Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

Love does not create division.  Man’s ego will convince him to exalt himself over another.  It is true when people apply prophecies to specific groups of people.  The Jews did this and continue to do this in many of the prophecies found in the Old Testament.  They judge themselves by their intentions and judge everyone else by their actions.  Peter was a great example.  He walked with Jesus and was in the inner circle, yet when the pressure came, he denied Christ three times.  If that wouldn’t disqualify you, what would?  Instead, Jesus forgave him and the rest of the world for they did not know what they were doing.  Later, Peter was empowered with the Holy Spirit and went forth in his calling.  Peter assumed that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was restricted to a subset of civilization, specifically the Jews, the chosen ones.  He had a narrow view of “The Plan”.  Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  Earth isn’t just a single region set aside for Our Heavenly Father to reign with the rest of the geography outside HIS Kingdom.  No, I believe the Creator of the whole earth will redeem every nation, all people, and nobody will be left behind.  Isn’t that what Love does?  Peter finally saw the big picture in the verse above.

Our Heavenly Father has the ability to plant a remnant in every corner of the world.  Would HE be partial to 1% of HIS creation at the expense of the rest?  Paul was called to preach to the Gentiles:

Ephesians 3:5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel.

Love embraces all of mankind and righteous judgment does not differentiate between any two individuals based on their past.  Being “chosen” by Our Heavenly Father does not denote an imperial position with everyone else bowing down.  On the contrary, it denotes service to mankind and dying to the flesh.  It is man’s ego that want to divide and promote partiality.

Jesus showed no partiality when it came to ministering to those in need.  He was as comfortable with a harlot as He was with a priest or a Roman soldier.  We are not to esteem one above another.  I have seen many men attempt to align themselves with the wealthy, as though being close to a wealthy person would somehow cause some money to float in their direction.  Warren Buffet’s hoard of followers is a great example.  If they could just get a little closer to Warren, maybe some of his brilliance would wear off on them.  Not!  If only men were as excited as pursuing a closeness with Our Heavenly Father as they are in pursuing the “rich and famous”.  The ego is an unsympathetic taskmaster.

As we walk in the Revelation of Love, we too will no longer show partiality toward others.  The beggar will be appreciated for who he is versus the rich man.  Both were created by Our Heavenly Father for a purpose.  Our problem is that we are often blind to that purpose and only know in part.  We then become “partial”.  We need to focus on being complete and in unity.

When you withhold the truth about a matter, you become subject to the Law of Equal Weights and Measures and the Law of Victim’s Rights.  First of all, you cannot suppress the truth in your communication with Our Heavenly Father.  HE already knows the truth of the matter.  Thus you can only suppress the truth in your communication with other people, the very people you should be ministering Love to.  Lies, deceit, misleading statements and deception, all describe the act of suppressing the truth.  Government officials are notorious for suppressing the truth.  Anyone led by self-preservation is guilty of suppressing the truth.  Suppressing the truth is done by intent.  The ego is at the source of this insidious intent and Our Heavenly Father is bound by HIS Law to deal with the suppression of the Truth.  Paul states it like this:

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

The Love of Our Heavenly Father demands that HE enforce the laws against those who victimize others by withholding the truth of a matter.  HIS judgments fit the crime.  For instance, on a national scale, those in power who persistently suppress the truth in relation to the citizens of the country and those of other countries, will ultimately place their own country under judgment.  The leader always reflects the hearts of the people.  In the U.S., it is well known that people vote “their pocketbooks”, not the moral choice.  This explains how a leader can be caught lying and still be re-elected.  As the unrighteousness mounts up against nations, there comes a day of reckoning and the balancing of the scales will fit the crime.  Think not that Our Heavenly Father will simply allow the lawlessness to be smoothed over by some feeble attempt to plead for mercy to HIM.  HIS Character demands the victims be recompensed for the injustices.  By depreciating the value of money and exploiting the widows, orphans, homeless, and others in need, those in power are insuring their day of judgment is to come with a vengeance.  This is true on a corporate level as well as a personal level.

When you have wronged somebody, you must go and seek forgiveness from them.  If not, you will by necessity suffer the wrath of Our Heavenly Father.  HIS wrath is a righteous anger and provides an adequate restitution for the wrong suffered.  It may manifest in a sickness or disease, an economic event, a division among family members, or other means.  Ultimately, you will get what you deserve.  If you dish out unrighteousness, you will receive like payment.  To break the cycle, you must endure the restitution or seek and obtain forgiveness from the victim who has the right to remove the imbalance from the scale.

Do you think that you can escape the judgment of Our Heavenly Father?  Do you think that by only asking HIM to forgive you will wipe the slate clean of your unrighteousness towards your fellow man?  Jesus made it abundantly clear that forgiveness among those you interact with is required to remove judgment.  “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do” was Jesus’ willingness to make sure that wrath did not wipe out the world when He went to the cross.  When Stephen was being stoned, he made sure that Saul (who was Paul) did not receive the full weight of the Law:

Acts 7:60 NKJV
Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not charge them with this sin." And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

All of us have been guilty of not being our brother’s keeper.  Additionally, we have all been victims of others’ suppression of the Truth.  As we each pursue Love, we will have our eyes opened to stop the lawlessness that requires restitution.  We can then receive the wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to resolve the issues with others that require restitution.  As we restore our relationships through Love and die to “self”, we end the cycle of lawlessness that demanded restitution.  As we forgive, we will be forgiven in like manner.  We will then truly appreciate the fact that the Truth will set us free.
