Reflecting His Glory

The Great Day of THE LORD is coming!

The last days’ ministry will be known as The Great Day of THE LORD.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Malachi chapter 4:

1 “For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the LORD of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But to you who fear My Name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

3 You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the LORD of hosts.

King David prophesied of this future event in his last words.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Samuel chapter 23:

1 Now these are the last words of David. Thus says David the son of Jesse; Thus says the man raised up on high, The anointed of the God of Jacob, And the sweet psalmist of Israel:

2 “The Spirit of the LORD spoke by me, And His Word was on my tongue.

3 The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: ‘He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in the Fear of God.

4 And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, Like the tender grass springing out of the earth, By clear shining after rain.’

David spoke of the Sun of Righteousness arising in the Fear of THE LORD.

And in Psalm chapter 84:

11 For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping Himself around me like a shield, He is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along His paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for He provides it all!

You and I will walk with HIS gifts of grace (enablement) and glory.  We will be sufficient in all our needs for HE is Our Provider!

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 17:

1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;

2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

After six days is a prophetic picture of The Great Day and Jesus was transfigured on the Mount.  He was glorified and was witnessed by Peter, James, and John… three witnesses.  We too should expect the gift of glory to come forth as we minister in that Great Day.

And it is also written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 1:

3 The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s True Nature—His mirror Image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His Spoken Word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took His Seat on the Highest Throne at the Right Hand of The Majestic One.

As we become mature Sons and Daughters, being fully led by The Holy Spirit as Jesus was led in His earthly ministry, we should expect to reflect His Image as well.  Jesus expects us to do greater works than Him.

In that Great Day in bringing Heaven to earth, we must not limit ourselves by a mindset that has failed to grasp the prophecies given to instruct us of what to expect as that Day approaches.  We are not to be caught off guard.  In that day:

You who stand in awe at the sound of My Name

You will be free and leap for joy

You will overcome and trample down the wicked

You will reflect His glory!
