The Throne On Earth

The Throne of Our Lord Jesus Christ will reside here on earth as prophesied!

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Luke chapter 1:

26  Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,

27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.

28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”

29 But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was.

30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.

32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and The Lord God will give Him the Throne of His ancestor David.

33  He will reign as King of Israel forever, and His reign will have no limit.”

At Christmas time, this passage is often quoted but not in context with Revelation chapter 4.  Gabriel prophesied of Jesus as the Alpha and Omega of the earthly Kingdom to come.  This is within His reality as the Alpha and Omega in the Spiritual realm since He was with FATHER before the foundation of physical matter was formed.

FYI: The throne of David did not exist during the earthly ministry of Jesus.

Jesus spoke to His Jewish disciples in Matthew chapter 19:

28 Jesus responded, “Listen to the Truth: In the age of the restoration of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious Throne, you who have followed me will have twelve thrones of your own, and you will govern the twelve tribes of Israel.

Notice that the disciples were to govern the tribes of Israel, not other believers.  These are not the same thrones of the elders found in the Throne Room of Heaven.

In chapter 25 of Matthew, Jesus speaks of when He will judge all nations here on earth:

Matthew 25:

31  “When the Son of Man comes in His Glory, and all the Holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the Throne of His Glory.

There should be no doubt where this Throne is located and when Jesus will be seated on His own Throne.

32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then the King will say to those on His Right Hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food;

I was thirsty and you gave Me drink;

I was a stranger and you took Me in;

36 I was naked and you clothed Me;

I was sick and you visited Me;

I was in prison and you came to Me.’

These were the works separating the sheep from the goats.  Your contributions satisfy three of these: hunger, thirst, and nakedness.  There is a seventh work to be considered: ministering salvation.

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?

38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?

39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’

40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.

41 “Then He will also say to those on the Left Hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;

43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’

46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into Eternal Life.”

The goats are self-centered whereas the sheep are Christ-centered.  When judgment of our works comes, there will be no negotiation after the fact.  Everyone will experience THE FEAR OF THE LORD!
