Accountability

May 15th, 2020

Accountability is coming and our focus must be turned from inward to outward.  We must quit focusing on what the world is doing and turn to the priorities of Our Heavenly Father.  Jesus provided the example we are meant to follow when He was asked about the “prophetic”.

In Acts chapter 1, Jesus instructed the disciples:

1 To Theophilus, the lover of GOD.

I write to you again, my dear friend, to give you further details about the life of our Lord Jesus and all the things that He did and taught.

2 Just before He ascended into Heaven, He left instructions for the apostles He had chosen by the Holy Spirit. 3 After the sufferings of his cross, Jesus appeared alive many times to these same apostles over a forty-day period. Jesus proved to them with many convincing signs that He had been resurrected.

During these encounters, he taught them the truths of God’s kingdom realm 4 and shared meals with them.

Jesus instructed them, “Don’t leave Jerusalem, but wait here until you receive the gift I told you about, the gift the Father has promised. 5 For John baptized you in water, but in a few days from now you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit!”

6 Every time they were gathered together, they asked Jesus, “Lord, is it the time now for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?”

7 He answered, “The Father is the One who sets the fixed dates and the times of their fulfillment. You are not permitted to know the timing of all that HE has prepared by HIS own authority. 8 But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power. And you will be My messengers to Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces—even to the remotest places on earth!”

The disciples wanted to pursue the “prophetic” and Jesus directed them back to their mission- spread the Gospel.  Over the years, I spent much time focused on the “prophetic” at the expense of spreading the Gospel.  Men’s souls are tweaked when prophecy teachers paint a detailed picture of what is imminent in world events.

When their prophecies fail to occur, the prophecy teachers rationalize why their prophecies didn’t manifest, using also sorts of excuses.  For example, the fifteen year delay of Hezekiah’s death found in 2 Kings chapter 20 is applied to various dates prophesied by the teachers.  If The Holy Spirit gave them the dates of deliverance and/or destruction, why didn’t it manifest?  In the meantime, sinners continued their life without the salvation message which could have been given by those focused on their own agenda.  Over the last fifty years, I have heard a multitude of excuses why their prophecies did not come to pass but people still follow them.

Jesus effectively told the disciples “Focus on the current mandate of bringing The Kingdom to the earth and don’t worry about the future”.  We are to spread the Gospel in some form or fashion.  When we give to the poor, we spread the Gospel by our acts of Love.  When we express faith and hope, we spread the Gospel.  When we share the Good News, we are planting seed.

Can you or I affect the world events to coerce them into fitting into a prophecy so that we are exalted among the brethren?  We will all be accountable for the words we speak and the intent we project by our words and actions.  Repent and focus on spreading the Gospel for this will be pleasing to Our Lord Jesus whose instructions are still in effect.  Once the Gospel has been fully preached throughout the earth, then the end of the age will come.  Actually, spreading the Gospel is prophetic isn’t it!

We Cannot Fail

May 14th, 2020

This writing may be new to some but serves as a reminder to others.  One of the biggest issues Sons and Daughters deal with is the full assurance that their past has not been a waste of time causing guilt and regret.  Are you and I focused on “missed opportunities” of the past when we should forget them and focus on the here and now?  Am I focused too much on my age because the world says I am past my prime?  Who determines my “prime” and my ministry?

It is recorded by Moses, moved by The Holy Spirit of Glory, in Exodus chapter 7:

1 So the LORD said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. 2 You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall tell Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land. 3 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt. 4 But Pharaoh will not heed you, so that I may lay My hand on Egypt and bring My armies and My people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. 5 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.”

6 Then Moses and Aaron did so; just as the LORD commanded them, so they did. 7 And Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.

Was the first eighty years of Moses’ life a waste?  What about Aaron?  No, both were being prepared for their specific ministries even though Moses had been content with tending sheep:  (Exodus 3: 1) Moses was tending the flock of Jethro when FATHER appeared in the burning bush.

Now is the time to embrace our individual callings and jettison the past.  We need to allow The Holy Spirit to energize each of us and embrace the here and now.  Quit looking at the circumstances and look into the “Burning Bush”, be devoted!

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Peter chapter 1:

5 So devote yourselves to lavishly supplementing your faith with goodness,

and to goodness add understanding,

6 and to understanding add the strength of self-control,

and to self-control add patient endurance,

and to patient endurance add godliness,

7 and to godliness add mercy toward your brothers and sisters,

and to mercy toward others add unending love.

8 Since these virtues are already planted deep within, and you possess them in abundant supply, they will keep you from being inactive or fruitless in your pursuit of knowing Jesus Christ more intimately. 9 But if anyone lacks these things, he is blind, constantly closing his eyes to the mysteries of our faith, and forgetting his innocence—for his past sins have been washed away.

10 For this reason, beloved ones, be eager to confirm and validate that God has invited you to salvation and claimed you as his own. If you do these things, you will never stumble. 11 As a result, the Kingdom’s gates will open wide to you as GOD choreographs your triumphant entrance into the Eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Messiah.

This writing is exploding on the inside of me and let it do the same for you.  FATHER will not allow us to stumble for HE has provided and deposited everything we need to fulfill our callings.  Some of those virtues have been lying dormant and it is time to water them with The Word above and expect them to spring forth quickly with full assurance.  We will not stumble thus we cannot fail!

You need to reread this writing until your spirit leaps with joy unspeakable.

Disconnect

May 13th, 2020

We must remove the “disconnect” between the delivery of The Word and the productiveness of the Word in our lives.  The Word has power resident in It and if the Word is planted in good soil, It will produce good fruit.  The issue of barrenness is not the Word’s fault, the issue lies with the soil.

We must let go of past understanding that conflicts with The Word.  Religion keeps people enslaved to the doctrine contained and promoted by religion.  Martin Luther rose above religion’s enslavement when he posted ninety-five theses to the door of the church.  We need not rely on a man as our “mediator” with FATHER.  Jesus Christ is all we need for He alone is The Way.

I believe in financial prosperity so that I can be a blessing to others.  Jesus never spoke against financial prosperity but He intended prosperity to minister to the poor, not simply hoard it and stop the flow.  FATHER sent the Children of Israel out of Egypt with great wealth.  Does HE have a problem with prosperity now?  Has HE changed HIS Mind and Divine Intent?  How can I minister to impoverished kids if I am broke?

FATHER spoke to me earlier this week and told me: HIS Sons and Daughters must overcome the poverty mentality.  Additionally, we must quit being afraid of dying and start living.  We must realize that the devil is the victim, we are not.

Finances have been such a sensitive subject in the past.  Financial abuse among various ministries has provided many with justification to limit their giving.  When The Holy Spirit had Malachi record in chapter 3:

8 “Will a man rob GOD?

Yet you have robbed ME!

But you say,

‘In what way have we robbed YOU?’

In tithes and offerings.

FATHER’s Divine Intent was reaffirmed concerning giving.  If this Truth was not important to FATHER, this passage would have been omitted.  My wife and I personally look forward to giving, knowing we are planting good Seed.  Yes, we have given to various ministries and projects in the past which were tainted by misuse and wrong intent.  However, FATHER looked at our hearts and willingness to give, not any compromise on the part of the recipient.  HE blesses us based on our intent and desire to walk according to HIS stated expectations.  The disconnect in finances occurs when our self interest interferes with the revelation in The Word.

When we give with pure motives, our hearts are fertile ground for blessing.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 6:

1 “Examine your motives to make sure you’re not showing off when you do your good deeds, only to be admired by others; otherwise, you will lose the reward of your Heavenly Father. 2 So when you give to the poor, don’t announce it and make a show of it just to be seen by people, like the hypocrites in the streets and in the marketplace. They’ve already received their reward! 3 But when you demonstrate generosity, do it with pure motives and without drawing attention to yourself. 4 Give secretly and your Father, Who sees all you do, will reward you openly.”

Did Jesus tell us to refrain from giving?  Has FATHER ceased from rewarding us for our giving?  All that the impoverished kids (supported by Servias) and their parents know is that financial assistance is coming from an “anonymous benefactor”.  FATHER knows who is giving and HE rewards us openly.  I am expecting HIM to keep HIS Word and I trust you are too.

We must not allow any disconnect to occur in our walk, including finances.  Jesus did not disregard the poor and neither should we.  FATHER will repay each of us openly in whatever our individual needs require.  As we mature, our mindset will align with HIS.  There is no lack in Heaven and we are to bring Heaven to earth.  Let there be no disconnect between the Divine Intent of FATHER’S Word and our response.

Progressive Revelation

May 12th, 2020

Do not be misinformed.  We attain maturity by progressive revelation of FATHER’S Word and we ascend toward maturity step by step.  We do not belittle any facet of past revelation but we are to expect a greater understanding of Scripture as we study and ponder The Word as well as allowing The Holy Spirit to reveal additional facets of the Scripture hidden from those who are immature.  This is why you can read a passage multiple times and receive something new each time.

FATHER’S Word is constantly expanding as astronomers have observed in the heavens.  HIS Word will expand in our lives as well.  Jesus made this point in Matthew chapter 13 when He responded to the question from His disciples:

10 Then his disciples approached Jesus and asked, “Why do You always speak to people in these hard-to-understand parables?”

11 He explained, “You’ve been given the intimate experience of insight into the hidden truths and mysteries of the realm of Heaven’s Kingdom, but they have not. 12 For everyone who listens with an open heart will receive progressively more revelation until he has more than enough.  But those who don’t listen with an open, teachable heart, even the understanding that they think they have will be taken from them. 13 That’s why I teach the people using parables, because they think they’re looking for truth, yet because their hearts are unteachable, they never discover it. Although they will listen to Me, they never fully perceive the message I speak. 14 The prophecy of Isaiah describes them perfectly:

Although they listen carefully to everything I speak,

    they don’t understand a thing I say.

They look and pretend to see,

but the eyes of their hearts are closed.

15 Their minds are dull and slow to perceive,

their ears are plugged and are hard of hearing,

and they have deliberately shut their eyes to the Truth.

Otherwise they would open their eyes to see,

and open their ears to hear,

and open their minds to understand.

Then they would turn to ME

and let me instantly heal them.

If there is ever a time to heed these Words, it is now!  There are many who are pretending, dull, slow, hard of hearing, and have shut their eyes to Truth.  They mistakenly think they have everything figured out and see no need to change.  Jesus says “Listen carefully.”  You and I need to change by devoting ourselves to walk according to the progressive revelation found in FATHER’S Word and by constantly listening to The Holy Spirit.  We must respond to what The Holy Spirit is directing us to say and do without hesitation.  If we hesitate, it is a clear indication of our lack of maturity.

The reality is that if we are not producing fruit, we are denying some aspect of The Word in our lives.  This may seem harsh to some but correction often does.  I myself embrace correction from The Holy Spirit and simply repent.  I know any action or thought independent of The Word is an indefensible position.  Jesus is our Standard for Words and actions, no one else!  There are many ministers of the Gospel who have become unteachable.  Do you think an M.B.A. or PhD behind your name is a guarantee of revelation and fruitfulness?  Paul addresses this attitude in when he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 3:

7 Yet all of the accomplishments that I once took credit for, I’ve now forsaken them and I regard it all as nothing compared to the delight of experiencing Jesus Christ as my Lord! 8 To truly know Him meant letting go of everything from my past and throwing all my boasting on the garbage heap. It’s all like a pile of manure to me now, so that I may be enriched in the reality of knowing Jesus Christ and embrace Him as Lord in all of his greatness.

9 My passion is to be consumed with Him and not clinging to my own “righteousness” based in keeping the written Law. My “righteousness” will be His, based on the faithfulness of Jesus Christ—the very righteousness that comes from God. 10 And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus more fully and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with Him in his sufferings and I will be one with Him in his death. 11 Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with Him in his resurrection from the realm of death.

Knowing Jesus Christ and embracing Him as Lord was Paul’s priority as it is mine today.  I trust it is the same with you.  Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians chapter 2:

14 Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. 15 Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but GOD.

As we press toward the high mark daily, we will progressively attain more revelation.  This revelation will empower us with what has already been deposited in us.  Our hearts will be good ground so that the Seed will grow and produce good fruit for the Kingdom.

Manifesting Him Daily

May 11th, 2020

In John chapter 17, Jesus spoke the following:

1  This is what Jesus prayed as he looked up into heaven,

    “FATHER, the time has come.

Unveil the glorious splendor of YOUR Son

so that I will magnify YOUR glory!

2 YOU have already given me authority

over all people so that I may give

the gift of eternal life to all those that YOU have given to me.

3 Eternal life means to know and experience you

    as the only true God,

and to know and experience Jesus Christ,

as the Son whom YOU have sent.

4 I have glorified YOU on the earth

by faithfully doing everything YOU’VE told Me to do.

5 So My FATHER, restore Me back to the glory

that WE shared together when we were face-to-face

    before the universe was created.”

These few words contain critical revelation and understanding to being a mature Son or Daughter of Our Heavenly Father.  Jesus affirms the path to eternal life which is to know and experience Jesus Christ as THE SON whom FATHER sent.  There is no other way that can be called “The Way”.

The only way we can glorify FATHER is to faithfully do everything HE tells us to do.  We only do those things which we see in The Word and hear what The Holy Spirit is speaking to us.  Many believers are moved by their circumstances and compromise The Word as a result.  They become lukewarm and then their soulish reasoning overtakes whatever revelation they received.  The rest is history.  Their trust and faith in The Word becomes only a memory in the past.  We must remain fervent in our determination to attain full maturity!

Jesus openly states He was with FATHER before the universe was created.  In Genesis, Moses affirmed the presence and work of The Holy Spirit when the earth was formed.  ALL THREE were there when our individual books were written as revealed in Psalm 139:16.

The key to reaching the world is through the life, maturity, unity, and Love of His disciples which include you and me. This does not mean that Jesus doesn’t Love the world, but that the world will only be reached when you and I come into the fullness of Christ and in unity of the faith. This is what consumes the heart of Jesus as he prays for the disciples then and us now before the cross in John chapter 17 as He further revealed:

6 “FATHER, I have manifested who YOU really are

and I have revealed YOU to the men and women

    that YOU gave to Me.

They were YOURS, and YOU gave them to Me,

and they have fastened YOUR Word firmly to their hearts.

7 And now at last they know that everything I have is a gift from YOU,

8 And the very Words YOU gave to Me to speak

I have passed on to them.

    They have received YOUR Words

and carry them in their hearts.

They are convinced that I have come from YOUR Presence,

and they have fully believed that YOU sent Me to represent YOU.

Jesus spoke the Words of FATHER and we are to speak the Words of Jesus as well.  He walked in power and authority because He only spoke only what FATHER instructed thus FATHER confirmed every Word with signs and wonders.  We should expect the same as we walk and speak specifically in the same manner as Jesus.  Jesus did not instruct us to speak as the prophets or other men, we are only to follow His example.  There is such simplicity in this reality!  Who needs a soulish opinion when The Holy Spirit reveals Truth?

Jesus further prayed:

9 So with deep Love, I pray for my disciples.

I’m not asking on behalf of the unbelieving world,

but for those who belong to YOU,

    those YOU have given me.

10 For all who belong to Me now belong to YOU.

And all who belong to YOU now belong to Me as well,

and My glory is revealed through their surrendered lives.

It is time for you to fully surrender if you haven’t done so already.  I purpose daily to live a fully surrendered life which reflects my Love for Jesus Christ, My Lord and Savior.  As I walkout this surrendered life, the anointing of The Holy Spirit increases daily and reveals HIS glory.  There is such peace beyond understanding when we walk fully surrendered.  My life is no longer my own but submitted to FATHER.  I am no longer a victim of circumstances but instead the adversary is the victim.  When this occurs, his minions depart and look for weaker vessels to harass.  We must stop being afraid of dying and start living!  Furthermore, we must overcome the poverty mentality promoted by the adversary.  As Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 4:

12–13 I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.

Let us never forget the prayer of Jesus in John chapter 17 for in it are specific promises and expectations meant for us to live by and manifest in our daily walk.

Eyes of Understanding

May 10th, 2020

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

3–4 For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with Divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.   5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes GOD and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of GOD. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought [or scheme] and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. 6 Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish [ie “court martial”] any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience.

Paul is referring to demonic strongholds or centers of opposition to the light of the Gospel.  In verse 5, he mentions “citadels of argumentations,” which include fantasies.  A citadel is a fortress, typically on high ground, protecting or dominating a city.  Arrogant thoughts contrary to The Word attempt to fortify themselves with logic and emotion.  They often use intimidation, fear, uncertainty, and doubt to exalt themselves in our consciousness.

A scheme is a large-scale systematic plan or arrangement for attaining some particular object or putting a particular idea into effect.  The more clever the scheme, the more likely it will be successful.  The adversary and his demons use schemes, or systematic plans, to exalt themselves and move us from the path known as “The Way” of the Gospel.  They are often elaborate schemes that are so subtle that they are often invisible to man’s logical insight.  This is why we need to walk according to The Holy Spirit.

What may appear to be presented as our best interest can be a scheme to rob from us by those who are walking in darkness and submitted to demonic influence, knowing or unknowingly.  Familiar spirits are often behind these schemes.  Familiar spirits operate by manipulating people with subtle thoughts of logic, reasoning, and/or emotions that oppose the Gospel.

In Deuteronomy chapter 18, FATHER instructed the children of Israel:

9 “When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you. 13 You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. 14 For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not appointed such for you.”

There are nations who have been controlled by the powers of darkness so we must not allow ourselves to dismiss such demonic activity affecting us.  In these times of science and technology there is a tendency to disregard the spiritual operating and pulling the strings of those who are in temporary power.

The manipulative schemes of the adversary can only be uncovered by our enlightened eyes of understanding as we are led by and listen to The Holy Spirit.  My prayer for you and me:

FATHER,

I ask that YOU, the GOD of Our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Father of Glory, may give to us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, Our Lord Jesus Christ,  the eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of YOUR calling, what are the riches of the glory of Jesus’ inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of YOUR power toward us who believe, according to the working of YOUR mighty power which YOU worked in Christ when YOU raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at YOUR right hand in the Heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named.

And YOU put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His Body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all.

In Jesus’ Name and by The Holy Spirit,

Amen!!!

A Deeper Anointing

May 9th, 2020

A deeper anointing is at hand. Expect to experience it! It may manifest immediately after an act of Agape Love which will be a confirmation.

Our faith is our evidence of expectation and is pleasing to FATHER. Our faith will always be greater than the manifestation of whatever we are expecting.

What We Embrace

May 8th, 2020

There is no true benefit for me to have an opinion and draw conclusions based on current world events.  Why?  Because the world continues to spread lies supporting their bias and agenda thus contradicting the Absolute Truth only found from the Throne Room of Heaven and conveyed to us by The Holy Spirit and The Word of GOD.

The adversary is using willing vessels to spread the seeds of death and destruction, some knowingly and some unknowingly.  Those succumbing to the adversary’s devices will suffer judgment and we must not allow ourselves to evoke judgment of any kind as FATHER will sufficiently deal with the “instruments” of the devil.

The world is using fear to control people who have no true revelation of faith in GOD.  No we are not to be reckless and defiant but we are to walk and be led by The Holy Spirit in all things.  He will give us a “check” or a warning of what path to refrain from in all situations.  Let us remind ourselves of this Truth as we read Psalms 91.  I do this each morning, not out of duty but out of desire to remain fully conscious of the promises contained in this Psalm for it describes FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love toward us who truly walk in Agape Love.  HE states in verses:

14 “Because he has set his Love upon ME, therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him on high, because he has known MY name.

15 He shall call upon ME, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him,

And show him MY salvation.”

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 1:

12 But those who embraced Him and took hold of His name (Jesus Christ)

were given authority to become the children of GOD!

To express the intent of what is being said, “Those who are putting faith into his name.” To “lay hold of His name” means to believe all that He represents and put into practice what He taught in the power of His Name.

Where should I place my daily focus in order to walk fully in the same power as Jesus walked?  Should I spend hours in front of the TV listening to what the world says about the latest “facts” of a pandemic?  Are those “facts” going to minister salvation or healing to anyone?  If I am to put faith in the Name of Jesus, I should be building my foundation of faith by studying, pondering, and reflecting on His Words and acts throughout the day.  Jesus tested the disciples in John chapter 6 when He was about to feed the five thousand:

4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. 5 Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” 6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.

7 Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”

8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”

It is reasonable to conclude by this passage in John and Mark chapter 6 that the “treasury” Judas was carrying had two hundred denarii in it by what Philip said in response.  Andrew chimed in and commented that a young lad had the only food available.

Jesus knew what He was going to do for FATHER had already instructed Him of what to expect.  Neither disciple had a clue or expectation of a miracle to come forth even though they had already witnessed miracles by the hand of Jesus.

Afterward, Jesus instructed the disciples to take a boat trip where they were caught up in a storm.  Was Jesus surprised?  Not in the least.  However, they had not pondered the miracle they just experienced.

After Jesus walked on water and calmed the seas:

51 Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled. 52 For they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened.

They were insensitive to Jesus’ Words and results when He fed the five thousand.  When we don’t ponder the Words and acts of Jesus, we too become insensitive and no longer embrace Him and take hold of His Name where the power and authority is derived from.  We must not allow ourselves to embrace anything else contrary to The Word and The Holy Spirit.

Joseph; All For One, and One For All.

May 7th, 2020

As a Loving and loyal servant of the Anointed One, Jesus, He called me for a mission to reveal FATHER’S wonderful Gospel of Agape Love. I write these blogs to all HIS Beloved chosen ones, for you have been Divinely summoned to be Holy in HIS Eyes.  May His joyous grace and total well-being, flowing from Our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, rest upon you.  You and I are called into a faithful commitment to Jesus, to bring honor to His Name.  You and I are among the chosen ones who received the call to belong to Jesus, the Anointed One.

My friend Alan wrote the following:

Joseph; All For One, and One For All.

As We now try tocontinue with the on-going saga of Jacob/Israel, and the continued accumulation of sons brought forth from the union of Jacob with Leah, and the two hand-maidens that were gifts from Laban, the father of Leah and Rachel.  For it is Rachel, the one ‘true love’ that got Jacob entangled into this circus of activity, and Rachel has yet to conceive, and bear a son to validate the union of Jacob and Rachel.  And Rachel is still under intense personal pressure, from herself, to produce a son, and heir, for her husband.  Her sister, Leah, has not only produced six sons, potential heirs of the family birthright, but she has also produced a daughter, Dinah, as if to emphasize to Rachel, that she not only has not produced a son, but she also hasn’t even produced a daughter.  All of the women with which Rachel has had to ‘share’ her husband have produced sons for Jacob, but the only legitimate object of Jacob’s love and affection, Rachel, is still barren.

KJV Genesis 30:22 And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

The apparent pregnancy and pending birth for Rachel must have caused quite the commotion and scurry of excitement in Jacobville, that community of wives and offspring that all found their identity and sustenance in union with Jacob, ‘son of Isaac’.  All of these people lived in the geography overseen by Laban the Syrian of Padan-Aram.  So the news of a pending birth to Jacob, husband to Rachel, would also be noteworthy to the household of Laban.

KJV Genesis 30:23 And she conceived, and bore a son; and said, “God hath taken away (asaph)my reproach.”

This verse unveils a remarkable bit of information that has been scarcely, if at all, discussed in circles of Bible students.  For in this very statement uttered by Rachel, “God has taken away my reproach”, is revealed the name of her first-born son Joseph; or, ‘Yoseph”.  We will discuss this further, but first we must consider, or at least acknowledge the verse that most in Bible study circles have considered to be the revealing of why Rachel declared the name of her firstborn to be Joseph.

KJV Genesis 30:24 And she called his name Joseph; and said, “The LORD shall add to me another son.”

We have endeavored to discover the Spiritual value revealed in the names of these first ten sons of Jacob.  Some of these names have yielded some quite valuable bits of Spiritual insight.  And if all of these previous sons of Jacob were given names that were valuable to communicate to us Spiritual information that proves to be of importance in this portion of this God pageant of the scriptures, and continues to be of importance later on in the scriptures as we pursue our journey from Adam to Christ, of how much more value could the name of ‘Joseph’ (Yo-seph as pronounced in the Hebrew vernacular) prove to be in expanding our Spiritual understanding and appreciation of this magnificent pageant which Our Father, the Holy Spirit of Truth in Love,  has laid out and orchestrated for our behalf?

All Hebrew words/names we investigate are derived from action/verbs that are composed of three letters.  These ‘three-letter’ action verbs describe activity, and when we can discern, by Holy Spirit Revelation, the motive or motivation that is the impetus that reveals the purpose which is the driving force to impose or impart a particular, or specific verb/activity, we are drawing much closer to ‘seeing’ the Heart of God, and we can grasp the intent and purpose that this verb activity is attempting to bring about, and reveal to us.

I know of no better description of the name ‘Yoseph’, “Joseph”, which I can share than to include a writing that I did on this subject/name a few years back.  So, I will plagiarize myself from a previous article that I believe communicates, more effectively, this idea surrounding the name Joseph “Yoseph”.

What could possibly be the connection between Joseph, Asaph, doors, thresholds, gates, reeds and the Red Sea?  Only religion could so confuse the simplicity of God’s Word to us that we could spend two thousand years (2 days?) wandering in the wilderness of misunderstanding, and be so blinded from such a simple truth.  When Yashua appeared as Messiah his ‘assignment’ was to reveal to us the plain and uncomplicated reality of the Kingdom of God within.  And according to John, chapter 17, he did exactly as Our Father had asked him to do.  He manifested Father before us, severing us from the stronghold of satanic carnality.  Even so, religion still had a role to play in keeping us in a 2-day pageant (two thousand years?) until it was time for us to see (sea?), for ourselves, the foolishness that religion has perpetrated on humanity.  The timing of God’s Pageant is flawless, and cannot be improved upon.  We have currently entered into the Third Day (as I am able to understand it), and it is now time for us to move on, and to move up.  Come with me as we ascend in our heavenly understanding of who, and whose, we are.  “Come up here!” [Rev. 4:1”]

Joseph, the 11th son of Jacob, has a very unique role to play in our journey from Adam to Christ.  The name ‘Joseph’, in Hebrew, is ‘yo-seyph’, and is referenced in Strong’s Concordance as #3130.  The name ‘yo-seyph’ (Joseph) is derived from the primary root ‘sa-phaph’ , and for you researchers, is Strong’s #5605.  ‘sa-phaph’, as a primary root, is only used one time in the Old Testament.  That singular use of ‘sa-phaph’ is in Psalm 84:10 where it is translated as “doorkeeper”.  If I am able to communicate this concept accurately, hopefully we can discover that the root ‘sa-phaph’ is not a reference to an actual doorkeeper, but something much more revealing and personal to us individually.  Can it be that the use of the word ‘doorkeeper’, was referring to the opportunity, or assignment, to guard, so as to keep safe and to make available the ‘doorway’ to the House of God?  Not a physical door or gate or threshold of a physical structure, but access to the Spiritual Threshold and gate and Door to the Spirit Kingdom of God within, which is of course “the House of God”, and to keep that ‘Way’ available and safe and open to as many as will be “Asaph” ‘Yoseph’, or ‘added’ to the House of God?!  That just makes a lot more sense to me.

The Hebrew word ‘sa-phaph’, and all of the words that are derived from this primary root, infer and refer to a container that contains an experience or understanding of dearest value, and/or the doorways and thresholds and gates that are the access points of that valued experience, or understanding.  The inference of the words derived from ‘sa-phaph’ is not the importance of the containers, or even the access points, but rather to the valuable substance or experience or understanding that is containedin or made accessible via these doors and gates and thresholds, etc.  As I meditated and mused on this concept while studying this word ‘asaph’, ‘yasaph’, yoseph, and Joseph.  How much meaning and purpose now I can see in the old custom of a Bridegroom sweeping up his Bride into his arms, and carrying her across the threshold (asaph) into their new home together as Bride and Bridegroom have now become One.  Hope that makes sense to you.

Maybe the most effective notation for describing the use of the word ‘sa-phaph’ is to say that this word is referring to a location or containment of a valuable substance, or understanding.  To be “gathered together”, in one collective or locale or condition or mentality, is what the word ‘Asaph’ is describing.  And Asaph is also a very important prophetic character in the Old Testament.

The first use of the word ‘sa-phaph’ I can find is in Gen. 6:21 where the simpler form ‘asaph’ is translated as “…thou shalt gather”.  This word is also used in Gen. 49:1 where Jacob, (not Israel), called for his sons to “Gather yourselves together…”; Jacob told them literally to ‘asaph’.   This word ‘sa-phaph’ is used many, many times throughout the Old Testament, and in many forms.  And in all of these uses of this Hebrew verb, the idea of gathering together, a common interest or value, is conveyed.  But the word is also translated as ‘threshold’, ‘basin’, ‘door’, ‘posts’ (as doorposts) , and ‘cup’.  The word is obviously not describing all of these different objects, but that which is desirable that is contained in these objects, or made accessible through or beyond these objects.

Joseph, the 11th son of Jacob, was destined to ascend beyond all of the previous sons of Jacob; in importance, and in results.  Joseph was sold into slavery to Ishmaelites by his older brother Judah.  Judah, with the help of Reuben, did so in effort to get rid of Joseph (Yo-seyph) without bringing murder onto the heads of the sons of Jacob.  So Joseph (yo-seyph) was sold for 20 pieces of silver.  It is worthy to note here that the word ‘silver’ is also from this primary root ‘sa-phaph’.  Silver, ‘keh-seph’ in Hebrew (Strong’s #3701) is also referring to a recognized value; and many recognize that ‘keh-seph’, or ‘silver’, is symbolic of Redemption.  ‘Yo-seyph’ was sold for ‘keh-seph’ (silver), just as the Messiah would later be sold for silver.  As we all know, Joseph ascended to the throne of Pharaoh, essentially becoming king in all of Egypt.  Joseph (yo-seyph) was the vehicle employed to ‘add’ (asaph) the family of Jacob to those that would survive the coming apocalypse of famines.  That also sounds like ‘Redemption’ to me.  For God, Our Father, knows the end of the story before the story begins.

A valuable mystery to investigate at this time is the correlation between ‘sa-phaph’ and the Red Sea.  The Hebrew word for ‘red’ in ‘Red Sea’ is ‘suf’ (soof), and is Strong’s #5488 for the Bereans in our midst.  Red Sea in Hebrew is ‘yahmsuf’, or literally “Sea ofSuph”.  The Hebrew word ‘suph’, referenedasStrong’s  #s 5486, 5488 and 5489, according to Gesenius’ Concordance, is best recognized as an opportunity, to ‘’cut off, or separate, or to be snatched away from one experience so that another experience may begin, or be accessed.  That is my paraphrase (‘Alan’), but I trust it implicitly.  And how ironic that most of the Spiritual goals we strive for, are first accessed by the confession of the words of our mouth, originating in our hearts.  Seems to fit for me.

From this concept it is reasonable to realize that the ‘sea of suph’ was a basin in which to be drowned, or baptized into, or to pass through, depending on whatever your assignment, or to that which you were qualified.  One in our midst has often referred to the Red Sea as a sea of red ink.  How appropriate.  How Wright that description.  The various forms of the verb ‘sa-phaph’ have been used to refer to being gathered together into a common identity, or experience or reality or value; or to being consumed and/or to being cut off and/or finding escape from certain experiences or destinations.  What a versatile word.  It is also used to refer to the location or access points (doors, gates, basins, or thresholds) at which those experiences can be obtained.  But the most interesting aspect of this word ‘sa-phaph’, at least to me, is the idea that all the different forms of this word end with the letter ‘pey’.  ‘Pey’, the seventeenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, is symbolized by the mouth, and indicative of the importance of the words that we speak.  Words that begin with, or end with, pey are usually emphasizing how we are affected or influenced by what comes out of our mouth.  And we know from scripture that the words that we speak are because of the abundance of what is in our heart (Matt. 12:34)

The word ‘sea’ therefore can be referring to a mindset or mentality of humanity that is easily agitated and fomented by whatever wind (spirit) of doctrine or confusion is available to churn up our waters.  The ‘sea’ of humanity is frantic and emotionally distraught because of the abundance of their/our hearts, which eventually comes out of the mouths.  Only one Spirit, the Holy Spirit of Truth in Love, which Yashua referred to as “My Father”, has the ability and assignment to still the storms which rage in our ‘sea of humanity’.  How appropriate that Yashua illustrated for us the ability to “walk above” the furor and restlessness of the ‘sea of humanity’.  Can we learn from this illustration?  I think so.  Yashua, our Redeemer, has baptized us all into His death of the ‘Suf Sea’ of humanity, cutting us off from the legitimate claim that satanic carnality has upon us, and Yashua has brought us (rersurrected us out from the death of the ‘sea of humanity, and placed us safely on on the other side on dry ground, and gathered us (asaph) into One Spirit, and introduced us to His Father, and Our Father. Inviting us to accept this ‘gathering together’ via the confession of faith from our own mouths.

I hope this stirs your imagination and understanding of Who, and Whose we are in Christ.  And how we appropriate and gain that benefit.

I might sum up this description of the Spiritual value revealed in Yoseph, in that we all, ultimately,  impact or influence our own Spiritual journeys by the words of our mouths, coming from the abundance of our hearts.  And likewise, Yoseph (our own confessions) becomes the most critical reality ‘identity’ on our journey from ‘adam’ to ‘Christ’, and is only followed  and superseded by Benjamin (Ben Yamin), which is quite literally, the right to be the Son.Does God, Our Father have a ‘right’ hand, versus a ‘left’ hand?  Is the ‘left hand’ of God inferior to the ‘right hand’ of God?

Shalom, Y’all.       alan

Finding Normal- Part 5

May 6th, 2020

Each nation around the world is being challenged by a pandemic which has the adversary as its source.  A plague was permitted to come upon Egypt as they were opposing FATHER’S Word concerning the bondage of the children of Israel.  Science appeals to man’s soulish nature and would have us believe some natural mutation of a virus is the cause.  The true cause is moral decay within each nation.  FATHER’S Normal, HIS Divine Intent is for all men to walk disease-free and this is expressed over and over in HIS Word.  Clearly, there is a major issue that must be dealt with so we must look to The Word for answers.  It is obvious the “super-intelligent” have none.

Paul specifically and openly reveals FATHER’S judgment concerning moral decay without any reluctance.  Paul wrote by revelation from The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 1:

16 I refuse to be ashamed of sharing the wonderful message of GOD’S liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first, and then people everywhere! 17 This gospel unveils a continual revelation of GOD’S righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says:

“We are right with GOD through life-giving faith!”

Now that we understand the wonderful message of FATHER’S “liberating power” through Christ, FATHER reveals HIS wrath by specifically speaking against any and all excuses being used to rationalize why men and women justify their thoughts and actions.  There are no excuses.

18 For GOD in Heaven unveils HIS Holy anger breaking forth against every form of sin, both toward ungodliness that lives in hearts and evil actions. For the wickedness of humanity deliberately smothers the truth and keeps people from acknowledging the truth about GOD. 19 In reality, the Truth of GOD is known instinctively, for GOD has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. 20 Opposition to Truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of GOD’S nature have been made visible, such as HIS Eternal power and transcendence. HE has made HIS wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse.

21 Throughout human history the fingerprints of GOD were upon them, yet they refused to honor HIM as GOD or even be thankful for HIS kindness. Instead, they entertained corrupt and foolish thoughts about what GOD was like. This left them with nothing but misguided hearts, steeped in moral darkness. 22 Although claiming to be super-intelligent, they were in fact shallow fools. 23 For only a fool would trade the unfading splendor of the Immortal GOD to worship the fading image of other humans, idols made to look like people, animals, birds, and even creeping reptiles!

Why did FATHER allow the virus to come in with a “vengeance” and decimate the economies of nations?  In the past, there was supernatural restraint protecting Godly nations and history provides multiple testimonies of this Truth.

24 This is why GOD lifted off HIS restraining hand and let them have full expression of their sinful and shameful desires. They were given over to moral depravity, dishonoring their bodies by sexual perversion among themselves— 25 all because they traded the Truth of GOD for a lie. They worshiped and served the things GOD made rather than the GOD WHO made all things—glory and praises to HIM for eternity of eternities! Amen!

26–27 For this reason GOD gave them over to their own disgraceful and vile passions. Enflamed with lust for one another, men and women ignored the natural order and exchanged normal sexual relations for homosexuality. Women engaged in lesbian conduct, and men committed shameful acts with men, receiving in themselves the due penalty for their deviation.

28 And because they thought it was worthless to embrace the true knowledge of GOD, GOD gave them over to a worthless mind-set, to break all rules of proper conduct. 29 Their sinful lives became full of every kind of evil, wicked schemes, greed, and cruelty. Their hearts overflowed with jealous cravings, and with conflict and strife, which drove them into hateful arguments and murder. They are deceitful liars full of hostility. They are gossips 30 who love to spread malicious slander. With inflated egos they hurl hateful insults at GOD, yet they are nothing more than arrogant boasters. They are rebels against their parents and totally immoral. 31 They are senseless, faithless, ruthless, heartless, and completely merciless. 32 Although they are fully aware of GOD’S laws and proper order, and knowing that those who do all of these things deserve to die, yet they still go headlong into darkness, encouraging others to do the same and applauding them when they do!

The Holy Spirit has provided us with a stark contrast to walking in FATHER’S Normal.  The above does not need any additional commentary for it provides explicit detail to FATHER’S judgment upon nations.  All who are walking in sin and unrighteousness need to repent.  The stakes are extremely high at this point in history.  What say you?
