Responding Immediately
September 30, 2026 – 3:56 amGOD is raising up believers who respond immediately to the Voic of THE LORD!
Faithfulness is part of HIS character and we should place our complete trust IN HIM.
Wisdom spoke in Proverbs chapter 3:
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.
In my younger years, I suffered from analysis paralysis. Analysis paralysis is when you think through a decision so much that you struggle to make it. You may keep researching, comparing options, or worrying about the “perfect” choice until no choice gets made. What would have taken much less time and energy? Let The Holy Spirit direct the decision and not look back!
Wisdom also spoke in Proverbs chapter 16:
7 When the Lord is pleased with the decisions you’ve made, He activates grace to turn enemies into friends.
8 It is better to have little with a heart that Loves justice than to be rich and not have God on your side.
9 Within your heart you can make plans for your future, but the Lord chooses the steps you take to get there.
As we step out in faith, we know that FATHER will guide us every step of the way. Also, we must not allow ourselves to delay when HE instructs us to take certain steps.
James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 4:
13 Listen, those of you who are boasting, “Today or tomorrow we’ll go to another city and spend some time and go into business and make heaps of profit!”
14 But you don’t have a clue what tomorrow may bring. For your fleeting life is but a warm breath of air that is visible in the cold only for a moment and then vanishes!
15 Instead you should say, “Our tomorrows are in the Lord’s Hands and if He is willing we will live life to its fullest and do this or that.”
16 But here you are, boasting in your ignorance, for to be presumptuous about what you’ll do tomorrow is evil!
17 So if you know of an opportunity to do the right thing today, yet you refrain from doing it, you’re guilty of sin.
We must not allow ourselves to be presumptuous and second guess what FATHER’S next steps will be. We are to fully trust HIM daily!
It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Ecclesiastes chapter 1:
2 “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher. “Vanity of vanities! All [that is done without God’s guidance] is vanity [futile, meaningless—a wisp of smoke, a vapor that vanishes, merely chasing the wind].”
And in chapter 11:
4 He who watches the wind [waiting for all conditions to be perfect] will not sow [seed], and he who looks at the clouds will not reap [a harvest].
Don’t be caught up in analysis paralysis… seek THE LORD and let The Holy Spirit direct your steps daily.
