FATHER, bring forth the Holy Fire!
It is written by THE SPIRIT in Joel chapter 2:
28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
29 Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out My Spirit.
30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and Awesome Day of the LORD comes.
32 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on The Name of the LORD shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the LORD calls.
Do you take this Word literally? I do! People tend to spiritualize any event they have not experienced. I have experienced earthquakes which have shaken our home in a violent manner. I have experienced two hurricanes and left the area just in time. Why would I find it hard to believe that the prophetic Word spoken by the prophet Joel would not come to pass?
Once I was baptized in The Holy Spirit, the change was remarkable. My priorities were totally different, and I put off the old man and began to walk a new path or Holy instruction and correction.
Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 16:
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If you truly want to follow Me, you should at once completely reject and disown your own life. And you must be willing to share My cross and experience it as your own, as you continually surrender to My Ways. 25 For if you choose self-sacrifice and lose your lives for My Glory, you will continually discover True Life. But if you choose to keep your lives for yourselves, you will forfeit what you try to keep.
26 For even if you were to gain all the wealth and power of this world—at the cost of your own life—what good would that be? And what could be more valuable to you than your own soul?
At the end of the day, my soul’s condition is more important than anything the world can offer.
It is written by THE SPIRIT in Ecclesiastes chapter 12:
8 “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher. “All [that is done without God’s guidance] is vanity (futility).”
9 Furthermore, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; and he pondered and searched out and arranged many proverbs.
10 The Preacher sought to find delightful words, even to write correctly Words of Truth.
13 When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almighty God] and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person.
14 For God will bring every act to judgment, every hidden and secret thing, whether it is good or evil.
ddWorldly trappings are fleeting and elusive for they are meant to enslave us and waste our time and resources. Let us focus on good fruit that will stand the test of Holy Fire.
