Is Heaven sending us signals?

The Bible repeatedly warns that distractions—cares, possessions, pleasures, busyness and misplaced priorities—can draw our attention away from God.  We must not allow distraction to keep us from any signals from Heaven.

I posted recent videos noting the surge of near-death experiences (NDEs) and afterlife accounts in modern times, framing them as a Divine “signal” that we are living in the final generation before the return of Jesus Christ.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Amos chapter 3:

7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” — NKJV

This verse means that before God brought major judgment upon His covenant people, He first revealed His intentions to the prophets so they could warn the people and give them an opportunity to repent.

Israel had enjoyed prosperity but had become corrupt. The wealthy oppressed the poor, justice was distorted, and religious worship continued without genuine obedience. God called Amos to announce that judgment was coming.

Amos 3:3–6 presents a series of cause-and-effect questions: a lion roars because it has prey; a trumpet sounds because danger approaches. Likewise, Amos was prophesying because God had spoken:

“The lion has roared! Who will not fear?
The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” — Amos 3:8

What “His secret” means

The word translated “secret” refers to confidential counsel or a plan shared with trusted servants. God brought His prophets into His counsel and revealed what He intended to do concerning His people.

This does not mean:

• God reveals every detail of everything He does.
• God must obtain a prophet’s permission before acting.
• Every person claiming private revelation genuinely speaks for God.
• Believers should follow modern predictions without testing them against Scripture.

The immediate subject is God’s announced judgment against Israel. Because Israel had received God’s covenant and commandments, it was accountable for its disobedience. God graciously warned the nation through prophets before judgment arrived.

The spiritual principle

God does not delight in surprising people with judgment. He warns, calls for repentance and provides an opportunity to return to Him. Noah was warned before the flood, Moses before the plagues, Jonah before Nineveh’s potential destruction, and Jesus warned Jerusalem of what was coming.

For Christians, God’s clearest and authoritative revelation is Jesus Christ and the written Word. Scripture already reveals God’s plan of salvation, His standards for living, Christ’s return and the final judgment. Therefore, prophetic claims must be tested by Scripture, as instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:20–21 and 1 John 4:1.

The message is: When God reveals danger through His Word, the proper response is not curiosity about prophecy but repentance, faith and obedience.

Prophetic warnings are everywhere.  The final days of the end times are upon us and we must not allow ourselves to be distracted from what FATHER is saying to each of us.

By the way:

In the Hebrew alphabet, the letter ו (vav or waw) has the numerical value 6.

Because the English letter W developed historically from a “double U” and is sometimes associated with the Hebrew vav/waw, some people calculate:

• W = 6
• W = 6
• W = 6
• Therefore, WWW = 666

However, this is not a standard Hebrew gematria calculation. “W” is an English letter, not a Hebrew letter, and www simply means “World Wide Web.” Connecting WWW with the “666” of Revelation 13:18 is an interesting symbolic interpretation.  Is it a coincidence?  Think about it.
