Seals to be set

Sphragizō is the Greek word meaning:

to set a seal upon, mark with a seal, to seal

  1. for security: from Satan

  2. since things sealed up are concealed (as the contents of a letter), to hide, keep in silence, keep secret

  3. in order to mark a person or a thing

    1. to set a mark upon by the impress of a seal or a stamp

    2. angels are said to be sealed by God

  4. in order to prove, confirm, or attest a thing

    1. to confirm authenticate, place beyond doubt

      1. of a written document

      2. to prove one’s testimony to a person that he is what he professes to be

In Revelations 7, The angels were instructed to seal the 144,000 saints:

2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed…

Have you satisfied the requirements to be sealed?  Do you know the requirements to be sealed?  144,000 saints are not that many, considering the current population of 6.5 billion inhabitants of the earth.  Many are called but few are chosen.  This would indicate that the revelation required to be sealed by the angels is not that well known or practiced among Christians today.  After all, at least 1/3 of the entire population profess to be Christian, about 2.18 billion.

Those who will be sealed have no resistance to HIS Word or HIS Calling upon their lives.  Their passion is for the Kingdom of GOD, not the trappings of this world.  They are more interested in serving than being served.  Later in this chapter, there is a great multitude before the Throne.  What are they doing?  Serving:

15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple.

Everyone is serving someone  or some thing.  You may be serving your ego, aka “false self”, or you may be serving Our Heavenly Father.  But no one is outside of this classification.  To be sealed, your “testimony” of what and who you profess to be must be confirmed.  If an angel arrived on your doorstep today, what proof would there be?  Now is the time to establish proof of your testimony by acts of Love to others.  It is time to be a blessing, be a doer of the Word, not a hearer only.  Set aside your own needs for a bit and minister life and Love to someone else for a change.  Let that ego die.

Comprehending the Love

In Ephesians 3, Paul was led by the Holy Spirit to pray for us.  His prayer was predicated on us being “rooted and grounded in Love”.  As we focus on being fully immersed in the revelation or baptism of Love, we will be able to comprehend the Love of Christ and will be filled with ALL the FULLNESS of GOD.  It will be abundant and exceedingly above our intellectual ability.  However, it is according to the power that works in us.  This power is based on being rooted and grounded in Love.  Receive this prayer into your life today:

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Father, I receive this prayer in its fullness for my life this very day!  Amen!

The Insolvency of Japan

The globe is financially interconnected, so what happens in other major countries affects you and me.  Many of our cars in the garage are produced in Japan and some of the parts to keep them operational come from their homeland.  Japan has the worst demographics of aging population of all the major countries.  There are not enough young people coming into the workforce to support the elderly.  People are living longer and their are more adult diapers sold in Japan than infant diapers.  Japan’s bond market is getting worse by the day.  Europe and the U.S. are not far behind.

Interest expenses of Japan’s debt (Japanese Government Bonds- JGBs)  as a percentage of total government revenue will reach 56% this year.  What if you personally had to pay over half of your paycheck to the bank for interest?  That is where Japan is at now.  How are they managing that feat?  By printing more money, backed by nothing but perception.  We are moving in the same direction.  Japan is leading the way to show the other nations what will happen shortly.  Japan’s Central Bank is focused on creating mild inflation in a contracting economy.  This will ultimately result in default of sovereign debt.  The bondholders are often large pension funds holding individuals’ future cash payments in their care.  In the end, the average person will be affected.  This should provide you a better understanding why Russia and China are acquiring gold reserves to back their currency as they prepare to depart from the U.S. Dollar reserve currency standard.  At some point, a monetary crisis will occur.  Only Our Heavenly Father knows the day and the hour:

Revelations 18:1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

These verses describe the coming global events as well as any time in history.  Our Heavenly Father is keeping the masses in a blinded state so the current system will continue while HIS Remnant is being prepared.  Until the firstfruits are ready for inspection and ready to illuminate the earth with HIS glory, the current system will be allowed to operate.  The fruit are ripening now.  We discussed this in our Bible study yesterday.  Due to Internet transmission problems, the Bible study had “live” issues but the “two-part” recordings appeared to be captured without issue and can be watched at:

Actively in Unity

Ephesians 4

:2  with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

:3  endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

The Apostle Paul was an active disciple.  He did not sit around isolated from the rest of the Body of Christ in a passive manner but instead, he traveled, suffered much, ministered face-to-face, and fellowshipped with the brethren.  Does Our Heavenly Father expect anything less from us?  As maturing saints, we are called to get out of our comfort zone.  Those who are older are to show the younger effective ways of ministering.

The word “endeavoring” is an active verb meaning: try hard to do or achieve something.  We need to be active.  How many people in Scripture who were called of Our Heavenly Father did absolutely nothing?  Jesus was called to gather the sheep, minister life, and save the world.  The disciples were called to spread the Gospel.  Yes, there is the fivefold ministry, but there is also the ministry of “helps”.  You don’t have to be an experienced orator to serve Our Heavenly Father.  HE will utilize the talents HE placed in you for HIS good pleasure.  Each task you take on should include a focus on unity and peace.  We should actively bear one another in Love.  Are you creating division?  Stop!  Are you exalting yourself above others?  Quit!

As we each seek to walk according to the Spirit, we will move toward greater unity.  One reason the entire globe has not seen the Kingdom of GOD is that Christians have been unwilling to walk in unity with each other.  If those who Love Our Heavenly Father would Love each other as well and as much, we would become a unified force on this earth.  If the “members” of unity153.net were to actively support each other, there would be no lack among us.  We are all going to spend our money on goods and services from somebody.  Why not bless our brothers and sisters?  It is because there has been a lack of unity and a lack of trust.  Love does not wait for the other person to be spotless before proceeding to unity.  When will the world see us as a unified body?  Part of the answer is your decision and resulting action.

Double Witness

I typically write and post blogs before 8 AM Central Time.  Our Heavenly Father wakes me up each day at HIS appointed time… sometimes very early, and I focus on what HE wants me to write, if anything.  I’m good with that.  I serve at HIS pleasure, not mine.  Yesterday’s blog was one of correction, not by my choice but by HIS intent.  I try to read Stephen Jones’ teaching blogs sometime in the afternoon.  I find it interesting that his blog posted on the same day as mine, dealt with those who are disqualified from being disciples because of their other priorities.  It would appear that Our Heavenly Father is sending a “double-witnessed” wakeup call to those who have previously heard the call and have possibly waned.

“Many are called, but few are chosen.”

Let me encourage you to reflect on your priorities to see if you might need to make some adjustments.  Your recent fruitfulness is a great place to start.  Where and how are you spending your time and your discretionary money?  Those are probably the best reflection of your priorities.  Are you a giver or a taker?  Do you have an attitude of entitlement or an attitude of gratitude?  Is you conversation focused on your needs or the other persons needs?  Are you guided by self-preservation?

“Let the dead bury their own.”  “Don’t look back.”   Now is the time.

People .. you are being asked to step up to the plate … the game is on and you are in this game.  Many may be willing to simply watch from the comfort of their easy chair.  That is not point of this conference.  In years past, one individual has done the heavy lifting by pulling a conference together and the people have come.  This year multiple individuals are being called to take a leadership role.  Every person that has ever attended a conference is a leader on some level and is capable of hosting an event in their area.  We are trusting you are listening to Father’s voice and if He is leading you to host a regional site, we’re looking forward to hearing from you as per the directions below.  You know that the blessing of fellowshipping with those in your area will much more than out weigh your effort.

Thom Mills will be hosting at his property location located near Newmarket, ON.  Exact location to be provide to those interested directly via email.  The location is about 1 hour North of Toronto, 3 hours North of Buffalo, 4 hours East of Detroit.  We Canadian’s are fairly welcoming to those Americans that would like to join us.

Hotels are available in the area, but there is availability at the property for those that would like to stay in available rooms, camp, bring an RV, etc.  Contact Thom at thom@randomize.com to let him know you’ll be coming and facility information, directions, etc. will be provided.

Regional Site Location Requirements

Interested in becoming a Regional Site Host?  Here is what you need to know at this point.

You will need:

  • A large LCD flat screen or a video projector – depending on how many people you expect to be viewing.
  • A computer, Mac or Windows, connected to your LCD flat screen or projector.  The video is broadcasted over uStream.tv.
  • Some set top boxes and smart TVs have a uStream app for viewing without a computer.  Apps are available for Roku, Boxee, AppleTV, Panasonic Viera and Samsung Smart TV.  Test these apps by checking out the Unity153 show or any other uStream show to ensure that this feature works properly.  More info on viewing options can be found here.
  • In most home applications, a larger LCD Flat screen will likely be sufficient.  In a large home, hotel conference room or similar space, a video projector is likely more appropriate.
  • For audiences over 8-10 people, you are likely going to need audio amplification as most flat screen speakers simply are not normally loud enough or of sufficient sound quality.  People often add a Sound Bar amplifier to their flat screen; that will likely be sufficient.  The speakers on all video projectors are completely insufficient.  If you are using a video projector, you will need an external sound ampler, especially in an hotel conference room or similar venue.
  • A reliable high speed internet connection.  While the faster the better, a 1 Mbit connection should be sufficient for viewing.  If you are able to watch the Unity153 show with out any video interruptions, you are good.  While locations offer wireless WIFI service, a wired connection is always faster and more reliable.  If you believe there may be a need or desire to contribute to the conference via broadcasting, you will need to contact Ken Reilly at life888@valornet.com
  • Be aware that if you are considering booking a hotel conference room or other commercial space, that location will likely have equipment available … at a price.  They may require you to use only there equipment if using their room.  You may also want a microphone with the sound system depending on the size of the group.  Confirm this all as well as their internet connectivity and the prices for such when negotiating for the space.
  • In terms of connecting this all up, there are simply too many combinations and variations to detail here.  Please work out these details with a local resource.  If you simply can not get any help to pull these details together, contact Thom Mills at thom@randomize.com.
  • As uStream features an interactive text feedback mode via Facebook, any one in the audience may wish to use their iPad, iPhone, laptop or other similar device to interact.  They will want a WIFI connection to be able to do this. 

As a Regional Site Host, we will be asking you to:

  • determine the location at which to host
  • determine costs related to the venue.  These costs will need to be covered by yourself and / or other that will be gathering with you.
  • be prepared to serve communion at the beginning of the each day.  Some grape juice and red wine available and appropriate glasses should be provided by you.
  • organise food requirements – that can be as simple as giving everybody a list of the restaurants in the area, organizing potluck or what ever else works for you and your group – regardless of meals, water and light snacks should be available at a minimum.  Keep in mind that much of the point of the regional gatherings is for fellowship and connecting and meal times are one of the best times to accomplish this.  We would encourage you to make meals a group experience in some manner.
  • contact those that have expressed an interest in joining you at your location from the unity153.net site.  Contact information will be forwarded to you.  Be prepared to provide those that are interested in coming your contact info, location address, hotels or other accommodation info.

Your Resistance to the Gospel

What is your level of resistance to the Gospel?  Evidently, it is time for some correction to occur.  I would love for each writing to be uplifting and on a positive note, but there must be some who needs a “corrective” interview with Our Heavenly Father.  Have you become complacent in your walk?  Are you resisting the next level of maturity?  Are you really willing to “die to the flesh” or are those just idle words?

Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 3:

1 Therefore when we could endure it no longer, we thought it best to be left behind at Athens alone,

2 and we sent Timothy, our brother and God’s fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you as to your faith,

3 so that no one would be disturbed by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we have been destined for this.

4 For indeed when we were with you, we kept telling you in advance that we were going to suffer affliction; and so it came to pass, as you know.

5 For this reason, when I could endure it no longer, I also sent to find out about your faith, for fear that the tempter might have tempted you, and our labor would be in vain.  (NASB)

None of us are called to live an isolated existence from the rest of the Body of Christ.  Do you think an ear can survive long without the rest of the body?  Are you finding ways to fellowship with others or are you using the excuse of being “separated” for a special, lonely work?  It was rare that Jesus was alone during His ministry, why do you think you shouldn’t minister and serve others in the Body?

We are called to spread the Gospel, the good news.  It can’t be done by sitting on the couch, watching TV 24/7.  If you are truly sensitive to the Holy Spirit, HE will bring people along your path to minister life.  Is your pride preventing you from ministering to others?

2:18  For we wanted to come to you—I, Paul, more than once—and yet Satan hindered us.  (NASB)

Paul identified the source preventing him from going to Thessalonica- Satan.  The source of resistance to the gospel is the adversary.  He will use your pride and/or lust to prevent you from being a lively stone, a part of the ministry of Christ toward others.  In a subtle fashion, he will move you into a state of resistance.  One day you will wake up and finally make an assessment of your fruit… it will be found lacking.  I urge you to repent and get back on track.  Reestablish your focus on Christ.  Reassess your priorities and get rid of those weights that so easily beset you.  You are to resist the devil, not the Gospel.  Don’t be a “foolish” virgin.  Think about it!
