FATHER calls us to be Holy and faithful! Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 1: 1 Paul, an apostle (special messenger, personally chosen representative) of Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed), by the will of God [that is, by His purpose and choice], To the saints (God’s Holy people) who are at Ephesus and are faithful and loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus  (AMP) How many times have I read this verse without truly contemplating the brevity of this salutation and introduction to the book of Ephesians?  I repent!  Sadly, how many ministers of The Gospel have focused on this important verse?  I don’t recall any such emphasis if it was preached! The average believer would be challenged to associate with the qualifications expressed in the very first verse of this book, yet they pick and choose verses to embrace depending on their current situation.  FATHER only speaks faith-filled Words and ...

Dealing With Coming Events

What events are coming that will affect you and me? A prophet is someone chosen by God to speak for God. Their job, whatever the time period or tidings, was to accurately impart His message. Men and women called to this task came from differing backgrounds, personalities and levels of social status. But what they all had in common was a heart for God, an anointing to hear from Him, and the faithfulness to impart his message to others. A prophet may alert us to a situation that we are not aware of.  A prophet may confirm a Word given to us by FATHER, often an unexpected Word.  The prophet may issue a warning of a forthcoming event requiring us to pray or simply to urge us to prepare for such an event. Focus First On The Spiritual

Let us not bypass the Spiritual and only consider the physical! If you are unaware of the Spiritual, you will have difficulty understanding the physical events set before you. Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 1: 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in Christ with every Spiritual blessing in the Heavenly places, Our blessings originate in Heavenly places before they manifest in the physical realm. Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 9: 1 And getting into a boat He crossed over and came to His own city. Another Kids In Need Update

FATHER sees the impact on those kids: The Village program has been a game changer for the HS (high school). Two specific stories occurred late last year and during the summer. One family who has 4 students in the district reached out to me privately, asking for help regarding some activities they are participating in, While I couldn't help with those activities, I did give them gift cards to Target, and Crest, and that helped them continue their participation in the school sponsored events. Another story occurred last year when a lower-income student was struggling and Mr. Marchino gave him some cards and the student just wept and fell into his arms. Since then, he has totally changed his attitude in school and comes to Mr. Marchino or myself when he is having a bad day.

We Were Predestined

Those of us who are embracing the call to walk in Holiness, are destined to manifest HIS Glory here on earth! How and when will this manifestation occur?  What does it matter?  FATHER will express HIS Glory in due time. The word predestined means: to predetermine, decide beforehand; God decreeing from Eternity; to foreordain, appoint beforehand. You and I were not unintended accidents at the time of our conception.  FATHER predetermined who we were to be prior to that moment.  Out of HIS Love, HE gave us the choice to walk in the foreordained appointment and anointing to fulfill our individual Divine purposes.  Paul understood this by direct revelation from Jesus Himself. The early believers who experienced Pentecost, devoted themselves to Christ and the teachings of the apostles! FATHER takes pleasure in those who devote themselves to HIM. Luke wrote by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2: 42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. Another Kids In Need Update

I met with Mrs. Donley at the middle school last week. There is a middle school boy whose dad is in the end stages of a cancer diagnosis. This was one of the families that Servias blessed last Christmas. He will be undergoing a very extensive surgery which will require them to be out of state for several weeks. They met with Mrs. Donley a couple of weeks ago to talk about the impact that all of this will have on them. She was able to provide them with some Crest cards provided by Servias to help financially as they're navigating all of this. In situations like this, we often feel like there is nothing we can do because the situation is so heavy. But what a blessing that she could not only love them, encourage them, and support them emotionally, but she could also provide something tangible.

Pursuing Holiness- Part 88

As we are fully aligned and submitted to Jesus Christ, we will walk as one with Him and be fully mature in Holiness!
