As our soul becomes satisfied by the cleansing of HIS Word, we are enabled to move closer in our relationship with GOD. We must cleanse our soul through HIS Word.
It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 62:
1 Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.
2 He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
And in Psalm 63:
1 O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.
3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your Name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
We are to praise or celebrate, often with words and/or singing. It signifies giving honor and commendation to God. The term praise is closely related to the concept of worship and expressing adoration through spoken or musical means.
It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Chronicles chapter 5:
3 Therefore all the men of Israel assembled with the king at the feast, which was in the seventh month.
This was at the time of the fall feasts in late September. The first feast, Feast of Trumpets in 2025, will be observed from sunset on September 22nd to sunset on September 24th.
11 And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions),
12 and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets-
13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud,
14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.
Music ministers to the soul: either positive or negative. The world’s music ultimately leads toward decline and destruction. Ture praise and worship music exalts GOD for WHO HE is and what HE does.
The following is one such song that exalts Our Heavenly Father:
