We continue to help Kids In Need even though we don’t share as many testimonies as we could. Our latest program is to provide beef to those families in dire need. As you know, meat prices have skyrocketed and many families simply can’t afford the meat, especially quality meat.
We have secured freezer space at the school we support and we are stocking it with grass-fed beef from a local family-owned ranch that has a 100 year history of raising cattle. They support our effort.
Food insecurity is the issue. When our school contact handed out beef, the families cried. They had no meat to feed their kids. We remedied that. The school contact wept with them.
We have made arrangements for the high school principal to continue distributing beef over the summer break. After all, hunger does not take a summer break!
