Truth is increasing in an exponential manner thus it is increasingly important for us to fully submit ourselves to FATHER’S SPIRIT in our daily walk.  Jesus made this very point in Matthew chapter 13 where He spoke about the wheat and the tares.  To continue in Romans 6:

17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.

18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

We need to be thankful and walk in gratitude each and every day for being delivered from slavery to sin.  We must let peace prevail in our lives even though we are in the midst of those who are slaves to sin.  We must speak as THE SPIRIT leads us to speak yet we must be silent in obedience to THE SPIRIT.  In John chapter 14, Jesus spoke:

23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

Jesus Himself was fully submitted to the obedience of FATHER and made it quite clear that only those who Love Him were to be included as slaves of righteousness.  Righteousness can only come from FATHER and HIS Divine Intent of Love and nowhere else.  Righteousness is the quality of being morally right or justifiable.  You cannot legislate righteousness and certain groups of people cannot define righteousness to condone their lawlessness.  It can only come from THE CREATOR.  No matter how man attempts to redefine right and wrong, righteousness is strictly defined by Heaven Above.

We all have 23 pairs of chromosomes that make up our genetic reality.  Males have an X and Y chromosome whereas females have two X chromosomes.  You cannot redefine your physiology and that is the strictest of realities.  You can argue social issues all day long and can change outward appearances but that does not change the reality of how you were formed in the womb.  This basic Truth is not up for debate.  However, what group you wish to be a slave to is your choice.  You can submit to the wicked one or you can submit to the Author of Truth.  Paul wrote in 1 Timothy chapter 4:

1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron

People who are promoting perversity are giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.  We have been warned and must not be surprised by the maturing of “the tares” in these times.  Our mandate is to continue to mature in righteousness and walk accordingly.  We are to express Love and only walk according to FATHER’S leading.  HE will bundle up the tares at the appointed time so we need not take matters into our own hands.  Instead, we should be lights unto the world as it grows in darkness and expect those who come to their senses to forsake their lawlessness and become slaves to righteousness where joy unspeakable resides.

Building Others Up

May 25th, 2016

We must watch our speech as we are confronted with adversity.  It is easy to be cordial when there is no pressure but when it does come, how do you respond, out of emotion or by THE SPIRIT?  In Ephesians chapter 4 Paul wrote:

29  Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

Our words should be consistent in bringing others to Spiritual maturity.  Sometimes correction is needed, sometimes instruction is necessary, and other times  simply and encouraging word is all that is required.  As we become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit we will speak the right Word at the right time according to THE SPIRIT and it will produce and/or promote life in the recipient.  As we take control of our tongue and become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit, we will consistently minister life to others.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Paul urges us to be led by THE SPIRIT in all things for our words express Life or promote death and destruction.  Our words can create emotional scars in others that are not soon forgotten.  There are those who would challenge every word you speak but let not their wayward acts move you to speak from a frustrated emotional state.

31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.

Each of us must assess the words we speak to others.  Do they build up or tear down?  There are times where you must speak forth a word of correction in order for the hearer to repent of their current path but let it be done in Love and in THE SPIRIT.  They may be offended but let that offense arise out of the power of FATHER’S Word and not your emotional state.  The Truth is the standard and people will be convicted of the Truth.  You may be called to correct but let it be done without your emotions dictating the method of delivery.  If necessary, hold your tongue until your emotions are in check.  Paul reminds us:

32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

We must all consider our own humanity.  We judge others by their actions yet we judge ourselves by our intent.  By considering the fact that our own walk has been less than pristine we must always consider grace and mercy in our delivery.  Jesus put it this way In Luke chapter 6:

41 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye?

42 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

When we speak to others we must be ever aware of the source of our intent.  Does it arise from  logic, emotion, or by the Holy Spirit?  As we pursue the fullness of HIS SPIRIT abiding and operating in us and through us we will by HIS Nature build others up.  Let our words convey Love and life to the hearer and let each encounter provide some aspect of growth toward Spiritual maturity.

All of us have a ministry to build others up toward Spiritual maturity and this is done by pursuing the path of Love.  In Proverbs chapter 3:

12  For whom the LORD loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights.

There are words for correction, others for encouragement, but all words should have an intent to build others up.  Let our words produce life!

Our Trust IN HIM

May 24th, 2016

In Psalm 118, it is written:

8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

The world continues to grow in uncertainty but be of good cheer, FATHER is always available and willing to intervene on our behalf.  Man would have us believe difficulties are to be avoided whereas FATHER tells us to overcome the difficulties placed in our paths.  We must quit being fearful of the unknown but instead place our full and complete trust IN HIM.

Even the most reliable and trustworthy of men can and will fail us at some point so we must place our trust in the ONE WHO will always be with us in our time of need.  In Matthew chapter 13, Jesus warned us of the wicked who would practice lawlessness and mature along side of us as we grow into the revelation of Love:

37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.

38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.

39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.

40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.

41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,

42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

We must acknowledge the existence of the “tares”, those who practice and promote lawlessness for they are a reality in this current age.  We must fully understand that FATHER will send HIS angels to gather and remove the lawless ones from our midst.  They will be purged of their lawless and wicked ways by a purifying fire.  Their wailing will come forth when they see the error of their ways.

We must realize that the tares of the world are maturing in wickedness and lawlessness at the same time we are maturing in Godliness and Love.  Thus we must not be surprised at all the perverseness at hand.  Men and women are promoting perversity and basically attacking FATHER’S intelligent design of the physiology of mankind at all levels, even down to the atomic level.  Should we challenge FATHER’S Divine Intent?  Of course not.  Instead we should trust HIM and know that the only issue at hand is to discover HIS Intent in all matters.

The Truth is simple whereas those who consistently lie are required to create complexity in order to hide their lies.  Our only challenge is to discover intent behind the actions of those whom we come in contact with or rule over us.  We must ask FATHER for discernment as we are confronted with the current complexities of life and allow the Holy Spirit to guide our hearts in all matters.  Mankind can attempt to control external communications but they are unable to impede what FATHER instructs us by HIS SPIRIT.  Let us place our full trust IN HIM and know that HE will guide us through all the uncertainty at hand.  HE is Author of our peace and Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.  Let us continue our walk in hope, faith, and Love knowing our trust is IN HIM.
