Two Global Currencies

The world is moving to two global currencies:  Gold and SDR’s.  The value of SDR’s (Special Drawing Rights) is determined by a weighted basket of currencies and is accounted for by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).  The U.S. Dollar is expected to become more of a regional currency like the Euro and Yen.  Gold has an absolute value whereas the SDR has a relative value, sort of like Divine Nature versus human nature.

The crisis is deepening:

1. PIIGS  (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, Spain)

2. States

“The mire facing California, for example, makes Greece’s woes look somewhat manageable. California, staring at a $20 billion budget gap over the next 17 months, accounts for about 13 percent of the U.S. economy. California, New York, Michigan, and 37 other states are all facing serious fiscal shortfalls.  They are trying to increase taxes in an election year so you can imagine how this will turn out.  Municipal bonds of many municipalities will be downgraded, possibly forcing bankruptcy at the municipal level.  Once a few take the path and dilute the stigma of bankruptcy, many will follow.

3. Federal Deficit

The U.S. is on an unsustainable course with deficits rising, the national debt soaring, and Social Security and Medicare preparing to go bust. At 10 percent of gross domestic product, the $1.6 trillion budget deficit for 2010 forecast by the Obama administration ranks as the highest such ratio since World War II.   The administration predicts that this ratio will fall to about 4 percent by 2015.  Who are they kidding?  Debt is expected to climb to 77 percent of gross domestic product by 2019, according to Moody’s.  I wonder what the worst case scenario might be?

3.  Unemployment

There were 6.1 unemployed workers in December, on average, for every available position, according to Labor Department data released Tuesday.  That’s a sharp increase from 3.4 jobless workers per opening in December of 2008, and much worse than the 1.7 unemployed people per opening in December 2007, when the recession began.  This number does not count the students who are looking for a job but unable to find one since older, more mature unemployed workers are snatching up those positions normally filled by students.  Is this a better job picture?

4.  Home Equity

More than a fifth of U.S. homeowners owed more than their properties were worth in the fourth quarter as the number of houses and condominiums lost to foreclosure climbed to a record, according to Zillow.com.  Bank sales of foreclosed properties accounted for a fifth of all U.S. home sales in December, Zillow said. Such transactions made up 68 percent of sales in Merced, California; 64 percent in the Las Vegas area; and 62 percent in Modesto, California, the company said.  When you see your largest asset dwindle in value, what makes the government think that you are going to go on a shopping spree and initiate a recovery?  See:   http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=at6VKvccpCzs

5.  Iran

With the complexities of the issues around the world and the growing globalization that eliminates the protective economic walls around countries, Our Heavenly Father is the only one who can truly get us out of this mess.  World leaders would have to be in one accord as well as their citizens to navigate out of this monetary and fiscal crisis that just won’t go away.  The banksters have finally crossed the rubicon and have no way to undo the damage they caused over the last few decades.  The average citizen does not want to pay for what the wealthy and privileged have done.  Most of the population operates on the assumption of “entitlement” even if they are only entitled to water at the local stream.  Who is personally willing to give up any hard earned assets or access so that the wealthy can escape this crisis?

The only true solution is for Our Heavenly Father raise up HIS elect to solve these problems by hearing HIS voice and only acting according to HIS Word.  Otherwise, we’re toast!

The (E)scape goat

The remission of sin was externalized in the Old Testament.  The High Priest conducted ceremonies to cleanse the people of their sin.  However, this only lasted up to one year and the process was repeated.  This process was a well documented type and shadow of what Jesus would have to do as the perfect sacrifice.

Not only was Jesus sacrificed as a lamb at the end of His earthly ministry, He was the scapegoat at the beginning.  Jesus fulfilled the required sacrifices of the Law that Our Heavenly Father had established to deal with the sins and transgressions of the people.  The Book of Leviticus provides us with detail:

Leviticus 16:21   "Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, concerning all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man.

Leviticus 16:22   "The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to an uninhabited land; and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.  NKJV

There were three types of conditions that had to be addressed:  iniquities (guilt), transgressions (rebellion against), and sins (to miss or err from the mark).  Rebellious behavior is the deliberate disobeying of someone in authority.  Aaron had to lay both of his hands on the head of the goat denoting where these conditions existed- in the mind of man.  Annually, man’s mind was to be renewed by this ceremony.  On the other hand, Jesus being the perfect sacrifice provided us the means to deal with these conditions on a permanent basis.  The Apostle Paul exhorts us to walk accordingly:

Romans 12:2   And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  KJV

Once these conditions of man were transferred to the goat, the goat was then led into the wilderness by a “fit” man.  Later, Jesus would be led into the wilderness by the Most Holy Spirit thus fulfilling the “scapegoat” requirement as well.  This was to occur before His ministry began.  In Matthew 4 , the devil tempted Jesus to succumb to the ego enticing Him with acts of rebellion and sin resulting in guilt, the very things transferred to the goat by Aaron.  Toward the end of His ministry, Jesus would refer to the goat:

Matthew 25:32-46

"All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

"And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

"Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

‘for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;

‘I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

"Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?

‘When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?

‘Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’

"And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

"Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

‘for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;

‘I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

"Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’

"Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’

"And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Our Heavenly Father’s right hand always represents mercy whereas His left hand always denotes judgment.  This Scripture has been interpreted in the past to  indicate that some men would be sent to hell forever.  This is not the case.  Our Heavenly Father ultimately reconciles all men unto Him, not just a few.  “Creation’s Jubilee” by Stephen Jones at http://www.gods-kingdom-ministries.org/book_list.cfm provides all the detail of reconciliation of ALL mankind.

Since this parable of sheep and goats is not about men, what is it about?  It is about the two conditions of a man.  The sheep hear their Father’s voice and the goats listen to their own ego.  Love feeds the hungry, gives drink to the thirsty, shelter to the stranger, clothing to the naked, healing to the sick, and comfort to the imprisoned.  The ego would say that these men in need should “get it together” and not bother me with your need of my resources.  Until you can be led into the wilderness and pass the “ego” test, your anointing will not reach its potential.

Testimony: To bear witness

Prophets throughout history had the responsibility to bear witness to mankind of what Our Heavenly Father planned to do on earth.  In the Heavenly Courts, each of us has the responsibility to bear witness “under oath” and provide the truth and the facts as evidence of our right to defend ourselves against spiritual attacks.  Spiritual attacks precede physical attacks for the higher realm of Heaven precedes the lower physical realm.  Jesus understood this law and thus had command of the physical realm because HE operated in the Heavenly realm and was fully compliant of the legal requirements in the Heavenly Court.  With this understanding HE was able to satisfy the Law requiring a perfect blood sacrifice for the sins of the world.

A witness brings forth a testimony.  The definition of testimony:

  • a solemn statement made under oath
  • an assertion offering firsthand authentication of a fact; "according to his own testimony he can’t do it"
  • something that serves as evidence; "his effort was testimony to his devotion"

    • The first use of “testimony” was used to describe the Ark of the Covenant in Exodus 16:34-

    Exodus 16:32   Then Moses said, "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: ‘Fill an omer with it, to be kept for your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.’"

    Exodus 16:33   And Moses said to Aaron, "Take a pot and put an omer of manna in it, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations."

    Exodus 16:34   As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.  NKJV

    The Ark of the Covenant was a “testimony” of the Law (the tablets), the Authority (Aaron’s rod), and the giving of life or provision (the omer of manna).  The contents were to be a reminder to the people of the commitment made by Our Heavenly Father and this was to be a testimony for future generations.  This manna was the only manna to survive more than two days.  In Exodus 25, Our Heavenly Father told Moses:

    "You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you, And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.”

    The Lawgiver gave Moses the Commandments and Statutes to live by with the “testimony” of HIS power, authority, and provision as credible witnesses.  The Holy of Holies where the Ark was kept, acted as a temporal, earthly version of the “Throne of Grace”.  Just as the high priest had to be cleansed before entering into this chamber of this highest court where the Presence of GOD was manifested, so we must enter into the Heavenly Court cleansed by the Blood of Jesus Christ.  We must remit our sins under the Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ and we do this in HIS Name, Amen!  Without first being cleansed of our sins, we have no right to stand in the presence of Our Heavenly Father to bear witness of our Heavenly case and provide testimony supporting our reasons to have the Heavenly Court judge our accusers and adversaries.

    In order for us to effectively win the spiritual battles that confront us, we must understand the basics of the Heavenly Court system and our rights to confront our adversaries and challenge their power and authority.  If we fail to show up for our “court case”, the adversary will receive a favorable judgment by default.  We have the responsibility to testify and bear witness of the Word Of GOD in our hearts and to go boldly to the Throne of Grace.  When lawlessness confronts us, we must present our case to Our Heavenly Father so that HE can lawfully execute righteous judgment on our behalf, first in the Heavenly realm, then the earthly realm.  When persistent, adverse, and unusual circumstances plague you or your loved ones, you would be well advised to bring your case before Our Heavenly Father and exercise your legal rights as a saint of the Most High GOD.

    What is a Witness?

    Deuteronomy 19:15   One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.  KJV

    The word “witness” comes from a root word meaning:

    1) to return, repeat, go about, do again

    a) (Piel) to surround, go round and round

    b) (Pilel) to restore, relieve

    c) (Hithpalel) to be restored

    2) to bear witness

    a) (Qal) to bear witness, say again and again

    b) (Hiphil)

    1) to testify, bear witness

    2) to cause to testify, take or call as witness, invoke

    3) to protest, affirm solemnly, warn, exhort or enjoin solemnly, admonish, charge

    c) (Hophal) to protest, give warning

    The purpose of a witness is to restore a person or something to the original state prior to an act of lawlessness.  The witness bears the responsibility to convey the truth of a matter based on direct observation of a fact or event.  The witness must swear to his statements that they are both true and accurate which effectively forces the witness to focus his every word before making any statement.

    Being a witness is a solemn responsibility.  Judgment and restitution are based on the words of all witnesses to the lawless acts therefore the witnesses must be tested for their credibility.  As ninth of the Ten Commandments, we are commanded against bearing false witness against our neighbor.  This Commandment requires us to make no false statements or misrepresentations against anyone.  Practicing deception is a treacherous act and brings forth judgment on the witness.

    Exodus 23:1   Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.  KJV

    This command by Our Heavenly Father is tied to the third of the Ten Commandments:

    Exodus 20:7   Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

    When the witness “swears” that he will tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, he is swearing before the GOD of Heaven and accepts the consequences of judgment if he is found to bring forth a false report.  This judgment will bring forth death and destruction.  Over the course of my life, I have seen this reality occur several times as men bear false witness against Our Heavenly Father’s Sons.  Sickness, disease, and death have been included in the judgments due to the person bearing false witness against a child of GOD.  The following provides the statute of bearing false witness, the witness will “bear the iniquity” or the judgment of the very sin that the defendant was accused of:

    Leviticus 5:1   And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and [is] a witness, whether he hath seen or known [of it]; if he do not utter [it], then he shall bear his iniquity.

    Our Heavenly Father operates Heaven based on Truth and is very serious about the truth being presented in court:

    Exodus 23: 2-3   "You shall not follow the masses in doing evil, nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after a multitude in order to pervert justice, nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his dispute.  NASB

    In the more severe cases, judgment and restitution require two or three witnesses as stated in Deuteronomy 19:15.  The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit provide the minimum witness count for the oversight of all of creation.  Three witnesses provide a three dimensional view (length, width, depth) for the Judge to issue a righteous verdict.  Because the witness has the power to impact the accused for the rest of his life, Our Heavenly Father warns us of the consequences of bearing false witness:

    Deuteronomy 19:16-21

    "If a false witness rises against any man to testify against him of wrongdoing,

    "then both men in the controversy shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges who serve in those days.

    "And the judges shall make careful inquiry, and indeed, if the witness is a false witness, who has testified falsely against his brother,

    "then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother; so you shall put away the evil from among you.

    "And those who remain shall hear and fear, and hereafter they shall not again commit such evil among you.

    "Your eye shall not pity: life shall be for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

    Why would I spend the time in explaining this aspect of Law?  If we are to rule and reign in the coming age, we must not be ignorant of the Law and the ramifications of administering the Law.  Our Heavenly Father clearly expects righteous witnesses of HIS WORD going forth.  In the Heavenly Court System, we are called to be witnesses and our credibility will be tested.  The adversary will attempt to misrepresent our actions and our words (or lack of words) in order to cause us havoc in our lives as we walk out our calling.  We must know what our legal rights are when we defend ourselves in Heavenly Court.  Pleading the Blood of Jesus Christ is a pre-trial requirement for us as we go before the Court.  Since the Heavenly Court is not restricted to the time continuum, the Blood of Christ is retroactive to all historical sin thus all sin is wiped away and our slates are clean.  This prevents the adversary from using a previous sin in his attempt to get a Court ruling against us and thereby legally evoking “restitution” or judgments against us.  Now you have an idea why bad things can happen to “good” people, they were ignorant of their legal rights in the Heavenly Court system.

    Spiritual Warfare: Confronting the adversary

    Throughout Scripture, there are many examples of disputes and lawlessness being settled by a righteous means.  The average Christian is not taught how to represent himself in the Heavenly Court system.  Our Heavenly Father is the Lawgiver so don’t you think HE would want you to understand how to defend yourself against the wiles of the devil?  We are called to put on the whole armor of GOD and yet the ministry has failed to equip us on legal matters that must be dealt with in the Heavenly Court system.  Persistent issues that have plagued many Christians are due to this lack of understanding about their legal rights in spiritual matters.  The Old Testament is filled with judgments that would appear harsh to many.  Persistent lawlessness required restitution by the Heavenly Court.

    There are three levels of Divine Authority where legal cases are heard:

    The Throne of Grace (Highest Authority)

    Hebrews  4:16   Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.  NKJV

    The Divine Court

    Daniel 7:26   ‘But the court shall be seated, And they shall take away his dominion, To consume and destroy it forever.  NKJV

    But the court will convene, 1 and his ruling authority will be removed – destroyed and abolished forever!  NET

    The Holy Sanhedrin (Lowest Authority)

    Numbers 11:16   So the LORD said to Moses: "Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you.

    Numbers 11:25   And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that [was] upon him, and gave [it] unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, [that], when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease

    Revelation 4:4   Around the throne were twenty–four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty–four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.

    These twenty four members of the heavenly Sanhedrin or court were seated on thrones around the throne of God

    Credible witnesses are hard to come by on this earth as lawlessness has infiltrated the thinking of society.  All one has to do is simply drive to the local mall and en route simply observe the traffic laws being violated.  Even the police will not enforce those laws if inconvenienced.  Misuse of the tithe law has brought bankruptcy to the church and those in authority will account for those abuses in the Heavenly Court.

    Notice that the Throne of Grace is mentioned in the New Testament.  Once Jesus went to the Cross, this Heavenly Court became accessible to us as we now have an advocate in Jesus Christ and His Blood.  I suspect as we move forward in these tumultuous times, the Court Hearings will increase dramatically.

    As you pray and seek guidance, the Heavenly Court system is guided by Love, grace, and mercy, and Our Heavenly Father by His Most Holy Spirit will guide you to the correct venue to present your case.  Jesus Christ, your Advocate, will be with you as your case is heard.  Each witness you reference should be credible for the background of the witness is considered as well.  Our Heavenly Father established the notion of justice when HE established the Law.  Man’s law has become a harsh taskmaster manipulated by those in authority.  The Heavenly System is righteous, allows for mercy, and has full access to the truth and facts.  Which system would you prefer to hear your case?

    Lawlessness, Idol Worship, and the Shedding of Blood

    Men have come to believe that they are entitled to blessing without any accountability of their actions.  This self-righteous attitude is not overlooked in Heaven.  Men have continued to pursue lawlessness in reckless abandon without regard to the ramifications of judgment.  At 12:22PM on January 31st, 2010, Our Heavenly Father initiated a warning to the current system:

    “Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

    And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, [and] so great.

    And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.”

    Our Heavenly Father indicated that thing were going to get “tough” and we should prepare our children and those who would listen for the times ahead.  As you know, my focus has been on “Love” and not on the prophetic.  However, this is what is on THE LORD’S mind.  Love warns us of impending severe events so that we can make our preparations.  Just as a hurricane approached the beach community in Alabama and the skies were clear and blue with only a distant shadow of clouds in the distance, the destruction was headed their way.  The watchmen were tasked with alerting the people of the severity of the hurricane.  Those who prepared were spared.

    Though with great sadness and compassion for the people, Haiti is a sign of things to come.  Known as the poorest nation on earth, Haiti represents the wealthy who have put their trust in their riches and idols but who really destitute of the true riches.  As we continue to see the death and destruction in this small island, you are warned that this is a microcosm of the big picture.

    Expect the earthquake soon.   How soon?  I was not told for “soon” to Our Heavenly Father may mean months or years rather than days or weeks.  You can be sure that when a warning is issued, the event is on the horizon just as the clouds of the hurricane become visible before landfall providing the initial notification.

    You have been warned.

    The Achilles Heal of Investing

    Warning!  This may be somewhat complex but it is important to understand the big picture: complexity  and formulas exploit the masses.

    In the stock market as well as the commodities market, the current problem is that there are so-called technical analysis “experts”.  These people are guided in their investment decision-making by technical chart patterns. These patterns or “signs” have become a mini-industry of the brokerage firms to suck unsuspecting, intelligent people with a PC and an Internet connection into investing in an arena of sharks.  There are hundreds of technical indicators that have all at one time or another led people to believe that they were the “Holy Grail” of generating huge profits.  The huge profits were made by authors who sold the formula in newsletters or books, PC programmers/investors, and the brokerage houses that handled the trades.  It has been estimated that 95% of the technical traders lose money.  The big boys simply and quietly say “thank you”.  Have you ever noticed the huge trading volumes in recent years?

    This reality is the reason the Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase can achieve such profits with relatively little cash targeting strategic price levels and times.  Their tremendous treasuries allow them to “paint” charts giving the illusion to the technical traders that it is time to buy (or sell) the investment target.  By creating the illusion with the use of tremendous computing power and investing capability, they use the emotions of the traders to their benefit.  Once they create the perception that the stock is getting ready to make a move, then the usual group of “experts” tell us why something is moving on the chart when more often than not, the action on the chart is in contradiction to the fundamentals of the underlying investment value.  The emotion of fear kicks in and the trader dumps his position and takes a loss.

    Short term technical patterns will always overrule longer term fundamentals due to the amount of money at stake. Undercapitalized traders cannot afford to let a position move against them for any period of time. Margin calls (A broker’s demand on an investor using margin to deposit additional money or securities so that the margin account is brought up to the minimum maintenance margin. Margin calls occur when your account value depresses to a value calculated by the broker’s particular formula) dictate how much capital an investor can lose before they must abandon their position.  This reinforces the technical move and this continues until the bigger, well capitalized, long term fundamentalists move in and put an end to the technical play. It happens repeatedly in markets and always will as long as the current system exists. This is the reason that fortunes are made in the markets and why only a few succeed. Only those who actually understand the markets and realities of the big players’ manipulation will reap the big profits as well.  The regulators either don’t know how to identify this manipulation or don’t care to address it.

    This last week, the US dollar has gained in strength sending gold downward.  Do you really think that with the massive creation of US dollars that it is the investment of choice.  The charts and technical indicators say “Yes” but the fundamentals scream “NO”!  The boys are at it again.  Management by Perception and public apathy is alive and well in the US.  As long as we are promised to by taken care of and receive some more tax credits, everything will be OK.  In a previous post, I directed you to the youtube presentation of exponential curves and their ramification on society.  We are crippling the next generation with a crushing burden of exponential debt and at some point it becomes mathematically impossible to realistically pay it back. All that is left becomes either a default or a currency devaluation.  The interest alone will become unsustainable.

    The borrower (on margin) is servant to the lender.  The sharks will continue to sucker the technical traders in releasing their wealth to them.  Once again, the ego will cause you to give up hard earned cash in quest of being that one trader who finally uncovers the “Holy Grail” of technical indicators.  Faster computers, newly developed technical indicators, more complex environments will not make you money over the long run.  The best way to trade is to be still, listen to Our Heavenly Father who is well aware of the entire picture, then act if and when HE says to invest.

    The Law of Sowing and Reaping

    Galatians 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

    Most people do not understand the brevity of this law.  Jesus and Paul used this law extensively to explain the ramifications of sin, death, and destruction.  The whole Law and the Prophets point toward this reality:

    Matthew 7:12  Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. NKJV

    Think about it.  Everyday you sow seeds of some type- good or bad, blessing or cursing, joy or sorrow.  You need to assess your daily walk and ask Our Heavenly Father to show you those seeds you have planted.  Are you sowing seeds of pessimism, cynicism, or judgment?

    Galatians 6:8   For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

    Galatians 6:9  And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

    “Doing good” and continuous sowing will take time and resources.  Paul urges us to be patient and not grow weary or lose heart.  Our patience will be tested with tribulation and those who have placed self-interest above the call to minister life will go by the wayside in failure.  Our gifts and calling empower to go forth and fulfill our destiny, no matter what the circumstances.  As we navigate through this life with the Holy Spirit as our compass, we will arrive on the other side full of testimonies of how Our Heavenly Father delivered through the trials and tribulations perfecting our walk.  The adversary is out there challenging our walk but without the power that he held when he tempted Jesus.  The blood of Jesus Christ now provides a protective barrier to the wiles of the devil.  Humanistic thinking has pushed many to forget the power of the Holy Spirit to the point of dormancy.  The Holy Spirit is as important now as ever before.  Men’s abuse of the power under the Pentecostal anointing has been a deterrent to those who have been negatively affected by this abuse thus in their own minds attempted to disassociate with the ministry of the Holy Spirit.  It appears that the gifts of The Spirit have been de-emphasized to the point of non-use by those who are pursuing the Tabernacles anointing.  GOD forbid, for Paul spake in tongues more than you all!  Aren’t we after the full package?  Jesus operated with the full use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit so why should we fail to pursue these gifts that we might more effectively minister to those in need?

    If you want to walk in the Spirit, you must submit to the Spirit and sow in the Spirit.  If we seek the Gift Giver we will receive gifts to operate in.  What is a gift for?  To consume upon oneself?  Is there such a short supply of Heavenly gifts that we must hide those gifts under a bushel?  Where is your boldness in The LORD?  The gifts of the Holy Spirit are listed just prior to Paul’s writing on Love.  The gifts will operate and flourish in your life as you sow Love.  As you pursue this walk you will walk worthy of the Lord being fruitful in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of GOD, strengthened with all might according to HIS glorious power unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness!

    People sit around and wait for blessing to arrive on their doorstep.  The law of sowing and reaping demands that the seed be planted and watered before you can expect a harvest.  What seeds are you planting?

    Embrace Change

    One of the biggest challenges to growth is our unwillingness to change, especially has we grow older.  As I have written about the coming, sustained volatility you can expect to live in a fluctuating environment where all of your assumptions will be tested.  Those who adapt to rapid change will not only survive but will flourish.  Others will simply die a slow death.  Jesus always supported life and the living and those are attributes of growth and change.  His earthly ministry produced sudden change and shifted the thinking of those who had ears to hear and eyes to see.

    The children of Israel were stuck in Egypt as slaves “doing their time” in the “cursed” time cycle.  Daily life was pretty well lined out for them.  Then suddenly Our Heavenly Father delivered them out of Egypt.  They were thrust into the wilderness without the ability to sustain themselves for they had no infrastructure, only The Word of THE LORD.  Promptly, THE LORD provided the necessities of food and water, heating and cooling, and THE LAW to live by.  They had operated under man’s law based on fear but now they were going to operate by Heaven’s standard of faith.  Change was dramatic.  They were birthed out of Egypt just as a baby leaves the warmth of the womb.  Yes, they cried as well.

    We are embarking on a time of change.  The current system is being held together by duct tape.  MacGyver is gone and the duct tape is beginning to deteriorate.  We have been taught the message of “Faith” for hundreds of years and faith will be required as massive change takes place.  Those who resist change can be compared to the children of Israel who wanted to return to Egypt when things became difficult.  Perhaps the greatest difficulty will come when some family members fail to embrace change.

    With change will come revelation to those who are called to minister and they will be equipped to deal with the issues that arise as a result of the various aspects of change.  The path to greater revelation may seem lonely at times but the Holy Spirit will comfort those who need assurance and confirmation that they are indeed on the right path.  On the other hand, those who resist change will suffer as the winds of change are sometimes violent by nature and volatility will be common during the transition.  Romans 12 remind us, “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer”.

    Paul clearly states that we must be patient in tribulation (suffering) therefore expect some suffering to occur.  Many Christians hope they won’t have to endure suffering during the Great Tribulation but just as the children of Israel were surely affected by the cries of death at Passover, we too will be affected by the suffering of those who have been caught up in lawlessness and sin.  This is where we must let patience have its perfect work and know that Our Heavenly Father does and allows everything to move each of us to a point of reconciliation with HIM.  Our short term view of the big picture pales in comparison to HIS overall plan of redemption of mankind.  We must trust that all change is initiated by Our Heavenly Father and based on HIS never-ending Love for each of us, no matter what condition we are in.

    These times will require us to be “instant in prayer”.  The word “instant” means:

    1) to adhere to one, be his adherent, to be devoted or constant to one

    2) to be steadfastly attentive unto, to give unremitting care to a thing

    3) to continue all the time in a place

    4) to persevere and not to faint

    5) to show one’s self courageous for

    6) to be in constant readiness for one, wait on constantly

    It will be crucial for us to communicate with Our Heavenly Father and I would suggest listening over petitioning.  HE knows our every need and has a complete understanding of ALL things whereas our own limitations are so great, we are at risk of asking amiss.  We are encouraged to “wait on THE LORD”:

    Psalm 27:14   Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

    I’ve got a feeling that our hearts shall soon need strengthened!

    America’s Coming Super Depression

    The title should tweak your interest, it did mine.  I receive a few  Christian monthly newsletters by mail.  In recent years I must confess that many of them were not personally relevant to me but nonetheless I scan the newsletters for topics of interest.  Last Thursday morning (early) I opened one newsletter and this was the first article, “America’s Coming Super Depression”.  The writer had a prophetic dream in early 2009 and in it, he was speaking to a financial expert who told him in mid-August of 2010, wheels would be put into motion to abandon the US dollar.  After this, everything was going to change!  On August 15, 2009, he had a confirming dream.  In the second dream, he found himself at a food court in a shopping mall.  The only restaurant still open was labeled “School Cafeteria”.  The food should be cheap, maybe $2 for a meal, but a plate of food was $30.  He protested and walked out and suddenly a Chinese restaurant appeared.  He ordered coffee and the Chinese waiter said “Coffee – $10”.  Again he was shocked and angry that it cost so much money and walked away.   The dream ended.  In a third dream, he was hungry and was in the cafeteria of an actual school.  All of the other people in line were adults.  “What is the special?” he inquired.  “It’s Thanksgiving dinner.  It is five meals for $99 and if you want that price, you need five people in your group”.  He protested.  The dream was over.

    I must admit that after reading this, I wasn’t sure if I was to react to it.  After all, I have heard hundreds, maybe thousands, of prophetic words over the years.  Christian TV has had prophecy teachers proclaiming the demise of most every nation for years.  However, this time is different.  Two hours after I read this newsletter, my lovely wife awoke and came into the office and greeted me with a question, “What?’  She explained that she just had a dream where she and I were in a Chinese restaurant having dinner.  I leaned over to her and said, “There’s something I want to tell you, guess what?”.  She awoke and The Lord told her to ask me “What?”.  I showed her the article in the newsletter that had the “Chinese connection”.  We asked Our Heavenly Father about the article and the dream.  HE indicated to us that I was to share this on the blog thus I have now done so.

    Any good businessman hopes for the best, prepares for the worst.  Our Heavenly Father issues warnings not to scare us but to prepare us.  If violence is coming, we should be prepared to go through it by faith, not by fear.  The attitude of entitlement and arrogance of the U.S. has set itself up for lamentations.  Our Heavenly Father will evoke a corrective judgment on nations who move toward godlessness.  The adversaries of the U.S. have been empowered by this attitude.  Homeland Security has spent billions and still cannot keep airplanes safe.  Another homeland attack is inevitable since the covering of THE LORD has been lifted.  These prophetic warnings are to be heeded even though we all know that Our Heavenly Father may evoke mercy at any time and avert the judgment.  Unless this happens, lawlessness will be dealt with by righteous judgment and the “books” will be reconciled.

    We have been led to buy glass storage containers to hold staple foods.  As you may know, plastic leaches into the food and is a toxin so those baggies are not the best to store food in.  Many foods do not have a long shelf life so a 90 day revolving food supply would be a good investment.  The current national food distribution chain assumes about a 20-25 day inventory of food.  Local vegetable gardening will flourish as will the art of canning.  Maybe its time to assess your food pantry and begin accumulating to a 90 day supply.  Seek out a local food co-op and join it.  Calamity occurs for a season and we should prepare for that season knowing that judgment will not be eternal.  Remember HE loves us.
