Our defining moment is when we break free of the world and focus fully on the things Above.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:
1 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of Heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 2 Think about the things of Heaven, not the things of earth.
3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.
I choose not to write from circumstances but rather to write from revelation received by The Holy Spirit Who communicates the realities of Heaven. The things of this earth are but temporary so why should I dwell on them? I must set my sights on the realities of Heaven!
When you reach your defining moment, you will no longer be a victim of circumstances but an overcomer in Christ. We will begin to place demands on The Word since we belong to Christ and He wants us to command The Word to come to pass at a personal level. We have a covenant and should expect to benefit from it in every area that is covered within it. I CAN do all things in Christ Who strengthens me.
We are meant to make history while we are here. We are to spread the Good News to others as we get the opportunity to share. The Holy Spirit will draw those who are ready to hear this Good News and our mandate is to inform them. Jesus will change their hearts.
We are to continue and enforce The Word in our lives thus it requires us to “eat” The Word so that It becomes One with us. How can we enforce a covenant if we don’t know its terms and conditions?
In Colossians chapter 1:
15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
16 for through Him God created everything
in the Heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through Him and for Him.
17 He existed before anything else,
and He holds all creation together.
18 Christ is also the head of the church,
which is His body.
He is the beginning,
supreme over all who rise from the dead.
So He is first in everything.
19 For God in all His fullness
was pleased to live in Christ,
20 and through Him God reconciled
everything to Himself.
He made peace with everything in Heaven and on earth
by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.
21 This includes you who were once far away from God. You were His enemies, separated from Him by your evil thoughts and actions. 22 Yet now He has reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body. As a result, He has brought you into His own Presence, and you are Holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault.
23 But you must continue to believe this Truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.
As The Holy Spirit said, “Don’t drift away!”
