Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 19:
41 Now as Jesus drew near to Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it,
42 saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side,
44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”
45 Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it,
46 saying to them, “It is written, ‘My House is a House of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.‘”
Jesus prophesied of the destruction of not only the temple, but the city of Jerusalem. This occurred 38 years later as mentioned in a previous writing. It is interesting that this is about the same period that the children of Israel sojourned in the wilderness where those who walked in unbelief died there. The number 38 represents judgment and its fulfillment.
Jesus also judged that the temple went from a House of prayer to a house of greed by merchandizing.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 11:
25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. NKJV
FATHER is not interested in man’s opinion that attempts to replace HIS Word!
Another translation provides clarification to “the fullness”:
25 My Beloved brothers and sisters, I want to share with you a mystery concerning Israel’s future. For understanding this mystery will keep you from thinking you already know everything. A partial and temporary hardening to the Gospel has come over Israel, which will last until the full number of non-Jews has come into God’s Family. TPT
This is a critical point to understand. FATHER has a specific number that represents the fullness. When that number is reached, it is reasonable to conclude that the harpazo will occur. We will ultimately see if this conclusion is accurate.
Paul continues:
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness (the evil one) from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.”
Paul affirms that Israel will be saved apart from the Church.
28 Now, many of the Jews are opposed to the Gospel, but their opposition has opened the door of the Gospel to you who are not Jewish. Yet they are still greatly Loved by God because their ancestors were Divinely chosen to be His.
29 And when God chooses someone and graciously imparts gifts to him, they are never rescinded.
This is a great comfort to you and me. FATHER keeps HIS Word and Divine Intent toward us. If you are not operating in your gifts and calling, repent!
