A Return to Value(s)

January 23rd, 2014

As we mature in our understanding and knowledge in matters of the greatest importance, we will begin to instruct others who will seek out answers in the current economic system.  The current system differs from the Roaring 20’s in that we have a more integrated infrastructure now.  Back then, you did not have millions of automobiles on the highway, planes in the air, and trains transporting goods imported from across the globe.  This is a primary factor why we can have such high unemployment without interruption in goods and services.  The primary problem now is that this infrastructure masks the problem to policymakers.  When you enter the Port of Miami, you see the hustle and bustle of activity, the gleaming skyscrapers in the background, and the normal traffic jams on the expressways.  Only a few short blocks away, you do not see the poverty and those surviving on government transfer payments.

The macroeconomic picture has not improved.  The debt continues to grow, interest rates continue to be manipulated to zero, and the unemployment continues at over 20%:

Remember, John Williams is using raw government statistics for this comparison.  When you have economists inserting their bias into raw numbers, you can see they want to paint a rosy picture to support their views.  This illusion cannot and will not be sustained indefinitely.  When the “books” are finally reconciled,  expect a mass of people to be searching for answers.  Their dreams will have been destroyed, their hearts will be filled with fear, and they will be angry.  It will be needful for those who are being prepared to serve up some “good” fruit.  It is imperative that we continue our maturing process as the current system grows weaker by the day.  Someone will be called upon to direct those in despair to return to a state of true values.  Jesus was empowered to feed those who were hungry.  Rest assured, that power is still available to those who will be prepared to utilize it in a lawful and Loving manner.

We at Servias Ministries will continue our efforts to minister life, Love, and instruction for the purpose of maturing our brethren.  We believe unity brings forth strength in times of chaos and transition.  Division is designed to keep you weak.  Promote unity, we are!

1/11 for 11 days

January 10th, 2014

I will be on a “special” mission for 11 days beginning on the 11th and will have limited access to the Internet.  I don’t expect to write any blogs during that period unless Our Heavenly Father decides something different.  For those who haven’t yet watched our online broadcasts of “Raising a Remnant”, I encourage you to do so.  We archive them so you are not required to watch them live.  Go to  http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-baptism-of-love  It is best to watch them in order.  If you get a single, fresh revelation in 75 minutes of viewing, isn’t it worth it?  You don’t even have to travel a thousand miles to get it.  What a deal!

Pressing toward the Goal

January 10th, 2014

I expect 2014 to be a year of “variables”.  When I was a boy, life was pretty simple.  The economy was stable, our family had one car, and mom stayed home, taking care of two boys.  The warmth and wind dried our clothes outside on a clothesline.  Today, the complexities of this society have increased exponentially.  There are so many diversions to your focus and so many opinions, you must make a decision on who you believe to be looking out for your best interest.  Major corporations own news agencies and television networks now.  They promote the own subtle agendas through the media.  They hand pick celebrities who will reflect their motives.  They will parade a group of highly credentialed economists in front of the camera to assure us that Janet Yellen is the perfect person to run the Federal Reserve Bank.  Who is wise enough and smart enough to keep the wheels on the financial wagon in the U.S., given the current conditions?  In one word… nobody.

The current system is based on assumptions, conclusions, and incomplete information.  For all practical purposes, it is another long term experiment.  The experiment spans decades thus it is difficult for an individual to assess its current status.  Only those who have a broader perspective can see the trend of currency destruction that continues unabated.  When my dad complained of inflation, I had no perspective or appreciation of his comments.  “Fifty cents for a cup of coffee?  Unbelievable!”  Now I find myself exclaiming the same thing but with larger numbers.  When I was in college, the oil companies would have “gas wars” and the price of a gallon of gas would drop down to 19 cents, from 28-32 cent range.  Have our wages kept up with inflation?  No.  Inflation hurts most of society.  It simply provides the illusion of economic health for a period of time.  We are in the latter stages of currency destruction now.  It is like reporting on a slow-motion train wreck.  How long will it be before we reach the tipping point of a harsh economic event?  Only Our Heavenly Father knows.  Everyone else must simply guess.

To serve my brothers and sisters in the best way I can, I write what I hear and comprehend Our Heavenly Father is expressing to me.  I now have a 42 year track record of hearing HIS Voice.  Over that period, I have fallen into the ditch several times by not listening and responding.  As a loving Father, HE has picked me up, encouraged me, corrected me, then continued my training.  The one thing I now have is perspective.  I have gratitude and appreciation for HIS deliverance out of the throes death, destruction, disease, and other events that many experience.

When will the second coming of Christ occur?  I have been hearing that question for nearly four decades.  My current belief:  When the Sons of GOD are sufficiently matured, not a minute sooner.  Do you think Our Heavenly Father would allow a vacuum of leadership?  HE never has.  HE has raised up heathen kings to do HIS bidding as needed.  Until the remnant is ready, the current system will be kept in place.

Are you going to observe the coming of the Kingdom or are you going to participate?  There is an old saying:  There are three types of people-  Those that make things happen, those that watch things happen, and those that wonder what happened.  If you are not drawn to preparation, you must ask yourself why.  Paul spoke about “pressing toward the mark” in Philippians 3:

12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Are you led by The Spirit or by your cravings?  Out of you belly will come one of two results: lust or Living Water.  Paul warned of the first scenario:

17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. 18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

Jesus promised the second scenario on the 8th Day of Tabernacles:

John 7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart (or belly) will flow rivers of living water.”

I write economics blogs to help you navigate through the times ahead in order that you may prepare spiritually.  Our goal with the writings, books, and online broadcasts are to prepare and mature those who are led to participate in the “second coming”, not just observe.  The mature son is the one who will be given the power and authority, not the one who simply “watched” events unfold.  Think about it.

Devaluing the Proud

January 9th, 2014

The word “Proud” means: showing one’s self above others, overtopping, conspicuous above others, pre-eminent

There is much activity occurring concerning the “proud”.  Stephen Jones is heading up a prayer campaign concerning “resistance”.  We are looking at “giving circles” to help fund those who are fighting, resisting the human trafficking around the world.  The “Proud” attempt to devalue everyone else by exalting themselves in stature due to money, power, intelligence, fame, and/or athleticism.  The rest of society empowers them by agreeing to exalt them.  Without followers, the “Proud” have no audience.  It is well known that Wall Street had disdain for the average man.  They think they are superior to everyone else since they work at the center of Mystery Babylon.  They are in company with the “Proud” who work inside the beltway in D.C.  In each case, their power comes from the submission and passiveness of the masses.   What would happen to the NFL or NBA is no one showed up to their games or watched them on TV?  Salaries would plummet.  Stardom would fade away.  Pro athletes need followers.  What does Our Heavenly Father think about the “Proud”?

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for

“God resists the proud,

But gives grace to the humble.”

Peter further writes:

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

The flesh or ego exalts the “Proud” and Our Heavenly Father exalts the humble.. in due time.  Mankind is currently perpetuating the path of the “Proud”.  This is while Our Heavenly Father is resisting them.  HE mocks the mockers.  A mocker is a scoffer: someone who jeers or mocks or treats something with contempt or calls out in derision.  The true colors will show themselves soon.  People will no longer support those who devalue mankind.  The “elite” are only in their position because of the blindness of the average person.  As people turn to Our Heavenly Father and take on HIS priorities and set their own priorities aside, the proud will be resisted.  An example of this is when you trade in your country’s currency for a gold or silver coin.  Effectively, you have removed financial control from others, you have devalued the fiat currency.  They rely on the use of fiat currency to control the economic activity in your country.  This is why the Federal Reserve was established- for control.

In other countries, the U.S. is seen as being “proud”.  The pre-eminence of its economy and military has rubbed its power in the face of other countries.  Its dominant economy has been too much for other countries to challenge.  But it is not too much for Our Heavenly Father to deal with.  What happens when HE becomes our adversary?  A devaluation occurs, with extreme prejudice.  When this happens, HE will give grace to the humble, those who live in moderation.  Can you see how the Spiritual preparation is tying to the economic preparation of what’s ahead?  The Chinese are being moved to decouple economic activity from the U.S. Dollar.  They are being used as agents to resist the proud, whether they know it or not.  When this decoupling occurs, we all should be prepared, based on what Our Heavenly Father has instructed us to do.  HE knows the plan and will implement it in perfection.  As we trust in HIM, we will be the ones who receive grace.

2014 Macro View

January 8th, 2014

John Williams’ latest commentary on the state of the U.S. economy and dollar:

Extremely Difficult Circumstances in the Year Ahead:

Confluence of Economic and Systemic Crises Should Intensify
With Global Confidence in Dollar Rattled by Uncontrollable Fiscal and Monetary Excesses,
U.S. Government and the Federal Reserve Have Limited Options to Address Panics
Heavy Selling of U.S. Dollar Remains Likely Proximal Trigger for Inflation Pick-Up
Developing Hyperinflation Would Push Ongoing Recession into Deep Depression
Physical Gold Remains Primary Hedge for Preserving Wealth and Assets

John is an expert on the macroeconomic statistics generated by the federal government.  If anyone understands the brevity of the problem, it is him.  I would not take lightly his comments.  Timing is always difficult in the “macro” arena, but the numbers tell the story.

Peace on Earth

January 8th, 2014

Psalm 31:20   Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Peace on earth begins in the Presence of Our Heavenly Father.  From there, it spreads outward toward mankind.  In the above passage, “Thou shalt” is a declaration that we will be hidden away from the plots, conspiracies, intrigues, and attacks from men.  Further, we will be spared from their strife, accusations, contentiousness, anger, and poisonous gossip.  Our Heavenly Father will hide us in HIS pavilion.  The word pavilion means booth or tabernacle.  We will be dwelling with HIM in secret.  In HIS Presence is no strife or anger.  Who is invited into HIS pavilion?  The previous verse (19) tells us:

Oh, how great is Your goodness,

Which You have laid up for those who fear You,

Which You have prepared for those who trust in You

In the presence of the sons of men!

As we have gone into detail in our weekly Bible study, the “fear of the LORD” is the beginning of wisdom.  Ask, seek, and knock correlate to wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.  Are you constantly in turmoil?  Seek to be in HIS Presence.  Are you constantly being attacked by others?  Enter into HIS pavilion.  In the final analysis, all of the solutions to your problems are found in HIS Presence, nowhere else!!!  Yet man seeks every other path for answers.  Why?  He does not want to die to the flesh, but instead, he wants to “have it his way” rather than serve mankind.  Isn’t it time to put away the childish things of the flesh?  The Great Love Chapter of the Bible says it this way:

1 Corinthians 13:11  When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

A sign of maturity is to seek HIS Presence.  The immature continue to run to and fro looking for signs as their guide to life.  We must be careful about signs: all signs are from GOD, but not all signs are relevant:

Matthew 12:39 But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

A sign is defined as: an object, quality, or event whose presence or occurrence indicates the probable presence or occurrence of something else.

Would you rather have a sign from Our Heavenly Father or be in HIS Presence?  There is no lasting peace in a sign.  It is a temporary comfort.  On the other hand, HIS Presence is lasting.  Over the years, I have seen many gone astray by “majoring” on signs, myself included.  One who pays too much attention to signs can be easily distracted into fruitlessness.  Signs are primarily to confirm HIS Word to you, not the opposite.  If you are constantly looking for a sign, you will find it.

Ezekiel 14:4   Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;

Our Heavenly Father will oblige you with signs if that is what you want.  As for me, I would rather be in HIS Presence.  Do you want the real thing or the representation of the real thing?  If you are a sign seeker, repent, then focus on receiving wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.  Our Heavenly Father will respond:

Matthew 7:7-8   Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Again, HE Loves you!

The Three Intents of Man

January 7th, 2014

Mankind is generally motivated by one of three different intents.  All three may be operating simultaneously in the same individual depending on the circumstances.  That tends to cause confusion in the person’s mind and is one of the reasons why people will not change.  They look at only a portion of their actions and point to them as though the lower levels of intent were not operating in them.  Thus they rationalize why they don’t need to grow, a sign of immaturity.  These three intents parallel the three feasts Our Heavenly Father established for all men to observe:  Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles.  They also parallel three types of “love”.

Selfishness is the “love” of self and is focused on preserving one’s current state.  Fear is a primary motivator for this type of person.  They are afraid of giving up their current state of existence, they have fear of the unknown.  They are also afraid of being rejected.  Everything they do and think is centered around self-preservation, even at the expense of others.  They will subtly scheme to get their way and are lawless in their hearts even though they may appear to be compliant.  They seek salvation to save their souls.  After all, none of us want to die or burn in hell.  Immature Christians often stay in this category for they want to maintain their “fire” insurance and still preserve their current self-motivated walk.  They have an attitude of division:  me versus everyone else.

The Law was given at Pentecost.  Hearing Our Heavenly Father’s Voice was at the center of this event.  Moses received the Ten Commandments and fellowshipped with Our Heavenly Father.  This feast parallels phileo love.  This type of love is conditional, the second type of intent.  If you do this or that, I will love you.  This is akin to a contract, or legal agreement.  In the church environment, this attitude of conditions has been perpetuated and has permeated the thinking of Christians.  If you pray enough, you will be healed.  If you cry enough, Our Heavenly Father will finally heal you.  If you confess enough prosperity Scriptures, you will be financially rewarded.  This type of love centers around the Law of conditions.  This group views their relationship to Our Heavenly Father primarily through the Law.  HE is viewed as the enforcer and will punish those who challenge HIM.  This group also has an attitude of division:  us against them.  This intent is focused on enforcement of behavior according to some law.

The third intent of man is represented by unconditional Love. The Law is no longer the primary focus because those who walking according to this level of intent need no enforcement.  They cheerfully walk out their life laying down their life for others.  Does that do away with the Law?  No.  They simply obey the intent of the Law and are not subject to its enforcement.  The third feast (Tabernacles) parallels this understanding.  It promotes unity among the brethren.  Men have progressed passed the conditional aspects of phileo love.  “Self” has finally died and is no longer a motivating force.  Does this do away with the Law?  No.  The Law arises out of Our Heavenly Father’s Divine Intent to create order.  By necessity, the Law is kept in place for those who are operating in the selfish and conditional states.

The Age of Pentecost has been a time where all three states would operate simultaneously.  You might be selfish one day, conditionally love the next, and finally act in a selfless Love.  The problem is inconsistency.  As we mature, we shed the selfishness.  Those acts and thoughts occur less often.  As we take on Our Heavenly Father’s nature, we will begin to see those around us in the various states of intent.  We will require enforcement of “the law” only to help them grow in their own understanding of the three types of intent, not to gain personal satisfaction of being an enforcer.  Our Heavenly Father did not do away with the Law when HE sent HIS Son.  Jesus revealed the intent behind The Law.  The Law is still in place and will continue to be enforced until the intent of all men is Love.  Until then, expect judgment to occur, for corrective purposes only… For GOD so LOVED!

Maturing in Love

January 6th, 2014

Yesterday, we considered the Lampstand in the Holy Place.  It provides light and revelation to the one who seeks to enter into the Holy of Holies.  It is also a reference to agape Love.  The seven candles and twenty-two almond blossoms denote the mathematical relationship of pi ( π 22/7), a never ending number.  The number π is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter and is approximately equal to 3.14159. π happens to be the 16th letter of the Greek alphabet.  16 is also the number of Love.

Love cannot be defined and nor does it have a beginning or end.  We can better appreciate the need for light and revelation in order to completely mature in the fullness of Love.  This maturing in Love is reflected in the feasts of Israel:

Passover:   immature Love directed towards “self”

Pentecost:  Phileo Love, conditional and legalistic

Tabernacles:  Agape Love, unconditional and mature

The Feast of Tabernacles (or Booths) is broken up into 7 days + 1 day.  One could equate the seven days with the seven pillars of wisdom, somewhat like a path to Spiritual maturity.  A booth, a temporary dwelling place, was to be constructed as a reminder to us that each phase of our path to maturity is a temporary dwelling place and not forsake the path we are on by ceasing to mature and creating a permanent structure.

Proverbs 9:1

Wisdom has built her house,
She has hewn out her seven pillars;

Proverbs 8 lists these seven pillars:

12  “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
And find out knowledge and discretion.

13  The fear of the LORD is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverse mouth I hate.

14  Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom;
I am understanding, I have strength.

We continue to live in a “booth” as our house is built with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.  Our goal is to mature to that eighth day referenced in the Feast of Tabernacles:

Leviticus 23:

33 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the LORD. 35 On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it. 36 For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.

An offering made by fire refers to our “flesh” being burned up, removing the sin nature.  The number 8 represents new beginnings.  Once our house is built with the seven pillars, it is filled with HIS riches and HIS glory:

Proverbs 24:

3  Through wisdom a house is built,
And by understanding it is established;

4  By knowledge the rooms are filled
With all precious and pleasant riches.

As we reach the full maturity of Love, its Baptism and Revelation, we will have a treasury to draw from in order that we can fully serve mankind.  Our online Bible studies, our books, and these writing are designed to move us toward that eighth day of full maturity to become HIS full expression of Love on earth.  HIS Kingdom come, HIS Will be done.

Lack of Understanding

January 5th, 2014

The term “darkness” is used often in Scripture.  One application of darkness is ignorance, or lack of understanding.  Ignorance is defined as lack of knowledge or information.  The term “stupid” means lacking intelligence or common sense.  With most people, the issue is not intelligence, they simply lack understanding.  Sometimes intelligence is a hindrance to further understanding.  The ego would convince you that you already know everything needed about a particular subject.  Young adults are often noted for their attitude of knowing everything and not needing any counsel from their parents.  In their case, they lack wisdom.

In the Holy Place is the lampstand.  It provides light or revelation, that is to say… understanding.  The lampstand, also known as the menorah, included seven candles.  Seven represents Spiritual Perfection.  As we have focused in our online Bible study of Raising the Remnant, we all need wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.  Once you have gained the wisdom to seek understanding, you become enlightened.  Effectively, you have entered into the Holy Place en route to the Holy of Holies.  Revelation lights the way to the curtain or veil that separates you from HIS Glory.  You must go through the process of maturity to enter in to the Holy of Holies.  Jesus rent the veil that each of us might enter in but we cannot do so unlawfully.  Just as the Garden and Tree of Life is protected by the Angel with a flaming sword, our flesh is restricted from entering into the manifested Presence of Our Heavenly Father.  Had Adam run to the flaming sword and “died” to the flesh, he would not have been restricted from the Tree of Life.

The masses will not enter into the Holy Place today.  They would prefer to stay in the outer darkness of ignorance where there is gnashing of teeth.  Isn’t it interesting how powerful the ego is that it can convince you to stay in darkness and suffer!  You are just one decision away from moving toward the Light.  As you do move toward the Light, you move toward Spiritual Perfection.  Your level of understanding ascends toward Heaven and you begin to understand the term “Arise and shine”.

The word “darkness” comes from the word meaning “hidden”.  Why hide revelation from the masses?  The lawlessness of men would use revelation to exploit others rather than serve mankind.  This is why it is critical to gain the revelation of Love.  Once you truly walk in Love, revelation is opened up to you in order that you might proceed to the Holy of Holies and behold HIS Glory.

The lampstand had 22 almond blossoms in its presentation.  The word “almond” in derived from a Hebrew word meaning: to wake, watch, awake, be alert.  The number “22” refers to light and revelation and there are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet.  Hence, the Word of GOD is the light and revelation we need to become fully mature.  When you divide 22 by 7, the result is the value of “Pi”, a never-ending number.  Pi is another representation of Love.  As you can see, the revelation in Scripture is designed to bring you into the fullness of Love.  You can decide to continue in darkness or move toward the light.  As you move toward the light, you see mankind in a different light.  Instead of exploiting others for self gain, you begin to look at ways to serve.  The light of the lampstand is to bring you to the revelation of Love and the revelation of Love is to bring you into HIS Presence!
