Hearing GOD’S Voice

You are meant to hear GOD’S Voice!

The ability to hear God’s voice and walk in a prophetic anointing is not reserved for a select few but is a gift available to every believer.  Your prophetic anointing is not a title but is a function of hearing GOD.

Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Numbers chapter 11:

24 So Moses went out and told the people the Words of the LORD, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle.

25 Then the LORD came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again.

26 But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad (GOD has Loved), and the name of the other Medad (Love). And the Spirit rested upon them. Now they were among those listed, but who had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp.

Those two received the same breakthrough as the seventy without being present.

27 And a young man ran and told Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”

28 So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said, “Moses my lord, forbid them!”

29 Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the LORD’s people were prophets and that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!”

Prophecy in the Old Testament, was the sign that the anointing was on a person.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 14:

1 Pursue Love, and desire Spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

The prophetic is the way that we function, the way that we see, it’s the way that we communicate to people.  It does not require to begin or end with “Thus sayeth THE LORD”.  If you give a timely Word in a given situation, it will bear fruit in their life and they in turn will give GOD the glory.

When we release the Word of THE LORD, It alters and changes environments and we are in a season where we need desperately prophetic people to bring clarity to what’s happening in the world.  Both the political spirit and the religious spirit are vying for your affections.

Whenever there’s influence from either of those two realms, the Word of THE LORD becomes diluted and distorted.  THE LORD is wanting a clear Word, a precise Word, an empowering Word to come to the cities and the nations of the world.

We are being lied to everyday of our life.  If you have anything to do with media, your being fed a bill of goods… every day.  Very little of it is intentional deception but instead, most of it is agenda driven.  When you are driven by an agenda that is wrong, you reinterpret circumstances incorrectly.

Both the political spirit and the religious spirit want to impart the gift of suspicion because that reinterprets circumstances and it causes a spirit of offense to rise up that mirrors the prophetic anointing.  You have a burning conviction, you have the sense that something needs to be done, something needs to be said, but not recognizing that the origin of the information is actually the spirit of deception!

Whatever you misdiagnose, you will mistreat.

We must recognize true anointing versus the counterfeit which is suspicious, it’s agenda driven, and it moves in the spirit of offense.  One of the biggest challenges in life is to not pick up offenses of the people you Love and serve.

Our effectiveness in serving people, loving them, and bringing forth the Word of THE LORD for their benefit, not ours, requires us to not pick up any offense that they may have.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Isaiah chapter 59:

21 “As for Me,” says the LORD, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit Who is upon you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the LORD, “from this time and forevermore.”

If is vital that from our mouth comes the Word of THE LORD!  Jesus set the standard when He said, “I only say what I hear My Father says”.

Hearing from God is not about striving, human effort, or trying to force a “Thundering Voice”.  Instead, it is a natural result of a lifestyle of surrendering to God’s Presence and thinking His Thoughts.

God places His Words in the mouths of believers so that they can partner with Him to “plant the heavens” and lay foundations on the earth. We are to use our tongue to build up, encourage, and call out the destiny in others.

Meditate The Word day and night, and you will speak the Words of fruitfulness from you time spent in The Word.
