Elapsed Time Is No Issue

December 17th, 2018

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Acts chapter 3:

1 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

How many of us lose hope when we are dealing with a sickness, disease, or a malfunction in our body for an extended period of time?  Do we settle in to the notion that we must simply  suffer and get by for the rest of our life with the physical issue?  This lame man was well known for his physical deformity because he grew up being lame and had to be carried around all his life.  It became a custom for him to be taken to the gate of the temple to ask for alms so that he could live off the willingness of others to support him.  What better place to ask for help than at the entrance to the temple at the hour of prayer.  Would you be able to pray in good conscience if you had disregarded this man’s need?

Both Peter and John were in unity with those who had been baptized in the Holy Spirit, continuing daily with one accord in the temple.  Many signs and wonders were wrought by the disciples and those who received the baptism continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.  This unity prepared the disciples for the next recorded event at the temple- confronting the lame man:

3 who (the lame man), seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.

4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”

5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God.

10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Notice that the lame man immediately received healing for his deformity from birth and the necessary strength and ability to walk and leap.  There was no delay in learning to walk or leap for he was given the necessary means to physically act without going through the normal learning stage as babies and toddlers do.  His sense of balance was miraculously given to him in order for there to be no delay.  It is no wonder he was praising GOD.

This miracle could not be rationalized away by alternative ideas and theories of the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees.  They could not deny the miracle of what just happened in their midst.  The veracity of what Peter and John were preaching was confirmed among the people so they knew their message was not just another idea or theory, it was the exact Truth and they had to deal with the reality of this Truth.

How long had the lame man had his condition?  In Acts chapter 4:

22 For the man was over forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed.

We must not give up hope if we are currently suffering with a chronic condition, even if it is from birth.  FATHER’S Agape Love isn’t restricted by elapsed time and we should prepare ourselves with the hope and expectation of a miraculous restoration.  FATHER can and will remove any “spot or wrinkle” for those who Love HIM and there will be no exceptions, not even if we have suffered four decades or longer.

Spiritually Minded- Part 2

December 15th, 2018

In Acts chapter 3, Peter healed the lame man at the Beautiful Gate of the temple.  Everyone knew this lame man and when he was healed, he began walking, leaping, and praising God.  This miracle drew everyone’s attention and all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.  It also drew the attention of the rulers, elders, and scribes.  Peter then preached the Gospel to those who gathered after witnessing and hearing of the miracle.  Many of those who heard The Word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.  When was the last time you heard of 5,000 men being saved in one meeting?

The excitement mounted as the word spread about this one miracle.  In Acts chapter 4, it is written by THE SPIRIT:

5 And it came to pass, on the next day, that their rulers, elders, and scribes,

6 as well as Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the family of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel:

9 If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well,

10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.

11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’

12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Rest assured that those who are carnally minded will challenge us who are spiritually minded for we will challenge their current system in place which serves their selfish motives and livelihood.  Our message is Christ and being led by The Holy Spirit, we will speak only the exact Truth given to us by FATHER according to HIS perfect Will.  Isn’t this what Peter did after he had been filled with The Holy Spirit and had been breathed upon by Jesus?  The Beloved Disciple wrote in by THE  SPIRIT in John chapter 20:

21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

Jesus took a very specific action to prepare the disciples for what lied ahead.  They received a boldness which had not been there prior to that point.  They were being prepared for a public ministry that would continue the ministry and message of Christ.  The fruit included miracles, signs, and wonders which drew the masses and confirmed The Word.  Those in positions of authority were amazed by the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

Shouldn’t we expect Our Lord Jesus Christ to do the same in our midst?  Are we willing to be commissioned for the public ministry in like manner, not by some religious organization but Christ Himself?  Have we made a full commitment to Christ to follow Him and accept our part in establishing The Kingdom?

Speaking of five thousand men, the following video provides perspective when a large number of men come together in unity:  https://youtu.be/9nFE3VSBWG0

Spiritually Minded

December 14th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 8:

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

We are called to be spiritually minded thus our daily focus should be constantly directed to the priorities established by Our Heavenly Father according to our individual callings.  When we step out of our callings and try to take on others’ callings, we become carnally minded because self-interest and self-importance become idols in our lives.  We should encourage and support others’ callings in whatever respect FATHER has ordained by our own calling.  It is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.  It takes each piece to form a complete picture.  If I have resources that I have no need of but another calling is in need of those specific resources, I should provide those resources to them.  Otherwise, those resources become worthless to the Kingdom and gather dust.  We should be on the lookout for such opportunities to further the Kingdom.  After all, the puzzle WILL BE put together.

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

It is critical that we overcome the flesh and mature in becoming spiritually minded in a consistent, daily manner.  Jesus was in constant communion with FATHER in all aspects of His life and His ministry was totally fruitful throughout the 3 1/2 years of His earthly ministry.  It was not drudgery but one of life and peace, even when there was chaos and calamity all around Him.  We should walk in the same “Spirit of Christ” as well.  We are called to walk in the Spirit of Christ for we are His and we should expect the Holy Spirit to move upon us in like manner and quicken our mortal bodies. through His Spirit.

We don’t have to wait for some future event to occur for us to walk in like manner.  Jesus did not wait for some feast day to minister life, He ministered daily… even on the Jew’s Sabbath.  Let the anointing become mighty through us in the same manner.  In Acts chapter 4, it is written by THE SPIRIT:

23   After Peter and John were released, they returned to their own [people] and reported everything that the chief priests and elders had said to them.

24   And when they heard it, they raised their voices together to God and said, “O Sovereign Lord [having complete power and authority], it is You who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them,

25   who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David, Your servant, said,

‘Why did the nations (Gentiles) become arrogant and rage,
And the peoples devise futile things [against the Lord]?

26  ‘The kings of the earth took their stand [to attack],
And the rulers were assembled together
Against the Lord and against His Anointed (the Christ, the Messiah).’  AMPL

When the carnally minded clash with the Spiritually minded, we will discuss tomorrow what transpired.

What And Where Is Your Treasure?

December 13th, 2018

In Matthew chapter 6, Jesus spoke:

19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;

20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

21 For where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also.”

At some point, our preparation must move from passive to active.  We can spend our whole life studying The Word and can be known as professional students or we can move toward walking out the revelation we have been given.  There have been those who have tried to walk out their incomplete preparation and have produced little or no fruit.  Others waited and postponed the next step in walking out the ministry given to us and produced very little or no fruit as well.  The key is to seek FATHER and be fully led by THE SPIRIT according to HIS perfect timing.  That should be what we all seek.

The foundation of our walk must be centered around Agape Love and not anything else.  Each of us must ask “Where is my treasure?”  “What is my life centered around?”  There are those who spend their life accumulating “stuff” and financial treasures only to leave a huge burden of disposing of the “stuff” to their inheritors.  Others accumulate wealth and end up leaving it to those who will ultimately squander it on their lusts and pride.  Either way, their treasure becomes corrupted and gets destroyed in some manner.

As for me, I am laying up my treasure in Heaven where neither moth nor rust destroys it.  No thief can steal it for it is guarded by Our Heavenly Father.  What about you?

FATHER has had my wife and me in a “de-clutter” mode and we are in the midst of getting rid of things we purchased in the past and have held onto beyond their true usefulness.  The stuff simply took up space and caused us difficulty in finding the things we still use.  The local charity knows me well by now.  We chose to help people in need rather than hold garage sales in an effort to squeeze the last dime out of past purchases.  Let our giving be a blessing to those in need.

Our focus must be directed to Heavenly treasures, not earthly accumulations which have no enduring value to the Kingdom.  Yes, we must keep those things and assets which promote our ability to operate going forward but we also must jettison anything which would enslave us from being nimble when FATHER tells us to “Go”.

I would suggest that those who are being led in the same manner, begin to de-clutter your life of anything which would hold you back from what lies ahead for the mature Sons and Daughters of FATHER.  I sense the time is now short and we should prepare ourselves for whatever FATHER calls us to do as a unified Body.  I would also suggest that it is time to ramp up our time in prayer with an expectation of coming into a full unity of fellowship and purpose.  In the coming days, I will further expound on the next steps as FATHER leads.  I myself currently have more questions than answers in this area so I will be seeking FATHER for direction.  If you are also sensing a change, please begin praying about it as well.  Let us be in unity based on our commitment to walk in HIS Love and not simply raise up another church among the 10,000 denominations already in existence.

Physical Death

December 12th, 2018

I do not intend to be morbid but death is part of living on this earth.  It is not necessary to die due to accident, sickness, or disease.  FATHER does not put sickness on us when it is our time to pass from the earthly life.  In Psalm 104, by THE SPIRIT it is written:

29 …You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.

FATHER simply and peacefully takes our breath away just as HE breathed life into man, HE also removes life by taking our breath.  This is how Love operates, not by placing some extended illness on HIS children and causing much pain and suffering in HIS children and anxiety in their loved ones.

In the Book of Job, it is also written by THE SPIRIT in chapter 34:

10 “Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding:

Far be it from God to do wickedness, And from the Almighty to commit iniquity.

11 For He repays man according to his work,

And makes man to find a reward according to his way.

12 Surely God will never do wickedly,

Nor will the Almighty pervert justice.

13 Who gave Him charge over the earth?

Or who appointed Him over the whole world?

14 If He should set His heart on it,

If He should gather to Himself His Spirit and His breath,

15 All flesh would perish together,

And man would return to dust.

It is not the will of Our Heavenly Father for men to suffer so let us not make an exception when it comes to the time of our departure from physical life.  It is totally inconsistent for us to be instructed to heal the sick and then require sickness for us to later die after we live a full and complete life according to HIS purpose.  Let us not allow ourselves to rationalize the method of our physical departure based on man’s traditions and lack of understanding concerning FATHER’S Agape Love.  Is there a better and more peaceful way to pass from this current state?

Body And Spirit

December 11th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 6:

15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!

16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,”He says, “shall become one flesh.”

17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

People focus only on sexual immorality in this passage but I say we must go beyond the “do not” aspect expressed by Paul.  Yes, let us not be sexually immoral but let us truly treat our body as HIS temple where HIS glory resides and expresses Itself.

Many people pursue the state of meeting “minimum” requirements in what they do rather than exceeding expectations.  I believe the mature Sons and Daughters will exceed expectations by pursuing excellence in their walk.  We have been given the opportunity by FATHER to be counted among those whom HE has placed here on this earth at this particular time in history.

In the past, I failed miserably at times to even meet FATHER’S minimum requirements but by HIS great mercy, HE restored me to fellowship with HIM.  Our immaturity is considered as we go through the trials and testings before us and that is why FATHER’S mercy is necessary to be extended to us in order to get us back on track.  Paul’s failures and restoration were very encouraging to me when one considers that he was an enemy to The Way before being confronted by Jesus.

We must not belittle the price paid for our bodies as well as our souls.  Our bodies should become a testimony of Christ just as our actions should reflect FATHER’S Divine Intent.  Jesus went to the cross and left nothing out for He died for our sins and our sicknesses.  Let us pursue excellence in all areas rather than omit any aspect of FATHER’S Divine Intent.  Let us glorify FATHER in body and spirit!

Jesus’ Ministry Has Not Diminished

December 10th, 2018

Man has continued to seek cures for sickness and disease by attempting to discover and understand the design of the human body independent of FATHER’S perfect Divine Intent for healing.  I believe this avenue that man has taken falls under the category of FATHER’S “acceptable” Will rather than HIS perfect will.  Mankind can achieve positive results but they will not obtain 100% success in the acceptable category whereas if we pursue FATHER’S perfect Will, we should expect 100% success when the recipients’ attitude is right.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Acts chapter 5:

14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.

16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

When Peter flowed in FATHER’S perfect will, all were healed in the above passage, not just a few.  Why?  Because the multitudes had seen that through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people (v 12) and their attitudes and expectations lined up with FATHER’S perfect Will to the point where they gather from surrounding cities with their sick to receive healing.  What was the result?  All were healed of sickness, disease, and demonic possession/oppression.  There was no technology, drugs, or any other current means available to them.

Yet when Jesus was ministering in Nazareth, it is written by Mark in chapter 6:

1 Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him.

2 And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands!

3 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.

4 But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.”

5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.

6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

In the above passages, Peter had greater success than Jesus!  I believe it is critical for us to embrace this contrast because of its impact concerning our expectations as we mature.  Jesus spoke in John chapter 14:

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

We must not limit ourselves by thinking we are unworthy to walk in a greater manner than Our Elder Brother as far as tangible results are concerned.  Peter had greater success in Jerusalem than Jesus did in Nazareth because the attitude of the people was right in Jerusalem.  They had seen the many indisputable signs and wonders done by the hands of the apostles.  Those signs and wonders could not be challenged or denied thus the expectation of success was exceedingly high among the people.

The disciples were all in one accord on Solomon’s Porch… they were in total unity.  This is critical for us today as well for our unity has its basis on the teachings of Jesus and the New Testament exact Truths contained therein.  Placing our focus anywhere else will only serve to move us away from FATHER’S perfect Will back to HIS acceptable Will.  Let us not diminish FATHER’S Divine Intent that we are to do greater works than Our Elder Brother.

Do You Really Believe?

December 8th, 2018

By THE SPIRIT, the Beloved Disciple recorded in John 14 when Jesus spoke:

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.“

Men spend billions of dollars in time and money trying to find cures for what they classify as the “incurable” yet Jesus had no problem curing all who were sick.  It all really gets down to the declaration made by Our Lord Jesus Christ in the above verse, “Greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.“  Our maturing process will go no further unless we truly believe this declaration and not allow our past weaknesses and failures to hold us back from ascending to a higher spiritual understanding.  We must change and be transformed by the renewing of our mind to this Truth.

It is recorded by THE SPIRIT in Acts chapter 5 that the disciples rose to that level of spiritual understanding:

12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.

13 Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.

There will be those of us who really believe and not be denied the promise given to us by Our Lord Jesus Christ.  Let you and me be counted among those who truly believed Our Elder Brother!  Once again, it is all about Love.

Think about it.

Thoroughly Equipped

December 7th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Timothy chapter 3:

1  But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear].

2  For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane,

3  [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good,

4  traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God.   AMPL

Doesn’t the above describe precisely what is occurring today?  In the months ahead, I expect the Truth to expose many notable men and women of their hidden agendas which will greatly impact the masses who have blindly followed their leadership.  The Word has warned us of the perversities to be revealed in the “last days”.

But Paul wrote to us, the true believers in Jesus Christ:

10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance,

11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.

The writings we present are intended to mature the Sons and Daughters of Our Heavenly Father who have carefully followed the teachings of Jesus and have not become lukewarm but continue to persevere and remained patient, walking in Agape Love.  Yes, we have suffered persecutions by those whose intent has been to spread their agendas described in verses 1 to 4 because they wanted to remove any opposition who represent the standard of Truth so they would have no restraint from fulfilling their hidden motives.

12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Even though evil has been spreading, FATHER’S Sons and Daughters are being prepared to overcome all the works of the evil one.  We must not allow the current conditions to dishearten us in any manner for Our Heavenly Father will use us to bring forth HIS Kingdom in due season.  Let us be encouraged each day as we continue our preparation to be thoroughly equipped:

14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Jesus was thoroughly equipped for every good work and His success is well documented in the Gospels.  The Disciples became thoroughly equipped and their successes are well documented in the Book of Acts as well as the Epistles.  We should expect nothing less as we come into the full maturity and are equipped for every good work in the perilous times ahead.

Preparing For Warfare

December 6th, 2018

As we spiritually mature, we will confront opposition to our walk.  This is why it is important to become vigilant in our daily lives and continue to prepare for this eventuality.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 6:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Paul provides us with the most important aspect of overcoming the wicked one: the shield of faith which is strengthened by the indwelling Word of GOD in us.  Don’t think you can be slack for days, weeks, months, and years then expect to overcome all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  This is one of the many reasons FATHER has me write to you daily.

There are signs of upheaval ahead and we should be prepared as lights unto a world whose past perceptions and assumptions will be shaken.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Jesus provides us a stark contrast of doing versus not doing His Word.  Who else would we trust to take us through chaos and collapse of Mystery Babylon’s fall?  Let us not become collateral damage when the systems no longer work because the perceptions based on smoke and mirrors are finally exposed.  It is only a matter of time when Truth will expose the lies and deceptions of carnal man.

28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

We have been warned.  Don’t be one the the “astonished”!
