Revelation 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.
13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Horses are used for war and the four horsemen of Revelation Chapter 6 portrayed conflict, war and destruction. These four were used in dealing with the overcomers. Now we have a whole army who have saddled up and ride behind their Commander, the KING of Kings. Heaven has now opened up to the lower reaches of creation. The harlot Mystery Babylon has been removed and it is now time to deal with the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies. Those who have submitted to the beast will now be overcome by the Love of FATHER in direct confrontation. The ego will now be fully destroyed in its influence over man.
Those who have enjoined themselves to Christ have followed the path to be faithful and true as well. Their faith has been perfected by Love and there hearts are now pure and true. There is no guile found in them. Just as the veil had to be removed from the overcomers, it is now time to remove the veil from the other inhabitants of the earth. They will no longer worship the created or exalt self-proclaimed kings of the earth. Those who were formerly worshipped as idols will be dashed against the rocks and ground to powder for they were used as vessels of dishonor to ready and mature the saints. Their time has come.
Jesus is described as having “eyes like a flame of fire”. The eyes of man were designed to receive light whereas Jesus’ eyes are transmitting light or revelation of the purifying Word. This description was given to us in the first chapter of Revelation:
13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.
14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;
16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
We first see Jesus among the seven churches (church realm) but now He is focused on the entire earth for all the earth will be filled with HIS Glory. Each of the dispensations represented by the three feast were a focus for Jesus Christ and His followers. Now that the Bride has been brought out from Mystery Babylon, the final war can be waged. The wheat harvest is complete, the final harvest is at hand. Mankind is about to receive the fullness of the revelation of Love from the One who has eyes like a flame of fire.
On His head were many crowns. Where did these crowns come from? We only need to refer back to Revelation chapter 4:
10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
11 “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”
I believe the “very elect” who are closest to the Throne provide the crowns of overcoming victory as now being depicted on the “head” of Jesus. He has the full authority to judge all mankind for they have come to the end of their appointed time. There was a name written no man knew even though Jesus was known by many names such as Immanuel, Son of man, Son of GOD, and over 200 other names. In Scripture, a name represented the character and nature of that person and in verse 11 He was called True and Faithful. Those following Him have also taken on these attributes. In Jesus’ case, the fullness of His character is beyond knowing except by FATHER:
Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
His robe dipped in blood denotes the ministry of the doves of His second coming and of everlasting peace. The “house” being cleansed of death in this case is the whole earth (Leviticus 14:5-7). This blood is a sign to all that FATHER will restore all to life and Jesus is fully victorious over death.
What a glorious scene to see Our Lord and His armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. They are not only members of the Bride of Christ without spot or wrinkle but were “elected” to take part in the ministry of reconciliation of all mankind. They have been endued with power and authority to minister life as well with the Commander-in-Chief leading them directly into battle. They have mounted the war horses of righteousness in full strength and will not be denied victory for they have been perfected in Love resulting in overcoming faith.
The Word of FATHER is that sharp two-edged sword and Jesus has this sword in His mouth. It will be used to circumcise the flesh from the heart once and for all. Death will no longer surround the heart and keep it from receiving the living Word of GOD. Men’s traditions will be removed and discarded and their manipulation and control will no longer impact the hearts and minds of men as before. The intent of men will now be exposed and judged accordingly:
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
If you will recall in Revelation 2:27, the rod of iron is associated with breaking up the vessels of dishonor (found in the corrupt church) in order to remold them into vessels of honor:
‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron;
They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’—
as I also have received from My Father;
Love does not waste anything! Jesus will tread the winepress to be assured that the fulfillment of the final harvest of Tabernacles will be complete. The fierceness of this act is an indication of the complete focus and attention to the fullness of the harvest. None will be allowed to escape this treading down of unrighteousness. All will be subjected to the “fiery” Word in order that a full and complete cleansing occurs and that my friend is a good thing.
On His robe and thigh are the words- KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. This white robe of righteousness is possessed and worn by the King of Kings. HE has overcome death and now leads mankind into victory. The emblem on the thigh speaks of “THE WAY”. This denotes a man’s walk and resulting actions of his intent. Jesus met all the tests and trials that would challenge His calling, His path was sure. This path became known as “The Way” as He spoke the Words in John chapter 14:
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”.
All attention is on the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
