Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 11:
25 Then Jesus exclaimed, “Father, thank you, for you are Lord, the Supreme Ruler over heaven and earth! And you have hidden the great revelation of your authority from those who are proud and wise in their own eyes. Instead, you have shared it with these who humble themselves. 26 Yes, Father, your plan delights your heart, as you’ve chosen this way to extend your kingdom—by giving it to those who have become like trusting children. 27 You have entrusted me with all that you are and all that you have. No one fully and intimately knows the Son except the Father. And no one fully and intimately knows the Father except the Son. But the Son is able to unveil the Father to anyone he chooses.
28 “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. 29 Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. 30 For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”
In other words, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
We are to yield to the yoke Jesus speaks of in the above passage. When we yield to The Holy Spirit, we take something from the other realm and make it manifest in this realm. Think about it.
We need to be led, not driven as the world promotes. As for me, I purpose to do nothing until The Holy Spirit directs me to action rather than taking action and expecting FATHER to bless whatever I am doing. When I was driven, I assumed the opposite. I acted first based on my own intellect expecting FATHER to bless me. I was only as successful as the world’s odds of success. When I did respond to what The Holy Spirit was telling me, I was totally successful. Ultimately, I had to undo what the world taught me in order to be successful and it did not happen overnight.
It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm 16:
Lord, I have chosen you alone as my inheritance.
You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion.
I leave my destiny and its timing in your hands.
When we submit to The Holy Spirit, our destiny is assured as written in our book in Heaven (Psalm 139:16). We have fully accepted the easy yoke of walking with Jesus rather than the heavy yoke of the world. FATHER has an intended destiny for each of us. However, as I have said multiple times, the choice is ours. HIS Divine Intent of Love planned our destiny so we need not be concerned about the outcome.
Since we are made in HIS image, we had to be given free will so that we would have the ability to rule and reign with Jesus. You cannot rule if you don’t have the ability to decide. No one is forced to serve HIM and we have the option to choose our own path. Without choice, you cannot truly and unconditionally Love.
Destiny means that we have an intended destination. I want to see FATHER’S Glory fully revealed and that is one aspect of my destiny. I want to see the Face of MY FATHER and walk in HIS Glory. My intended destination was planned by FATHER and as I submit to The Holy Spirit, I will fulfill my destiny. Could you or I plan a better outcome than Our Heavenly Father’s plan? FATHER spoke in Jeremiah chapter 29:
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Our destiny is to not simply survive until we are taken up to Heaven. We should be ministering to others in whatever capacity we have been afforded by FATHER. Our focus should be fully aligned with The Holy Spirit at all times even when it is inconvenient.
Our true destiny is beyond our ability to fulfill because it has to be supernatural otherwise we would take credit for accomplishing what FATHER intended and put into motion. Our next step toward fulfillment is impossible for us to complete until we enter into the supernatural.
Our destiny is intricate by the very nature that FATHER designed it just as HE designed the entire universe. HE left nothing to chance in our designated path if we will constantly stay in the flow of The Holy Spirit. Don’t be surprised when certain people come into your life and impact it in a glorious way. We need to expect supernatural events to occur in our daily life so let our eyes be fully opened with great expectation.
