Pursuing Holiness- Part 18

May 25th, 2024

When we walk in Holiness, we will not fear what man can do to us!

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 56:

1  Lord, show me Your kindness and mercy, for these men oppose and oppress me all day long.

2 Not a day goes by without somebody harassing me. So many in their pride trample me under their feet.

3 But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before You and trust in You with all my heart.

4 What harm could a man bring to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. The roaring praises of God fill my heart as I trust His promises.

5 Day after day cruel critics distort my words; constantly they plot my collapse.

6 They lurk in the dark, waiting, spying on my movements in secret to take me by surprise, ready to take my life.

7 They don’t deserve to get away with this! Look at their wickedness, their injustice, Lord. In your fierce anger cast them down to defeat.

8 You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in Your Book of remembrance.

9 The very moment I call to you for a father’s help the tide of battle turns and my enemies flee. This one thing I know: God is on my side!

10 I trust in the Lord. And I praise Him! I trust in the Word of God. And I praise Him!

11 What harm could man do to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. My heart overflows with praise to God and for His promises. I will always trust in Him.

And in Psalm chapter 118:

6  Now I know, Lord, that You are for me, and I will never fear what man can do to me.

7 For You stand beside me as My Hero Who rescues me. I’ve seen with my own eyes the defeat of my enemies. I’ve triumphed over them all!

8 Lord, it is so much better to trust in You to save me than to put my confidence in someone else.

9 Yes, it is so much better to trust in the Lord to save me than to put my confidence in celebrities.

10 Once I was hemmed in and surrounded by those who don’t Love You. But by YAHWEH’s supernatural power I overcame them all!

Is Our Heavenly Father any different today than before?  Not one iota!  Jesus instructed Peter and the other disciples for forty days concerning the Kingdom of God as well as the anticipated empowering of The Holy Spirit.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 4:

13 Now when they (the Sanhedrin) saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

16 saying, “What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

17 But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this Name.”

18 So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the Name of Jesus.

The true church of Jesus Christ is quickly moving toward a confrontation with the adversary’s minions.  Will you cower down into submission or will you walk in the same boldness of Peter, John, and Paul?

Since WWII, the church has coexisted with the opposition without significant challenges.  However, the opposition has taken over many aspects of society today in a very subtle fashion.  By and large, it started in the schools when The Lord’s Prayer was removed.  Once kids no longer kept The Lord God Almighty at the forefront of their consciousness on a daily basis, many kids focused on what the world system was offering.  Accountability to GOD was no longer a priority for those kids who had no spiritual leader at home.

Now, schools have restricted entry, bullet-resistant windows, metal detectors, and additional police presence.  Holiness is no longer promoted in schools.

Jesus spoke in Luke 11:

1  Now it came to pass, as Jesus was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”

2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name.

Your Kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in Heaven.

3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

4 And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.”

The word hallowed means: holy; to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow; to separate from profane things and dedicate to God; consecrate things to God; dedicate people to God.

When those kids prayed, they acknowledged the Holiness of Our Heavenly Father every school day.  Little by little, they became accountable for their actions.

Walking in Holiness, being led by The Holy Spirit, is the solution?

19 But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.

20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”

21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way of punishing them, because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done.

22 For the man was over forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed.

Men can only walk in the power that has been given to them by the people.  This is why those in power create and finance division among the people.  The adversary promotes division and competition so that there will be no unity among the people.  Without unity, those in power tend to remain in place.

23 And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.

24 So when they heard that, they raised their Voice to God with one accord and said:

“Lord, You are God, Who made Heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,

25 Who by the mouth of Your servant David have said: ‘Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things?

26 The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the LORD and against His Christ.’

27 “For truly against Your Holy Servant Jesus, Whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together

28 to do whatever Your Hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. [29] Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your Word,

30 by stretching out Your Hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the Name of Your Holy Servant Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness.

Peter went from denying Christ three times to confronting the Sanhedrin in unwavering boldness.  What was the difference?  He walked in Holiness, boldness, and was led by The Holy Spirit.  I am fully persuaded by The Word of GOD that this is THE solution to our current situation!  Is there any greater priority than this?

Do we need to be well educated to walk in Holiness and serve mankind?

The Sanhedrin was a Jewish judicial and administrative body made up of local elites, including scribes, members of the high-priestly family, and lay elders. The term “Sanhedrin” comes from the Greek word sunedrion, which means “sitting together”. The Sanhedrin had two types of courts: the Great Sanhedrin, which had 71 elders and acted as the Supreme Court, and the Lesser Sanhedrin, which had 23 elders and could be found in each city.

There were two different groups in authority, that is to say, “the elite”.  Pharisees claimed Mosaic authority for their interpretation of Jewish religious law, while Sadducees represented the authority of the priestly privileges and prerogatives established since the days of Solomon, when Zadok, their ancestor, officiated as high priest.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 4:

5  And it came to pass, on the next day, that their rulers (the Sanhedrin), elders, and scribes,

6 as well as Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the family of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel:

9 If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well,

10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Whom you crucified, Whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.

11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’

12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

It is critical that you and I realize the importance of the above passage in our own walk.  It is not our education or training that really matters in dealing with the overwhelming issues at hand.  We are at a time that has never existed before on earth:

The United States has accumulated a national debt that can never be paid off.  For all practical purposes, the government is bankrupt.  Other governments are in a similar situation.

The “elites” are determined to bring all nations under a one world government.

Vaccines are being created as bioweapons against mankind.

The goal of the elites is to move the inhabitants of the earth to a digital currency whereby they can totally control individual spending, movement, and elimination of those who challenge them.

The elites want to reduce the global population to five hundred million.

Who decides who lives and who dies?  Not you or me.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is programmed by individuals who have their own intent and narrative.  It is meant to replace The God of Heaven and earth.

Assets you own are no longer protected by law but instead are subject to those who are in control of the current financial system.

Is there hope for you and me?  Absolutely!  The King of the universe, the Creator of Heaven and earth is on our side.  The solution begins in The Spirit and as we are led by The Holy Spirit, we will walk in the same boldness as Peter and John.

We don’t need PhD’s or MBA’s to be led by The Holy Spirit.  We need to walk in Holiness and be fully led by The Holy Spirit in every step we take.

Consider the fact that the Sanhedrin was the group that fulfilled FATHER’S plan for our salvation by crucifying Our Lord and Savior.  How is HE going to deal with the current situation?  It is way above my “pay grade” but one thing I know for sure, HE is always several moves ahead of the adversary!

As we walk in Holiness, we will serve and affect change!

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 3:

19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,

21 Whom Heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His Holy prophets since the world began.

22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days.

25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’

26 To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

Joshua spoke by THE SPIRIT in Joshua chapter 22:

5   But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to Love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

What does a mature Son and Daughter of GOD do?  They serve in whatever capacity they have been given.  Jesus was the Chief Servant of The Holy One so we should follow in His Footsteps.  That is what this ministry is all about: to serve mankind and move people toward Holiness.  This is accomplished as we walk in Agape Love, faith, and hope.

What will happen as we mature in Holiness?  It should be no different for us as we see with the disciples on the Day of Pentecost.  They were empowered with boldness and began walking in the power and authority of the Name of Jesus.  We should pursue doing the same.

Do you want to change the course of the country you live in?  I am persuaded that the only way to avert destruction from the current path of nations is to embrace and walk in Holiness.  Consider Peter.  No one was interested in what he had to say prior to the Day of Pentecost.  However, on that day everything changed.  He preached to 3,000 and they repented and were added to the church.

What happened next?  It is recorded by Luke who was moved by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 4:

1  Now as they spoke to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them,

2 being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was already evening.

4 However, many of those who heard The Word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

Quickly, two thousand more were added to the church.  This was not well accepted by the leaders of the day.  They were losing power over the people; The King of the Universe saw to that!  If you want to change your environment, walk in Holiness.

What should we expect if we are walking in Holiness?

On the Day of Pentecost, Peter experienced a transformation resulting in him walking in Holiness and one example is given immediately after his transformation.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 3:

6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them-walking, leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God.

10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Peter wasn’t surprised.  John wasn’t surprised yet the onlookers were filled with wonder and amazement… they were astonished at what just happened!  Peter did not keep this power and authority to himself but instead immediately walked in it and blessed a man beyond comparison.  Notice that the man did not have to learn how to walk, run, or leap.  His body bypassed the maturing process of developing leg muscles.

What did the lame man do next?  He held on to Peter and John as all the people gathered.  It was now time for a speech to those who were ready to listen.  They were now interested in what Peter had to say.

11  Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed.

12 So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or Godliness we had made this man walk?

Neither Peter nor John took credit for this miracle.  They pointed everyone to Jesus Who walked as a Servant of The Holy One, referencing Isaiah 49:7.

13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.

14 But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, [

15 and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

16 And His name, through faith in His Name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Not only did the power of GOD heal this man, but he also received immediate soundness in his legs.

17 “Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.

Peter and John expected power and authority immediately after they received the Baptism of The Holy Spirit.  Why did they expect such an infilling?  They now had faith in the Words of Jesus when He spoke just prior to His ascension in Luke 24:

44  Then He said to them, “These are the Words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”

45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

46 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And you are witnesses of these things.

49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on High.

Shouldn’t we walk in the same Holy power and authority once we have received the fullness of The Holy Spirit as Jesus prophesied?

Pursuing Holiness- Part 13

If we are led by The Holy Spirit, we take on the attributes of Holiness!

On the Day of Pentecost, Peter experienced a transformation resulting in him walking in Holiness.

He recorded this Truth as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in his Epistle, chapter 1:

13  Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;

15  but as He who called you is Holy, you also be Holy in all your conduct,

16 because it is written, “Be Holy, for I am Holy.”

17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;

18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,

19 but with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

21 Who through Him believe in God, Who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the Truth through the Spirit in sincere Love of the brethren, Love one another fervently with a pure heart,

Peter’s transformation is a far cry from the time he denied Christ three times.  He received The Word from Jesus for forty days prior to Pentecost, then he received the indwelling of The Holy Spirit to fulfill the empowerment needed to establish the Kingdom of GOD on the earth.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 3:

1  Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.

4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”

The lame man, well known by the people of the area, was looking for silver or gold.  Instead, he received the surprise of his life.

5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

What did Peter now have that he didn’t have before the Day of Pentecost?  He had both power and authority to heal in the Name of Jesus!  He was now walking in Holiness.  Understanding this power and authority, he spoke with a boldness that did not exist before.  He fully expected the lame man to be healed.

As we pursue and embrace Holiness, shouldn’t we expect the same results?

Pursuing Holiness- Part 12

The Holy Spirit is the manifested Essence of Our Holiness here on earth!

Today is that Great Day of Pentecost that first occurred in 33 A.D.  This marks the day that the Ekklesia came into full manifestation with the arrival of The Holy Spirit.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2:

1  When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3 Then there appeared to them divided Tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other Tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

They were all filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit and were inspired to speak in Tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned!

The early church of believers was consummated on this day.  Jesus had prepared the disciples by instructing them for forty days prior to His ascension.  They were in total and complete unity.

Upon the indwelling of The Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in Tongues, the disciples were now bold and assured in their faith.  This is evidenced when Peter stood up and spoke to the crowd who gathered to see what was happening.  They heard both the wind and those who were in one accord, speaking in other languages unknown to the disciples but were known to them.  They were amazed as they heard the wonderful Works of GOD in their own tongue.

12   So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”

13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”

Peter spoke his first message of boldness to the crowd:

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words.

15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day.

16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.

18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.

19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome Day of the LORD.

21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.

Jesus sits at the Right Hand of GOD The Father, and as promised, He sent The Holy Spirit to lead, guide, comfort, and encourage the believers.  This includes you and me.

Peter transformed from a commercial fisherman to a fisher of men.  He fully embraced the teachings of Jesus… finally.  By the infilling of The Holy Spirit, he now had a supernatural boldness to confront the world and establish the Kingdom of GOD on earth.  We are called to do the same!

Pursuing Holiness- Part 11

May 18th, 2024

Our Holiness is only obtained when the Cosmic Ruler of the universe grants us His Holiness!

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 1:

1  The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen,

3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

After His resurrection, Jesus was seen by over 500 witnesses.  Paul attests to this Truth as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 15:

3  For I have shared with you what I have received and what is of utmost importance: The Messiah died for our sins, fulfilling the prophecies of the Scriptures.

4 He was buried in a tomb and was raised from the dead after three days, as foretold in the Scriptures.

5 Then He appeared to Peter the Rock and to the twelve apostles.

6 He also appeared to more than five hundred of his followers at the same time, most of whom are still alive as I write this, though a few have passed away.

7 Then He appeared to James and to all the apostles.

8 Last of all He appeared in front of me, like one born prematurely, ripped from the womb.

There is absolutely no doubt to the historical accuracy of what Paul wrote.  Jesus walked the earth exactly as Scripture conveys to us today.  In 1971, I took a class in “The History of Science” at the University of Oklahoma.  The Department Head Professor was teaching the class.  This department was the premier “History of Science” department in the U.S.  Its library of the history of science was second to none.  This professor spent every summer traveling to the Middle East and participating in archaeological digs.

At the beginning of every class, we watched a slide show of various sites, paintings, and artifacts of photos taken by the professor.  Many pointed to Jesus Christ or scientists acknowledging GOD as their inspiration.  One day, a student asked the professor the question,” Did Jesus Christ really walk the earth at the beginning of the first century?”

The professor replied, “I don’t want to talk about religion, but I can say unequivocally that He did!”  This testimony hit me like a rock, and I then had to deal with this Truth in my life.  Later that year, I received the Baptism of The Holy Spirit.  I was baptized in water at the age of 12, and FATHER was merciful toward me for the next eight years while I was groping around in ignorance.

Luke further recorded in Acts 1:

4  And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;

5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which The Father has put in His own authority.

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

10 And while they looked steadfastly toward Heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,

11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into Heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into Heaven.”

How many witnesses do you need to establish Truth?  Jesus was preparing the witnesses to receive The Holy Spirit Who has been given to us as a Gift!  You cannot earn a gift, simply accept it.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 11:

9  “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will Your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Jesus was preparing the disciples AND us to receive The Holy Spirit.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 1:

1  God, Who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed Heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of His glory and the Express Image of His Person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty On High,

8 But to the Son He says: “Your Throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.

9 You have Loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

Jesus sits at the Right Hand of FATHER and has taken His place as the Cosmic Ruler of the universe being King of kings, Lord of lords… Lord of all!  By His authority, He sent The Holy Spirit to the ekklesia, the called-out ones, known as His church.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 16:

7  But here’s the Truth: It’s to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away the Holy Spirit will not be released to you. But after I depart, I will send Him to you.

8 And when He comes, he will expose sin and prove that the world is wrong about God’s righteousness and His judgments.

Pursuing Holiness- Part 10

May 17th, 2024

Father’s Holiness was imparted not only to The Disciples at Pentecost, but HIS Holiness has been imparted to us as well when we receive the Baptism of The Holy Spirit!

Peter attested to this Truth when he recorded by The Holy Spirit in his 1st Epistle chapter 1:

13  So then, prepare your hearts and minds for action! Stay alert and fix your hope firmly on the marvelous grace that is coming to you. For when Jesus Christ is unveiled, a greater measure of grace will be released to you.

14 As God’s obedient children, never again shape your lives by the desires that you followed when you didn’t know better.

15 Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One Who called you.

16 For Scripture says: “You are to be Holy, because I am Holy.”

17 Since you call on HIM as Your Heavenly Father, the impartial Judge Who judges according to each one’s works, live each day with Holy awe and reverence throughout your time on earth.

True Holiness includes justice, mercy, Truth, and righteousness.  To be Holy is to be absolutely devoted to GOD in all that we do, demonstrating Who HE is to the world.  Holiness surrounds GOD’S Throne and we are seated with HIM in Heavenly places… we are set apart for GOD.

HIS Grace has imbedded Holiness into our lives, yet we are to make right choices and to yield to Christ and GOD’S Word as The Holy Spirit lives in us.  Holiness is not merely actions we perform, but what we absorb and manifest as we live our lives in GOD’S Presence.  Christ is our Holiness:

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 1:

30 For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now He is our God-given Wisdom, our virtue, our Holiness, and our redemption.

And Paul also wrote in Ephesians chapter 2:

4  But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His great Love with which He Loved us,

5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We have become a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny He has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, FATHER planned in advance (Psalm 139:16) our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it.

As we comprehend this revelation, we will walk in Holiness with a Supernatural boldness like that of the Disciples on and after the Day of Pentecost!

Pursuing Holiness- Part 9

May 16th, 2024

Father’s Holiness was imparted to The Disciples at Pentecost!

This year, the day of Pentecost falls on Sunday, May 19th.  It takes place 50 days after the day of Ascension.

When you and I have received the Baptism of The Holy Spirit, our spirit has Holiness inside of us at our core.  This is how The Holy Spirit is able to indwell in us without us physically perishing… thankfully!

When we are fully led by The Holy Spirit, we will walk in Supernatural boldness.  Our beloved Peter is an excellent example of this phenomenon.  He denied Christ three times before the Cross.  Only John attended the crucifixion.  Where were the other disciples?  They were in hiding because of fear and unbelief.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Luke chapter 24:

1  Very early that Sunday morning, the women made their way to the tomb, carrying the spices they had prepared. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Jesus’ mother Mary.

2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.

5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?

6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,

7 saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'”

8 And they remembered His words.

9 Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.

10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.

11 And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them. 12 But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.

Jesus told the disciples what would happen to Him yet they still marveled.  They saw the miracles firsthand, yet they still marveled.  Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 16:

16 Simon Peter answered Jesus and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.”

Peter had knowledge but was still lacking something.  After the resurrection, Jesus spent 40 days teaching the disciples concerning the Kingdom of GOD.  This was in preparation for Pentecost.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 1:

4  And being assembled together with them, Jesus commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;

On the day of Pentecost, Peter would experience a supernatural change in his character… boldness.
