Thoroughly Equipped

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Timothy chapter 3:

1  But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear].

2  For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane,

3  [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good,

4  traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God.   AMPL

Doesn’t the above describe precisely what is occurring today?  In the months ahead, I expect the Truth to expose many notable men and women of their hidden agendas which will greatly impact the masses who have blindly followed their leadership.  The Word has warned us of the perversities to be revealed in the “last days”.

But Paul wrote to us, the true believers in Jesus Christ:

10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance,

11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.

The writings we present are intended to mature the Sons and Daughters of Our Heavenly Father who have carefully followed the teachings of Jesus and have not become lukewarm but continue to persevere and remained patient, walking in Agape Love.  Yes, we have suffered persecutions by those whose intent has been to spread their agendas described in verses 1 to 4 because they wanted to remove any opposition who represent the standard of Truth so they would have no restraint from fulfilling their hidden motives.

12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Even though evil has been spreading, FATHER’S Sons and Daughters are being prepared to overcome all the works of the evil one.  We must not allow the current conditions to dishearten us in any manner for Our Heavenly Father will use us to bring forth HIS Kingdom in due season.  Let us be encouraged each day as we continue our preparation to be thoroughly equipped:

14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Jesus was thoroughly equipped for every good work and His success is well documented in the Gospels.  The Disciples became thoroughly equipped and their successes are well documented in the Book of Acts as well as the Epistles.  We should expect nothing less as we come into the full maturity and are equipped for every good work in the perilous times ahead.

Preparing For Warfare

Thursday, December 6th, 2018

As we spiritually mature, we will confront opposition to our walk.  This is why it is important to become vigilant in our daily lives and continue to prepare for this eventuality.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 6:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Paul provides us with the most important aspect of overcoming the wicked one: the shield of faith which is strengthened by the indwelling Word of GOD in us.  Don’t think you can be slack for days, weeks, months, and years then expect to overcome all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  This is one of the many reasons FATHER has me write to you daily.

There are signs of upheaval ahead and we should be prepared as lights unto a world whose past perceptions and assumptions will be shaken.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Jesus provides us a stark contrast of doing versus not doing His Word.  Who else would we trust to take us through chaos and collapse of Mystery Babylon’s fall?  Let us not become collateral damage when the systems no longer work because the perceptions based on smoke and mirrors are finally exposed.  It is only a matter of time when Truth will expose the lies and deceptions of carnal man.

28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

We have been warned.  Don’t be one the the “astonished”!

On Record

Tuesday, December 4th, 2018

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in John chapter 20:

30 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book;

31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

We have been given eyewitness accounts of the Words, works, and miracles of Jesus Christ that we would believe and have life in His Name.  These eyewitness accounts have stood the test of time like no other throughout history for they contain life and promote life among those who believe.

When you have been subject to the miraculous, it changes you and you never forget it.  Yes, you may go astray for a time but you will return when you come back to the realization of the importance of the life-giving Way of Jesus Christ.  Once you have been miraculously healed by FATHER, no one can convince that HIS willingness to heal us is not for today.  Once HE speaks to you personally, no one can convince you that HE does not speak to HIS children in a personal manner.

Matthew wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 16:

1 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.

2 He (Jesus) answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’;

3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites!  You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.

4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed.

There are ministries who would lead us to focus on signs attributed to FATHER rather than the Sign Giver.  There is nothing wrong with acknowledging a sign but our focus should not be drawn away from the ministry of Our Lord Jesus Christ and our part in becoming a mature Son or Daughter.  It is easy to be drawn away from the multitude of signs all around us for they can be found everywhere, especially with the advent of the Internet.  I went through a time where I was drawn into the focus of signs and then FATHER warned me and said, “Son, all signs are of ME but not all signs are applicable to you, and I will tell you which signs are applicable to you.”  I repented.

Notice that Jesus told the Pharisees and Sadducees that they were effectively wicked and adulterous for seeking after signs.  This warning provided us with the result of being drawn away by an excessiveness of being focused on signs.  “An evil and morally unfaithful generation craves a miraculous sign thus those who should have known better were leading the sheep astray with their impure teachings.  We must take every Word spoken by Jesus Who went on record to reveal FATHER’S Divine Intent as the exact Truth and not allow ourselves to be drawn away from an evil and adulterous path.

Those who are familiar with running marathons (26.2 miles) and half marathons (13.1 miles) are familiar with the car oval stickers which simply state 26.2 or 13.1 inside the oval.  It represents their achievement of a past event.  I recently saw an amusing sticker that had 28.4 on it and in small letters it said “I got lost”.  The good news is that even if the runner gets lost, he or she still knows that there will be a finish line to cross… eventually.

FATHER’S great grace and mercy will steer us back to the course as we return to the all important record known as the New Testament and follow Its instructions.  Just as the prodigal son came to his senses (Luke 15:17) as he was eating pig food, we too will come to our senses when we find ourselves on a totally unfruitful path and realize our mistake.  Let us return to The Word and allow it to be preeminent in all we think, say, and do.

Every Good Work

Monday, December 3rd, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 9:

. 8 And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.  AMPL

And he further wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Timothy chapter 2:

20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.

21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

Love and faith acts on The Word and we are to be known by our acts which are good fruit.  If you do nothing, you have no fruit.  Faith acts, Love acts, therefore vessels of honor have corresponding actions known as good works.  We are called to good works and it comes in many forms.  Actions may by physical in nature as well as financial in nature.  When I give money to another in need, it represents the fruit of my past, honorable labor and is deemed to be good fruit when given to someone else out of Agape Love.

As we increase in the knowledge of Our Heavenly Father and have a greater understanding of HIS Divine Intent, we become sanctified and useful to HIM for good works which HE expects of us.  James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 2 concerning the need to have corresponding works:

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?

15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,

16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

Giving of ourselves by helping others or, giving of our finances to bless others who are in need, are both indications of good works of faith.  There are many who study the Bible and have no corresponding actions thus they only have self interest at the core of their intent.  Corresponding actions to FATHER’S Word separates vessels of honor from vessels of dishonor.  If is up to each of us to determine what path we are willing to take.  Corresponding actions will often seem inconvenient at the time but the fruit of such actions will be quite rewarding because FATHER sees our willingness to sacrifice self-interest on HIS behalf.  We are urged by James to not be foolish in this area.

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?

22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?

Let us become perfected by our actions of faith which will be known to all as good works, motivated by Love!

An Excellent Daily Confession

Sunday, December 2nd, 2018

The following is an excellent confession to start each day with:

“I walk worthy of my FATHER, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of HIM; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to FATHER who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light for HE has delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed unto me into the kingdom of the Son of HIS Love”

We have the right and authority to speak forth this confession give to us through Paul by THE SPIRIT in Colossians 1:10-13.  As we hear ourselves speak these words, they will become fully planted and begin producing the fruit of FATHER’S Divine Intent for HE is faithful to watch over HIS Word to perform it.

Mystery Revealed

Saturday, December 1st, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Colossians chapter 1:

26  that is, the mystery which was hidden [from angels and mankind] for ages and generations, but has now been revealed to His saints (God’s people).

27  God [in His eternal plan] chose to make known to them how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in and among you, the hope and guarantee of [realizing the] glory.

28  We proclaim Him, warning and instructing everyone in all wisdom [that is, with comprehensive insight into the word and purposes of God], so that we may present every person complete in Christ [mature, fully trained, and perfect in Him—the Anointed].  AMPL

Consider the brevity of the above passage which we often take for granted.  You and I have received the revelation from THE CREATOR of Heaven and earth which was hid for ages and generations but now has been revealed to those with eyes to see and ears to hear.  What an honor to be counted among those who were selected by FATHER for this hour!  That reality should evoke praise and worship toward FATHER within itself without any further Word or action by FATHER.

The fact that we were selected for such a time as this should encourage us to pursue the perfection, becoming fully mature and fully trained, and perfect in Him—the Anointed, without anyone prodding us to go on and never give up in pursuit of the completed state we are ordained to walk.  We have been selected to represent FATHER and be a light to this world today, not at some distant time which never seems to arrive.  Let us no longer restrict ourselves from being used by FATHER because we deem ourselves unworthy.  Jesus made us worthy for such a mission.

We are called to proclaim Christ just as Paul did when he wrote under the anointing of The Holy Spirit.  Paul also wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 3:

16  Do you not know and understand that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells [permanently] in you [collectively and individually]?

17  If anyone destroys the temple of God [corrupting it with false doctrine], God will destroy the destroyer; for the temple of God is holy (sacred), and that is what you are.  AMPL

Let us not defile our temple by word and/or acts which are not motivated by Love.  Let us not be a part of any false doctrine which we are made aware of as we pursue the Truth and have it revealed to us by The Holy Spirit.  When we hear some prophecy or proclaimed truth, let us seek FATHER to see if it is from HIM or from man’s own logic and reasoning applied to some aspect of the Truth.  A half truth is not the exact Truth which we live by.  When we get a check in our spirit given to us by The Holy Spirit, let us wait on FATHER to reveal the issue which caused that “check”.  Oh how I look back and see the mistakes I made when I received the “check” without heeding its warning.  Thankfully FATHER’s great grace and mercy prevailed and corrected me by HIS Love.

Earlier, in chapter 3 Paul had written:

5   Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?

6   I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

7   So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

8   Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

Know that as we spread the mystery of the Gospel to all those who have ears to hear, FATHER will reward us for our labor.  That reward comes in various forms depending on our individuals needs and desires.  As we are increasingly led by THE SPIRIT, we will more easily recognize HIS rewards coming our way.  As we recognize our rewards, we can’t help but speak forth HIS praises which adds to the realization of the great mystery being revealed to us, both individually and collectively.  Praise be to Our Heavenly Father!

The Covenant of Breath

Friday, November 30th, 2018

The following excerpts are from a writing by our friend Alan:

NKJ John 4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

NKJ John 20:22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit”.

I was taught early in my spiritual journey that God ‘cut covenants’ with certain individuals, and that was the basis for much of the Bible; God ‘cut’ different covenants with certain men to achieve God’s goals. That description never tasted very good to me, though I wasn’t able to say why I could not comfortably embrace that idea. As I began to study the verses in the O.T. which address the idea of ‘covenant’, I discovered the real error in the line of thinking, at least for my ‘theology’, which describes God as ‘cutting covenant’ with specific individuals.

KJV Genesis 6:18 “But with thee will I establish (Strong’s # H6965 is the root verb used here) my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark; thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.” At this juncture can you imagine that the phrase “…come into the ark”, rather than describing physically entering into a large wooden box that can float above the death of destructive waters, can instead be referring to entering into a new level of thought and understanding, also referred to as a ‘covenant’? Can you consider that the ‘flood’ was actually a flood of words that would be used to kill and destroy and wash away an old and disorderly way of thinking, so that a new level of thinking (covenant) would be available?

NKJ Hebrews 9:8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was yet standing:

The Hebrew verb ‘qum’, pronounced in English as ‘Qoom’, iis Strong’s #6965, and is used many times in the Old Testament scriptures. The first place I can find the word appearing is in Gen. 4:8: “…Cain rose up (Strong’s #6965) against Abel his brother…”

The impact of the verb ‘’qoom’ is the idea of embracing the thought, or instructions, of ascending to a higher position of authority, and/or of obedient action. The word is generally used to communicate the activity of one who takes instructions from another to do something they weren’t previously doing. Most often it represents when a superior motivates a subordinate to do something: i.e., ‘Arise’; ‘stand up’; ‘rise up’; ‘go forth’; etc. In that context, then, let us consider this. “But with you I will establish (#6965) my covenant…” [Gen. 6:18]

This verse is also the first place in the scriptures that the word ‘covenant’ is used; in Hebrew and in English. The literal translation of these Hebrew words into English is as this: “I will cause to stand up (Strong’s #6965), in you and with you, my covenant”. The ‘covenant of God’ is the presence of God. And God is Spirit, on the authority of Yashua. That covenant declaration was not a promise to just Noah, and whatever ‘noah’ represents. This declaration was for all of mankind; all of humanity; ‘adam’, in all of ‘adam’s’ varied manifestations. For God is no respecter of persons. [Rom. 2:11, James 2:9, Acts 10:34] The idea being introduced here is that when man is obedient to the Spirit of God, the covenant of God ‘stands up’ in man. And the covenant of God is the Spirit Presence of God.

Many times throughout the O.T. we find this language being used to say that if a certain individual is obedient to the Spiritual instructions he/she is receiving from God, that God will cause to ‘stand up’ in them his presence; His covenant in them. God doesn’t make external covenant conditions with man. When man is obedient to the Spirit of God, the Spirit of God ‘stands up’ in man. And all who embrace the instructions and corrections from the Spirit partake of the benefit of having the Spirit of God ‘stand up’ in them; in their experience and in their actions and in their lives. When one hears something from the Spirit of God that causes them to embrace what they heard, the Spirit of God is being elevated in that individual. And all who embrace and accept, for themselves, that same idea of what was ‘heard’, also accept and endorse the benefit that goes with that level of Spirit obedience. For God is no respecter of persons. This Spiritual principle works whether or not one understands it.

As the blood of Yashua was flowing forth from the wound in his side, water also flowed forth. What does water represent? The Word of God is often represented as water. “Out of your belly shall flow rivers of Living Water” rather than the ‘death’ waters of a destructive flood. The water and the Spirit and the Word are all used synonymously as representing the coming forth of the Spirit of God from within. As believers, we are encouraged to embrace baptism in water, and baptism in the Spirit. Yashua breathed upon them and said, “Receive you the Holy Spirit”. [John 20:22] The word ‘breath’ is most often associated with Spirit. The very breath that sustains us, in this physical dimension, is the gift of God.

The Breath of God and the Spirit of God are one and the same. For God is Spirit, and does not need to breathe as man needs to breathe. And if you can breathe, you are a candidate for manifestation of Covenant Life with Father. God has elevated His Covenant in ‘adam’ to another level. And in this Third Day experience, the Aquarius sign (which astronomically we have entered into) of the man with the pitcher of water being poured out has taken on a new and higher spiritual importance. The Spirit Words of God flowing forth from us believers is synonymous with the water being poured out by the man with the pitcher of water. And we must expend breath to speak the Word. Yashua breathed upon them and said these Words: “Receive the Holy Spirit”. [John: 20:22] ‘Tis by the breath of God that we speak the Words of God.

What Love Does

Thursday, November 29th, 2018

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 3:

1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

How is FATHER to be revealed to the world?  Through us!  Jesus said Himself (in John chapter 14:7)  “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”  Our purpose is to reveal FATHER to the world which in turn will destroy the works of the devil:

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Many believers are up in arms about the political situations around the world yet our focus should be to reveal FATHER to mankind.  That is the purpose of Sons and Daughters of Our Heavenly Father.  As we fully mature, we shall be like HIM for we shall see HIM as HE is.  How do we mature?  By purifying ourselves with HIS Word, both by HIS written Word and HIS Word spoken to us by HIS Most Holy Spirit.  What is the key aspect of FATHER being revealed in us?  By Agape Love, for by Love FATHER is revealed to mankind as the Beloved Disciple wrote In chapter 4:

7  Beloved, let us [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God [through personal experience].

The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for GOD is Love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.]

9  By this the love of God was displayed in us, in that God has sent His [One and] only begotten Son [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind] into the world so that we might live through Him.

10  In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation [that is, the atoning sacrifice, and the satisfying offering] for our sins [fulfilling God’s requirement for justice against sin and placating His wrath].

11  Beloved, if God so loved us [in this incredible way], we also ought to love one another.

12  No one has seen God at any time. But if we love one another [with unselfish concern], God abides in us, and His love [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is completed and perfected in us.

13  By this we know [with confident assurance] that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given to us His [Holy] Spirit.  AMPL

If Love does not abide in us and through us, then we do not know FATHER nor have we ever known HIM (verse 8).  This is quite an indictment against many who profess to be Christians.  How can we destroy the works of the devil if we are not motivated by the pure Agape Love given to us by FATHER?  Let each of us repent of any past works that did not reflect FATHER’S unconditional Love for mankind.  Many focus on being strong in faith or focus on the prophetic yet if they do not walk in Agape Love, their faith and works are motivated by self interest and will not last.

The works of the devil have reached a crescendo in this world but there is a remnant who has grasped the Truth found in the above passages and are growing stronger each day in Agape Love.  Let us build our foundation on Agape Love as we purify ourselves in The  Word and we will reveal FATHER to the world by both Word and deed.  This is what will destroy the works of the devil.

Avoid Dissension

Wednesday, November 28th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Titus chapter 3:

8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.

10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,

11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

Dissension is a state or condition marked by a lack of agreement or harmony; discord implying an intrinsic or essential lack of harmony producing quarreling, factiousness, or antagonism.  When people are not walking in Agape Love, they will allow their carnal man to argue and dispute others’ beliefs in a certain area of focus.  Politics is one such area and religion is another.  It is pointless, unprofitable, and useless to argue with people about such topics for without the exact Truth, nobody will be enlightened.

When a person resists the Truth, we should avoid entering into any topic which will generate strife and contention for that person’s understanding is either non-existent or warped, thus the person is blinded to the Truth.  He or she is condemned to failure in the area of blindness and will produce no good fruit.  They will pursue a course of action and fail, then try again without changing thus producing the same outcome.

As we continue to mature in being led by THE SPIRIT, we will avoid such foolish disputes and contentions for we will see how unprofitable and useless they are.  An excellent example is the young person recently graduated from school thinks they know “everything about everything” yet they have not figured out yet that seeking and heeding wise counsel will benefit their life more than a harsh experience revealing the reality they previously rejected.

We are urged with the faithful saying and constant affirmation to be careful to maintain good works for these works are good and profitable to men and women.  Let us find out what we can agree on with those who tend to argue with us and stay clear of topics which generate disputes and discord.  Let us not take up time and focus on unprofitable and useless discussions whish serves no one.

Allow The Holy Spirit to minister to those who are self-condemned, warped, and in sin to see the light.  Until then, they will only burn up time and resources going down the path which leads to nowhere.  They may be successful in one area of life but that does not mean it transfers to another area where they have no knowledge, skill, understanding, or Wisdom.  This is precisely why we should endeavor to walk and be fully led by The Holy Spirit for FATHER is not lacking in any area.  HIS Divine Intent will direct us in an area we know little about to seek out HIS vessel who is called to be an expert in the area of our need or where we lack skill, knowledge, or understanding.

The Exact Truth

Tuesday, November 27th, 2018

Luke wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 1:

1 Inasmuch as many have taken in hand to set in order a narrative of those things which have been fulfilled among us,

2 just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word delivered them to us,

3 it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus,

4 that you may know the certainty of those things (the exact Truth) in which you were instructed.

The Holy Spirit empowered the disciples to convey the exact Truth with perfect understanding so we could be thoroughly instructed in The Way of Jesus Christ.  Luke further wrote by THE SPIRIT in the book of Acts:

1  The first account I made, Theophilus, was [a continuous report] about all the things that Jesus began to do and to teach

2  until the day when He ascended to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given instruction to the apostles (special messengers) whom He had chosen.

3  To these [men] He also showed Himself alive after His suffering [in Gethsemane and on the cross], by [a series of] many infallible proofs and unquestionable demonstrations, appearing to them over a period of forty days and talking to them about the things concerning the kingdom of God.

When we read the New Testament, we need to keep in mind the preciseness of this exact Truth given to us by FATHER through HIS Holy Spirit for our behalf.  Men try to provide their own interpretation when they have not experienced the literal Truth themselves, justifying and rationalizing why some portions should be looked at as only metaphors.  A metaphor is a figure of speech that describes an object or action in a way that isn’t literally true, but helps explain an idea or make a comparison.  I believe FATHER uses both the literal and exact Truth as well as related metaphors surrounding the exact Truth to instruct us of HIS Divine Intent.

If you try to assign each event only as a metaphor, then you miss a blessing.  When Jesus raised the dead, He literally performed a miracle which confirmed His power and authority to the people.  When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, the angel literally manifested in the physical and spoke FATHER’S Divine Intent to her.

We have an angel show up from time to time at our house.  We had not mentioned this angel’s presence to anyone until our five year-old grandson who spent the night, woke up and spoke to the angel who appeared to him early the next morning.  At breakfast, our grandson told my wife of his encounter.  He describe the angel precisely like my wife had seen herself.  The angel’s lips did not move but still spoke to our grandson.  At first, our grandson pulled the covers over his head but was told to not be afraid.  He asked the angel why he was there and the angel replied “I like to come and spend time here.”  He then departed.  Angels are not metaphors, they are real.  We were given an independent confirmation by an innocent child who had no idea of our previous encounters.

We are grateful for the exact Truth ministering life to us by FATHER.  HIS great grace and mercy has sustained us as we continue to mature IN HIM and become physical expressions of HIS Love toward mankind.  I know for a certainty that HE says what HE means and HE means what HE says.  HE desires to give us the perfect understanding of HIS Divine Intent so let us embrace every Word spoken by HIS firstborn Son so that we make walk as vessels of honor.
