The Upward Spiral

Friday, June 13th, 2025

Human logic does not understand the miraculous!

We don’t understand how FATHER performs miracles.  Men have tried to figure out how HE parted the Red Sea by natural means.  Who cares?  Does it really matter?

There is something about a testimony that conditions or positions us to receive for it provides hope from Above when a trial comes.  I am going to trust GOD, HE’S the One Who works wonders.  I don’t understand what HE’S going to do, I don’t understand how HE’S going to do it, but I am going to trust HIM.

We are instructed to set our hope in God, forget not the works of God, and keep His commandments. (Psalm 78:7)  Those are simple commands, but many have strayed away.  The testimony and the courage to obey are connected.  Are you courageous enough to stand on The Word whether spoken or written?

It takes courage to obey GOD!

Courage is defined as a willingness to act despite fear, motivated by a faith in God’s power and guidance. It’s not the absence of fear, but rather the ability to face challenges and adversity with steadfastness and trust in God’s promises.  We are to walk in courageous, radical obedience!

The Psalmist provided us with an example of this Truth as he recorded in Psalm chapter 78:

9 Take, for example, the sons of Ephraim. Though they were all equipped warriors, each with weapons, when the battle began they retreated and ran away in fear.

10 They didn’t really believe the promises of God; they refused to trust Him and move forward in faith.

11 They forgot His wonderful works and the miracles of the past.

They forgot past testimonies of GOD’s faithfulness toward Israel, and it cost them.  Remembering past testimonies helps us keep strong in our confidence and faith in GOD.

What happens to the testimonies of The Lord if we decline in sharing testimonies?  Then, we see miracles less.  If we see miracles less, we expect them less.  If we expect them less, we talk about them less to the point where we no longer expect miracles to happen.  It’s a downward spiral and miracles become a mere part of our history some time ago that GOD used to do such and such, where so much of the church is right now.

We are commanded not to let that downward spiral happen!  You and I are called to change that.  We are to be a part of FATHER’S Divine Intent for miracles to occur in our lives and in those to whom we minister as Jesus commanded.

Jesus commanded in Mark chapter 16:

15 And Jesus said to them (as un), “As you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the Gospel to the entire human race!

16 Whoever believes the good news and is baptized will be saved, and whoever does not believe the good news will be condemned.

17 And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues.

18 They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.”

Jesus expects miracles to follow us.  When those miracles happen, new testimonies are created to be shared and provide hope to all those in need.  Instead of a downward spiral, we are to initiate an upward spiral which will reach to Heaven!

From Impossible To Possible

Thursday, June 12th, 2025

Moving from impossible to possible is based on where you are viewing the situation!

Most churches do not expect miracles to take place, so their message has become ineffective to a certain degree.  The primary difference between true Christianity and the other religions is confirming signs and wonders, i.e., miracles.

Many pastors play it safe by not expecting the miraculous to confirm their messages.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 13:

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 19:

26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

And He spoke in Mark chapter 9:

23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

And in Mark chapter 10:

27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

It is vital for you and me to embrace these Truths!  Was Jesus triumphant in all situations He encountered?  Totally!  As we focus time and attention on GOD’S supernatural interventions, they become how we see, how we act, and how we pray.

Testimonies prophesy and reveal the Heart of GOD, His Nature, and His covenant given to us to operate from.  It is vital that we do not forget the testimonies of GOD!

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 78:

1 Beloved ones, listen to this instruction. Open your heart to the revelation of this mystery that I share with you.

2 A parable and a proverb are hidden in what I say—an intriguing riddle from the past.

3-4 We’ve heard true stories from our fathers about our rich heritage. We will continue to tell our children and not hide from the rising generation the great marvels of our God—his miracles and power that have brought us all this far.

5 The story of Israel is a lesson in God’s ways. He established decrees for Jacob and established the law in Israel, and he commanded our forefathers to teach them to their children.

FATHER explicitly tells us to pass down testimonies of HIS power to each generation so they will not be forgotten.  Otherwise, they will rely on the world for their solutions.

6 For perpetuity God’s ways will be passed down from one generation to the next, even to those not yet born.

7 In this way, every generation will set its hope in God and not forget His wonderful works but keep His commandments.

8 By following His ways they will break the past bondage of their fickle fathers, who were a stubborn, rebellious generation and whose spirits strayed from the Eternal God. They refused to Love Him with all their hearts.

We must remember, if GOD performs a miracle in the past for others, HE will do it for me!

9 Take, for example, the sons of Ephraim. Though they were all equipped warriors, each with weapons, when the battle began they retreated and ran away in fear.

10 They didn’t really believe the promises of God; they refused to trust Him and move forward in faith.

11 They forgot His wonderful works and the miracles of the past,

12 even their exodus from Egypt, the epic miracle of His might. They forgot the glories of His power at the place of passing over.

13 God split the sea wide open, and the waters stood at attention on either side as the people passed on through!

14 By day the moving glory-cloud led them forward. And all through the night the fire-cloud stood as a sentry of light.

The renewing of our mind necessitates the remembrance of past miracles; else we cannot truly walk in The Way.

Keep All Testimonies Before You

Wednesday, June 11th, 2025

Testimonies are the same yesterday, today, and forever!

As I wrote yesterday:

The Hebrew word for “testimony,” often translated as “Aydooth” or “Edut,” is derived from a root word that means “do it again,” “repeat,” or “return”. Sharing a testimony in this context is not just a retelling of events, but a declaration that God’s power and authority can be repeated in the lives of others. It’s an affirmation that God’s actions in the past can be experienced again

It is vital for you and me to embrace this Truth!

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Deuteronomy chapter 6:

1 “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the LORD Your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess,

2 that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.

3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you-‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’

4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD Our God, the LORD is One!

5 You shall Love The LORD Your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

6]”And these Words which I command you today shall be in your heart.

7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

17 You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.

And:

20 “When your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is the meaning of the testimonies, the statutes, and the judgments which the LORD our God has commanded you?’

24 And the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.

25 Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the LORD our God, as He has commanded us.’

Why are we to remember what FATHER has spoken in the past?  HIS Word is continuously applicable to the situations we each encounter.  The miracles that occurred on behalf of the children of Israel, are to show us that all things are possible for those who are His Children.  The “supernatural’ is “natural” with Our Heavenly Father.

Keeping a commandment is to obey GOD.  Keeping the statutes of GOD is where HE is teaching His value system.  In a commandment, HE is telling us what to think whereas in a statute, HE is telling us how to think, HIS perception of reality and how HE wants us to navigate life.

Keeping a testimony means that I hold the record of GOD’S interventions among people so close to me, that they become the “lenses” through which I see present problems or challenges.  I interpret them through a history with GOD.

If HE has miraculously healed me in the past, I know HE will do it again.  If HE gave me favor among men in the past, HE will do it again.  If HE came to my financial rescue in the past, clearly, HE will do it again.  I can attest to miracles in all three areas.

Let each of us walk in new testimonies that will encourage others around us.  This will give them hope for their situation!

Testimonies Are Repeatable

Tuesday, June 10th, 2025

Testimonies are meant to be repeated!

It’s an affirmation that God’s actions in the past can be experienced again.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 7:

22 Only then did Jesus answer the question posed by John’s disciples. “Now go back and tell John what you have just seen and heard here today. The blind are now seeing. The crippled are now walking. Those who were lepers are now cured. Those who were deaf are now hearing. Those who were dead are now brought back to life. The poor and broken are given the hope of salvation.

The miracles that Jesus performed are in the “plural” and not selective in nature.  Jesus healed “all”, not just some who were in a special category.  FATHER wants us to duplicate past testimonies as we minister to others, without exception.

A testimony was never meant to be a historical factor that pointed to an old event.  It was supposed to be a present tense reality that releases the activity of GOD into present situations.

Every testimony reveals the nature of GOD and reveals HIS covenant with us.

Charles Spurgeon wrote on July 17th, 1859:

When people hear about what God used to do, one of the things they say is: “Oh, that was a very long while ago.” They imagine that times have altered since then. Says one: “I can believe anything about the Reformation—the largest accounts that can possibly be given, I can take in.” “And so could I concerning Whitefield and Wesley,” says another, “all that is quite true, they did labour vigorously and successfully, but that was many years ago. Things were in a different state then from what they are now.”

Granted; but I want to know what the things have to do with it. I thought it was God that did it. Has God changed? Is he not an immutable God, the same yesterday, to-day and for ever? Does not that furnish an argument to prove that what God has done at one time He can do at another? Nay, I think I may push it a little further, and say what He has done once, is a prophecy of what He intends to do again—that the mighty works which have been accomplished in the olden time shall all be repeated, and the Lord’s song shall be sung again in Zion, and He shall again be greatly glorified.

Others among you say, “Oh, well I look upon these things as great prodigies—miracles. We are not to expect them every day.” That is the very reason why we do not get them. If we had learnt to expect them, we should no doubt obtain them, but we put them up on the shelf, as being out of the common order of our moderate religion, as being mere curiosities of Scripture history. We imagine such things, however true, to be prodigies of providence; we cannot imagine them to be according to the ordinary working of His mighty power. I beseech you, my friends, abjure that idea, put it out of your mind. Whatever God has done in the way of converting sinners is to be looked upon as a precedent, for “His arm is not shortened that He cannot save, not is His ear heavy that He cannot hear.”

If we are straitened at all, we are not straitened in ourselves, and with earnestness seek that God would restore to us the faith of the men of old, that we may richly enjoy His grace as in the days of old. Yet there is yet another disadvantage under which these old stories labour. The fact is, we have not seen them. Why, I may talk to you ever so long about revivals, but you won’t believe them half so much, nor half so truly, as if one were to occur in your very midst. If you saw it with your own eyes, then you would see the power of it.

If you had lived in Whitefield’s day, or had heard Grimshaw preach, you would believe anything. Grimshaw would preach twenty-four times a week: he would preach many times in the course of a sultry day, going from place on horseback. That man did preach. It seemed as if Heaven would come down to earth to listen to him. He spoke with a real earnestness, with all the fire of zeal that ever burned in mortal breast, and the people trembled while they listened to him, and said, “Certainly this is the Voice of God.”

It was the same with Whitefield. The people would seem to move to and fro while he spoke, even as the harvest field is moved with the wind. So mighty was the energy of God that after hearing such a sermon the hardest-hearted men would go away and say: “There must be something in it, I never heard the like.” Can you not realize these as literal facts? Do they stand up in all their brightness before your eyes? Then I think the stories you have heard with your ears should have a true and proper effect upon your lives.

-End of Quote-

We must pursue the Heart of GOD with all diligence and expect new testimonies of miracles to be wrought by our own personal ministry to others.  Let us no longer sit on the sidelines and only reflect on the past!

Nothing Is Impossible!

We should understand the prophetic nature of testimony!

Testimonies point to the continuous power and authority of The Lord God Almighty.

The Beloved Disciple recorded by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 19:

9 Then the angel said to me, “Write these Words: Wonderfully blessed are those who are invited to feast at the wedding celebration of the Lamb!” And then he said to me, “These are the True Words of God.”

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.”

The testimony of Jesus is a spoken or written record of anything that He has done.  Prophecy is to foretell the future and to change present situations.  Prophecy produces hope and expectation that was otherwise nonexistent.  A prophecy will be used to make a decree that actually changes the reality of an individual, a family, a church, a city, a nation is facing.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Genesis chapter 1:

1 When God created the heavens and the earth,

2 the earth was completely formless and empty, with nothing but darkness draped over the deep. God’s Spirit hovered over the face of the waters.

3 And then God announced, “Let there be light,” and light burst forth!

When HE declared “Let there by light”, it was prophetic, and the response immediately came forth.  HE changed one reality to a new reality.  The sun testifies of FATHER’S prophecy every day.  It wasn’t a one-time event to recall.

The testimony of Jesus carries with it the weight of Heaven to alter the reality of a problem or situation that we are facing.  Testimony has the ability within it to actually change reality.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 10:

34 Peter said, “Now I know for certain that God doesn’t show favoritism with people but treats everyone on the same basis.

35 It makes no difference what race of people one belongs to. If they show deep reverence for God, and are committed to doing what’s right, they are acceptable before Him.

Testimonies are not restricted to certain individuals because of something unique to them.  GOD will heal you just as HE has healed others who have testified of their healings.  It is not a “one and done” situation.  Jesus did not withhold healing from anyone.  Peter finally got the message that the Gentiles could receive all the benefits as well as the Jews, for a certainty!

Testimonies encourage me that if FATHER will heal that person, HE will heal me too.  It gives me hope to pursue and expect the same manifestation.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 13:

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

His healing ministry while He walked the earth was prophetic in that He still heals today.  His Divine Intent has not changed.  Peter understood that Truth in Acts chapter 3:

2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.

4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”

5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: By the power of the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them-walking, leaping, and praising God.

Suddenly, the lame man now had a testimony that spread throughout Jerusalem and the reality of all those who heard his testimony changed.  Others expected to be healed by the same power and authority of Jesus Christ.

When you hear a testimony that applies to your situation, fully embrace it and your reality will change too.

Intimate Friends

Sunday, June 8th, 2025

Do you want Jesus to call and know you as His Friend?

Immature believers simply want to make it to Heaven and be received by Jesus Who will say “thou good and faithful servant, enter into My rest.”  Do you want to have a greater and more intimate relationship with Him?

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

9 “I Love each of you with the same Love that the Father Loves me. You must continually let My Love nourish your hearts.

10 If you keep My commands, you will live in My Love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by HIS Love.

Do you want to live in the same fulfillment as Jesus?

11 My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness!

Do you want that same joy?

12 “So this is My command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have Loved you.

13 For the greatest Love of all is a Love that sacrifices all. And this great Love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.

14 “You show that you are my intimate friends when you obey all that I command you.

Intimate friends don’t selectively choose which commandments they are willing to obey.  They obey ALL of His commandments and seek to be effective for The Kingdom as they continue toward full maturity.

15 I have never called you ‘servants,’ because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you My most intimate and cherished friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from My Father.

Jesus wasn’t reluctant to share FATHER’S Heart with them or us.  They recorded all that The Holy Spirit had instructed so that there would be a record of Truth for us to benefit from as we move toward mature and intimate friendship with Our Lord Jesus Christ.

16 You didn’t choose Me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of My Father, for my sake, He will give it to you!

Do you want to bear lasting fruit?  I do!

17 So this is My parting command: Love one another deeply!”

Our motivation should originate with Our Love for Jesus and those with whom we come in contact.  Where is my mission field?  It is wherever I am at.  We should be looking for opportunities to witness and minister to the needs of others.

When you are His intimate friend, it doesn’t mean that you no longer serve mankind.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Galatians chapter 4:

1 Let me illustrate: As long as an heir is a minor, he’s not really much different than a servant, although he’s the master over all of them.

2 For until the time appointed by The Father, the child is under the domestic supervision of the guardians of the estate.

3 So it is with us. When we were juveniles we were enslaved under the hostile spirits of the world.

4 But when the time of fulfillment had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law.

5 Yet all of this was so that he would redeem and set free those held hostage to the law so that we would receive our freedom and a full legal adoption as His children. 6 And so that we would know that we are His True children, God released the Spirit of Sonship into our hearts—moving us to cry out intimately, “My Father! My true Father!”

7 Now we’re no longer living like slaves under the law, but we enjoy being God’s very own Sons and Daughters! And because we’re His, we can access everything Our Father has—for we are heirs because of what God has done!

GOD is Our Father, Jesus is our Elder Brother and friend.  Our intimacy with both is determined by our willingness to Love and embrace the commands He gave us to carry out.

The Earth Will Respond

Saturday, June 7th, 2025

The earth groans for HIS Glory!

We should expect the earth to respond to HIS Glory as we come into full maturity as Sons and Daughters of GOD.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Chronicles chapter 7:

14 if My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

15 Now My Eyes will be open and My Ears attentive to prayer made in this place. 16 For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My Name may be there forever; and My Eyes and My Heart will be there perpetually.

The land we possess will be physically restored.  The Spiritual impacts the physical.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the Glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;

21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.

23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?

25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

In other Words, it’s not just creation. We who have already experienced the firstfruits of the Spirit also inwardly groan as we passionately long to experience our full status as God’s Sons and Daughters—including our physical bodies being transformed.

Jesus affirmed this Truth in Mark chapter 4:

39 Then Jesus arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”

41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

When Jonathan’s equipment manager slaughtered the Philistines, the earth quaked.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in 1st Samuel chapter 14:

11 So both of them (Jonathan and his armor bearer) showed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines. And the Philistines said, “Look, the Hebrews are coming out of the holes where they have hidden.”

12 Then the men of the garrison called to Jonathan and his armorbearer, and said, “Come up to us, and we will show you something.” Jonathan said to his armorbearer, “Come up after me, for the LORD has delivered them into the hand of Israel.”

13 And Jonathan climbed up on his hands and knees with his armorbearer after him; and they fell before Jonathan. And as he came after him, his armorbearer killed them.

14 That first slaughter which Jonathan and his armorbearer made was about twenty men within about half an acre of land.

15 And there was trembling in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. The garrison and the raiders also trembled; and the earth quaked, so that it was a very great trembling.

As we walk in courage and without fear, we should expect to see physical manifestations all around us when HIS Glory is upon us.  Creation will respond accordingly so don’t be surprised.

Being Courageous

Friday, June 6th, 2025

It’s all about the Glory of GOD!

We must keep things in perspective.  As we walk in full maturity in Christ, we will glorify Our Heavenly Fathers in our words and actions.  Our light will draw all men unto HIM and bring forth Heaven to earth.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 60:

1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the Glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.

3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.

And in Habakkuk chapter 2:

14 For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.

The end goal is for everything to be immersed, bathed, and baptized in HIS Glory.

How important is the glory that manifested the Presence of Jesus?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 3:

23 for we all have sinned and are in need of the glory of God.

24 Yet through His powerful declaration of acquittal, God freely gives away His righteousness. His gift of Love and favor now cascades over us, all because Jesus, the Anointed One, has liberated us from the guilt, punishment, and power of sin!

The manifested Presence of Jesus was the initial target for every person alive, including creation, to be immersed in and live in this manifested Presence of Jesus and His Glory.

When sin happened, we fell short of that target.  But when Jesus forgave us, bought us, healed us, and delivered us, He restored us to the target which is still the Glory of THE LORD.

When you get courageous, you attract HIS Glory.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in 1st Samuel chapter 14:

6 Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, “Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the LORD will work for us. For nothing restrains the LORD from saving by many or by few.”

GOD is not limited by the size of what is set before us, by time, by numbers.  We are not to allow pressure to affect us because of numbers, time, or size.  The renewed mind is not impressed or intimidated with numbers.  It’s neither impressed or intimidated with the size of the problem.

The renewed mind comes from the realm of unlimited supply.  It’s not fantasy or mind over matter.  It’s a reality that we abide in and live in.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

7 If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Do you want to attract GOD’S glory?  Abide in Jesus, live in full unity with Him allowing His Words to live powerfully within you.  If you do, you will bear much fruit and glorify Our Heavenly Father here on earth.  Nothing will be impossible for you.  Why?  You live from the realm of abundant supply towards problems that arise.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 1:

27 Whatever happens, keep living your lives based on the reality of the Gospel of Christ. Then when I come to see you, or hear good reports of you, I’ll know that you stand united in one Spirit and one passion—celebrating together as conquerors in the faith of the Gospel.

28 And then you will never be shaken or intimidated by the opposition that rises up against us. Your courage will prove to be a sure sign from God of the adversaries’ coming destruction

As doers of The Word, we are to be courageous and as we are, we will not be intimidated by any circumstance.  We will bring forth HIS Glory on the earth.

Letting Go And Moving Forward

Thursday, June 5th, 2025

Bitterness develops because of suffering an offense from another person or persons!

Who would you rather correct an injustice against you, GOD or you?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 18:

3 “Learn this well: Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable like a little child, you will never be able to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

4 Whoever continually humbles himself to become like this little child is the greatest one in Heaven’s Kingdom realm.

5 And if you tenderly care for this little one on My behalf, you are tenderly caring for Me.

6 But if anyone abuses one of these little ones who believes in Me, it would be better for him to have a heavy boulder tied around his neck and be hurled into the deepest sea than to face the punishment he deserves!

7 “Misery will come to the one who lures people away into sin. Troubles and obstacles to your faith are inevitable, but great devastation will come to the one guilty of causing others to stumble!

Jesus includes you and me as His Children in the above passage.  Until we are fully mature, we are as immature children subject to abuse by others.  We are to let Him administer justice on our behalf.  If we trust IN HIM, then we will not be offended when someone commits an injustice.  Our level of maturity will be reflected by how quickly we let go of the offense.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 9:

8 And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.  AMP

FATHER gives us sufficient grace (enablement) to respond to every situation we encounter.  As we embrace the promise given to us in the above verse, we will not be moved by any challenge we encounter and, in many cases, we will provide the solution to those no matter what their need.  Those who offend us will not deter us from being fully led by THE SPIRIT.

The goal of the adversary is to keep us away from being a creative positive influence in culture and society.  If he can keep us dwelling on an offense of the past, becoming bitter, then our mindset will be distracted from being a blessing to others.

When we claim Spiritual realities, it must be measurable in the natural.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st John chapter 4:

20 Anyone can say, “I Love God,” yet have hatred toward another believer. This makes him a phony, because if you don’t love a brother or sister, whom you can see, how can you truly Love God, whom you can’t see?

21 For HE has given us this command: whoever Loves God must also demonstrate Love to others.

This includes those who offend us.  Claiming an unseen reality must be measurable in the natural.  FATHER, forgive them for they know not what they do.  If I am bitter toward somebody and I forgive them, my behavior towards them must change.  It doesn’t mean that trust has been rebuilt, it just means that as far as it depends on me, I am living in peace and I am not being controlled or manipulated by the circumstance of being hurt, abused, whatever the situation might be.

We must not let the sun go down on our anger.  I am to start my day as a redemptive person, today, I am going to live as a forgiver and be a blessing to others.

The Poison Of Bitterness

Wednesday, June 4th, 2025

Bitterness destroys the vessel it is in!

Bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 4:

27 do not give place to the devil.

29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.

32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

If we saw how undeserving of forgiveness we were when Christ forgave us, we would have no bitterness toward others.  How much more am I to forgive!  It doesn’t mean to trust again.  Trust must be earned, forgiveness doesn’t.

We receive forgiveness according to the forgiveness we give.

Jesus specifically dealt with this when He spoke in Matthew chapter 6:

12 Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us.

This is one aspect of being The Kingdom of GOD to earth as it is in Heaven.  Bitterness has become empowered, accentuated, emphasized, and promoted in the political conflict climate we live in.

GOD’S anger is always aimed at whatever interferes with Love!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 4:

26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

In other Words, don’t let the passion of your emotions lead you to sin! Don’t let anger control you or be fuel for revenge, not for even a day.  Don’t give the slanderous accuser, the Devil, an opportunity to manipulate you!

The emotion of anger is natural.  It is natural to rise up in anger when something in society is broken.  It just can’t lead to sin, resentment, bitterness, self-promotion, retaliation, or vindication.  Instead, we are to come to a place where we become redemptive solutions.  Being led by The Holy Spirit will cause those solutions to come forth, allowing us to take the proper action for the situation.

Bitter people lose trust quickly.  Everybody in society is looking for people to trust.  We vote for the most trustworthy people on the ballot.  This is true for the neighborhood we move to, the school we put our children into, and the advice we receive from others.  Who has our best interests at heart?  Bitter people are not trustworthy.  Their emotions guide their actions at the expense of others.

Don’t let the sun go down on your anger.  At the beginning of the day, I have determined to live redemptively and before I am sinned against and prepared to forgive as The Lord’s Prayer instructs.

I am committed to living the life of a forgiving person.  It doesn’t mean that I accept lying, stealing, or abuse done to me is acceptable.  I am not going to be controlled by the sins of another person.  I am not going to let the spirit of bitterness dictate to me my thoughts and my feelings.  I will rise above these circumstances because I am going to be a contributor to society.

What happens when I am filled with bitterness?  I’m holding on to the past.  If I am holding on to the past, I cannot hang on to the present and bring redemptive solutions that will affect the future.  We are called to be problem solvers, not problem makers.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 23:

34 While they were nailing Jesus to the cross, He prayed over and over, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they’re doing.” The soldiers, after they crucified him, gambled over his clothing.

And Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 6:

27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies and do something wonderful for them in return for their hatred.

28 When someone curses you, bless that person in return. When others mistreat and harass you, accept it as your mission to pray for them.

29 To those who despise you, continue to serve them and minister to them. If someone takes away your coat, give him as a gift your shirt as well.

30 When someone comes to beg from you, give to that person what you have. When things are wrongly taken from you, do not demand they be given back.

31 The way you want others to treat you is how you should treat everyone else.

There is no fruit of bitterness in His command.
