Maintaining True Peace

Peace with GOD comes only through the Blood of Jesus Christ!

True peace only comes by having faith in GOD and fully trusting in the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians 4:

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

“The peace of God” is not merely the absence of trouble. It is an inner calm, confidence, and security that comes from trusting God. Circumstances may remain difficult, but God’s peace steadies the believer.

“Which surpasses all understanding” describes God’s peace which is beyond what human reasoning can explain.  It can exist during illness, financial hardship, grief, persecution, or uncertainty.  Others may wonder, “How can you remain calm in this situation?”  The answer is not human strength but God’s Presence and faithfulness.

“Will guard” is a The Greek word Paul uses is a military term meaning to stand guard, protect, or garrison.  Imagine soldiers stationed around a city to protect it from attack. God’s peace acts like a guard over the believer’s inner life.

Paul mentions both “Your hearts and your minds”.

Heart – emotions, desires, fears, affections.

Mind – thoughts, reasoning, worries, and anxieties.

God’s peace protects both emotional and mental well-being from being overwhelmed by fear and anxiety.

“In Christ Jesus”

This peace is found through a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is not generated by positive thinking or self-confidence, but by trusting the One Who is sovereign, Loving, and faithful.

Philippians 4:7 does not promise that God will immediately remove every problem. Instead, it promises that as you bring your concerns to Him, He will give Supernatural peace that protects your heart and mind while you walk through those circumstances.

When you give your worries to God, He gives you His peace—and that peace stands guard over your heart and mind, even when life doesn’t make sense.

There is no greater assurance than walking in the peace of GOD during the challenging times of tribulation.  The adversary would love to steal your peace, especially in these times of uncertainty around the world.  Why do you think that the media which is controlled by a few do not want the mentioning of the Name of Jesus Christ?  They know the power in HIS Name.

Paul states in Romans chapter 5, that the only way you are going to get peace with GOD is through faith.  The Blood of Christ is what gave us access to The Throne of GOD were true peace is found.  We did not earn this Eternal gift.  Attempting to earn it is a form of rejection of the intent of The Giver.

GOD went through incredible extremes to make reconciliation possible to each of us!  We cannot overemphasize the importance of The Blood of Christ!  There is nothing we can add to this Eternal gift.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 2:

6 In the same way you received Jesus our Lord and Messiah by faith, continue your journey of faith, progressing further into your union with Him!

7 Your Spiritual roots go deeply into His Life as you are continually infused with strength, encouraged in every way. For you are established in the faith you have absorbed and enriched by your devotion to Him!

8 Beware that no one distracts you or intimidates you in their attempt to lead you away from Christ’s fullness by pretending to be full of Wisdom when they’re filled with endless arguments of human logic. For they operate with humanistic and clouded judgments based on the mindset of this world system, and not the anointed Truths of the Anointed One.

We should beware of anyone who minimizes, understates, or deemphasizes the importance of the Blood of Christ.  They will attempt to steal your peace with their worldliness.  The Blood of Christ is central to our Eternal Life.
