IS BEING THANKFUL A  KEY TO MATURING TO FULLNESS?

The account of the ten lepers meeting Jesus. All ten were healed as they went to register their blessing, only one (10%) made a special effort to say thanks. This resulted in his being made whole (receiving fullness of his purposed life) which meant that all the scars of the previous leprosy were gone. A person only says ‘thank you’ when they have actually received something. [Like the mountain highway gas-station sign which said, “Fill up and be tank-ful”]. Everything of life comes from God to bless us and to grow-us-up. … so, in everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning each one of us. In giving thanks, it shows that you have received not only the gift but have responded to the love from the giver. Thus we must not take any gift for granted. Even if there is a severe famine of ‘‘thank-yous’ as well as ‘pleases’ in this hour, we can constantly respond to his love. God so loved the world, He gave … Are you desiring to come into the fulness of Christ – now at this time? The provision is given, so WHAT IS YOUR VISION?

I say “Amen”.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

The Apostle Paul lays out the glorification process in the above Scripture:

Foreknew

Predestined

Called

Justified

Glorified

In each case “HE” takes credit in accomplishing the process, step, or phase.  Who are these people predestined to be glorified?  Those who Love GOD.  Servias Ministries was established on Love.  These blogs have Love as their intent.  The Second Census had Love has its basis for inheritance.  Those who are reading these blogs are drawn to the intent of Love.  Sixteen years ago, I was alerted by Our Heavenly Father that something noteworthy would happen in eight years (2005).  That was the year HE directed me to focus on Love.  I simply said “Amen”.  I set aside all other studies and focus.  One year later, HE directed the formation of Servias Ministries.  Its function was to serve mankind but I had no details.  As I continued to focus on Love, I took notes.  HE then directed me to write “The Circumcised Heart of Love” and publish it.  I simply said “Amen”.

An interesting thing happened when I began to focus on Love.  My perspective on all matters expanded dramatically.  Suddenly, the Divine Intent of Love gave me the understanding in certain areas I had been lacking.  I wish I could say I changed overnight but I didn’t.  The good news is that the change began.  I was a hard-driving businessman and began to set it aside to be led by the Spirit in a much greater degree.  I thought I was being led by the Spirit to some degree but found I was lacking.  Love must be resident to be fully led by the Spirit.  The Spirit is motivated by Love.

As we walk in Love, things start to work together on our behalf.  The resources of the universe are brought forth for our use.  Paul conveyed this truth in verse 28.  Those who Love GOD are those called according to HIS purpose.  HIS purpose is the manifestation of HIS Love on the earth.  If you are not focused on embracing the fullness of Love, how can you expect to fulfill HIS purpose?

These words I am writing today are a call to move your focus to the one requirement in order to be called according to HIS purpose: Love.  Everyone wants the end result of glorification.  However, glorification is for ministering and serving all of creation, not for self interest.  You will not die to self without the revelation of Love.  You may talk the talk, but you will not walk the walk without this revelation.  Love is the empowerment needed to fulfill glorification.  Jesus Loved, died, and was then glorified.  He revealed the process.

Love never fails and never ends.  It outlasts everything else.  Shouldn’t we focus our attention or receiving this eternal aspect of Our Heavenly Father.  We have been shown the process that leads to glorification.  Do you think we can leave out the most critical aspect of Love?

We are now completing the 16th year since the call was given in 1997.  At the beginning of this call, the Jezebel spirit tried to move the focus away.  That spirit was exposed and dealt with by HIS grace and mercy.  It is not surprising that this spirit again attempted to usurp the authority of Love.  Once again, Love prevailed.  Love conquers all.  He who overcomes will be made a pillar in HIS Temple.  The wisdom of Love provides us the support structure of The Kingdom.  Nothing else can hold up the weight.

Proverbs 8:13   The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

It seems as though very few speak of “the fear of the LORD” these days.  It is as though men have an unfounded reliance in the current system.  The recent 1,000 year flood in Boulder, Colorado,  and the epic fires in California may necessitate us to rethink our reliance on man and his technology.  Our current systems (social, economic, political, and religious) have evil, pride, and arrogancy integrated into them.  These attitudes all have “division” at their core.  Division is the alternative to unity and each of us should be promoting unity.  The fulfillment of unity comes by Love and acceptance of the truth, whatever it may be.  When my wife and I inquire of THE LORD, we accept whatever Truth Our Heavenly Father speaks to us.  Sometimes, one of us is wrong and needs correction.  That is wisdom.  The basis of wisdom is the Love of the Truth.  This Love makes us teachable and correctible.  If we walk in wisdom, our calling will be promoted and the resource necessary for its fulfillment will come forth.  We do not have to walk around promoting our calling at the expense of others.  Our Heavenly Father will insure that we are at the right place, at the right time, and with the proper resources.  HE does not need our help in this respect.  When we “fear” him, we acknowledge HIS plan at its fullness.  We submit to HIS corrective process of us and others who appear to be resisting our calling.  We don’t need a “Kingdom” policeman to appeal to if we see someone infringing on “our” calling.  Our Heavenly Father is sufficient to correct HIS children.  If someone has gone astray, we should deal with the spiritual entities that are misleading that person, not complaining and judging.  We should be interceding on his or her behalf, not sowing discord.  Sowing discord creates strife and contention.  Ultimately, it leads to the “outer darkness”.

Proverbs 6:

16 ​​These six things the LORD hates,

​​Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

17 ​​A proud look,

​​A lying tongue,

​​Hands that shed innocent blood,

18 ​​A heart that devises wicked plans,

​​Feet that are swift in running to evil,

19 ​​A false witness who speaks lies,

​​And one who sows discord among brethren.

All seven of these things the LORD hates create division in one way or another.  Our Heavenly Father loves unity among the brethren.  As mature sons and daughters, we should be promoting Love and unity, not division in any of its forms.  The Feast of Tabernacles is all about coming together in unity before THE LORD and exalt HIS Truth in Love.

You can be sure there will be resistance to your calling.  There will be those who are envious, bitter, or just plain ugly about what you are called to do.  Don’t sweat it.  Don’t be offended.  Just Love them, forgive them, and move on.  Our Heavenly Father will give them their “corrective” interview at the appropriate time.

Proverbs 25:

21 ​​If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat;

​​And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

22 ​​For so you will heap coals of fire on his head,

​​And the LORD will reward you.
