Before Time Began

August 14th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Titus chapter 1:

1 Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness,

2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

3 but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior

Our promise of eternal life was given to us before any of us were formed in the womb… even before time began.  What a plan!  We must not let the temporal challenges that the world has set before us overwhelm us and preoccupy our consciousness.  Let each of us examine and assess our current state in this area.  We must place our hope and focus on the eternal, not the temporal.  The spiritual is a higher state than the physical and as we dwell and meditate on the spiritual, our physical state will begin to line up with our spiritual state.

Paul also wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 1:

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

The fact that you are reading this should encourage you that you are among those who FATHER has selected to be exposed to such a mystery.  This alone should give each of us hope.  I would treat this as an invitation to dig deeper into the Revelation of The Lord Jesus Christ and gain understanding of exactly what FATHER’S immediate purpose and plan are so that we can become an integral part of HIS plan.  Where do we start?  Just consider all the Words Jesus spoke in the Gospels.  He spoke the Word as directed by FATHER so we can know FATHER’S intent and gain further understanding of HIS motivation of Love.

Rest and relax in the reality that we are eternal beings chosen before the foundation of the world.  Given that Truth why are we fretting about what tomorrow may bring?  Jesus made this point in Matthew chapter 6:

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”

Let our faith and trust be placed in FATHER and HIS plan rather than the circumstances surrounding us today for our circumstances can change in a nanosecond.  Let our faith IN HIM be our guiding light so that we can operate well within the realm of HIS Intent of Love.  FATHER is willing and able to supply all our need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus so let our faith be directed according to that Truth so that it becomes a reality in our individual lives.  If FATHER chose us before the foundation of the world, surely HE made preparations for meeting our needs as well no matter how significant.  You and I are in the big picture of eternity so let us consciously walk out that reality in our everyday lives.

The Path of Faith

August 13th, 2017

In Hebrews chapter 11 it is written by THE SPIRIT:

8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;

10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.

12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

FATHER will call us out of our comfort zone in order to minister a new revelation to us.  Just as Abraham did not know where he was going, there are times when FATHER does not divulge any details until we have by faith stepped out our familiar surroundings.  Sometimes those surroundings are built on tradition and we must not let any traditions impede the revelation about to come forth.  We all want to dwell in the city whose builder and maker is Our Heavenly Father yet many want to remain in the comfort of known surroundings.  Abraham wasn’t given that choice.

Sarah also had to walk in faith so that she could receive strength to conceive seed.  Her familiar surroundings would have convinced her that she could not bare a son and would have diluted her faith.  She needed to be separated from those surroundings as well.

There are times when FATHER isolates us from those who would negatively impact our faith and we must not concern ourselves with this temporary separation.  Instead, let FATHER minister HIS Word for us and let us respond by walking in faith concerning HIS Word.  It may be emotionally challenging during the time when faith must manifest the reality of what FATHER is about to bring forth.  This is one aspect of our calling- be fully submitted to FATHER’S leading.

Just as it did in Abraham and Sarah’s case, FATHER’S Word may require substantial commitment on our part.  Imagine raising a son in your latter years!  This is where trust in FATHER’S plan must be unshakeable.  Some of us will be stretched beyond what we thought we could handle but FATHER is well aware of our capacity and resilience.  HE will not give us more than we can handle so when HE places us on a path, stay focused on HIS Word and know that a Loving FATHER will lead and guide us through all the challenges which may arise along that path.

Be A Light Bearer

August 12th, 2017

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Philippians chapter 2:

12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,

15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

16 holding fast the word of life . . .

This is a rather simple directive to our ministry as Sons of GOD.  FATHER is not surprised about the existence  of a crooked and perverse generation.  Neither is HE concerned about HIS Sons and Daughters being prepared as Light Bearers.  HE knows that this latter group will be ready to minister to all who are groping around in the darkness.  The only question is which group will you or I be in?  These writings are intended to prepare us internally (spiritually) for our calling rather than focus on the external worldly events.  The external will not change the internal.

Unconditional Love must take over our entire being for us to be able to function in the same manner as Jesus Christ.  We each know what our true priorities are on a daily basis even though we may perpetuate an acceptable illusion to others.  How do I look at others- with compassion or distaste?  How do I respond to others?  Do I seek ways to bless people with acts of kindness?  Do I really listen to others or am I more interested in them hearing my point of view?  Each of us must assess our own priorities.  Only FATHER and I know the Truth of the matter.

Be a light bearer with the good news of salvation, restoration, and healing.  As we each take on those qualities required, we will come into unity with FATHER and each other.  The message will then spread around the globe.

Moving Toward Transparency

August 11th, 2017

If there is one quality missing among most people, it is a lack of transparency.  Walking in transparency is in direct conflict with the ego which wants to project full and complete success in all that we have set our hands to do.  We want those around us to believe that we have no struggles or issues that might lower our status among our peers.  It is often about building a reputation without the Truth and facts being the foundation.

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Philippians chapter 2:

1 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,

2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Transparency must begin with those who have gained your trust over the years and are like-minded with you.  Those who are pursuing a walk in Agape Love will meet that criteria before others do for they will not use your transparency as a means to hurt or belittle you.  Let’s face it, we all have plenty of imperfections if we are only willing to be open about it.  Those walking in selfish ambition will exploit your weaknesses and time will divulge their intent.  Conceit is an attempt at “empty glory” in order to exalt oneself without any basis.

We need to move to a state of Agape Love where we are truly in one accord and of one mind.  This can only be done as we are willing to take on the Mind of Christ.  In order to achieve this, we must become transparent ourselves and quit trying to keep up with the false perceptions created by those who have no transparency.  Our focus must be on the Truth which will stand on its own and quit trying to massage the facts to fit some perception our ego wants us to promote.  Keep in mind that FATHER gives me these writings and are meant to change me as well as those who read and embrace them.

There is much peer pressure found among most groups of believers who think they have the key to Sonship.  It is subtle but nonetheless it is there.  If Agape Love were truly the primary goal of those groups, this would not be the case.  Agape Love cannot be reduced to a formula, counting dates, some form of technical analysis, or declaration founded on some past revelation.  Agape Love is a personal, spiritual issue which must be addressed by each one of us individually.  Will there be some corporate activation on a specific Feast day that all will acknowledge as the turning point?  Possibly, but we must not concern ourselves with the corporate at the expense of our individual spiritual state.  If each of us will watch over our own situation and focus on becoming mature, the corporate will take care of itself through FATHER’S Plan.

Paul expressed this Truth and gave us the perfect Example:

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

If we truly want to be Christ-like and become mature Sons of GOD then we must take what Paul wrote seriously in the above passage.  This must become the number one priority in our daily walk.  We must become transparent in our relationship with others who we believe to be like-minded.  This will allow us to minister to whatever is keeping our brother or sister from overcoming their daily challenges.  As we make ourselves of no reputation as did Jesus, we then allow FATHER to decisively move us to the fullness of our calling.  This calling will be 100% motivated by Agape Love.  We will not have to convince people of our calling for they will see it because of the transparency of our lives.

Suffering

August 10th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT it is written in Acts chapter 9:

15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.

16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”

17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

18 Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.

19 So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.

Most Christians are not looking to suffer on behalf of Christ yet Jesus made it clear that Saul (who is Paul) must suffer for Jesus Christ.  There is a message of hope that would have us believe we should never suffer but live a life without having to overcome obstacles.  Yet when you listen to those who preach this, they typically use examples in their own lives of suffering where they had to overcome.

By THE SPIRIT Paul ended up writing two-thirds of the New Testament thus his suffering produced much fruit on behalf of the Kingdom.  He was a chosen vessel to suffer on Jesus’ behalf.  Are we willing to suffer in like manner?  In Romans chapter 8, Paul writes about suffering:

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

The thought of suffering can bring about fear of the unknown but Paul associates it with the spirit of bondage and we must not let bondage rise up in us.  Instead, we cry out to Abba, FATHER WHO removes any obstacles which appear to be insurmountable.  Let us be strong and of good courage as we are faced with life’s challenges, some of which will cause us to suffer.  Let our trust in FATHER overshadow anything set before us.  Each of us should simply Love, forgive, and walk in the fruit of THE SPIRIT.  As we do the things we must suffer will shrink in their ability to affect us.

Paul continues:

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

The sufferings we are subjected to are of little or no consequence when we compare the suffering with the glory to be revealed in us.  With this assurance, embrace the suffering knowing that the reward outweighs the suffering we are required to endure.  If you are emotionally drained, cry out to “Abba, Father” knowing that FATHER will comfort you as you walk out the suffering set before you.

Light Of Life

August 9th, 2017

In John chapter 8 Jesus spoke:

12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Men walk around in darkness hoping to find someone who can lead them toward the light.  They devour books, articles from the Internet, and interviews of people with past success in pursuit of the “light” yet Jesus plainly stated that He is the light of the world.  Fear and scarcity are the general motivators of those who trust in man’s opinion rather than the revelation provided by Jesus.

Men will manipulate others in order to achieve their own goal and they have no problem with the fallout their actions produce.  They present convincing arguments that line up with their theory so that others will rally behind their cause.  This is especially true in the area of religious doctrine.  Their doctrine frequently contains some “elitist” revelation that separates them from the rest of the world.  Once they promote division, they have revealed their intent and it does not include unconditional Love.

The light Jesus spoke of leads men to zoe life- the absolute fullness of life from FATHER.  Men want this zoe life but are unwilling to pay the price to achieve it.  Why?  Their ego has convinced them that they will lose some strategic edge resulting in loss of stature, finances, or other achievement they hold dear.

Jesus referred to zoe life when He made the statement in Matthew chapter 7:

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Jesus warned us of the difficulty in walking according to The Way which leads to zoe life.  It is protected from those who would compromise the walk with their own agenda and/or motivation.  We must let The Word cleanse us and purify us so that we are found worthy to enter in through the narrow gate.  Our life must become transparent before FATHER so that anything impure may be dealt with decisively.

We must place our faith and trust in FATHER’S Word above all else we hear and read.  Man’s opinion of FATHER’S Word will not open the gate thus we need to embrace the ministry of The Holy Spirit to guide us into all Truth.  Jesus knew we would have the need of assistance and that is why in John chapter 14 Jesus assured the disciples:

25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

It takes time and commitment to walk according to The Way.  This zoe life is not attained by casual attempts to change when the urge hits us.  The Sons of GOD must be fully committed to also bring forth the light of life.  FATHER will not give this responsibility to those HE cannot trust with such a precious revelation.  Let us prove ourselves by trusting and relying on FATHER to bring us into full understanding of walking in the light.

Sons Of The Day

August 8th, 2017

In  1st Thessalonians chapter 5 Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.

8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Those who are pursuing The Way are among the sons of light for they seek wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to walk in the light and be led by THE SPIRIT.  We all understand the need to have a revelation of Agape Love in order to fulfill our calling.  We also know the necessity of walking in faith and renewing our minds with the hope of salvation.  The spiritual is what moves us to focus on the eternal rather than the temporal of this world.

FATHER has called us to remain sober, in full control of our faculties so that we are not caught unprepared for whatever is placed in our paths.  The center of our preparedness must be based on Love and we must not let anything dim the light found in us.  This light grows brighter as our Love takes over all aspects of our life.  When we are seen as pure Love then we will emit the pure light of Christ in us.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 4:

3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.

6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Once again we are reminded of the ministry of The Holy Spirit whereby we glorify Christ.  Our light is not determined by the level of blindness of those who do not believe but by the Love we walk in as we minister Christ to a dying world.  There will be days when it seems that there is a resistance to our message but we must not let the temporal define our determination to spread the Gospel of Love.  We are vessels formed by FATHER’S Hands and HE knows exactly how to mold us for HIS use on a day-to-day basis.  If today seems a little “dry” then simply minister to FATHER by speaking forth the testimonies of deliverance and healing HE has done in your life.  Sing forth HIS praises which will remove any hindrance you might be experiencing.

Go spread some Love by speaking forth a kind word or other act of Love.  Our calling does not depend on how we feel or what we confront any particular day.  We must simply press on in faith that FATHER will intervene whenever necessary.  Our hope is renewed as we break through the resistance and gain victory over the circumstances which would attempt to derail our mandate.  Let the day grow brighter as we enter the situation FATHER has placed us in… we are Sons of the day.

HIS Workmanship

August 7th, 2017

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 2:

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Each of us has a unique history of interaction with family, friends, and acquaintances.  Some of those people may have spoken doubt and negativity over us to such a degree that we assumed they were correct in their assessment.  Those words and thoughts must be removed from our hearts and minds.  How do we do this?  By learning to trust FATHER’S Word spoken to us and about us knowing that HIS Word is far superior to any word spoken by man.  His Word has power and authority behind it whereas man’s word is only as effective as the recipient allows it to be.  When we are young, we tend to accept words spoken over us without considering we could reject their intent.

We are HIS Workmanship created for good works.  We must embrace that Truth above everything else that has been spoken over us throughout our lives.  FATHER is the Creator and has the right to create us for any purpose HE sees fit.  If we have deep-seated beliefs that conflict with this Truth, then we must dwell and meditate on the above passage until it becomes more alive than anything else in our hearts and minds.

FATHER has given us gifts to operate in.  These gifts are not given because we earned them but are given to fulfill HIS Divine Intent of Love.  Our responsibility is to operate in what has been assigned to us individually.  We do not have to take on the responsibility for acquiring gifts since FATHER has take on that task HIMSELF.  We simply need to be led by HIS SPIRIT.

In Ephesians chapter 3:

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—

19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

As we come to fully trust FATHER’S Word, we will be rooted and grounded in Love which will also increase our comprehension.  As we mature, we will be filled with the fullness of FATHER and HIS Workmanship will express itself to those whom we minister.  This will promote the good works we were created to perform.

Reap Everlasting Life

August 6th, 2017

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Galatians chapter 6:

6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Sowing and reaping is a fundamental law FATHER set up for us to be a blessing to others.  Many of us have been sowing into others’ lives for a number of years and we must not grow weary while doing good.  Some seed simply takes longer to produce a harvest than other seed.  If you find yourself growing weary then maybe it is time to take a few days and re-create.  There will be plenty of time to minister after your break and it is important to stay refreshed.

FATHER is well aware of our limitations and is more than willing to minister to our needs accordingly.  I can attest that HIS ministry of restoration is always complete, lacking nothing.

We are warned not to sow to the flesh which in turn produces corruption.  We should be sowing what is pleasing to THE SPIRIT knowing that we shall reap everlasting life.  Agape Love sows life, health, and healing to those who make themselves available to Love’s ministry.  Love never fails to produce everlasting life and we must not allow ourselves to miss such a critical blessing.  FATHER expects us to do good to all so let us be pleasing in HIS eyes as we sow good seed into others.

Let us bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.  There will be times when we think we can handle no more but let Christ strengthen us so that we can be a blessing to those who are weak.  Agape Love is all about a life of service to others without bringing attention to ourselves.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Philippians chapter 4:

12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

You and I can minister to others no matter what state we are in for we know that Christ strengthens us as well.  We have a history with FATHER renewing our strength so that we could minister Love to those who are weak and/or immature.  FATHER can and will work out what resources we need in order to reap everlasting life among those we are ministering.  Everlasting Life is worth the effort!

Your Unique Calling

August 5th, 2017

Each of us has a unique and special calling given to us by FATHER.  Some callings are rather “public” by their very nature whereas other callings may remain hidden from public view and scrutiny.  We must not be moved by what others have been called to do and feel that if we don’t participate in their callings we are missing out on a blessing.  Let us be content and satisfied with what FATHER has called us to do for we are uniquely qualified to fulfill FATHER’S Divine intent for our lives.

We are all called to Love in an unconditional manner.  Once we choose to take this path shown to us by Our Lord Jesus Christ then we are given greater detail about our individual mandate.  It is written in James chapter 5 “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”  If we are called to be prayer warriors on behalf of those who are at the forefront, let us embrace this calling to its fullest.  I personally appreciate effective prayers going before FATHER on my behalf.

Don’t underestimate the importance of your calling!
