Turn And Live!

Thursday, March 15th, 2018

FATHER spoke in Ezekiel chapter 18:

30 “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord GOD. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.

31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?

32 For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord GOD. “Therefore turn and live!”

FATHER takes no pleasure in anyone’s death or destruction yet the adversary’s desire is to steal, kill, and destroy.  Jesus reaffirmed FATHER’S Will when He spoke in Luke chapter 12:

32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

The issue each of us faces is that of trust.  We display our trust in man’s law when we drive on the streets and highways expecting the opposing traffic to remain on their side of the road.  We trust in gravity to continue its job of keeping us on this planet, yet we have difficulty in fully trusting in all of FATHER’S promises.  The adversary attempts to put doubt in our hearts about those promises so we will not stand firm awaiting the manifestation.  Once we have been blessed with the manifested results of FATHER’S promises, we no longer give any consideration to the opposition.

FATHER has continually express HIS Divine Intent that no one should perish but ALL should have everlasting life.  Mankind has tries to reduce “ALL” to “some”, usually the privileged.  FATHER’S capacity to Love is much greater than all of creation thus none of us are to be left out.  John the Baptist had this revelation when he spoke by THE SPIRIT in John chapter 1:

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

The world includes all of us born into the world, without exception.  Jesus died for the ungodly which include you, me, and everyone else born on this earth.  The one thing we must do is “repent” or turn from our wicked ways and accept Our Lord Jesus Christ in order to receive eternal life.  Why would anyone take a chance and challenge this path?  Only those who are blinded to the reality of what is being offered.  Their ego has convinced of lies and doctrines which have no Truth in them.  Man can attempt to redefine reality all he wants but it will not change the Truth or the facts.

We must be careful when it comes to the cares of the world.  The news media wants to “hook” us into focusing on their programming all day long.  They attempt to tweak our emotions by the constant “breaking news” in order to draw us away from what is really important in the long run.  We are responsible for our time on a daily basis and if we focus on everything else but FATHER’S Word, then we will ultimately grow cold.  This is why I begin the day in study and meditation of HIS Word.  HE will share topics of importance to my walk and answer nagging questions.  The result is peace.

We must ask ourselves if what we are focusing on will make a difference in our lives a year from now.  If not, maybe it is time to reassess our priorities.  If we find ourselves off the path leading to spiritual maturity, then let us turn away from that alternative path, return to The Way, and live!

Above All

Wednesday, March 14th, 2018

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 3 John:

2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.

3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walk in the truth.

4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

As we walk in Love and Truth, we should expect to prosper in all aspects of our walk.  Further, we should expect to be in good health and if anything comes against us, we will recover and be restored.  These promises are tied to our soul prospering.

The verb prosper means to do well, succeed, or thrive.  Our mind, will, and emotions are doing well when we are at peace and have fully placed our trust in FATHER, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and The Most Holy Spirit.  The Word is preeminent in our life and we are not fretful about the future because we know FATHER will cause us to prosper.  John, the Beloved Disciple, knew this to be the case when he wrote “above all”.

Adam and Eve fell because the distrusted FATHER’S Word to them and this distrust opened the door to sin and sickness in all of mankind.  Their souls no longer prospered but became enslaved to the sin nature.  Their mistrust perpetuated an existence where the ego began to reign in this state of mistrust.  The soul was not at peace and began to realize a life of scarcity.  This motivated men to war after possessions of others.  The earth was not at peace.  Jesus’ sacrifice at the cross has provided for the removal of the enslavement to sin and has provided The Way to full restoration so that our soul can be a peace.

When our souls prospers, we are at peace.  No matter what circumstances arise, we are not moved because we know FATHER’S Divine Intent is for us to prosper in our daily walk.  We are no longer anxious about anything but we walk in peace, even among our enemies.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

What is the purpose of us prospering?  We are to bear much fruit resulting in us being Jesus’ disciples.  Our prosperity is not meant to consume it on ourselves at the expense of others.  We are to share prosperity in a manner which promotes the Kingdom of Our Heavenly Father on earth.  Our desires are predicated on HIS Word abiding in us and this means that we are walking according to FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love.

FATHER is glorified when you and I bear much fruit.  Let our word and actions promote a fruitful harvest on behalf of the Kingdom.  In order to maximize our harvest, we need to prosper, be in good health, and our soul needs to be well and thriving.  When we are in this state, we will bear much fruit.  Above all, let us focus our time and energy to further the Kingdom by walking in Love and the Truth of The Word.  We can then expect a bountiful harvest.

The Sons

Tuesday, March 13th, 2018

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, chapter 14:

1 Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.

2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.

3 They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.

4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

5 And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Everyone who has studied Scripture wants to be counted among the 144,000 Sons (sons and daughters).  Often, they look to align themselves with groups of believers who have discovered this group mentioned in the above passage as though they will become qualified by their membership.  There are religions who lay claim to the 144,000 and if you don’t belong to their church, you are out of luck.  FATHER is not moved by man’s doctrines or bias.  FATHER will select each of this group based on the individual’s  maturity and fruitfulness.

To be pleasing unto FATHER we must change internally rather than expect our membership in a group to be the deciding factor in qualifying as one of the sons.  We must place our trust in the Blood of Jesus Christ (the Lamb), unconditionally Love all, and walk in mature faith by fully trusting FATHER’S Word.  Many will begin the process of maturing, but most will fall away and allow the cares of the world to enter in and choke the Word.  It takes commitment and perseverance to come to full maturity.  These writings are intended to serve as an encouragement to those who are willing to sacrifice all and wholly follow Jesus Christ and become one of His disciples.

The reward for becoming a mature Son or Daughter is immense.  FATHER promises a long life in Psalm 91:

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

A mature son understands that there will be adversity and trials but knows FATHER will deliver him out of all the challenges set before him.  FATHER’S redemptive promises will become operational in his life and he will walk with sufficiency, healing, and restoration as the adversary attempts to challenge his (or her) calling.  This disciple of Jesus Christ is no longer moved by circumstances but is only moved by FATHER’S Word.  As he proceeds in his calling, he becomes a beacon of light to help guide others toward salvation and the other redemptive promises.

Upon their maturity, the Sons are able to fulfill the commission expressed by Jesus Christ in Mark chapter 16:

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

As each of us individually matures, we become equipped to fulfill this great commission.  Let us not deviate from our commitment toward full maturity as Sons and Daughters of THE MOST HIGH.

The Source Of Sickness And Disease

Monday, March 12th, 2018

We must first ask the question- Can a believer get sick or have a disease?  Absolutely, just look around, the clinics and hospitals are full of believers dealing with some form of sickness or disease.  Many believers die from complications of their disease.  Are we to be critical of them?  No, Jesus never criticized anyone who was in need of healing but instead because of His Love, he healed all who were oppressed of the devil.  We should not condemn ourselves when we get sick but rather we should ask FATHER to show us the issue concerning our infirmity.  Most often, we are “void” of HIS Word in this area and I speak from personal experience.  We need FATHER’S wisdom in dealing with our specific situation.

A parent desires the best for his or her child and wants complete and total recovery from any sickness or disease afflicting the child.  FATHER is no different so HE gave us HIS Word to deal with our infirmities and HE also confirmed HIS Divine Intent when HE sent HIS Son to heal all who were afflicted.  The source of sickness and disease is spiritual even though we tend to focus only on the physical.  In Luke chapter 13, Jesus provides us revelation of this Truth:

10 Now He (Jesus) was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.”

13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

As my friend Dr. Speckhart would say, “The body is designed to live forever” and “It is designed to heal itself.”  There was no sickness or disease prior to the fall of man and we read in Genesis that it took a long time for the body to respond to death due to the entrance of sin.  Jesus’ work on the cross is a Spiritual work and includes redemption from sickness and disease.  We must come to the realization that the source of sickness and disease is not at the physical level but address it at the spiritual level.  We read in Job chapter 2:

7 So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

What about medical treatment?  FATHER has no issue with us getting our symptoms treated while we are building up our faith and getting revelation from HIM concerning the root of the problem.  He spoke to me when I was dealing with an infirmity in response to my question- “Why didn’t YOU heal me when I prayed?”  HE said, “Because I Love you and your faith was weak, I needed to sustain you until your faith could once again grow strong.  That is why I told you to do exactly what the doctor instructed.”  Ponder what HE said to me.  HE has no issue with us relieving our symptoms and receiving treatment by medical professionals.  Jesus did not criticize the woman who suffered for eighteen years.

In order for us to address sickness and disease, we must have revelation of its source and direct our faith accordingly.  Satan is the source of sickness and disease and it begins in the spiritual realm.  FATHER gave us an immune system to guard against disease.  However, there is a “life” in a virus that directs destruction inside our body and we must speak against it just as Jesus spoke to the removal of the infirmity from the woman.  Peter spoke by THE SPIRIT in Acts chapter 10:

38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Jesus’ body was subject to sickness and disease yet He never got sick.  He laid hands on people with various diseases, some contagious, but He never contracted their disease.  His faith was greater than their disease and He knew how to deal with the root problem.  The various spirits were subject to Him and they responded to His Word and action.  Jesus was challenged by the synagogue official concerning the woman’s healing on the Sabbath:

14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”

15 The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite!  Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”

17 And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.

There should be no question about the source of infirmities based on Jesus’ own words, she was bound by Satan.  Let us deal with the root of sickness and disease rather than just the physical symptoms.  There is no true cure for disease if we don’t deal with the spiritual root cause.  The woman suffered for eighteen years but when she heard the Words of Jesus, her faith aligned with Him and she responded to His command “you are loosed from your infirmity.”   FATHER, open our eyes to this revelation so that Your Love can minister the true solution to those infirmities plaguing Your sons and daughters, Amen!

Is Knowledge By Itself Enough?

Sunday, March 11th, 2018

Knowledge alone does not resolve issues else the world would be at peace.  There is more knowledge around the globe than any time in history yet turmoil and chaos abound in virtually every nation.  What is lacking?  Wisdom.  In Proverbs chapter 4 The Spirit wrote:

7 Wisdom is the principal (first) thing; Therefore get wisdom.

And in all your getting, get understanding.

8 Exalt her, and she will promote you;

She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.

9 She will place on your head an ornament of grace;

A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”

Wisdom only comes from Our Heavenly Father.  You cannot get it from books or other man-generated materials even though men attempt to immerse themselves in so-called self-help, motivational, or success-based materials.  Wisdom does not come with old age and is not withheld from the young.  In Proverb chapter 2:

6 For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;

7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;

FATHER reveals that HE is the Source of wisdom, understanding, and appropriate knowledge.  Revelation is only obtained through our relationship with FATHER, not by surfing the Internet or spending hours in the local library.  FATHER tells us the first thing to seek is wisdom, then understanding and knowledge.  Getting knowledge without wisdom will produce an inferior result and sometimes destruction will be the outcome.

8 He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints.

9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path.

10 When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,

11 Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,

12 To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things

Wisdom guards us from evil and prevents us from proceeding down a wrong path by showing us “The Way” of Jesus Christ.  It acts to preserve us and deliver us from evil as well as the perversity which prevails in many areas of society today.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 1:

30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption

When we walk according to The Way of Jesus Christ, we become wisdom as well.  As Jesus is one with FATHER, so are we to become one with FATHER.  Love wants to give wisdom to those who will receive and properly dispense it.  If there is anything this world needs, it is wisdom from Above.  If we are having a problem with family, our job, finances, or relationships, it is actually a wisdom problem.  Wisdom will guide us into peace and success as we deal with the issues of life.  Those without wisdom tend to live their lives from one crisis to another and are always dealing with some type of scarcity.  Jesus Christ Who is the Wisdom of GOD has the answer to very need and every question so we should seek Wisdom from Above, not the latest self-help book or seminar.

In Proverbs chapter 8, Wisdom speaks:

12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion.

And…

17 I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

18 Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness.

As we seek to be close to FATHER and HIS Most Holy Son, wisdom will come forth in our lives.  As we walk in Love and act in faith, wisdom will assure us we are on the right path and guide us through the turmoil and chaos all around us.  Given this Truth, why would we seek answers elsewhere?

Glorifying FATHER

Saturday, March 10th, 2018

In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus spoke:

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

As believers, we should be glorifying Our Heavenly Father by doing good works.  We should not only testify of HIS Love for mankind but we should show HIS Love by our acts toward others.  If every believer would perform at least one act of unconditional Love every day, I believe we would see a dramatic change in our nation in a short period of time.  As we sow seeds of Love, Love will be produced in others.  Our acts of Love glorify Our Heavenly Father and HE will supply us resources to perform even greater works.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 15:

1 We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples (failings) of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.

3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.”

4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,

6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The strong are to bear the weaknesses of the weak rather than pleasing themselves.  Just as Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for us, we should also sacrifice for those who are weaker than us.  The end result of bearing another’s burdens should be unity resulting in giving FATHER the glory for being able to bear each other’s burdens.  Jesus glorified FATHER by taking on the sins and sicknesses of the world by dying on the cross.  We should be willing to die to self and take on one another’s burdens.  When we do, we acknowledge the preeminence of Christ in our lives.  This results in giving FATHER the honor and glory HE deserves.

When we bear another’s burdens, we are exercising our faith in the Words of Jesus with respect to being a light.  As we exercise faith by walking in Love, we will experience joy as the recipient experiences unconditional Love.  It is a win-win for all.  Go forth today with an act of Agape Love to another person, preferably a stranger.  Ask FATHER to show you the person(s) to bless.  Pray that your act of Love is a seed planted in their heart resulting in Love rising up in them.  Let us be a light to the world.  How about making it a daily occurrence?  What an excellent way to glorify Our Heavenly Father!

Why Faith?

Friday, March 9th, 2018

Spiritual faith is believing what Our Heavenly Father says is true then acting on it.  Those who purpose to walk in unconditional Love are also urged to proceed toward walking in great faith in the same manner as our elder brother Jesus Christ.  He is our perfect example of a mature Son so why not expect to minister in like fashion.  Jesus spoke in Mark 16:

14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Jesus revealed FATHER’S Divine Intent for all disciples including you and me.  A disciple is a “follower,” someone who adheres completely to the teachings of another (Jesus Christ), making them his rule of life and conduct.  There is no room for unbelief and hardness of heart if a disciple expects to fulfill Jesus’ mandate of ministering to the world.  There will be many who will wax cold as the time approaches but there will be those of us who continue to diligently press in and are pleasing unto Our Heavenly Father.

At some point we should expect signs following, rather than following after signs.  Those who follow after signs fall into the “seeing is believing” group whereas FATHER expects us to be in the “believing is seeing” remnant.  As Paul stated by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

7  For we walk by faith, not by sight.

When we adhere to the teachings of Jesus, we express our faith in Him and are pleasing to FATHER and have begun to walk according to our purpose.  Notice how FATHER responded to Jesus when He was baptized by John:

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.

14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”

15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.

16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.

17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Jesus had been walking in faith for thirty years without any public ministry whatsoever.  He had performed no miracles of record nor had He preached the Gospel.  His baptism was the culmination of His preparation and His faith in His stated purpose was about to physically manifest.  FATHER was well pleased!

Let us not grow weary in our walk of faith but let us hold fast to our confession knowing that at some point the fullness of our purpose will manifest similar to Our Elder Brother.  Let us praise and glorify Our Heavenly Father daily knowing that HE is working in our lives according to HIS Divine Intent of Love.

We All Have Some Level Of Faith

Thursday, March 8th, 2018

We walk in some level of faith everyday.  We have faith when we use our telephones even though most of us do not understand how they can send and receive voice and data signals.  We have faith in the sun appearing in the east each morning even though we do not have a detailed understanding of how it can be so reliable.  There are many other examples of our faith and trust operating throughout each day.  In order to receive our salvation we had to once again exercise our faith in other areas:

Have faith in GOD.

Have faith in HIS Word

Have faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross

We heard FATHER’S Word in the area of salvation, we believed, and we responded in faith.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 1:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

We spend our lifetimes operating in faith at some level so when we have heard the Good News, it is not unreasonable to expect our redemption to take place.  Why do we not embrace the other redemptive promises of FATHER?  Redemption is a gift from FATHER, not something we earned.  Paul further wrote in Ephesians chapter 2:

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We have been informed that we are HIS workmanship and created for good works so we should make this our primary focus.  As we embrace the other redemptive promises of FATHER, we are better able to fulfill all the good works we were intended to perform.  Faith is a vital key to fulfilling our purpose.  It is written by THE SPIRIT in Hebrews chapter 11:

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Diligence is a key word in the above passage.  The diligence means “careful attention, unremitting application, persistent endeavor.”  Everyone wants to be rewarded in some manner.  FATHER has revealed what action we should take to be pleasing unto HIM.  Those who are not diligent will miss out on HIS rewards which are tied to HIS redemptive promises.  Being an overcomer requires personal commitment even though some think otherwise.  FATHER’S Divine Intent gives way to our individual right of choice because HE wants us to choose to serve the Kingdom rather than be a slave.

As we walk according to The Way of Jesus Christ, we will become pleasing to FATHER and in turn we enable HIM to operate in our lives by providing all our needs according to HIS riches.  Let us direct our faith toward HIM and HIS promises rather than the world and its empty or temporary promises.  When our faith is directed toward the Word of GOD, good fruit is produced in our lives.  Those who walk in agape Love desire good fruit to feed others who are in need.  Let our faith become energized because we walk in Love and desire to be blessings to others.  What a great use of our faith!

Praise And Action

Wednesday, March 7th, 2018

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 150, the final Psalm:

1 Praise the LORD!

Praise God in His sanctuary;

Praise Him in His mighty firmament!

2 Praise Him for His mighty acts;

Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!

3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;

Praise Him with the lute and harp!

4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;

Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!

5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;

Praise Him with clashing cymbals!

6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.

Praise the LORD!

When we praise The LORD, we acknowledge HIS preeminence in our lives.  This expression of gratitude also builds our faith IN HIM.  When we give FATHER praise, we are acting upon HIS Word and telling our body to line up with HIS Word in all areas.  When we pray according to The Word, we are to express praise and gratitude for the answer to our prayer.  We should also have corresponding expectations and actions according to our request.  James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 2:

17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Many believers miss this point when they pray.  First, we must know what FATHER’S redemptive promises are in the area of our need.  Second, we pray according to HIS will to answer our petition.  Third, we give HIM the praise for answering our prayer.  Fourth, we act in faith, doubting not.  The third and fourth steps is where many have difficulty.  Our ego would challenge us when we express praise for something we have yet to see.  We may be told we look stupid when we confess the result before its physical manifestation.  Who cares?  The Spiritual realm is everlasting whereas the physical realm is temporary by nature.  I would rather trust in the everlasting than rely on something that is always changing.

As I thank FATHER for the answer to my prayer, I am acknowledging HIM as being superior to my current, temporary situation.  The more I praise FATHER, the more good seed is planted in my heart.  Seed enters our hearts through our eyes and ears.  What we listen to impacts what our heart receives.  The children of Israel heard two different reports about the Promised Land in Numbers chapter 13:

30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.”

32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.

33 There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

Only two men embraced FATHER’S Word concerning the Promised Land and aligned their thoughts and words with HIM.  The rest of the people rejected HIS Word and planted seeds of unbelief in their hearts resulting in their death before they could enter the land.  We must feed our hearts with FATHER’S Word and our expressed acknowledgment and praise.  Our ears hear the confirming praise from our lips and reinforce the growth of the good seed.  When our eyes see our actions which line up with HIS Word, further reinforcement occurs.  Our faith grows stronger as we give praise and act according to HIS Word.  The manifested answer to our petition will come forth as we doubt not but remain steadfast in faith.  Once manifestation occurs, we have a fresh testimony to share with others.

Mysteries Given To Us

Tuesday, March 6th, 2018

Carefully read the following.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 13:

10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:

‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive;

15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing,

And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,

Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’

We have been given the ability to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven and those mysteries are not hidden from us, but are in plain sight for all to grasp if they are only willing to believe.  Jesus further stated that we will have abundance in an unrestricted fashion for this is the nature of Our Heavenly Father.  It is not HIS Intent to restrict us from sufficiency in any area of our lives if we ask according to HIS will.  After all, HE is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.

Those who do not have the revelation of the seven redemptive promises of FATHER will live in scarcity and ultimately lose what little they have.  Their hearts have grown dull which indicates that at one time they could have heard and responded to the Gospel.  Without seeing and hearing, they are unable to understand the mysteries which are before their very eyes.  How do you grow dull of seeing and hearing?  By allowing the noise of the world to overpower your spiritual eyes and ears.  You pay close attention to what the world is promoting at the expense of the spiritual.

It is up to each of us to protect our hearts so that we can receive the fullness of the seven redemptive promises of FATHER.  We must intently focus on FATHER’S Word and turn away from the ways of the world.  We are to repent of our past worldly desires and plant only good seed into our hearts.  We must let patience have its perfect work and know what has been authorized and imparted in the spiritual realm is being manifested on our behalf in the physical realm.  Faith requires steadfastness while manifestation is occurring.

We are to know the mysteries because we trust FATHER more than we trust the temporary state which is in the world.  Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 11:

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them”.

FATHER has the power and resources to remove any obstacle set before us but HE requires us to have faith in HIM.  In order to obtain results from prayer, we must believe the result when we pray, not when it later manifests.  The chronology is pray, believe, then manifestation, not pray, manifestation, then believe.  Our trust in FATHER must be greater than our trust in the five physical senses.  This is just one of the mysteries Jesus revealed to those who have ears to hear.

Jesus revealed FATHER’S seven characteristics which reflect HIS seven promises.  Those with spiritual eyes and ears are given the ability to embrace all seven if they will only believe.  The seven promises appear to be mysteries out of reach to those who have grown dull of seeing and hearing.  Let us seize the opportunity set before us this day to embrace these mysteries.
