Favor comes when you submit to authority. Great favor comes when you submit to the greatest authority. When your heart is right, you can be trusted to do what The Holy Spirit directs.
Who better to trust and submit to than The Holy Spirit? Those who submit to a Loving Heavenly Father will never be hurt by HIM.
Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 11:
11 “Let me ask you this: Do you know of any father who would give his son a snake on a plate when he asked for a serving of fish? Of course not! 12 Do you know of any father who would give his daughter a spider when she had asked for an egg? Of course not! 13 If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the perfect Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when His children ask Him.”
As you and I draw near to FATHER, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, we gain favor with people and in situations requiring solutions from Above. We walk in a greater aspect of Agape Love and become more productive resulting in the fruit of THE SPIRIT flourishing in our lives. Joy that overflows is one such example.
With favor comes freedom. Jesus released us from all bondage of our past so we no longer have to submit to the impulses of the flesh but instead they must submit to our commands as we walk according to The Holy Spirit. We are no longer blinded to that reality. This applies to our soul as well for our soul is meant to submit to our spirit.
What you supply with nourishment will determine its strength within you. What you place a yoke on will be under your command and serve you.
You now have the ability and power to walk in total favor in every situation for our Commander is above every authority as Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 1:
19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power 20 that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the Heavenly realm! 21 And now He is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming!
22 And He alone is the Leader and Source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ and has given Him the highest rank above all others.
As we realize this authority and submit to His authority, life permeates every aspect of our existence and death no longer prevails.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:
5 Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue Spiritual realities. 6 For the sense and reason of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace.
7 In fact, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights God’s plan and refuses to submit to His direction, because it cannot! 8 For no matter how hard they try, God finds no pleasure with those who are controlled by the flesh. 9 But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit. And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of Him.
10 Now Christ lives His life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, His life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God. 11 Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, He will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!
Jesus spoke in John 6:
63 “The Holy Spirit is the One who gives life, that which is of the natural realm is of no help. The words I speak to you are Spirit and life.”
The Holy Spirit promotes life and favor results from this reality. Expect favor to come your way as you walk by THE SPIRIT.
