Teaching Life With Boldness

Our Elder Brother Jesus is our Example to follow.  As we mature in Christ and arise to the level of Overcomer, we should expect a boldness to come upon us by the anointing of FATHER.  In the Gospel of John chapter 7 we find a certain event occurred during the Feast of Tabernacles:

14 Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught.

15 And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know letters, having never studied?”

Jesus was able to teach among the scholars without any formal education for He was full of wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill imparted to Him from FATHER.  Each of us should embrace this reality as well.  Advanced education will not guarantee success in life and thus there is no need to be intimidated or in awe of those with advanced degrees.  Our relationship with FATHER allows us to tap into much greater understanding in all areas of life if only we will are willing to receive.  Consider the Words of Jesus in this passage:

16 Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.

18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

Jesus shares the key of His ability to teach- His relationship with FATHER.  Jesus did not seek to exalt Himself but instead exalts FATHER in all of His speech.  FATHER is the Author of all Truth and facts thus as we grow closer to FATHER in all areas of our life, our speech will reflect HIS Truth and people will marvel at the words proceeding out of our mouth.  When we become fully led by THE SPIRT, our words will be irresistible to those with ears to hear.

You might say that you cannot in any way rise up to the same level as Jesus and be able to teach in the same manner.  Think again.  The disciples had been fisherman before being called by Jesus and had no formal education yet once Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, things changed.  In Acts chapter 4 consider the audience whom Peter addressed:

5 And it came to pass, on the next day, that their rulers, elders, and scribes,

6 as well as Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the family of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel:

9 If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well,

10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.

This fisherman had a boldness and authority which was nonexistent four years earlier.  If Peter was able to embrace the power, authority, and knowledge from Above, we too are able to do the same.  Now consider how the rulers, elders, and scribes responded:

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

As we become accustomed to the anointed power of FATHER coming upon us, we will gain courage to speak forth Truth and Life as did Jesus and the disciples.  These examples are given for our instruction and encouragement.  Let us not limit ourselves because of our past inabilities in any area but let us proceed boldly as FATHER instructs and allow HIS Word to come forth and enlighten those around us.  We are to be lights unto this world of darkness and must no longer be silent when the Holy Spirit is nudging us to speak Life and Truth to those who are brought before us.
