Believing And Trusting- Part 4

To walk in the Abrahamic Covenant, Holiness is required!

FATHER expects purity in our intent, so compromise and manipulation are unacceptable in HIS Sight.

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Leviticus chapter 10:

1 Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their respective [ceremonial] censers, put fire in them, placed incense on it and offered strange (unauthorized, unacceptable) fire before the LORD, [an act] which He had not commanded them to do.

2 And fire came out from the Presence of the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

3 Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD said: ‘I will be treated as Holy by those who approach Me, And before all the people I will be honored.’” So Aaron, therefore, said nothing.

4 Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel who was Aaron’s uncle, and said to them, “Come here, carry your relatives away from the front of the sanctuary and take them outside the camp.”

5 So they came forward and carried them, still in their undertunics, outside the camp, as Moses had said.

6 Then Moses said to Aaron and to his [younger] sons Eleazar and Ithamar, “Do not uncover your heads nor let your hair hang loose nor tear your clothes [as expressions of mourning], so that you will not die [also] and so that He will not express His wrath and anger toward all the congregation. But your relatives, the whole house of Israel, may mourn the burning which the LORD has brought about. 7 You shall not even go out of the doorway of the Tent of Meeting, or you will die; for the LORD’S anointing oil is upon you.” So they did [everything] according to the word of Moses.

FATHER does not allow compromise to enter into HIS Presence!  When you compromise, you manipulate, and that is unacceptable to FATHER.

8 Then the LORD spoke to Aaron, saying,

9 “Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, neither you nor your sons with you, when you come into the Tent of Meeting, so that you will not die—it is a permanent statute throughout your generations—

10 and to make a distinction and recognize a difference between the Holy (Sacred) and the common (profane), and between the [ceremonially] unclean and the clean;

11 and you are to teach the Israelites all the statutes which the LORD has spoken to them through Moses.”

Strange fire was from an unauthorized source, or incense was used that did not meet Divine specifications.

GOD’S Laws and requirement are not subject to modification by man!

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 119:

1 You’re only truly happy when you walk in total integrity, walking in the light of God’s Word.

2 What joy overwhelms everyone who keeps the Ways of God, those who seek Him as their heart’s passion!

3 They’ll never do what’s wrong but will always choose the Paths of the Lord.

4 God has prescribed the right way to live: obeying His Laws with all our hearts.

5 How I long for my life to bring you glory as I follow each and every one of your holy precepts!

6 Then I’ll never be ashamed, for I take strength from all Your Commandments.

7 I will give my thanks to You from a heart of Love and Truth. And every time I learn more of Your Righteous Judgments,

8 I will be faithful to all that Your Word reveals—so don’t ever give up on me!

Can you be faithful to The Word and support the world’s view?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

1 Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be His Sacred, living sacrifices. And live in Holiness, experiencing all that delights His Heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s Will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His Eyes.

Holiness does not allow for compromise.  Once you open the door to compromise, you will slowly proceed to walking in unrighteousness.  Is that the primary issue with many churches today?
