Sick And Tired

Monday, July 18th, 2022

Are you accommodating, tolerating, or adjusting to your sickness or other needs?

Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?  Are you accepting your current situation?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 3:

1   So then what is the importance of circumcision, and what advantage is there of being a Jew?

2 Actually, there are numerous advantages. Most important, God distinguished the Jews from all other people by entrusting them with the revelation of His prophetic promises.

3 But what if some were unfaithful to their Divine calling? Does their unbelief weaken God’s faithfulness?

4 Absolutely not! God will always be proven faithful and true to His Word, while people are proven to be liars. This will fulfill what was written in the Scriptures: Your Words will always be vindicated and You will rise victorious when You are being tried by your critics!

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 2:

10  But when we do what pleases God, we can expect unfading glory, true honor, and a continual peace—to the Jew first and also to the non-Jew,

11 for God sees us all without partiality. (For there is no partiality with God)

How committed are you to walking in the promises of Our Loving Heavenly Father?  HIS Word is true and the world would have us believe otherwise by providing us with alternatives of tolerance.

For example, the world’s solution to prosperity for the average person is a thirty year mortgage loan for a house.  FATHER’S solution is to be blessed and prosper to the point where you don’t need a mortgage.  Is HE against mortgages?  No, HE told us that we would be lenders rather than borrowers so borrowers are not in sin.  However, HE will provide you and me with a way out of debt.  HE has done that in my life and HE will do it for you.  HE is not partial to me as Paul stated above.

If you are in need, it is time to no longer tolerate your situation.

Mark recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 5:

25 Now, in the crowd that day was a woman who had suffered horribly from continual bleeding for twelve years.

26 She had endured a great deal under the care of various doctors, yet in spite of spending all she had on their treatments, she was not getting better, but worse.

27 When she heard about Jesus’ healing power, she pushed through the crowd and came up from behind him and touched his prayer shawl.

28 For she kept saying to herself, “If only I could touch his clothes, I know I will be healed.”

29 As soon as her hand touched him, her bleeding immediately stopped! She knew it, for she could feel her body instantly being healed of her disease!

30 Jesus knew at once that someone had touched him, for he felt the power that always surged around him had passed through him for someone to be healed. He turned and spoke to the crowd, saying, “Who touched my clothes?”

31 His disciples answered, “What do you mean, who touched you? Look at this huge crowd—they’re all pressing up against you.”

32 But Jesus’ eyes swept across the crowd, looking for the one who had touched him for healing.

33 When the woman who experienced this miracle realized what had happened to her, she came before him, trembling with fear, and threw herself down at his feet, saying, “I was the one who touched you.” And she told him her story of what had just happened.

34 Then Jesus said to her, “Daughter, because you dared to believe, your faith has healed you. Go with peace in your heart, and be free from your suffering!

The woman spent twelve years and all her financial resources attempting to be healed by the world’s methods.  Clearly, those doctors were practicing on her to the point where she was now broke financially.  Sound familiar?  Enough was enough and she was determined to be healed

Do you dare to believe?

What caused this woman to believe Jesus could heal her?  We find the answer in Matthew’s account when he recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 9:

2  Just then some people brought a paraplegic man to him, lying on a sleeping mat. When Jesus perceived the strong faith within their hearts, He said to the paralyzed man, “My son, be encouraged, for your sins have been forgiven.”

3 These words prompted some of the religious scholars who were present to think, “Why, that’s nothing but blasphemy!”

4 Jesus supernaturally perceived their thoughts, and said to them, “Why do you carry such evil in your hearts?

5 Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or, ‘Stand up and walk!’? [6] But now, to convince you that the Son of Man has been given authority to forgive sins, I say to this man, ‘Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk home.’”

7 Immediately the man sprang to his feet and left for home.

8 When the crowds witnessed this miracle, they were awestruck. They shouted praises to God because He had given such authority to human beings.

The woman was in the crowd and saw the miracle of healing take place.  She heard The Words of Jesus which produced faith in her heart thus she was now prepared to receive her healing as well.  She was sick and tired of being sick and tired so she did something about even though the Law said to stay away from the crowds.

Interactions With Others

Sunday, July 17th, 2022

Let unconditional Love and humility be the foundation of your interactions with others.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

9  Let the inner movement of your heart always be to Love one another, and never play the role of an actor wearing a mask. Despise evil and embrace everything that is good and virtuous.

10 Be devoted to tenderly Loving your fellow believers as members of one family. Try to outdo yourselves in respect and honor of one another.

11 Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward Him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let Him fill You with excitement as you serve Him.

12 Let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don’t give up in a time of trouble, but commune with God at all times.

There is trouble ahead for the masses but we are to let our lights shine with joy in our hearts to encourage those with whom we come into contact.

13 Take a constant interest in the needs of God’s beloved people and respond by helping them. And eagerly welcome people as guests into your home.

This is what our Kids In Need focus is all about.  It is all about helping them.

14 Speak blessing, not cursing, over those who reject and persecute you.

Our words are powerful thus we need to watch our words concerning ourselves and others.

15 Celebrate with those who celebrate, and weep with those who grieve.

16 Live happily together in a spirit of harmony, and be as mindful of another’s worth as you are your own. Don’t live with a lofty mind-set, thinking you are too important to serve others, but be willing to do menial tasks and identify with those who are humble minded. Don’t be smug or even think for a moment that you know it all.

We need to walk in humility rather than boasting of our past achievements!

17 Never hold a grudge or try to get even, but plan your life around the noblest way to benefit others.

18 Do your best to live as everybody’s friend.

We must not allow ourselves to focus on “getting even” with those who try to harm us in any way.  Let FATHER evoke righteous justice:

19 Beloved, don’t be obsessed with taking revenge, but leave that to God’s righteous justice. For the Scriptures say: “If you don’t take justice in your own hands, I will release justice for you,” says the Lord.

20 And: If your enemy is hungry, buy him lunch! Win him over with kindness. For your surprising generosity will awaken his conscience, and God will reward you with favor.

21 Never let evil defeat you, but defeat evil with good.

Concerning verse 19, FATHER spoke in Deuteronomy chapter 32:

35 “Vengeance is Mine, and recompense;

Their foot shall slip in due time;

For the day of their calamity is at hand,

And the things to come hasten upon them.”

I have walked by this Truth and have seen FATHER’S righteous justice in action.

The Simplicity

Saturday, July 16th, 2022

Pursue the simplicity that is in Christ.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 6:

11Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!

The word strategy means: a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim.  The accuser uses evil strategies against you and me to keep us from furthering the Kingdom of GOD on earth.  However, FATHER knows his strategies and prepares those who are willing to be led by The Holy Spirit.  This allows the Sons and daughters to navigate through all the evil strategies of the adversary and his minions.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 11:

3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Over the last five decades I have been involved in the world’s financial and information technology environments.  This has allowed me to have a firsthand view and participation in building complexity under the premise of achieving simplicity to targeted participants.  What is the end result?  It is becoming an extreme level of complexity in all areas and there are greater points of failure than ever before.

Enough is enough!  Do we need a digital form of currency?  No, it simply allows those in control to enslave the masses with a single keystroke.  Digital purchases keep the buyers from seeing true value of money leaving their hands until they see their monthly statement.

Do we need to buy a car from a cell phone?  No, we need to take the time to drive and assess any and all purchases to see if The Holy Spirit wants us to make the purchase.  Otherwise, it can be a soulish purchase to tweak the ego.

The Internet is a great tool when used for the proper intent.  We must be watchful to not allow the Internet to take our focus away from The Spiritual.  Your web browser uses your searches to their benefit.  How do you think Google has become the major media company?  They generate money by pointing you to their sources of revenue.  Solution?  A righteous government should provide users with a non-commercial means to access, browse, and search the Internet.  The keyword is righteous.  Until then, we must be vigilant in our usage of technology, especially phones and connected devices.

The Spiritual bypasses all of this complexity.  Think about it!

Addressing Israel

Friday, July 15th, 2022

Our Heavenly Father’s Love is constant and unconditional. You can count on HIS Love no matter where you are at in your relationship with HIM.  Israel is an excellent example.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 11:

25 My Beloved brothers and sisters, I want to share with you a mystery concerning Israel’s future. For understanding this mystery will keep you from thinking you already know everything. A partial and temporary hardening to the Gospel has come over Israel, which will last until the full number of non-Jews has come into God’s family.

26 And then God will bring all of Israel to salvation! The prophecy will be fulfilled that says: “Coming from Zion will be the Savior, and he will turn Jacob away from evil.

27 For this is My covenant promise with them when I forgive their sins.”

28 Now, many of the Jews are opposed to the Gospel, but their opposition has opened the door of the Gospel to you who are not Jewish. Yet they are still greatly Loved by God because their ancestors were Divinely chosen to be His.

29 And when God chooses someone and graciously imparts gifts to him, they are never rescinded.

There are some who have wrongly assumed that FATHER has totally separated Himself from Israel so they have tried to step in and participate in the three major feasts each year.  They think that they are now the sole remnant and FATHER will somehow anoint them above all others.  One must inspect the fruit to see how successful they are.  Has all power and authority been given solely to them?

30 You who are not Jews were once rebels against God, but now, because of their disobedience, you have experienced God’s tender mercies.

31 And now they are the rebels, and because of God’s tender mercies to you, you can open the door to them to share in and enjoy what God has given to us!

We are to minister to all mankind, including the Jews.  FATHER so Loved all mankind that He gave His Son for all to come to Him.

32 Actually, God considers all of humanity to be prisoners of their unbelief, so that He can unlock our hearts and show His tender mercies to all who come to Him.

This is what Agape Love does!

33 Who could ever wrap their minds around the riches of God, the depth of His wisdom, and the marvel of His perfect knowledge? Who could ever explain the wonder of His decisions or search out the mysterious way He carries out his plans? 34 For who has discovered how the Lord thinks or is wise enough to be the one to advise Him in his plans?

35 Or: “Who has ever first given something to God that obligates God to owe him something in return?”

36 And because God is the Source and Sustainer of everything, everything finds fulfillment in Him. May all praise and honor be given to Him forever! Amen!

Now that we understand Love’s Divine Intent, are there any questions about Israel or other who do not believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior?

Do Not Neglect The Spiritual

Thursday, July 14th, 2022

Our Heavenly Father’s Love is constant.  Everything on this earth is temporary in one form or another.  These are Truths you can count on!

I was around in the 1970’s when interest rates soared to the 15% range and higher.  The word mortgage means death’s grip and its definition has not changed thus is still relevant.

The graph below provides a picture of the growth of global debt since the early 1970’s when inflation was curbed by Paul Volker of the Federal Reserve raised rates in order to fight it. Those times were difficult for many but today’s financial issues are much greater for those in debt.

I don’t expect you to fully understand the details in this graph but we should understand the following:

High debt is bad.

Low/no debt is good.

Global debt has grown from 100% of all global output in a year to 256%.  That is bad.  You and I would have trouble borrowing money if our debt to income ratio had soared in a similar manner.

Once debt reaches these levels and at the same time, interest rates are pushed upward, something is going to break globally.  This is not about instilling fear but to prepare you for the unexpected… and it can happen overnight or over a weekend.

Our focus should be on the Spiritual rather than on the physical.  If you do not focus on the Spiritual, your heart will become hardened and your faith will shrink.

Mark wrote by The Holy Spirit in Mark chapter 6:

Mark 6:

45 After everyone had their meal, Jesus instructed His disciples to get back into the boat and go on ahead of Him and sail to the other side to Bethsaida.

46 So He dispersed the crowd, said good-bye to his disciples, then slipped away to pray on the mountain.

47 As night fell, the boat was in the middle of the lake and Jesus was alone on land.

48 The wind was against the disciples and He could see that they were straining at the oars, trying to make headway. When it was almost morning, Jesus came to them, walking on the surface of the water, and He started to pass by them.

49 When they all saw Him walking on the waves, they thought He was a ghost and screamed out in terror. But He said to them at once, “Don’t yield to fear. Have courage. It’s really Me— I Am!”

51 Then He came closer and climbed into the boat with them, and immediately the stormy wind became still. They were completely and utterly overwhelmed with astonishment

52 because they failed to learn the lesson of the miracle of the loaves, and their hearts were unwilling to learn the lesson.

The disciples allowed the storm to rob their focus and their hearts were hardened.  They failed to embrace the feeding of the five thousand.  We must focus our attention on The Word knowing that storms are on the horizon.  Let us protect our hearts and expect miracles to happen to us, for us, and around us.

And He Did!

Wednesday, July 13th, 2022

Our Heavenly Father’s Love is constant.  This is a Truth you can count on!

In problem solving, you differentiate and separate the constants from the variables.  If you and I are dealing with issues such as health or finances, we must identify the variable keeping us from being blessed.  I can easily identify the variable… look in the mirror.

Each one of us has to change and mature in The Word.  As we do, we will be able to see and hear the spiritual in a more sensitive manner.  We must quit blaming someone or something external to us as though we are the victims.  An overcomer is not a victim.

The following Psalm provides us with a picture of FATHER’S constant Love.  It is important to read each verse slowly and not skim through this Psalm.  Don’t be in a hurry or you will not receive the fullness contained therein.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 107:

1  Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord! Here’s why—He’s better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, He’s always loving and kind, and His faithful Love never ends.

2 So, go ahead—let everyone know it! Tell the world how He broke through and delivered you from the power of darkness and has gathered us together from all over the world. He has set us free to be His very own!

4 Some of us once wandered in the wilderness like desert nomads, with no true direction or dwelling place.

5 Starving, thirsting, staggering, we became desperate and filled with despair.

6 Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And He did!

7 He led us right into a place of safety and abundance, a suitable city to dwell in.

8 So lift your hands and thank God for His marvelous kindness and for all His miracles of mercy for those He Loves.

9 How he satisfies the souls of thirsty ones and fills the hungry with all that is good!

10 Some of us once sat in darkness, living in the dark shadows of death. We were prisoners to our pain, chained to our regrets.

11 For we rebelled against God’s Word and rejected the wise counsel of God Most High.

12 So He humbled us through our circumstances, watching us as we stumbled, with no one there to pick us back up. Our own pain became our punishment.

13 Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And He did!

14 His Light broke through the darkness and He led us out in freedom from death’s dark shadow and snapped every one of our chains.

15 So lift your hands and give thanks to God for His marvelous kindness and for His miracles of mercy for those he loves!

16 For He smashed through heavy prison doors and shattered the steel bars that held us back, just to set us free!

17 Some of us were such fools, bringing on ourselves sorrow and suffering all because of our sins.

18 Sick and feeble, unable to stand the sight of food, we drew near to the gates of death.

19 Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And He did!

20 God spoke the Words “Be healed,” and we were healed, delivered from death’s door!

21 So lift your hands and give thanks to God for His marvelous kindness and for His miracles of mercy for those He Loves!

22 Bring your praise as an offering and your thanks as a sacrifice as you sing your story of miracles with a joyful song.

23 Some of us set sail upon the sea to faraway ports, transporting our goods from ship to shore.

24 We were witnesses of God’s power out in the ocean deep; we saw breathtaking wonders upon the high seas.

25 When God spoke He stirred up a storm, lifting high the waves with hurricane winds.

26 Ships were tossed by swelling sea, rising to the sky, then dropping down to the depths, reeling like drunkards, spinning like tops, everyone at their wits’ end until even sailors despaired of life, cringing in terror.

28 Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And He did!

29 God stilled the storm, calmed the waves, and He hushed the hurricane winds to only a whisper.

30 We were so relieved, so glad as He guided us safely to harbor in a quiet haven. 31 So lift your hands and give thanks to God for his marvelous kindness and for his miracles of mercy for those He Loves!

32 Let’s exalt Him on high and lift up our praises in public; let all the people and the leaders of the nation know how great and wonderful is Yahweh, our God!

33 Whenever he chooses He can dry up a river and turn the land into a desert.

34 Or He can take a fruitful land and make it into a saltwater swamp, all because of the wickedness of those who dwell there.

35 But He also can turn a barren wilderness into an oasis with water! He can make springs flow into desert lands

36 and turn them into fertile valleys so that cities spring up, and He gives it all to those who are hungry.

37 They can plant their fields and vineyards there and reap a bumper crop and gather a fruitful harvest.

38 God will bless them and cause them to multiply and prosper.

39 But others will become poor, humbled because of their oppression, tyranny, and sorrows.

40 For God pours contempt upon their arrogant abuse of power, heaping scorn upon their princes, and makes them wander among ruins.

41 But He raises up the poor and lowly with his favor, giving them a safe place to live where no one can touch them. God will grant them a large family and bless them!

42 The Lovers of God will rejoice when they see this. Good men are glad when the evil ones are silenced.

43 If you are truly wise, you’ll learn from what I’ve told you. It’s time for you to consider these profound lessons of God’s great Love and mercy!

The final verse sums it up!

Removing The Disconnect

Tuesday, July 12th, 2022

Faith is based on knowledge.  We must no longer allow a disconnect to keep us from accessing and experiencing the Power of GOD in us.

Each one of us has the potential residing on the inside of us.  We must eliminate the disconnect between our current understanding and the revelation given to us by FATHER through HIS Word.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 1:

Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by HIS Divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him Who has called us by name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.

It is vital that we quit looking at the external and physical but rather have faith in the Divine power deposited within each of us.  Both Paul (Ephesians 1) and Peter were used by The Holy Spirit to express this Truth.

4 As a result of this, He has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the Divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

The Holy Spirit is instructing us to direct our focus so that we will appropriate that Divine power deposited within us.  What does “beyond all price” mean to you?  What is more valuable than anything the world has to offer?  Shouldn’t you and I be pursuing this Eternal treasure at all cost?  What will we do with It when we finally access it by overcoming the soul and the body?  We are to walk in Agape Love and minister to others in all areas thus establishing the Kingdom on earth.

5   So devote yourselves to lavishly supplementing your faith with goodness, and to goodness add understanding,

6 and to understanding add the strength of self-control, and to self-control add patient endurance, and to patient endurance add godliness,

7 and to godliness add mercy toward your brothers and sisters, and to mercy toward others add unending Love.

8 Since these virtues are already planted deep within, and you possess them in abundant supply, they will keep you from being inactive or fruitless in your pursuit of knowing Jesus Christ more intimately.

It is all about accessing what already exists within us.

Faith is voice-activated:

It is written by Wisdom in Proverbs chapter 4:

22 Then, as you unwrap My Words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.

And in Proverbs chapter 18:

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Potential is converted to manifestation by exercise.  As I confess The Word, my faith increases and abounds.  I tell my mind who is really in charge.  As my mind aligns with my spirit, my body responds.  Since angels only respond to The Word, they are activated on our behalf to bring forth needed resources to further our walk IN HIM.

FATHER’S plan is straightforward and will succeed for each of us as we respond to the unadulterated Word.  If we truly know FATHER’S Heart and Intent, we know that we cannot lose if we will only follow the directives of The Holy Spirit.

Do Not Ignore Reality

Monday, July 11th, 2022

You can ignore reality but you cannot ignore the consequence of reality.  Wrong thinking producing wrong believing.

Most believers are waiting for GOD to act on their behalf to fulfill needs in one or more areas of their life.  I must admit that for many years, I counted myself among them.  The teaching I received was incomplete and did not focus on passages such as the one above.

The fivefold ministry was not living the fullness of what FATHER provided for us so they did not teach such fullness.  Their bias was based on their own past experience rather than fully trusting in what The Word was revealing to those who sought full understanding.  I am not critical of them but simply making an observation of history.

James Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in his epistle chapter 1:

3   For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things.

4   And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.

Trials and tribulations will come to every one of us in one form or another.  I know I have had my share.  It is easy to give up and move toward a passive/submissive state and succumb to the trial.  However, we must not let ourselves accept failure when it comes to our faith being tested.

FATHER has revealed through HIS Word that the power resides on the inside of us thus we are to access this power by faith.  I know that it is easier said than done!

I was a jogger for years and about ten years ago, my daughter wanted to run a half-marathon (13.1 miles), it was on her bucket list.  I told her that I would train and run with her.  The most I had run at one time was a 10K race (6 miles).  Runners know that they will come against the proverbial wall when the body cries out for you to quit during a long run.  I experienced that myself at about mile 7.  You have to take command over your body and press on.  Some runners give in and simply stop or walk.  If you have faith that your body will respond, you press on.  I know this to be true.  I finished four half-marathons and called it “good”.  I saw that it was easy to become obsessed with such activity and FATHER had another “corrective” interview with me.  It is easy to lose focus on the Spiritual when you direct your focus on the physical… with intensity.  My mistake!

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Jeremiah 17:

10 I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

We must guard our intent in everything we set our hand to.  This is why we must renew our minds daily so that our intent stays aligned with FATHER.  We must keep HIS Word before us at all times in order to test our focus.

Jesus spoke in John 15:

5 “I am the sprouting vine and you’re My branches. As you live in union with Me as your Source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from Me you are powerless.”

When our minds are in complete union with Jesus, our fruit abounds.  To the degree that our focus has been diverted, our fruit will be lacking.  Let us not ignore the reality of that Truth.

It Is All About The Eternal

Sunday, July 10th, 2022

The pathway to full maturity as Sons and Daughters includes trials and tribulation.  They will strengthen those who are committed to this level of maturity.  Paul was and so am I, are you?  I must teach on the flame of Good News!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 4:

1  Now, it’s because of God’s mercy that we have been entrusted with the privilege of this new covenant ministry. And we will not quit or faint with weariness. 2 We reject every shameful cover-up and refuse to resort to cunning trickery or distorting the Word of God. Instead, we open up our souls to you by presenting the Truth to everyone’s conscience in the sight and presence of God.

There is much to reject these days, more so than in the last fifty plus years of walk with MY LORD.  I see cunning trickery throughout the earth as the nefarious ones try to brainwash the masses into believing lies.  Real Truth only comes from The Word of GOD whether written or spoken.

3 Even if our Gospel message is veiled, it is only veiled to those who are perishing, 4 for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the wonderful news of the glory of Jesus Christ, who is the divine image of God.

You become like the company you keep is so true.  Everyone has a bias in their thoughts and actions and want to reassure themselves by having others agree with them even though they are walking in unrighteousness.

5 We don’t preach ourselves, but rather the lordship of Jesus Christ, for we are your servants for Jesus’ sake.

6 For God, Who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the One Who has cascaded His Light into us—the brilliant dawning Light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.

7 We are like common clay jars that carry this Glorious Treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s, not ours.

It is all about Jesus Christ, the power deposited in us by Our Heavenly Father, and being directed by The Holy Spirit.  The adversary’s minions recognize who has taken the Highway of Holiness thus they are attempting to knock us of that path.  Paul recognized the challenges we face:

8 Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option.

9 We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.

10 We continually share in the death of Jesus in our own bodies so that the resurrection life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity.

11 We consider living to mean that we are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake so that the life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity.

12 So, then, death is at work in us but it releases life in you.

The main objective of starting a race is to cross the finish line.  I was one of twelve men asked to participate in a Bible Law project in 1998 which included publishing the project on the Internet.  One by one they dropped out with various excuses.  My partner and I were the only ones left to complete the project which was published at the end of 1999.  Was it convenient?  No.  Was it overwhelming at times?  Yes.  FATHER knows those who are promise keepers when HE gives out tasks and projects to accomplish.  Am I special?  No, but I am tenacious.  Paul was too.

13 We have the same Spirit of faith that is described in the Scriptures when it says, “First I believed, then I spoke in faith.” So we also first believe then speak in faith. 14 We do this because we are convinced that HE WHO raised Jesus will raise us up with Him, and together we will all be brought into HIS Presence.

15 Yes, all things work for your enrichment so that more of God’s marvelous grace will spread to more and more people, resulting in an even greater increase of praise to God, bringing HIM even more glory!

You and I must change, moving toward greater maturity in Christ each day so that we will fulfill verse 15.

16 So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day.

17 We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison,

18 because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is Eternal.

As I grow older, the above hits close to home.  However, I focus on the Eternal and I suggest you do too, no matter what stage in life you are currently in.  It is all about the Eternal which is permanent rather than the temporary and Love must be our motivation.

Sowing And Reaping

Saturday, July 9th, 2022

You sow before you expect a harvest.  It is no different when you give.  You must give before you can expect a return whether it be thirty, sixty, or a hundredfold return.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Deuteronomy chapter 15:

10 You shall freely and generously give to him (the poor), and your heart shall not be resentful when you give to him, because for this [generous] thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all your undertakings. 11 For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy, and to your poor in your land.’

Throughout Scripture, we are urged to give.  As we sow into others, the beneficial Law of sowing and reaping takes effect in our lives.  We should not give to get but instead we are to get to give so that we can expand The Kingdom throughout the earth.  Shouldn’t Kingdom expansion be our focus?

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in 3rd John:

2 Beloved friend, I pray that you are prospering in every way and that you continually enjoy good health, just as your soul is prospering.

The word “just” means:

exactly

precisely

absolutely

completely

totally

entirely

Jesus wants our soul to prosper so that we will be blessed in all areas and in every way.  How will our soul prosper?  Paul answers this as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

As we renew our minds daily with The Word, our souls will prosper to the point of proving what the perfect Will of Our Heavenly Father is for each of us.  It is our reasonable service to FATHER to present ourselves daily.  Living a life of passivity is not acceptable in HIS Eyes.  Jesus did not come to the earth just to sit around and do nothing.  He consistently ministered to those in need.  We are to do the same.

Let us sow into other people’s lives and our seed will multiply as will our realm of influence.  Let our firstfruits honor Our Heavenly Father as one aspect of worship.  I can testify that as my wife and I sow generously, we reap an abundant harvest resulting in an increase in our giving.
