Our Motivations

Sunday, July 19th, 2020

Paul gives us seven empowering motivations by which we are to live our lives as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

4 So, while living in this “tent,” we groan under its burden, not because we want to die but because we want these new bodies. We crave for all that is mortal to be swallowed up by eternal life. 5 And this is no empty hope, for GOD HIMSELF is the One Who has prepared us for this wonderful destiny. And to confirm this promise, HE has given us the Holy Spirit, like an engagement ring, as a guarantee.

6 That’s why we’re always full of courage. Even while we’re at home in the body, we’re homesick to be with the Master— 7 for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. 8 We live with a joyful confidence, yet at the same time we take delight in the thought of leaving our bodies behind to be at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we live or die we make it our life’s passion to live our lives pleasing to Him. 10 For one day we will all be openly revealed before Christ on His throne so that each of us will be duly recompensed for our actions done in life, whether good or worthless.

11 Since we are those who stand in holy awe of the Lord, we make it our passion to persuade others to turn to Him. We know that our lives are transparent before the GOD who knows us fully, and I hope that we are also well known to your consciences. 12 Again, we are not taking an opportunity to brag, but giving you information that will enable you to be proud of us, and to answer those who esteem outward appearances while overlooking what is in the heart.

13 If we are out of our minds in a blissful, divine ecstasy, it is for GOD, but if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. 14 For it is Christ’s love that fuels our passion and motivates us, because we are absolutely convinced that He has given his life for all of us. This means all died with him,

The above seven motivations are culminated in the last- Christ’s Love and that fuels my passion and motivation to write and encourage you.  Paul’s motivations were revealed to us by The Holy Spirit so that we could assess our individual walks to determine where we stand.

15 so that those who live should no longer live self-absorbed lives but lives that are poured out for Him—the one who died for us and now lives again. 16 So then, from now on, we have a new perspective that refuses to evaluate people merely by their outward appearances. For that’s how we once viewed the Anointed One, but no longer do we see Him with limited human insight.

As FATHER’S Love overtakes us, we will see others in a different light.  We will understand those who are in desperation and no longer judge them based on their current situation.  We will look to restore them to FATHER since HE knew them before HE formed them in the womb.

Let us pursue a walk with the proper motivations based on Agape Love.  Not only will we benefit but those around will enjoy our ministry toward others.

Paul is stating that the motivating passion of his life is Christ’s Love filling his heart, leaving him no choice but to surrender everything to GOD.

(1) The Holy Spirit

(2) faith

(3) a joyful confidence that we have new bodies waiting for us in heaven

(4) our life’s passion to live for Christ

(5) the knowledge of our appointment to stand before Christ

(6) our holy awe of God

(7) Christ’s endless Love for us

These are my motivations as well.  With these motivations, we cannot lose.

Do I Tithe?

Saturday, July 18th, 2020

Do I tithe into Servias Ministries?  The Holy Spirit wants me to share this since there is someone who questions the motivation of the blogs written concerning finances and giving.

My answer is a resounding YES, absolutely.  I continue to work “part-time” in the IT industry and generate income for my family.  We tithe from this income, investments, and retirement income.  I am grateful for FATHER’S great grace and mercy in my life and HE and I have a history of HIM blessing my family.

Over the years, HE has tested and trained me in the area of finances.  HE has miraculously paid off houses and cars thus today we have no debt.  It is all about obedience to both HIS written Word and HIS spoken Word.

Am I special to HIM? Yes, but you are too.  HE Loves to see HIS Sons and Daughters trust IN HIM to do HIS Word in their lives.

Greed (love of money) is the root of all evil and it is tied closely to fear.  People are fearful thus they live in a scarcity-oriented mindset.  I choose to live in FATHER’S Mindset of abundance thus I expect blessing to come my way, and it does.  As I said, FATHER and I have a history.

At this point, we tithe only into Servias Ministries as directed by The Holy Spirit.  We pray over our tithe and trust FATHER for a harvest of good fruit.  Right now, Servias is focused on giving to impoverished children for they are precious in HIS Sight.  When you give into Servias Ministries, you are not supporting me or my family, you are helping the impoverished kids.

Servias does not have a payroll and never has.  If FATHER determines to enlarge Servias, then we will hire necessary people.  As for now, writing to you on a daily basis is what The Holy Spirit wants me to do.  I do it out of Love and hope it ministers to you resulting in you moving toward greater maturity so that you walk in HIS power and authority.

I am thankful for those who have joined me in cheerful giving to help the less fortunate… FATHER is too.  HE knows our hearts and looks forward to blessing us in return.

In Matthew chapter 25, Jesus spoke (after His end time discussion in chapter 24):

14 “Again, Heaven’s kingdom realm is like the wealthy man who went on a long journey and summoned all his trusted servants and assigned his financial management over to them. 15 Before he left on his journey, he entrusted a bag of five thousand gold coins to one of his servants, to another a bag of two thousand gold coins, and to the third a bag of one thousand gold coins, each according to his ability to manage.

16 “The one entrusted with five thousand gold coins immediately went out and traded with the money, and he doubled his investment. 17 In the same way, the one who was entrusted with two thousand gold coins traded with the sum and likewise doubled his investment. 18 But the one who had been entrusted with one thousand gold coins dug a hole in the ground and buried his master’s money.

19 “After much time had passed, the master returned to settle accounts with his servants. 20 The one who was entrusted with five thousand gold coins came and brought ten thousand, saying, ‘See, I have doubled your money.’

21 “Commending his servant, the master replied, ‘You have done well, and proven yourself to be my loyal and trustworthy servant. Because you have been a faithful steward to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of your master, who will say to you, “Come celebrate with me!”

22 “Then the one who had been entrusted with two thousand gold coins came in and said, ‘See, my master, I have doubled what you have entrusted to me.’

23 “Commending his servant, the master replied, ‘You have done well, and proven yourself to be my loyal and trustworthy servant. Because you were faithful to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of your master, who will say to you, “Come celebrate with me!”’

24 “Then the one who had been entrusted with one thousand gold coins came to his master and said, ‘Look, sir. I know that you are a hard man to please and you’re a shrewd and ruthless businessman who grows rich on the backs of others. 25 I was afraid of you, so I went and hid your money and buried it in the ground. But here it is—take it, it’s yours.’

26 “Angered by what he heard, the master said to him, ‘You’re an untrustworthy and lazy servant! If you knew I was a shrewd and ruthless business man who always makes a profit, why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? 27 Then I would have received it all back with interest when I returned. 28 But because you were unfaithful, I will take the one thousand gold coins and give them to the one who has ten thousand. 29 For the one who has will be given more, until he overflows with abundance. And the one with hardly anything, even what little he has will be taken from him.’

30 “Then the master said to his other servants, ‘Now, throw that good-for-nothing servant far away from me into the outer darkness, where there will be great misery and anguish!’”

Let us not be found in unbelief when He returns.  The tithing question has been answered for the person or persons who have questioned my motivation in writing concerning giving.

1 + 8 Gifts

Friday, July 17th, 2020

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Galatians chapter 5:

22–23 But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is Divine Love in all its varied expressions:

joy that overflows,

peace that subdues,

patience that endures,

kindness in action,

a life full of virtue,

faith that prevails,

gentleness of heart, and

strength of spirit

Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.

The “fruit” (singular) of the Holy Spirit is Love, with the other virtues displaying aspects of the greatest quality of Spirit-life, Agape Love.  Love is preeminent and the other fruit result from the revelation of Agape Love.

John had this revelation as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 John chapter 3:

10 Here is how God’s children can be clearly distinguished from the children of the Evil One. Anyone who does not demonstrate righteousness and show Love to fellow believers is not living with God as his source.

11 The beautiful message you’ve heard right from the start is that we should walk in self-sacrificing Love toward one another. 12 We should not be like Cain, who yielded to the Evil One and brutally murdered his own brother, Abel. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s righteous.

13 So don’t be shocked, beloved brothers and sisters, if you experience the world’s hatred. 14 Yet we can be assured that we have been translated from spiritual death into spiritual life because we Love the family of believers. A loveless life remains spiritually dead. 15 Everyone who keeps hating a fellow believer is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

16 This is how we have discovered Love’s reality: Jesus sacrificed his life for us. Because of this great Love, we should be willing to lay down our lives for one another. 17 If anyone sees a fellow believer in need and has the means to help him, yet shows no pity and closes his heart against him, how is it even possible that God’s Love lives in him?

Agape Love initiates actions and produces results.  Jesus’ Love produced faith in me because of the assurance of His Love for me.  With that assurance I was able to accept all of the other promises given to me by FATHER.

Agape Love gives me joy and peace.  Agape Love encourages me to be longsuffering and walk in kindness.  In addition, I take on FATHER’S quality of

Goodness and become faithful in all HE is directing me to say and do by HIS Holy Spirit.  With this confidence I walk in gentleness and self-control. It all results from Agape Love being manifested toward me and in me.

We must not simply group Agape Love with the other fruit as though it comes forth after the other fruit are manifested.  Can you have true joy without Agape Love?  Can you truly be longsuffering without Agape Love?

As Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians chapter 13:

1 If I were to speak with eloquence in earth’s many languages, and in the heavenly tongues of angels, yet I didn’t express myself with Love, my words would be reduced to the hollow sound of nothing more than a clanging cymbal.

2 And if I were to have the gift of prophecy with a profound understanding of FATHER’S hidden secrets, and if I possessed unending supernatural knowledge, and if I had the greatest gift of faith that could move mountains, but have never learned to Love, then I am nothing.

3 And if I were to be so generous as to give away everything I owned to feed the poor, and to offer my body to be burned as a martyr, without the pure motive of Love, I would gain nothing of value.

The mind likes group these qualities as simple “nine gifts of The Spirit” but I say to you that we should look at them as “One plus eight resulting fruit of The Spirit” since Agape Love comes before the rest will materialize.

As Jesus spoke in John chapter 3:

16 For this is how much GOD Loved the world—HE gave HIS one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in Him will never perish but experience everlasting life.

Love came first and the other gifts followed.  Selah!

Continued Technology Failure

Thursday, July 16th, 2020

FATHER warned me of technology failures and I recently wrote a blog of this warning. Two different major company sites were having problems today. Here is one such example:

When a major banking institution has an “Internet” problem, how are their customers able to pay their bills and/or access their accounts?

These are not the only recent instances. However, both occurred within an hour of each other. I experience or observe a failure just about every day now.

Be prepared and expect the unexpected!

Accessing Our Deposits

Thursday, July 16th, 2020

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in his 2nd Epistle in chapter 1:

3 Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to GOD has already been deposited in us by HIS Divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing HIM WHO has called us by name and invited us to come to HIM through a glorious manifestation of HIS goodness.

The word lavished means: expended, bestowed, or occurring in profusion (in abundance).  FATHER is holding nothing back from HIS Sons and Daughters.  In fact, we have an abundance of HIS virtues within us awaiting our realization of this reality.  The supernatural is within us if we would only realize such power awaits our use and operation.  Do you think The Holy Spirit simply wants to stay dormant in you throughout your life?

4 As a result of this, HE has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the Divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

We have a choice to walk in some degree of darkness or we can embrace FATHER’S Word and HIS Holy Spirit enabling us to overcome the world and all its devices.  What’s it gonna be

During the 1970’s and 80’s, faith was the revelation being preached to us.  The “faith” teachers led us to believe if we operated in faith, we were somewhat complete.  None of us questioned the “superiority” of faith during that movement but it wasn’t producing an abundance of good fruit as promised.  How were we so blind!

Peter continued with the revelation given to him by Our Lord Jesus and The Holy Spirit:

5 So devote yourselves to lavishly supplementing your faith with goodness,

and to goodness add understanding,

6 and to understanding add the strength of self-control,

and to self-control add patient endurance,

and to patient endurance add Godliness,

7 and to Godliness add mercy toward your brothers and sisters,

and to mercy toward others add unending Love.

8 Since these virtues are already planted deep within, and you possess them in abundant supply, they will keep you from being inactive or fruitless in your pursuit of knowing Jesus Christ more intimately.

The Holy Spirit is revealing the Divine Mystery of Jesus Christ and His empowerment residing on the inside of us and we have an abundant supply His virtues awaiting our use and implementation.  Once we have this revelation, we have no excuse but to pursue their full expression in our lives.

9 But if anyone lacks these things, he is blind, constantly closing his eyes to the mysteries of our faith, and forgetting his innocence—for his past sins have been washed away.

We are blind if these virtues are not operating in our lives.  We don’t need to pray for an impartation of these virtues, we need to pray for the blindness to be removed so that we can walk according to what is already deposited within us.  Our flesh would prefer we remain blind to such a wonderful revelation of who we truly are in Christ.  We either believe this Word from The Holy Spirit or we choose to remain blind.

I have staked my life on FATHER and HIS Word so I fully embrace these Truths.  As our blindness is removed, we can truly see how we can walk fully led by The Holy Spirit in all areas of our life no matter what circumstances we face.  Focus on these virtues and expect them to begin producing fruit in your life.  The people around us need to eat of the virtuous fruit we are producing.

The Tithe Cleanses The Rest

Wednesday, July 15th, 2020

Moses wrote by The Holy Spirit in Genesis chapter 12:

1 Now the LORD had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,

From your family

And from your father’s house,

To a land that I will show you.

2 I will make you a great nation;

I will bless you

And make your name great;

And you shall be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you,

And I will curse him who curses you;

And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

FATHER took on the responsibility to bless Abram and those people who blessed Abram as well.  They received blessing because they “blessed” Abram even though they did not have a direct covenant with FATHER.  I have personally seen this Truth operate in my business career.  I have also observed the results of the curse on people who have dealt in an unrighteous manner toward HIS Sons.

After Abram rescued Lot from Sodom and Gomorrah, he encountered Melchizedek king of Salem.  Each step of Abram had been ordered and his blessings had continued, even when he conducted a rescue of his nephew.  In Genesis chapter 14, it is written by The Holy Spirit:

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said:

“Blessed be Abram of God Most High,

Possessor of heaven and earth;

20 And blessed be God Most High,

Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”

And he gave him a tithe of all.

21 Now the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself.”

22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the LORD, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth, 23 that I will take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’— 24 except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.”

Why did Melchizedek come out of Salem (Jerusalem) to meet with Abram?  Abram’s wealth and increase needed to be cleansed and blessed before coming any closer to Salem.  The tithe cleanses the rest.  Melchizedek brought bread and wine to take communion with Abram thus the tithe was sealed upon taking communion with Melchizedek.  All unrighteousness was being removed from Abram’s “assets”.  This was required before entry into Salem (complete, safe, peaceful, perfect, whole, full, at peace).

This tithe occurred before The Law, before Abram’s name change, and before details of the communion had been given.  Would Abram’s name change (nature change) have occurred without this critical event?  This event established that Abram was not led by greed but instead he willingly gave Melchizedek a tenth of all his possessions.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 11:

16 Since Abraham and the patriarchs are consecrated and set apart for God, so also will their descendants be set apart. If the roots of a tree are holy and set apart for God, so too will be the branches.

And:

19 You might begin to think that some branches were pruned or broken off just to make room for you. 20 Yes, that’s true. They were removed because of their unbelief. But remember this: you are only attached by your faith. So don’t be presumptuous, but stand in awe and reverence. 21 Since God didn’t spare the natural branches that fell into unbelief, perhaps HE won’t spare you either!

22 So fix your gaze on the simultaneous kindness and strict justice of God. How severely HE treated those who fell into unbelief! Yet how tender and kind is HIS relationship with you. So keep on trusting in his kindness; otherwise, you also will be cut off.

The world would have us believe that we are moving toward greater scarcity yet FATHER blesses those who honor HIM with their cheerful tithe.  Unbelief moves a person toward scarcity for he or she does not truly believe in FATHER’S blessings toward those who give with the right motivation.  The tithe cleanses the “whole”.

The Proper Focus

Tuesday, July 14th, 2020

The media would have us focus on the pandemic whereas Jesus wants us to focus on establishing FATHER’S Kingdom on earth.  Where does your focus lie?

Luke wrote by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 1:

1 To Theophilus, the lover of GOD.

I write to you again, my dear friend, to give you further details about the life of our Lord Jesus and all the things that He did and taught.

2 Just before He ascended into heaven, He left instructions for the apostles He had chosen by the Holy Spirit. 3 After the sufferings of His cross, Jesus appeared alive many times to these same apostles over a forty-day period. Jesus proved to them with many convincing signs that He had been resurrected.

During these encounters, He taught them the Truths of GOD’s Kingdom realm 4 and shared meals with them.

Jesus instructed them, “Don’t leave Jerusalem, but wait here until you receive the gift I told you about, the gift The FATHER has promised. 5 For John baptized you in water, but in a few days from now you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit!”

6 Every time they were gathered together, they asked Jesus, “Lord, is it the time now for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?”

7 He answered, “The FATHER is the one who sets the fixed dates and the times of their fulfillment. You are not permitted to know the timing of all that HE has prepared by HIS own authority. 8 But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power. And you will be My messengers to Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces—even to the remotest places on earth!”

9 Right after He spoke those words, the disciples saw Jesus lifted into the sky and disappear into a cloud! 10 As they stared into the sky, watching Jesus ascend, two men in white robes suddenly appeared beside them. 11 They told the startled disciples, “Galileans, why are you staring up into the sky? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but he will come back the same way that you saw him ascend.”

If you only had forty days left on earth, what would you be doing?  Establishing your future or recounting the past?  Jesus had spent the first forty days of His ministry being tested so He took advantage of His last forty days by ministering and teaching exactly what the disciples needed- focus on The Kingdom.

What is your number one priority?  I can tell you mine.  The first thing every morning I pray in Tongues.  Why?  Jesus established the importance of being led by The Holy Spirit else FATHER would not have immediately provided such a gift of empowerment once Jesus left the earth.

Jesus gave clear instructions and priority of receiving The Holy Spirit to the disciples.  Does the five-fold ministry give the same priority today?  Many of the churches in the United States has have relegated the baptism of The Holy Spirit to some back room so as not to make their congregation uncomfortable.  An uncomfortable immature congregation will interrupt the cash flow if they are challenged in any way.

Why do you think the world is in the mess they are in allowing those who are currently in control to shut down entire countries due to a virus that has taken less lives than abortion or tuberculosis?  It is clearly that last ditch effort of the adversary to prevent the Great Awakening in the TRUE CHURCH.

FATHER spoke in Haggai:

3 Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” 5 Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways!

6 “You have sown much, and bring in little;

You eat, but do not have enough;

You drink, but you are not filled with drink;

You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm;

And he who earns wages,

Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”

7 Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways! 8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the LORD. 9 “You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the LORD of hosts. “Because of MY House that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house. 10 Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit.

The people were focused on their own house and not FATHER’S House thus HIS Kingdom.  As a result, they lived in scarcity.  We must reestablish our priorities if we as individuals will partake of HIS Divine Nature here on earth.  Those who honor and are led by The Holy Spirit will walk in the same empowerment as the apostle in the Book of Acts.  The purpose of empowerment is to establish FATHER’S Kingdom on earth!

I am not ashamed of The Holy Spirit nor do I hide the fact that I speak in Tongues more than most.  Let us be bold in our beliefs and acts accordingly.  It is critical that we maintain the proper focus in these times for the Great Awakening is at hand.

Ben Yamin; Son of the Right, or Right to be the Son. Part 2

Monday, July 13th, 2020

Our Beloved Brother Alan continues:

After making peace with Laban, and cutting a covenant with Laban to agree that their individual gods would watch between them to essentially keep them honest in their covenant terms, Jacob departs from the region of Padan Aram to continue his trek back to Canaan, and to his Father Isaac’s kindred.  Chapter 32 of Genesis gives a detailed account of how Jacob, the ‘supplanter, plans to send gifts and offerings in the direction of Esau to soften the impact of Esau’s response when he finds out that Jacob and company are returning to the region.  And Jacob’s advance party returns to tell him that while they were on their way to greet Esau, they were met by Esau and his company of 400 that were coming out to meet them.  This ‘news’ greatly disturbs Jacob, and he makes plans to manage the situation if Esau’s intentions are hostile or combative. [Gen. 32:6-8]  Jacob then launches into a reminder to YHWH, the God of my fathers, that YHWH told him to return to his father’s kindred and land, and YHWH will deal kindly with him.

Jacob is being sifted, and Gen. 32: 9-23 details the plans Jacob was making to protect his possessions and to manage the pending confrontation with Esau.  Jacob is doing what Jacob does best.  He is preparing to supplant a threatening situation with a more benevolent possibility.  However, Jacob’s prayer in verse 9-12 was for deliverance from the threatening hand of Esau.  But God had a more complete correction of the plight of Jacob than just neutralizing the threat of Esau in the mind/heart of Jacob.  This scenario reminds me of the man lying at the pool of Bethesda, John 5:6.  The man desired that someone would help him get into the pool, for it was believed that if you could get into the pool, you could be relieved of your ailment.  To him Jesus said, “Will you be made whole”?  Like Jacob, the man was simply looking for some relief from his distress.  However, there was a complete makeover, and restructuring of his life in store that the man could not possibly have believed.

Jacob has asked to be relieved of the distress of Esau, but he was in for a complete makeover.  Jacob was in for a name change, which is always indicative of a nature change.  And this is revealed in Gen. 32:22.  Jacob took his wives and maid-servants and his eleven sons and passed over the ford Jabbok.  The Hebrew word ‘yah-bok’ is Strong’s # H2999.  The word is illustrative of emptying a vessel of whatever contents it contained, for the contents are no longer acceptable, and must be discarded. The primary root is Strong’s # H1238, ‘bah-qaq’ which also is descriptive of being emptied of those things, or qualities, that are no longer acceptable for the assignment that lies ahead.  Jacob asked for relief from Esau.  God however had decided to empty Jacob of Jacob, that he may be replaced with Israel.  This is why I have said in the past that Jacob had eleven sons.  But Jacob’s name was to be changed to Israel before the birth of Benjamin, just as Abram had to have a name/nature change before becoming siring Isaac.

We recognize that there were many years of ‘makeover’ in the process of changing the nature/identity of Jacob until he could be recognized or considered Israel.  However, the process always first begins with accepting a name change to indicate a change of nature.  And so Jacob ‘crosses over’ the brook (nah-hkhal; most often translated as ‘inheritance’) to inherit the emptying of his carnal, or soulish and selfish limitations.  The word ‘nah-hkhal’ (Strong’s #5157, 5158) is used to refer to that which you are inheriting.  It is sometimes translated as ‘brook’, ‘river’, ‘steam’ or ‘valley’ to refer to a physical border to indicate a border or place where an ‘inheritance’ begins, or ends.  The brook ‘Jabbok’, or emptying, is the inheritance that Jacob is receiving in order to prepare his introduction to the ‘new land’ of Israel.  And so begins the beguine.

Gen. 32: 24 – 31.  And so Jacob finds himself alone, and in a struggle with a ‘man’, an ‘iysh’, Strong’s # H376, contracted from the formal ‘enosh’, Strong’s # H582.  There are three Hebrew words most always used to indicate ‘man’, or mankind.  The most recognized is the word ‘adam’.  The most often used throughout the Old Testament is ‘iysh’, which refers to ‘adam’ in his divided identity of ‘soul’ and ‘spirit’.And the other is ‘geber’, which is where the word Gabriel comes from.  ‘Iysh’ is the word used when the feminine aspect of ‘adam’ (iyshah) is separated in ‘adam’ by YHWH to be given the form of ‘woman’ (iyshah).  She was called ‘iyshah’, which is the feminine form of this word, because she was separated from/within the ‘iysh’, the masculine form of this word.  A deep sleep was imposed upon ‘adam’, which he ultimately only awakens from in Christ.

And so Jacob wrestles with, grapples with, his ‘iysh’ self.  But the victory cannot be gained that way, and no amount of supplanting can rid yourself of carnal and soulish appetites and reasoning.  The ‘iysh’ must be reunited with the ‘iyshah’ within all of us, and that is only accomplished by the Wholly Spirit of Truth in Love, which is the Christ identity that we receive as a gift of God from yielding our natures to the makeover of the Wholly Spirit within.  Jacob is being introduced to “…will you be made Whole”?

Jacob has the revelation that he has been wrestling and struggling against the nature of God, and he proclaims the name of this ‘place of struggle’ as Peniel.  To translate this word literally into English, I am very confident that it is proper and acceptable to describe this word as “My face is God”; or “My face with God”.  Either is acceptable, because it indicates you have ‘seen God’, and you still exist.  Pagan religions believe if you saw a god’s face, you would have to die; cease to exist.  That isn’t far wrong, because when you see your own face as the face of God, you have essentially died to the old carnal thinking that had you so twisted and maligned all along.  Yashua, as Messiah, appeared to reveal and declare to us the nature of God the Father, and God is Spirit [John 14 thru 17], and the Spirit of God, in you, empowers you and emboldens you to manifest the Spirit of God in whatever way the Wholly Spirit within reveals to you is called for.  Your face becomes the face of God to whatever situation needs to ‘see God’ to be healed, or made Whole.  “Show and Tell”?  Hmmmm.

From this revelation of struggling with his ‘iysh’ limitations, Jacob realizes that he has been struggling against God all along.  And now, he is prepared to have the sun (Son) arise on his experience (Gen. 32:31], as he ‘crossed over’ Penuel he halted on his thigh.  I don’t doubt it, for his walk is now being influenced by a power and authority he could not possibly have considered before this experience.  Penuel, is the same concept as Peniel, except Peniel is first person possessive identity.  Penuel, from its Hebrew spelling, is third person identity.  I have likened this to Jacob realizing that his face of God now has to recognize his brother, Esau, a third person identity,as the face of God.  And from this encounter, the pageant takes on a completely different flow, leading Jacob into situation after situation that he has to begin to trust on his Peniel revelation rather than trusting the supplanting that has directed his steps to this point in his journey.

Jacob is beginning the dance of becoming Israel, and it isn’t a short dancing lesson.  And from this Peniel revelation within Jacob, now on his journey to becoming Israel, he is allowed to be the father of ‘ben yamin’; the right to be the son.  Rachel becomes pregnant from her prophecy “God will add another son”. Gen. 35: 16-18; “And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: [ohn; Strong’s # H202-206].  This small word has been used prolifically throughout the Old Testament Hebrew, and it gets translated a number of different ways, but all have a negative, or negating, connotation.  This word is translated most often as ‘iniquity’.  It is a reference to a quality of life that is seen as inferior, or distorted or less than exemplary.  It is obvious from this word that Rachel was lamenting that her ‘iniquity’ had produced this hard birthing in which she died.  She called her ‘added’ son the son of her iniquity; but his father called him Ben-yamin.”  The Hebrew ‘yamin’, Strong’s # H3225, is often used to indicate the ‘right’ versus the ‘left’, although the nature of this word ‘yamin’ is much more complex than just ‘right’ or ‘left’.

When translating this concept into western languages, it most often has the word ‘hand’ added to the text.  However, rarely is the Hebrew word ‘yad’, the hand, ever included in the original text to specify specifically it is referring to a ‘right hand’, versus a left hand.  There are a few such instances, but not many.  By translating this word ‘yamin’ as ‘right hand’ gives a much skewed understanding of the worth of this word ‘yamin’.  Jacob, now contending with his ‘Peniel’ and ‘Israel’ revelations, refused to allow his son to be referred to as ‘iniquitous’, but rather the son of his ‘right’.  Jacob is now seeing himself, and his world, through different eyes, and his character is beginning to show the influence of these influences.  Jacob did not ‘cheat’ Esau out of the birthright blessing.  Esau offered to sell a responsibility that he despised.   Jacob did, however, go along with his mother’s scheme to deceive Isaac into blessing Jacob, thinking he was blessing Esau.  And for this previous act of deceit that his mother conjured up, there would be pain and anguish that he would have to endure on his journey to ‘Israel’.  Just as do we all in our journey to Christ.

In Christ we are all seated, in our Christ mind, at the Right of God.  I have often wondered if the ‘left hand’ of God is inferior to the ‘right hand’ of God.  But the ‘Right’ of God, Our Father, is the position of coming to know Our Father’s Heart, and Mind, and manifesting His nature is the Right thing for His Son, Christ, to do.

Shalom and Shalom, Y’all and may the Right of God be the way you see yourself for ever more.

Our Beloved Brother Alan writes:

The long and arduous journey of Jacob, since fleeing from the presence of his brother Esau some 20+ years previously, has brought him through a long list of encounters and developments that have revealed, in Jacob and to Jacob, that his wit and cunning have been sufficient to permit him to ‘supplant’ most, if not all, obstacles and controversies in his path.  And ‘supplant’ is probably the most illustrative word available to describe Jacob in his relationship with all he encounters on this journey from ‘adam’ to ‘Christ’.

Most dictionary descriptions of ‘supplant’ tend to shade this word as being a devious or dishonest means of succeeding another in a venture or venue.  But the negative connotations most apply to supplant, in my much studied opinion, is driven or formed more by religious bias than critical logic.  There is no moral imperative involved in being more successful in a field of endeavor than others that may have preceded you.  To ‘supplant’ another by being more successful in no way implies deceit or guile.  A supplanting may very well have been derived by malicious cunning or deceit, but the word ‘supplant’ in no way suggests the same.  That conclusion cannot be fairly or honestly assumed.  To supplant one that abandons or vacates or suspends a position of performance or responsibility does not necessarily indicate a motive of deceit or guile.  Such is just the case in the episode of Esau and Jacob.

Esau despised the responsibility of ‘first-born’, and was willing to sell the ‘position’ of ‘first-born’ for a meal of bread and pottage. [Gen. 25:32-34; Heb. 12:16-17].  And even Isaac maligned Jacob in this event, rather than to admit that the first-born Esau had abandoned and despised the responsibility that goes with being ‘first-born’.  ‘First-born’, from the Hebrew language and the culture as well, places the ‘first-born’ into a position of servitude and responsibility where the rest of the family, and the family’s farm and well-being, falls on the shoulders of the ‘first-born’ to hold things together when the proverbial ‘poop hits the fan’.  No place in scripture can I find an example of a chronological ‘first-born’ that actually understands and manifests the responsibility that goes with being ‘first-born’; protector and defender of the family’s inheritance and potential. Only in Christ do we see that the ‘First-Born’ understood, and then accepted with Joy, the response ability that is called for in manifesting the Birth Right that is associated with being the First-Born Son of God, the Wholly Spirit of Truth in Love.

We all, birthed into this physical dimension, arrive here in the form, or limitation, as ‘adam’.  And as ‘adam’, or mankind, we begin our own individual journey in this dimension, learning to navigate the myriad of obstacles and challenges that this physical dimension demands that we experience, and learn to overcome or supplant; either by our own talents, or manipulations or deceits.  The negative spirits and/or energies to which this physical dimension exposes us all tends to cause us to focus on, and put our confidence into, an existence founded upon compromise, cunning or deceit in effort to grasp a “mere meal of bread and pottage”.  And yet, the Wholly Spirit of Truth in Love, that which we refer to as God, never abandons us to a comfort zone of compromise, deceit and deception.  For it is the Goodness of God that leads us to repent of our trust in carnal and selfish motives and attitudes [Rom. 2:4], and put our trust and reliance in the First-Born Identity of Christ, and to yield our motivations and manifestations to the Christ Identity that is the Gift of God to all who believe.

Only The Father can identify, and confirm, the nature and performance of the First-Born.  Being ‘first-born’ chronologically has no benefit to afford or impart a superior spiritual identity or performance.  Only Being First-Born in Spirit can impart a confidence, desire and potential to manifest the Kingdom of God within and without.  When the First-Born of the Spirit of God manifests the Kingdom of God within and without, then indeed “…Thy Kingdom has come, in my earth as it is in Your Heavenly Realm”.

Into this very situation Jacob finds himself as he is departing Laban, and returning “…to the land of your Fathers, and to your kindred”. [Gen. 31:1-3]  And Jacob now is confronted with the realization that he doesn’t know if his brother, Esau, is still planning on killing Jacob because Esau despised the ‘birth-right’, and blames Jacob for purchasing a ‘birth-right’ that Esau had no ability or privilege to sell something he never possessed.  And a mere morsel of bread and pottage could never have separated the ‘birth-right’ from Esau if Esau had ever desired the birth-right, or believed that he was indeed the possessor of a responsibility of ‘first-born’.  By now, more than 20 years have passed, and maybe all have had the privilege of some serious ‘reality check’ in their reckonings and reasonings.

KJV Genesis 31:19 And Laban went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images (teraphim; based on the verb ‘rapha’; to heal, or restore) that were her father’s.

Laban’s clan realizes that Joseph and company have packed up and left ‘Labanville’, and Jacob and his boys are not shepherding Laban’s flocks.  Laban pursues after Jacob to demand an explanation of Jacob’s behavior, and when Laban arrives on the scene, he confronts Jacob with the charge of having stolen his household gods, his ‘teraphim’.  Jacob responds with the following rebuttal to convince Laban that no one in the Jacob camp is guilty of such a crime. KJV Genesis 31:32 “With whomsoever thou findest thy gods, let him not live: before our brethren discern thou what is thine with me, and take it to thee. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them.”

Jacob uttered a death curse against the one that had stolen Laban’s ‘teraphim’; his household gods that he revered as his protectors, restorers and redeemers.  And undoubtedly, in his conversations with his wives, Jacob retold this in the hearing of his wives, while never acknowledging that the words of his mouth may someday become exceedingly bitter, indeed.  Jacob’s words never had the power to exert a death sentence against another, but guilt and anguish are powerful enemies in the mind of one that is struggling to survive physically.  Without question, Rachel lived in guilt for having stolen the household gods of her Father Laban, and continually she heard, ringing in her heart/mind, the words of her husband declaring a death sentence on the one that had stolen Laban’s ‘teraphim’.  And perilous days and times lay ahead, for Rachel was going to be pregnant with her second son, after having pledged in the naming of Joseph that “…YHWH will add (asaph) another son.” [Gen. 30:24]

Don’t Worry About Rejection

Saturday, July 11th, 2020

As I wrote yesterday, “We cannot lose.”  When FATHER formed us in the womb, HE also set aside all the provision for us to complete our individual callings.  In order to be of good courage, we must have this understanding as the chaos continues.

Did this Covid virus take FATHER by surprise?  Of course not!  Where are all the healing evangelists when you really need them?  Clearly, there has been a disconnect with those claiming to have a certain anointing and the lack of fruit we are expecting to come forth from them.

Many of us have suffered rejection by the current system as we have continued on the path known as The Way.  We have been unwilling to conform to rules and standards set forth by the religious system in place.  In Luke chapter 20, Jesus spoke:

9 Jesus taught the people this story:

“Once there was a man who planted a vineyard, then leased it out to tenants and left to go abroad and was away for a long time. 10 When the harvest season arrived, the owner sent one of his servants to the tenants to collect the landowner’s share of the harvest. But the tenants sent him away, beaten and empty-handed. 11 So the owner dispatched another one of his servants to collect his portion. But the tenants treated him the same way. They cursed him, beat him, and sent him away empty-handed. 12 Then the owner sent a third servant, but they brutalized him also with the same treatment. 13 Finally the owner of the vineyard said to his son, ‘Perhaps if I send you, my own cherished son, they will be ashamed of what they’ve done.’

14 “But when the tenants saw the son coming, they schemed among themselves. ‘This is the heir of the vineyard! If we kill him, the inheritance will be ours.’ 15 So they threw the son off the property and killed him.

“I ask you, what do you think the owner of the vineyard will do to those who murdered his son? 16 He will come and destroy them and give his vineyard to another.”

When the people heard this story, they all agreed, “This should never happen!”

17 Jesus looked straight at the people and said, “What do you think this verse means: ‘The worthless, rejected stone has become the cornerstone, the most important stone of all’? 18 Everyone who falls in humility upon that stone will be broken. But if that stone falls on you, it will grind you to pieces!”

19 When the high priests and experts of the law realized that this story was about them, they wanted to have Jesus arrested that very moment, but they were afraid of all the people.

Has anything changed in the last 2,000 years concerning man’s soulish condition?  Men and women will reject you if you don’t conform to their understanding even though they are blinded to the Absolute Truth.  Think not it to be unusual or unexpected for the enemy to rise up when FATHER is in the midst of bringing forth the Great Awakening.  Don’t allow rejection to control your life.  Jesus was rejected by His own people thus He knows exactly what we have experienced.

I shared a video a couple of days ago and many of you have had time to ponder it.  If you are afraid of what may be coming then I suggest you need to press in more and separate yourself from the media.  FATHER cannot and will not lose in any situation.  The devil has been trying to thwart FATHER’S plan for centuries but has failed every single time.  This time will be no different.

What will happen in November?  Whatever happens, I plan for a greater anointing in my life to overcome any obstacle the adversary may bring my way.  I say “Bring it on!”  Once again, we cannot lose.
