In Hebrews Chapter 10, Paul links Love and action together:

If you want to become a great pianist what must you do? You must obtain a piano, take lessons, learn to read music, practice, practice, practice. You immerse yourself in the fullness of all aspects of the piano and train constantly. You live and breathe the piano. It becomes part of your daily life if you want to excel as a pianist.
Let us take thought of how to grow in Love AND good works. Immerse yourself in Scriptures that focus on Love. Read books that focus on Love. Do acts of Love. Dwell on Love. As you set your path to Love, goods works become part of your daily life. Love wants to give, encourage, and do good deeds. As you walk this path, people respond and are attracted to you. They realize that you consider theirs lives to be important. It is really that simple to positively impact others. As you Love, you are Loved. Do you want to be lawful? Walk in Love. After all, the Law is fulfilled by Love. This is the only long term answer to all of the issues of mankind. By Loving people and becoming the expression of Love, you are doing your part to bring the Kingdom to mankind.
