Why were you and I created?

As we pursue GOD’S ways, we become fully aware why we were created.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 43:

1 Now, this is what YAHWEH says: “Listen, Jacob, to the One who created you, Israel, to the one who shaped who you are. Do not fear, for I, your Kinsman-Redeemer, will rescue you. I have called (summoned) you by name, and you are mine.

2 When you pass through the deep, stormy sea, you can count on Me to be there with you. When you pass through raging rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you,

3 for I am your Savior, YAHWEH, Your Mighty God, the Holy One of Israel! I give up Egypt as the price to set you free, Cush and Seba in exchange to bring you back.

4 Since you are cherished and precious in My Eyes, and because I Love you dearly and want to honor you, I willingly give up nations in exchange for you—a man to save your life.

5 I am with you now, even close to you, so never yield to fear. I will bring your children from the east; from the west I will gather you.

6 I will say to the north, ‘Hand them over!’ and to the south, ‘Don’t hold them back!’ Bring Me My sons from far away, My daughters from the ends of the earth!

7 Bring Me everyone who is called by My Name, the ones I created to experience My glory. I Myself formed them to be who they are and made them for My glory.”

This declaration includes you and me.  FATHER intends for us to see and experience HIS Glory not only in Heaven, but here on earth.  We are commanded to pray “Thy Kingdom come; Thy Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven.”

Is there any lack, sickness or disease in Heaven?  Absolutely not!  HE intends for us to bring Heaven to earth.  HE empowers us to fulfill that command.  We must eliminate unbelief by immersing ourselves in HIS Word and disregard the world’s attempts to dissuade us from this Truth.  If you are immersed in social media and other worldly input, you restrict yourself from spiritual maturity.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who Love Him, who have been called according to HIS purpose.

29 For those God foreknew HE also predestined to be conformed to the Image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

30 And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.

You and I have been called and justified so that we may also be glorified with and through Jesus Christ.  Are you willing to fully accept this Truth?  Can it be expressed any simpler? 

The Beloved Disciple recorded what he heard and saw by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 4:

8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “ ‘Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ Who was, and is, and is to come.”

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever,

10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him Who sits on the Throne and worship Him Who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the Throne and say:

11 “You are worthy, Our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your Will they were created and have their being.”

FATHER’S proper Name is LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  However, we are given the privilege to call HIM “FATHER”.  When you pray, don’t call HIM “GOD”, but call HIM by HIS proper NAME or “FATHER”, you choose.

We are created and predestined to be HIS Sons and Daughters and to walk in HIS Glory here on earth.  Let’s not miss it! You and I are called to be world-changers.

We must focus on the Internal and not let the external situations move us!

In some external situations we are to stay.  In other external situations we are to leave.  We must allow The Holy Spirit to determine whether we stay or go.  Human reasoning cannot accurately make such a decision.  It will focus on the current circumstances rather than FATHER’S Divine Intent.  Our circumstances may be inconvenient or uncomfortable or, I don’t feel good about the situation, resulting in the assumption that I should depart.  You will only know what to do by your sensitivity to THE SPIRIT of GOD Who lives in you.  What is He saying?  It is our only safeguard.

An external is a sign to get us to seek what GOD is actually saying through this unusual situation.  It all boils down to what is going on inside us: the peace that I live with, the fellowship with The Holy Spirit, my sensitivity to His conviction, my fight to maintain clear conscience, my willingness to come to The Scripture where the sword of THE LORD cuts deeply.  That place of deep affection for THE LORD will prevail and direct my steps when the opposition comes.

Jesus provides us with the perfect example of when to stay and when to go.

The Beloved Disciple recorded by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 11:

1 In the village of Bethany there was a man named Lazarus, and his sisters, Mary and Martha. Mary was the one who would anoint Jesus’ feet with costly perfume and dry his feet with her long hair. One day Lazarus became very sick to the point of death.

3 So his sisters sent a message to Jesus, “Lord, our brother Lazarus, the one you Love, is very sick. Please come!”

4 When he heard this, he said, “This sickness will not end in death for Lazarus, but will bring glory and praise to God. This will reveal the greatness of the Son of God by what takes place.”

5-6 Now even though Jesus loved Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, He remained where He was for two more days.

7 Finally, on the third day, He said to his disciples, “Come. It’s time to go to Bethany.”

8 “But Teacher,” they said to Him, “do You really want to go back there? It was just a short time ago the people of Judea were going to stone You!”

The Holy Spirit directed Jesus to tarry for two days even though the external circumstance demanded His immediate departure.

9-10 Jesus replied, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight in every day? You can go through a day without the fear of stumbling when you walk in the One Who gives light to the world. But you will stumble when the light is not in you, for you’ll be walking in the dark.”

When the Light, that is The Holy Spirit, is in you, you will not stumble.

11 Then Jesus added, “Lazarus, our friend, has just fallen asleep. It’s time that I go and awaken him.”

On the third day, The Holy Spirit directed Jesus to go to Bethany. 

12 When they heard this, the disciples replied, “Lord, if he has just fallen asleep, then he’ll get better.”

13 Jesus was speaking about Lazarus’ death, but the disciples presumed he was talking about natural sleep.

14 Then Jesus made it plain to them, “Lazarus is dead.

15 And for your sake, I’m glad I wasn’t there, because now you have another opportunity to see Who I am so that you will learn to Trust in me. Come, let’s go and see him.”

Thomas could only see the external:

16 So Thomas, nicknamed the Twin, remarked to the other disciples, “Let’s go so that we can die with him.”

The Holy Spirit will direct us in His timing.  He knows if there is opposition who would want to snare us and do us harm.  He knows who needs to be on hand to see the miracle manifest.  Timing is everything!

External situations do not allow us to discern what GOD is actually saying or doing!

For us to determine what to do and where to go, we must rely on hearing The Holy Spirit.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Jeremiah chapter 29:

4 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, to all who were carried away captive, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem to Babylon:

5 Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit.

6 Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters-that you may be increased there, and not diminished.

7 And seek the peace (šālôm) of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.

The Hebrew word šālôm means: completeness, soundness, welfare, peace; completeness (in number); safety, soundness (in body);  welfare, health, prosperity;

peace, quiet, tranquility, contentment; peace, friendship of human relationships,

with God especially in covenant relationship; peace (from war)

You and I are to bring šālôm to wherever we reside, even if we are in captivity.

8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.

9 For they prophesy falsely to you in My Name; I have not sent them, says the LORD.

THE LORD warned them not to be deceived by false prophets and diviners. HE cautioned them be relying on dreams to confirm what their souls might be yearning for, given their situation.

10 For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good Word toward you, and cause you to return to this place.

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

There was an appointed time for them to be in Babylon, While there, they were to bless the inhabitants of Babylon rather than promote isolation and separation from the inhabitants of the land.  No matter where we go, we are to be a blessing.  The Holy Spirit will direct us whether to stay or leave but we must be sensitive to hear His Voice in all situations.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 14:

1 Now it happened in Iconium that Paul and Barnabas went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed.

2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren.

3 Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, Who was bearing witness to the Word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

Despite the opposition, Paul and Barnabas were led to stay and preach boldly the Word of HIS grace.  The Word was confirmed by signs and wonders done by their hands.  However:

4 But the multitude of the city was divided: part sided with the Jews, and part with the apostles.

 5 And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to abuse and stone them,

6 they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region.

The Holy Spirit directed them to depart to another region.

7 And they were preaching the Gospel there.

8 And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked.

9 This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed,

10 said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.

The Holy Spirit will tell you when to stay or leave depending on His Will.  In addition, miracles will follow you and confirm the Gospel to those who have ears to hear.

Be fruitful wherever The Holy Spirit leads you and don’t pay attention to the external circumstance as being your guide.

While we are waiting for our breakthrough, let us be productive and be found trustworthy by being led by The Holy Spirit!

Our call to live a life of miracles is not for recognition or fame, but for the purpose of continuing Jesus’ ministry on earth to restore, heal, free, and connect people with their Divine purpose and identity in Christ. There are people all around us that are hurting and waiting for someone to stand with them in faith to see them set free.

Jesus commanded you and me to do greater works than He did during His earthly ministry.  How many believers do you know who have been successful in fulfilling that command?  I know of none yet.  However, that does not stop me in the pursuit of fulfilling His command.  It should not stop you either.  A breakthrough is coming for those who will not be denied.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Jeremiah chapter 29:

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

It is easy to tell how well we are doing by considering our response to our external circumstances.  We should pay attention to what GOD is actually targeting in how we handle life internally: what we think about, what we ponder, what our words declare, our motivations of heart, our corresponding actions.  These make up our well-being as we deal with the external circumstances.

We are intended to learn to live from the inside out rather than be constantly reactive to external circumstances.

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 8:

23 They all got into a boat and began to cross over to the other side of the lake. And Jesus, exhausted, fell asleep.

24 Suddenly a violent storm developed, with waves so high the boat was about to be swamped. Yet Jesus continued to sleep soundly.

25 The disciples woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We’re going to die!”

26 But Jesus reprimanded them. “Why are you gripped with fear? Where is your faith?” Then He stood and rebuked the storm, saying, “Be still!” And instantly it became perfectly calm.

27 The disciples were astonished by this miracle and said to one another, “Who is this Man? Even the wind and waves obey His Word.”

Jesus was not moved by the external circumstances they faced.  The disciples were gripped with fear, Jesus was not.  The Savior of the world was with them yet they thought they would perish.  When Jesus rebuked the waves, it tells us that there was a spiritual force behind it, then He declares peace and the storm ceased.

Jesus is sleeping peacefully because the world He dwells in has no storms.  He was able to release into the natural, external environment what He was already experiencing on the inside.  It was always intended that our personal victories and our walk with THE LORD would help us reshape, redefine, to influence the nature of the world we live in.  Our internal victories are supposed to be measured outwardly by our fruit.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2^nd Peter chapter 2:

6 And don’t forget that GOD reduced to ashes the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, condemning them to ruin and destruction. God appointed them to be examples as to what is coming to the ungodly.

7 Yet HE rescued a righteous man, Lot, suffering the indignity of the unbridled lusts of the lawless.

8 For righteous Lot lived among them day after day, distressed in his righteous soul by the rebellious deeds he saw and heard.

Abraham was righteous AND Lot was also righteous.  Abraham affected his surroundings, but Lot was affected by his surroundings.  We choose what surroundings we want to live in.  Because of what Lot saw and heard, it had an impact on what was going on in his internal world.  He needed to be rescued.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 17:

20 Jesus was once asked by the Jewish religious leaders, “When will God’s Kingdom come?” Jesus responded, “God’s Kingdom does not come simply by obeying principles or waiting for signs.

21 The Kingdom is not discovered in one place or another, for God’s Kingdom realm is already expanding within some of you.”

We are to develop internally in order to change the external.  We must guard our eyes and ears so that the external world does not affect our internal expansion of the Kingdom of GOD within us.  Our breakthrough comes when the Kingdom of GOD has become dominant internally and is not moved by external circumstances.

You and I are to function in two realms of ministry: the covert (Wisdom) and the overt (power)!

Wisdom instructs us when, where, how, why, and what to do or say.  Power provides the testimony of GOD in the situation.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1^st Corinthians chapter 1:

24 But for those who have been chosen to follow Jesus Christ, both Jews and Greeks, He is God’s mighty power, God’s True Wisdom, and our Messiah.

25 For the “foolish” things of God have proven to be wiser than human wisdom. And the “feeble” things of God have proven to be far more powerful than any human ability.

When we are led by The Holy Spirit Who is Wisdom, we will never be early, nor will we be late.  We will understand how to deal with a matter in the most appropriate fashion.  We will do GOD’S Will according to the circumstances at hand.  This is why it is critical for us to seek out GOD’S Wisdom constantly in our daily lives.

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 26:

62 And the high priest arose and said to Jesus, “Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?”

63 But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”

64 Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

65 Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy! 66 What do you think?” They answered and said, “He is deserving of death.”

67 Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands,

68 saying, “Prophesy to us, Christ! Who is the one who struck You?”

Jesus did not defend Himself because He understood the necessity of going to the cross.  Jesus did not take the bait of the high priest.  Instead, He assured the path to the cross, the resurrection, and to be seated at the Right Hand of GOD, The Almighty.

We too must be vigilant to remain silent even though our mind wants us to speak up about some injustice.  The Holy Spirit will navigate us through the situation, and will move us to speak at the right time.

Power brings forth the breakthrough in any situation.  Wisdom taps into the way of life that GOD intended for us in order to sustain the breakthrough.  And It positions us to truly learn how to reign in life.

Financial wealth doesn’t run my life, I manage it.  Relationships don’t govern me, I govern them.  Wisdom gives us access to a lifestyle that testifies of HIS Nature.  It doesn’t just testify, It invites those around us to embrace It as well.

It is the bold preaching of The Gospel that attracts the Miracle Hand of GOD to be released in any given environment.  We want to have both power and Wisdom to minister to people and bring forth the Kingdom of GOD in their lives.  The Gospel in Its boldness, will bring forth repentance from dead works in people’s lives.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 12 concerning unbelief:

38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.”

39 But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

41 The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.

42 The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the Wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.

A reluctant Jonah ended up preaching a bold message and the entire city repented.  The men of Nineveh repented and will rise up in judgment to condemn the unbelief of the current generation.  Once the Queen of the South heard GODLY Wisdom, she too will rise up in judgment of the unbelief that prevails in today’s environment.  It is time to repent of unbelief in supernatural miracles and the Wisdom from Above.

Wherever the Fear of GOD rules in the heart, it will appear both in works of charity and piety, and neither will excuse us from the other.

If we want to live a life of miracles, we need to walk in the Fear of THE LORD!

Miracles are intended to confirm The Gospel to others and Jesus is the Perfect Example for us to follow.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 21:

24 I, John, am that disciple who has written these things to testify of the Truth, and we know that what I’ve documented is accurate.

25 Jesus did countless things that I haven’t included here. And if every one of His works were written down and described one by one, I suppose that the world itself wouldn’t have enough room to contain the books that would have to be written!

Jesus is the full and complete representation of bringing the Kingdom of GOD to the earth.  He was fully led by The Holy Spirit in His 3 ½ year ministry and if we want to be mature Sons and Daughters of GOD, we should follow His example in all areas.  Also, we should pay close attention to all of His Words recorded in Scripture.

Jesus prayed for all believers in John chapter 17:

20 “And I ask not only for these disciples, but also for all those who will one day believe in Me through their message.

21 I pray for them all to be joined together as one even as You and I, Father, are joined together as One. I pray for them to become One with Us so that the world will recognize that You sent Me.

22 For the very glory You have given to Me I have given them so that they will be joined together as one and experience the same unity that We enjoy.

23 You live fully in Me and now I live fully in them so that they will experience Perfect Unity, and the world will be convinced that You have sent Me, for they will see that you Love each one of them with the same passionate Love that You have for Me.

24 “Father, I ask that You allow everyone that You have given to Me to be with Me where I am! Then they will see My full glory—the very splendor You have placed upon Me because You have Loved Me even before the beginning of time. 25 “You are My Righteous Father, but the unbelieving world has never known You in the perfect way that I know you! And all those who believe in Me also know that You have sent Me!

26 I have revealed to them Who You are and I will continue to make You even more real to them, so that they may experience the same endless Love that You have for Me, for Your Love will now live in them, even as I live in them!”

Would Jesus pray to Our Heavenly Father without the expectation of His prayer being fully answered?  Absolutely not!  Jesus only spoke the Words given to Him by FATHER thus we see FATHER’S Divine Intent for us as believers.

We are meant to walk in fully unity with Our Heavenly Father and this is accomplished as we fully walk in Agape Love for mankind.  Jesus has summoned us to not only walk as He walked but to surpass His greater works.

What are we lacking?  Have we fully surrendered ourselves to The Holy Spirit?  Jesus did.  Have we walked in Agape Love for those in need as well as our enemies?

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 111:

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

Walking in the fear of THE LORD is critical to our individual ministries.  Isaiah provides a full description of the seven attributes of THE SPIRIT Jesus walked in.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 11:

1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His Eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His Ears;

4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His Mouth, And with the breath of His Lips He shall slay the wicked.

5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His Loins, And faithfulness the belt of His Waist.

What is His delight?  It is the fear of THE LORD!  How many believers are truly walking in the fear of THE LORD?  How many ministries are teaching/preaching the fear of THE LORD?
