Connecting with Life or be consumed

June 19th, 2015

John 10:10  “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

What a bold statement Jesus made yet we know it is true. Jesus is Love just as FATHER is Love and He made a declaration of the Divine Intent of Love.  As we embrace Love we pursue life and its abundance.  If we follow any other path, we are subject to its harshness, emptiness, and dissatisfaction.

As HIS Sons and Daughters we should not feel guilty with success and prosperity.  When Peter filled his boat up with the fish he and others caught, I am sure his family received much blessing as expressed in Luke chapter 5:

5 But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”

6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.

7 So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.

When we respond to the Word of FATHER, we should expect success no matter what area it entails.  Much has been said about ruling and reigning in the coming Age and we must be willing to accept success as much as we have been accepting failure in the past.

Philippians 4:12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What things can we do?  All things!

What does “be of good courage” mean to you?  We must be willing to no longer be confined by our thinking and ascend to a higher level of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.  We must no longer settle for the expectation that today will be just like yesterday.  Instead we need to press in and know that FATHER will empower us to unequivocally fulfill our higher purpose in life.  As we approach the fullness of maturity, we should expect to manifest the same characteristics as our elder Brother, Our Lord Jesus Christ.  As we come into the fullness of Love and life, we will manifest the reality spoken of in 1 John chapter 4:

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

19 We love Him because He first loved us.

There are many who have prophesied and predicted a coming judgment and there is no question that judgment will come.  The only question is “when” not “if”.  Whether it occurs this year, next year, or some other time, we should not let any delay keep us from coming into the perfection of Love.  Why not embrace Love today and walk without fear, turmoil, and disappointment?  Embrace Love and you will embrace life and its richness.  People will be attracted to you and want what you have.  Love abounds and there is no short supply.  The Apostle Paul prayed in Philippians chapter 1:

9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,

11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

The day of judgment will come to all the earth.  Will light come forth from you or will you be seeking the light from others?  Let us be a light unto all the world when the judgment comes.  Their illusions will evaporate soon and they will finally seek out Truth from those who have fully embraced it and are living according to HIS Truth.  These are the ones connected with life.

Prosperity

June 18th, 2015

3 John 2  Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.  NKJV

Vine’s Dictionary of Greek words defines the soul as "the seat of Intellect": the seat of the sentient element in man, that by which he perceives, reflects, feels, and desires. Basically, the soul is the place that houses our will, our emotions, and our intellect (the thinking, reasoning part of us: The Mind).

The Beloved Disciple is praying for both our soul and our body to prosper as well as all things pertaining to us.  That covers all aspects of our existence.  Our health is dependent upon our soul prospering which is where our thinking, reasoning, and emotions occur.  The statement “mind over matter” is a true statement, especially in the case of health.  To take it a step farther, the appropriate statement should be “spirit over mind over matter”.  Whichever is stronger, spirit or mind, will determine the prosperity of your health.

Having spent nearly 15 years watching and using the EDS (electro-dermal screening) technology, I was able to observe the above in action.  A person’s “constitution” or emotional state could and would impact their body’s electrical system thus preventing them from being tested.  Their emotional state could block the flow from being measured.  You could counteract their state by use of a known homeopathic signal causing them to move toward equilibrium or a zero state.  This is why certain essential oils will impact a person to the point of bringing them peace.

I was also told stories about how forgiveness would impact the expression of cancer in the body.  One particular lady was bitter toward her grandmother and had breast cancer.  Once she finally forgave the grandmother, the cancer began to clear up.  She was fully restored.

Love is the ultimate answer to prosperity… Beloved.  Love is a state of being, not just an action, and its fruit are joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control and forgiveness.

The soul can become strong at the expense of your spirit and you can become wealthy.  However, this will not improve your health and many have died an apparent early death leaving their wealth to others.

The word prosper in the above passage means:

  1. to grant a prosperous and expeditious journey, to lead by a direct and easy way

  2. to grant a successful issue, to cause to prosper

  3. to prosper, be successful

If you really want to prosper in all areas, I am convinced that ascending to the fullness of Love is the pathway to prospering in all areas- spirit, soul, and body.  As you mature in Love, you need less because you don’t pursue worldly things and the specific resources you need for your calling will be attracted to you.  Some will need many resources, others will need less.  We don’t define ourselves by the resources under our command.  As you walk in Love, your hunger is satisfied by foods that fulfill the requirements of the body rather than satisfying the fleshly appetite.  You become sensitive to correcting the past by removing interferences brought into your soul and body.  These interferences would restrict or block the flow in their respective areas.  Forgiveness will remove blockages.

As you remove the barriers to the flow of life, you move to a higher state.  When testing young children with the EDS device, the typical flow of energy was high.  When testing a cancer patient, the typical flow was very low.

With this understanding, let us look at the Words of Our Loving FATHER in Proverbs 4:

20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you.

25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you.

26 Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.

27 Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.

Prosperity of the spirit will move to the soul and then the body.  Love is the Way.

Who do you trust?

June 17th, 2015

In the news, a Caucasian woman claimed to be black.  Michael Jackson changed his look to appear less black.  Females want to be male and males want to be female.  There is a widespread identity crisis.  A recently deceased high school classmate defined her obituary by exalting the Seattle Seahawks professional football team.  Who do you identify with and place your trust and allegiance?

Illusion has replaced Truth and reality.  Who are you?  You are Love even if operating in a state of separation.  We are all created from FATHER’S Divine Intent and HE is Love thus we are Love.  The problem arises in the flesh where men and women are blinded by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.  In the days, weeks, months, and years ahead, we will be subjected to change and chaos.  Each generation has had their own set of challenges but this could be the generation that sees the culmination of the close of one age and the beginning of another.  It appears we are in that transition.

Many of us have lived through times of consistency where there were expectations of a somewhat reliable future where one could plan accordingly.  It looks like those days are gone.  Mankind has been moving into a time of transition where the past is no indication of the future.  Trust among people, institutions, and nations is reaching a new low.  The illusions created by man’s systems are now being fully exposed.

Who can you trust to be looking out for your best interest?  As men become desperate, they can no longer be trusted.  As governments stray from righteousness, they can’t be trusted.  Only Our Heavenly Father can be fully trusted to do what is best for us at all times.

In Deuteronomy 28, there are two main sections: blessings on obedience and curses on disobedience.  What differentiates the two?

15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you.”

FATHER has been longsuffering with the nations.  HIS Grace and Mercy have been extended beyond our understanding but there comes a point when correction becomes necessary.  In the transition to the Passover Age, Egypt was judged in a severe fashion.  In the transition to the Age of Pentecost, the Temple was destroyed, Rome fell, and those in charge were removed.  This transition appears to be no different in the severity.  For the last ten years as of December of this year, FATHER has been preparing us by revealing the depths of HIS Love for mankind.  When HE was preparing Joshua to enter into the Promised Land, Joshua was told to be of good courage.  We too must be of good courage in the months ahead.  The blessings of obedience center around hearing and responding by obeying what we hear:

1 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God.”

It is all about trust.  FATHER is Who we will count on as we navigate the turbulence ahead.  We cannot be lukewarm in our pursuit of walking fully in THE SPIRIT.  We must make it our number one priority.  Shed any weight that would redirect your focus to the temporal things of this world.  The Psalmist understood the brevity of the situation:

18:2  The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

18:30  As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

In Proverbs chapter 3 we are urged to trust FATHER:

1 My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands;

2 For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.

3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck,

Write them on the tablet of your heart,

4 And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.

9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;

10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

If any of the latest prophecies and predictions come true, it will be imperative that we have a foundation of trust in FATHER.  By knowing the depths of HIS Love will we be able to fully trust every Word that proceeds out of HIS mouth.  FATHER’S unfathomable resources are awaiting the mature Sons.  Let us not become weary as we continue our trek up the Holy Mountain.  Let not our trust IN HIM waver.  HE is the Rock of our salvation.

Recurring Assistance for “Love in Action”

June 16th, 2015

I was asked about those who are financially assisting using their credit cards.  Each month you will need to donate because we do not retain your credit card information.  If we added that feature, we would have to spend a minimum of $25,000 to meet all the security requirements now in place to handle recurring credit card payments.  We opted not to do so.  However, we will send an email as a friendly reminder.

Letting Go

June 16th, 2015

Releasing attachments, as an act of Love, is the most difficult expression for anyone.  AS an example, parents must release children in order for them to mature and make decisions on their own.  Your past may be an attachment that you are trying to hold on to and relive day after day.  Doctrines can be attachments that no longer apply as new revelation comes forth.  Giving up control, money, possessions, and any other aspect of your life that would try to keep you subservient to its conditions are tough to release.

“Self” wants to hold on to things and conditions.  Love releases as an expression of itself.  A bird cannot live in the nest forever but is pushed out by its mother.  FATHER released us into this physical life to become separate expressions of Love but of our choice not HIS.  HE gave us the right to choose and released us to make those decisions rather than us operating as robots according to HIS Will.

Everything you Love will not depart from you but that which you don’t Love needs to be released so that it does not restrict you from fulfilling your calling.  Fear and hatred must be released through forgiveness.  Jesus focused on how Love moves you toward perfection and maturing in Matthew chapter 5:

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?  Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others?  Do not even the tax collectors do so?

48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Fear of the unknown causes people to become hoarders.  My mother and dad lived next door to such a person.  The lady kept everything including magazines, newspapers, and mail.  Her living room was a maze with narrow paths around all the materials she hoarded.  Women buy excessive clothing; men buy tools they never use; people save every penny in fear that they will not have enough money to sustain themselves.  When I was in banking, I knew a man who at the time was worth more than $25 million yet he rode around in an old dilapidated truck and lived in a house in disrepair.  He had a deep-seated fear of lack and would not spend any money.   How much did he leave his heirs?  All of it!

In Matthew 6, Jesus addresses this fear:

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We must have faith and trust in Our Heavenly Father.  Until we do, we will keep our attachments and not let them go.  Those attachments become clutter and complicate our lives hindering our ability to be expressions of Love to others.  We rent storage space to accumulate more and more until one day those possessions have deteriorated to worthlessness.  We finally throw them away instead of giving them to those in need while they were still of use and value.

If each of us will rightly assess the attachments that want to cling to us and jettison them out of our midst, FATHER will expand our stewardship and influence.  Selfishness wants to keep those attachments no matter what they are.  Jesus did not maintain multiple houses, storage spaces, or massive wardrobes.  His simplicity of life is an excellent example of how we should live.  When He needed resources, He commanded them by Love to come forth.  He had the necessary faith, trust, and expectation that FATHER would provide His every need.  FATHER will do that for you and me as well.   Simplicity promotes flexibility and frees us up to respond to HIS Plan, Will, and Purpose.  Complexity and attachments weight us down and we become servants to structure.  We must be willing to let go!

Love in Action

June 15th, 2015

In response to the prophesied coming judgment of the U.S. and elsewhere, Servias Ministries is taking action to help those in need by setting up a clearinghouse for those with resources to help those without.

Acts 4:32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,

35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.

Everything was held in common. The remark is not a reflection of political philosophy, but of the extent of their spontaneous commitment to one another. Such a response does not have the function of a command, but is reflective of an attitude that Luke commends as evidence of their identification with one another.

I have produced a video to explain the details:

A Basic Truth

June 15th, 2015

GOD is Love and everyone was created by HIS Divine Intent.

Consider the ramifications of that statement.  Doesn’t that explain why you must Love your neighbor and even Love your enemies?  If everyone was created by Love then  their level of wellness is determined by whatever condition their Love is currently in.  When the inner power of Love is neglected or denied, the outer reflects this neglect.  When one abuses Love, he or she moves to a state of disequilibrium and becomes conflicted in all areas of life, a state of confusion exists.

Jesus Christ is the pattern Son to compare our walk with.  He was never sick or feeble but instead healed all manner of sickness and disease.  Each of us must consider our current state of wellness and compare it to His example.  We can rationalize why we are in a lesser state but in the final analysis we must give consideration to the issue at hand.

There has been something missing in the maturing process of many.  When we look at those who are scholars, we see that they have not found the answer to wellness.  I was in a meeting where the keynote speaker who was esteemed as being most Spiritually mature could barely walk and found it necessary to sit while preaching his message.  The body is designed to heal itself so we must conclude that there is some interference in the body when all internal systems are not operating as designed.  I would tell you that past choices of denial, abuse, and/or neglect of Love are the source of the problem.

FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love is expressed in Psalm 103:

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;

And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits:

3 Who forgives all your iniquities,

Who heals all your diseases,

4 Who redeems your life from destruction,

Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,

So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

As each of us focuses on the revelation of Love, we should expect restoration to come forth.  FATHER is in the restoration business and as we align ourselves with HIS Divine Intent inwardly, the outward will begin to reflect and express this change.  Love commands the GOD particles that make up your body.  You DNA is held together by Love and any perversion or alteration to its function is due to the departure from the essence of Love.  When you move toward full equilibrium of Love, you are moving toward that zero point where the Spiritual flow has no resistance and all aspects of your spirit, soul, and body come into conformity to HIS perfect Will, Plan, and Purpose.

Will the body become “glorified” when we reach that zero point?  I believe the answer is found in the full revelation of Love.

Drawing Wrong Conclusions

June 14th, 2015

Our mind is a wonderful servant but it is a harsh taskmaster.  The mind relies on structure and the associated input to draw a logical conclusion.  In its simplest form, you look at three points on a map and the beginning point is where you are at.  The second point is 50 miles west of you and the third point is 100 miles west.  Your mind would conclude that you should head west in a straight line and continue on that path.  That seems logical.  What if on that road there is a bridge washed out but you are unaware of it?  Because of this you would have to backtrack 30 miles in order to arrive at your endpoint.  Your mind only utilized the information it had and would draw the same conclusion each time it was presented with the problem.  Over time, a bias forms and becomes ingrained in your thinking.  Relying on history to project the future can be a critical mistake as we enter a transition into a new Spiritual Age.

Consider the day before the death angel passed over Egypt in Exodus 12:

1 Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

2 “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.

3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.

7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.

12 ‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

The Age of Passover superseded the logic of the children of Israel.  The had no experience of being anything but slaves to the Egyptians.  Their logic kept them on the same path of slavery each and every day until FATHER changed their direction by HIS Word.  HE defied the logic of their minds by protecting them with the blood of a lamb while they heard the results of the death angel that passed over them and executed judgment on the firstborn of the Egyptians:

30 So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

They were spared solely by their faith in the Words of FATHER.  We are reminded of this in Hebrews:

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.

28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.

We are moving toward tumultuous times ahead.  No matter how it manifests, we should be prepared.  What preparations are appropriate?  Those that FATHER tells us to make.  As we focus on HIS priorities and mature in HIS Love we will be ready for whatever comes to pass.  We cannot look around and think that the coming years will be just like the past years with no major changes.  HIS SPIRIT provides us with the missing information and insight needed to draw the correct conclusions.

When we focus on the internal, we should expect the external to change as a result.  I must change in order for my situation to change.  Your mind would convince you of the opposite.  It would tell you that if you only had more money, a better job, or some other external event, all would be good.  Your mind will continue to draw the wrong conclusions if left to its own devices.  Job wrote of this in chapter 5:

8 “But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause—

9 Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number.

10 He gives rain on the earth, And sends waters on the fields.

11 He sets on high those who are lowly, And those who mourn are lifted to safety.

12 He frustrates the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot carry out their plans.

13 He catches the wise in their own craftiness, And the counsel of the cunning comes quickly upon them.

14 They meet with darkness in the daytime, And grope at noontime as in the night.

15 But He saves the needy from the sword, From the mouth of the mighty, And from their hand.

FATHER provides us with any missing Truth and facts needed for our understanding of how to navigate the times ahead.  HE is not restricted to time or space and thus knows the beginning from the end.  If the bridge is washed out between you and your final destination, HE will show you the optimum path to take even though it defies your logic.  HE will interrupt or delay your travel to keep you from being a participant in an accident.  As you are led by HIS SPIRIT, you will be kept safe from harm’s way.

We must not rely on our mind’s logic at the expense of being led by HIS SPIRIT:

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

It is imperative that we not rely on our minds and their conclusions when the paradigm of the past evaporates before our very eyes.  Expect the unexpected for now is the time to prepare the internal.  Your heart prepared in Love will guide you as you are fully connected to FATHER.  HIS Divine Intent will order your steps.

Self-Control

June 13th, 2015

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

The fruit of THE SPIRIT begin with Love and end with self-control, the mastery of one’s desires and appetites.  As we progress through the nine fruit of THE SPIRIT we will mature into Sons that FATHER can utilize in the times ahead.  Walking in the nine fruit will result in you being fully lawful in the sight of FATHER and man.  As you produce fruit in these areas you will be included among those who are Christ’s.  What a privilege!

Self-control is the last fruit to be mentioned and may be the most difficult in the maturing process.  Successfully controlling “self” to the point of crucifying the flesh was required of Jesus in its completeness at the cross.  We too must master this final fruit to become a fully mature Son.  Love begins the process and self-control completes it.

In the U.S. addiction is a huge problem.  Addiction is giving way to the passions and desires of the flesh.  It is all about “self”.  Men and women want to escape reality even if only for a few minutes or hours and are willing to abuse their body in order to do so.  They will spend their entire paycheck in order to get “high” whether it be drugs, alcohol, or sex.  After the high wears off, they experience an even greater emptiness than before.  Only Love will fill that void and as Love grows in their hearts, they will begin to experience the other fruit culminating in self-control.  The Alcoholics Anonymous organization taps into the the expressing of Love toward others in its meetings.  The attendees are unconditionally accepted and forgiven of their past.  They confess their sins and conditions openly to the group.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Once we are fruitful and gain mastery over “self”, we will now be led by THE SPIRIT.  We must not let this walk cause us to become conceited, exalting ourselves in any fashion.  We must not envy others who are also being led by THE SPIRIT.  Love rejoices when good fruit abounds no matter who produces the fruit needed for the situation.  As we are led by THE SPIRIT manifesting the fruit of THE SPIRIT, we will be entrusted with the Gifts of THE SPIRIT:

1 Corinthians 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:

8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,

10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

The gifts are given to profit all and that is the ultimate expression of Love.  In the Age of Pentecost, men operated in one or more gifts but not to the extent that Jesus operated in the manifestations.  Agape Love was not the primary focus in this Age.  Generally speaking, faith was the focus in the last 100 years.  Now that Love has come to the forefront, we should expect greater things, greater operations, and greater results.  Only by self-control and dying to the flesh will those gifts operate at those levels.  FATHER will not give power and authority to those HE cannot trust to walk in complete self-control.

Self-control means that you must overcome your will fully and completely and take on HIS Will.  If you continue to have regrets associated with what you have given up to walk according to HIS Path, your passions and appetites have not been fully placed on the altar.  As you take on HIS SPIRIT, you become focused on HIS priorities and you no longer are interested in the former passions and desires of the flesh.  “Self” is now fully subjected to THE SPIRIT.  Your mind is now a servant and not your master.  FATHER will now impart the power and authority to bring forth HIS Kingdom on earth.  We are moving rapidly to a time of reckoning and those who walk in THE SPIRIT will be the ones who have been prepared in all nine fruit of THE SPIRIT.  There will be no regret.

Faithless Generation

June 12th, 2015

Luke 9:41 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you?”

Matthew 17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you?”

Mark 9:19 He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you?”

Jesus was speaking to His disciples who were unable to heal a boy who was possessed by a demonic spirit.  The disciples had been able to heal people of sickness and disease but were chastised by Jesus for not discerning that this boy was being plagued by a demonic spirit.  Most of us would have been thrilled with the results of the disciples in the area of healing but Jesus was not.

Matthew 17:18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

Jesus immediately discerned that there was a demon and knew He had authority over that demon.  He cast the demon out of the boy and he was cured.  This is the full Gospel.  We must not be satisfied with some spotty results but we must expect complete success as power and authority from Above is imparted to us in these times.  We should expect the best from FATHER so that we can deal with any matter coming before us.  The disciples were puzzled by their inability to deal with the boy:

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

This is a critical question to be answered.  Do we accept only partial success or do we look for complete success of our prayers?  Those naysayers will also look toward failure to justify their current state and argue why they shouldn’t change their path toward death and destruction.  Jesus already declared the disciples to be a faithless and perverse generation.  Ouch!  He responded:

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

We must press in and not be denied.  As we pray and commune with FATHER, HE will speak to us in all situations and we will hear HIS Voice as we encounter those in need.  Some will need healing by the laying on of hands whereas others will need a demon cast out.  Our fruit in this area will be based on our maturity in hearing HIS Voice.  The fruit of the SPIRIT begin with Love:

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness (faith), 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

The fruit start with Love and end with self-control.  Isn’t fasting a result of “self-control”?  Think about it.  The final fruit may be the most difficult to walk in.  The Way which is the path Jesus urges us to walk keeps us from being perverse or on the wrong path.  We must overcome “self” and the associated lusts to walk the correct path.  We must “fast” or abstain from the way of self.  We must get it under control!  “Not my will but YOURS, FATHER!” must be our heartfelt declaration for us to come to the point of being able to discern if there is a spirit behind a situation such as was present with the boy.

The Gifts of the SPIRIT differ from the fruit of THE SPIRIT.  Let us produce fruit so that we can be found worthy for the Gifts to operate in our lives.  The Gifts are expressions of Love to those in need and FATHER is looking for good stewards to impart these Gifts.  As we pursue a walk of Love directed by FATHER, we should expect to operate in the Gifts as Jesus did.  During the Age of Pentecost, men were given none, one, or some.  In the Age before us, we should expect to walk in a greater anointing but self-control must result in our lives and become a non-issue.  Let us not be counted among the “faithless and perverse” generation.
