The Beloved Disciple wrote what he saw in The Revelation of Jesus Christ chapter 5:
6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals; For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made us kings (Lion anointing) and priests (Lamb anointing) to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
12 saying with a loud voice:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
The seven Spirits of God are the seven Spirits of Sonship! They are the seven-fold intensified Spirit of the LORD that rested upon the firstborn Son of God. The seven Spirits of Sonship are given to us by the prophet Isaiah who prophesied of God’s Christ, Head and body in chapter 11:
2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD,
And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,
Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor,
And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,
And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.
We will walk in these seven Spirits without measure and we will be fully led by THE SPIRIT and not rely on “the sight of our eyes or decide by the hearing of our ears”.
As the seven-fold intensified Spirit of THE LORD flows over the earth from the many-membered Body of Christ, there will be peace, joy, and blessing which will alter the attitudes and change personalities evoking a transformation of lives.
The various natures of men will be entirely transformed by the overwhelming grace and redeeming power. Men will live in Agape Love, righteousness, and peace which are currently beyond their understanding. They will shed the greed and selfishness of the past and finally realize the darkness they walked in was a complete lie and deception.
Let us not look back at past moves of THE SPIRIT which were only types and shadows of what is to come. Let us not underestimate the power and authority of the many-membered Body of Christ as The Revelation of Jesus Christ is communicating to us details of what lies ahead. Now is the time to expect the unexpected!
